Hawk's Choice (Infernal Sons MC Book 3) Page 5

by Carol Dawn

My uncle is scheduled to leave Canada in two days, and I can’t find the location of William. Hawk is especially concerned about this.

“I’m going to walk over to Bear’s for a bit,” Hawk says, tucking me into his big bed. “I’ll be back in about thirty minutes.”

I’ve lived alone since leaving my uncle's house, but the thought of being alone now has my fear at an all-time high. But I give Hawk a reassuring smile.

“It’s just across the yard, baby,” he tells me, softly. “I’ll be standing on his porch the entire time. I won’t take my eyes off this cabin.”

Knowing that he’s seen through my shield, I just let it go.

I can feel the stupid tears fill my eyes.

“Oh baby, I won’t go anywhere. Scoot over, we’ll both go to bed and I’ll talk to him tomorrow.”

“I don’t know why I’m feeling so vulnerable,” I whisper. “I feel like I could fall apart at any moment. But I’ll be fine. Go, talk to your brother. I know you won’t let anything happen to me.”

Hawk leans down and presses a light kiss to my lips.

“You’re everything to me, baby. You’re my whole world. I would fucking destroy someone if they so much as touched you.”

The fear is still there, but knowing I have someone as fierce and badass as Hawk and the Infernal Sons in my corner makes it a bit easier.

“I’m going to lay with you until you fall asleep,” he says, laying behind me in the bed. “Then I’m going to have a quick chat with Bear and come back and hold you for the rest of the night.”

Wrapped up in the safety that is Hawk, it doesn’t take long for me to fall asleep.

  Chapter Six

  Hawk

Last night, after giving Bear the rundown of Phoenix’s situation, names of the two men who are after him and an update on the new tracking device, I went back home and crawled into bed behind my man.

Even with my mind running a million miles per minute, the second I pressed my nose into Phoenix’s neck and inhaled his scent, I was out.

Yes, I know, I’m an animal.

I woke Phoenix up around five to give him his pain meds and we both fell back to sleep. A couple of hours later, I’m woken up by him thrashing around.

  “Baby, what’s wrong?” I ask.

He doesn’t answer and he doesn’t stop thrashing. He swings his arms up and places them in a defensive position in front of his face as if to stop an attacker.

  Fuck, he’s having a nightmare.

“Phoenix,” I say, running my fingers through his sweat-dampened hair. “Wake up, sweet boy. I’m right here. You’re just dreaming.”

When he continues to thrash around, I do the only thing I can think of to stop him before he causes his injuries any more damage.

I grab his hands and gently pin them above his head before easing myself on top of him. I try to keep most of my weight to my lower half and my arms. I lean up on my elbows as far as I can, so I don’t put any unwarranted pressure on his ribs.

It takes a few minutes for him to calm down and stop whimpering, and another minute before his eyes slowly open.

“Hawk,” he says, confused. “What’s going on?”

I release his hands and push myself up a little further. But, not much. I just want to make sure I don’t hurt him, not leave his warmth completely.

“You were having a nightmare,” I inform him.

“Oh,” he says, quietly. “So, you’re on top of me because?”

I chuckle before leaning down and kissing his forehead.

“You were having a nightmare and thrashing around. I didn’t want you to hurt yourself, so I pinned you down until you woke up.”

  “Oh,” he says, again.

Then, right before my eyes, a beautiful blush races across his face and down his chest.

“What are you thinking about?” I ask, curiously.

  “Nothing,” he says, quickly.

I grin down at my man. So, he’s shy, huh?

“Tell me, baby,” I push. “What’s making this beautiful color race across your body?”

He squeezes his eyes closed and quickly shakes his head back and forth.

I don’t say anything and just wait for him to answer, knowing he’ll give me what I want.

After what seems like hours, he does.

“When I first opened my eyes, you had me completely pinned down,” he whispers, his eyes still closed. “I really like how it made me feel.”

I can feel the wicked grin spread across my face.

“You mean, you liked it when you felt completely helpless against me?” I ask. “When I had you in a position to where I could do whatever I wanted to you?”

  He nods.

“Because, even though I felt defenseless,” he whispers. “I still felt safe because I knew you would never hurt me.”

  Fuck.

I drop the lower half of my body until it’s pressed right against the part of my man I am dying to explore. His eyes swing open when he feels my hardness against him.

He lets out a sexy as fuck groan when I rock forward. Leaning down, I take his mouth in an all-consuming kiss. Pulling back, I kiss down his jaw until I find a sensitive area behind his ear.

His soft mewling’s have me wild.

“One day soon,” I whisper. “The moment you are fully healed, I’m going to show you what it means to be mine. I’m going to tie this body down and take control of your every single pleasure. I’m going to deny you any release until you’re begging me for it. Then, and only then, will I allow you to give in to your pleasure.”

  Phoenix’s breathing increases.

  “I’m healed enough,” he pants.

“You’re not healed enough for how I want to use you, sweet boy,” I say, nibbling on his ear. “However, if you lie completely still, I’ll help you relax.”

I kiss my way down his body until I reach the top of his sleep pants.

“Does having your arm in that position cause you pain?” I ask.

  “No,” he says, distractedly.

“Phoenix,” I warn, as I move back up his body until I’m looking into his eyes.

“I mean it, listen to your body and tell me the truth. Does having your arm above your head hurt?”

He looks me in the eyes and says, “I promise, Hawk. I’m fine. It pulls a little, but it doesn’t really hurt as long as I keep it relaxed on the pillow.”

Seeing the truth in his eyes, I work my way back down.

  “Don’t move,” I warn.

Grabbing the sides of his pants I pull them down, along with his boxers.

My man is perfectly beautiful everywhere.

  “Wait, Hawk,” Phoenix says.

I stop and look up, waiting.

  “Uhm, it’s just that…uhm…well, I kinda…you know?”

He stumbles on his words and it takes me a while to put the pieces together.

  “Are you a virgin, baby?”

Squeezing his eyes shut