“Good morning, Doc,” the guard addressed Isaac as we waited for the elevator to reach the ground floor.

“Not Doc yet, Bert,” Isaac corrected him. “Hey, though.” Isaac spoke with enthusiasm and turned to address Bert before he continued. “I did get accepted to a residency at Children’s Hospital.” He sounded proud as he talked with Bert. “I was really sweating it; barely made the application deadline and I was afraid all the spots at my first choice would be filled.”

Isaac must have caught me staring because he looked down at me, a small smile playing on his lips. My heart started thundering in my chest and the temperature in the room shot up at least fifty degrees. I smiled back and broke eye contact to take off my coat. Anything to keep myself busy and my eyes off the man-candy in front of me. I’m not sure when I became so boy crazy, but my hormones needed to calm the fuck down. I needed to get through this check-up then get the heck out of here before I made myself look even crazier than I felt.

Truth be told, I was nervous as hell bringing Julia up to my apartment. First, because I’d never brought any female here that wasn’t someone I hooked up with at a party or took home from a bar late at night. And even then, I was too drunk to care what they thought of me. I wasn’t a player, despite my extracurricular activities. I just tended to let loose on the rare occasions when I had a night off and didn’t pass out from exhaustion.

Secondly, I never knew what to expect out of my sleep-deprived fellow medical student roommates. I cringed as I unlocked and opened the door, announcing my entrance as best I could, hoping they’d be on their best behavior.

“I’m home,” I yelled into the entryway, my voice echoing through our mostly empty loft. We kept minimal furniture in the common spaces and the high ceilings allowed sound to travel easily.

“What the hell happened, Isaac?” Brogan stumbled into the room from his bedroom, his hair a mess. He was half-dressed and made no move to cover up his goods. “The parade’s not over.” He looked between the three of us, confusion evident on his face. “I know this, because I can still hear all the action from my bedroom window, and it’s not helping my horrible hangover migraine.”

“Oh, a hangover, huh?” I crossed my arms in front of me and stared down at my roommate, though he was only two inches shorter than me at most. “I thought you were sick.”

“I am sick, dude.” He began to focus his attention on the girls, more so Julia, and I wasn’t sure how I felt about that. “It’s called tequila flu.” He laughed and walked up to Natalie first, not caring at all that he was wearing only his boxer briefs.

“My name’s Brogan,” he said in his flirtiest voice, which I’d heard on more occasions than I cared to admit, “and you are?”

“Not interested.” Natalie cut him off and walked around him, dragging Julia with her and leading her to the couch.

Brogan shot me a dejected look and appeared to be waiting for me to offer some sort of explanation. My handsome Irish friend was not used to being turned down. I just shrugged my shoulders and went to join the girls in the other room.

“Alright, then,” Brogan spoke out loud to no one in particular as he made his way back to his room. “I’ll be in here if anyone needs me.” He locked eyes with Julia and winked right before he turned the corner, making it clear he’d be available for any type of help she might need.

Holy shit! My mind was short circuiting at the sight of the man standing in front of me. His hair was red, but not fire red. More of a deep chestnut, probably mistaken for brown unless the light caught the highlights in just the right way. His eyes were golden. Not brown, not hazel, but actually freaking gold. And he had freckles. Not just a few scattered across the bridge of his nose or under his eyes, but all over his face, shoulders and chest. They were absolutely breathtaking. He was the most uniquely sexy looking man I’d ever seen. Between him and Isaac, the room felt like it had lost all of its oxygen. My cool was definitely lost now and I started pulling at the neckline of my t-shirt, trying to get some more air into my lungs.

At some point, Brogan made his way over to Natalie, and I felt a pang of jealousy that his attention wasn’t focused on me. What the hell was happening to me and my hormones? Maybe the fall really did something to my head. Natalie dismissed him and I felt equal amounts of relief and embarrassment for him. I looked down to hide my smile and let Natalie pull me over to the couch.

Isaac shook his head as his friend disappeared back into his room.

“I’m going to get my kit.” He motioned towards what I assumed to be his bedroom, and I watched him as he walked away, getting lost in my own thoughts.

“Look at you, JJ,” Nat teased and slapped me on the leg. “You might want to wipe off the drool before he comes back.” She sat back on the couch and let out a dramatic sigh. “Before either of them comes back, actually.” She pretended to fan herself before cracking a smile and breaking out in laughter. “I mean, where in the hell do they make guys like that?” She stared dreamily towards the direction of the bedrooms, sighing dramatically. “If only I wasn’t madly in love with Brandon.”

I kicked her in the leg gently to snap her back to reality when Isaac came back with his medical supplies. He cleared off some magazines and remotes from the coffee table, before taking a seat facing me.

“I was expecting a big leather doctor’s bag,” I joked, gesturing towards the first aid kit he held between his hands.

He laughed and snapped open the top of the white, metal container. “Nah, they won’t give me one of those until I’m a real doctor.” He organized some supplies next to him on the table, and I watched his hands as he worked.

They were strong, sexy hands. He had removed his coat at some point since we got here, and his short-sleeved scrubs allowed me full access to his arms. I had a thing about forearms. The muscles rippled under the effort he put into getting things ready to fix me, and I found that hot as hell. Those same hands take care of kids every day. My heart began to hammer in my chest again as he leaned forward with a cotton ball, looking very serious.

“This may sting a bit,” he warned. He was so close now, within a few inches of my face. The intensity in his stare was unnerving. He made contact with my skin, and the pain caused me to jump. At some point, the hand that wasn’t working on cleaning my wound found its way to my thigh and he squeezed at the same moment that I felt the bite of the antiseptic.

“Almost done,” he whispered, and I felt his breath on my face. I closed my eyes and took in everything I was feeling. His warm breath, the feel of his hand against my leg; just high enough to make the room entirely too hot again and the caress of his voice. “It doesn’t look like you’ll need any stitches.” He leaned back, and I immediately felt his absence. “I’ll put a butterfly bandage on just in case.” He worked swiftly but precisely, placing the bandage carefully. Far too quickly, he was finished. “I don’t think you’ll have a scar, but if you do it’s close enough to your hairline that you’ll never see it.”

“Thank you, Isaac.” I was genuinely appreciative of all of his help. Sticking up for me with the assholes at the parade, making sure I made it to safety, and then tending to my wounds; it was all very sweet. The events of the morning started to take a toll on me, and I felt a headache creeping up behind the cut on my head. I leaned back against the couch and closed my eyes, rubbing my hands down my face.

“You’ll be fine, but I would feel much better if you stayed here for a few hours so I can watch you for a concussion.” He looked between Natalie and I as he spoke, realizing he needed to convince her as much as he did me.

“That’s really not necessary,” I countered, glancing at Natalie for support.

“JJ, I really think you should.” She rested her hand on my leg before she continued, “I have to head into work, and you shouldn’t be alone.” She laughed before turning serious again. “Besides, I think Isaac would have just left you out there
on the ground if he was some kind of crazy serial killer.” She focused her stare on Isaac, letting him know she meant business. “If you turn into a freaky murderer, I’ll kill you myself.”

She stood up and looked down at me on the couch. “I’m going home to get ready. My shift ends about nine tonight.” She grabbed her keys out of her pocket and her cell phone from the side table where she’d left it. “Text me if you go home. If not, I’ll head back here after work to get you.” She gave Isaac one more menacing glare before turning to walk out. He hurried after her and they exchanged a few words at the door. She put her hand on his arm, in thanks, I’m assuming, and gave me one more smile before she left.

Natalie let me know in no uncertain terms she was trusting me with her most favorite person in the world, and that she’d have my balls if I did anything to hurt her. I let her know she was safe with me and showed her out before making my way back over to Julia.

“I let Natalie know that we’re having a little St. Pat’s party here tonight.” I put my hands into my scrub pockets, suddenly nervous to be in the room alone with Julia. “It won’t start until around ten, since our other roommate’s shift at the hospital doesn’t end till after nine or so.”

I pulled out one of the baskets we kept under the coffee table and grabbed a fleece throw. “I know you might be tired after everything that happened today.” I sat the blanket on the end of the couch. “I’m going to finish up some paperwork and take a shower if you want to nap, but I’ll be back to check on you every hour or so.”

She was staring at the floor, a sad look haunting her face. I took a seat on the edge of the coffee table and put my finger to her chin so she’d meet my gaze. “Everything’s okay, Julia.” I hated to see the sadness in her chocolate brown eyes. She looked like she might break into tears at any moment. “Let me take care of you tonight.” I leaned closer to her as I spoke. “I won’t let anything happen to you.”

Julia nodded, giving me a small smile in appreciation and leaned back into the pillow on the end of the couch. I took off her boots and placed them under the coffee table. Julia pulled the blanket up over her and settled back into the cushions.

“Thank you again, Isaac.” She sounded truly exhausted as she spoke. “I appreciate you being my knight in shining armor today.” Her eyes began to close with the sexiest smile still on her lips. I leaned down to whisper in her ear.

“I’ll be in the other room if you need anything,” I smoothed her hair back before heading to the bathroom. “Anything at all.”

“God yes, Isaac.” I bit into his shoulder as my release threatened to take over.

“Shhh, baby,” Isaac spoke into my hair, pushing the sweat-drenched pieces away from my face. “Let me watch you come undone.”

Firm hands made their way up my legs, grasping the inside of my thighs and spreading me open. I looked down and locked gazes with the most gorgeous golden eyes I’d ever seen.

“I want to make you feel good, JJ,” Brogan whispered against my skin, causing goosebumps to break out over my entire body.

Isaac teased my nipples with one hand, and grabbed my face with the other, turning me toward his mouth. He devoured my lips, his tongue seeking entrance. “Are you going to let my friend make you come, Julia?” He broke our kiss long enough to look me in the eyes while he asked the question. I knew it was what he wanted, I could see the pleading in his eyes.

“But I want both of you, Isaac.” I grabbed onto his brown hair with everything I had, my eyes closing as Brogan’s mouth climbed higher and closer to where I needed it to be.

“Oh, you’ll be having both of us.” He claimed my mouth, proving to me he had every intention of following through with that promise. How did I end up here? Maybe this was all a dream.

“This is what you need, JJ.” Brogan nipped at the skin next to my hip. I locked onto his stare, watching as he licked his way up my body. He pulled a nipple into his mouth and sucked, gently biting the bud as it hardened. “Let us take care of you.”

I leaned back onto the bed. When did I get into bed from the couch? I closed my eyes and let myself go.

“That’s it, Julia,” I heard Isaac’s voice at my ear. His warm breath sent shivers across my otherwise exposed skin. “Keep your eyes closed and just feel.”

My senses were going crazy trying to figure out whose hands were where. Whose lips were on my nipple? Whose were taking my mouth? That was Isaac, I knew his slow and deep kiss. He traced my entire mouth with his tongue and took his time. Brogan was more frantic, desperate to devour me quickly. The contrast in their methods, alternating between slow and fast, was enough to keep me floating right on the edge.

Brogan’s tongue made its way down my body, making me writhe underneath the sensations and buck under his demanding touch. I needed his mouth on my pussy. My body had come so close to release, only to be brought back down so many times. I needed to come. As if understanding my internal pleas, Brogan’s tongue began to trace my folds and he flicked his tongue against my clit. He took two fingers and hooked them inside of me, alternating between rubbing my sensitive flesh inside and sucking and teasing my pussy. My body was on fire, and I felt Isaac’s hands worshipping my body.

“Are you close, Julia?” I had to open my eyes. I needed to know where he was. “Close them, baby.” There was a warning in his voice. “Or we’ll have to stop won’t we, Brogan?”

“Uh-huh,” Brogan spoke into my skin, the vibrations sending me that much closer to my release. “That would be a fucking shame, JJ.” He increased the pace of his fingers moving in and out of my pussy, flicking his tongue against my tightening bud. “You taste so damn good.”

Isaac’s hands slid down my body from above, stopping on the inside of my thighs. He pulled my legs further apart, spreading me for Brogan, and the feeling of both of their hands and mouths on me was more than I could handle. “I’m coming, fuck, I’m coming!” I screamed into the pillow under my head.

“Come for us, JJ,” Brogan demanded against my slick skin. “Come all over my face!”

“Yes!” My scream was cut off by Isaac’s mouth. I grabbed the back of his head, trying my best to get a hold of his short hair and bucked into Brogan’s face. Just when I thought my release was backing down, another wave crashed over me. “Fuck!”

  “Julia?”

  * * *

“Julia?” The voice was closer. I opened my eyes, sweat covering my body. Isaac was inches from my me, concern etched all over his face. The ends of his hair were wet, and he was wrapped in a towel from the waist down. I shot up on the couch.

“What happened?” I put my hand to my head as it began to pound from the sudden movement. Memories of the morning came flooding back to me. The parade, the incident, my injury, and…Isaac. And Brogan. Oh God. What had I done? I looked down at my body, my clothes fully intact. It had been a dream after all. A delicious, amazing, badass fucking dream.

“Do you have a headache?” Isaac brought his hand to my head. My eyes were focused on the water droplets running down his chest, stopping in the ridges of his sculpted stomach. I had the sudden urge to lean over and lick every single drop from his body. Isaac sat up straighter on the table, his concern turning into confusion. It was as if he could read my mind.

“I’m okay.” I leaned back into the couch and tried to force my hormones in check. “I had a weird dream, is all.”

“Stress can cause vivid dreams and nightmares.” He made his way to the kitchen as he spoke. “I’ve got some ibuprofen in here.” He searched through the cabinet above the stove, causing his torso to stretch, and his towel to fall lower on his hips.

He came back into the room with a glass of water and three pills, dropping them into my outstretched hands as I licked my lips to wet them. The water was just what I needed. My mouth was dry, not from my injury or stress, but from the most vivid, amazing dream I’d ever had in my life.

I’d just stepped out of the shower when I heard her scream. It didn’t sound like fear, though. I ran into the living room, and watched as she thrashed and moaned, her forehead creased in something resembling pleasure. Careful not to wake her, I walked quietly toward the couch and knelt next to her.

“Brogan,” she let out on a sigh.

  What the fuck?

“I need you, Isaac!” Her whimpers became louder and she kicked the covers off of her legs as she writhed around on the couch. “I’m going to come!” She screamed in pleasure, right before her eyes shot open.

I took my time in the kitchen so that I could compose myself. This towel was doing little to hide my cock straining against the thin fabric. I took a deep breath and leaned against the sink, filling her cup with water and getting my shit under control. By the time I made my way back to the couch, my heartbeat had returned to normal, and I took the time to analyze what had just happened. Clearly, she had an intense sex dream about me and my roommate. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that. Brogan and I weren’t shy, for sure. We had shared a partner on a few occasions. Gray had joined us more than once, as well. If I’m being honest, the idea of sharing Julia with my roommates turned me on, and I’d be down for that in a second.
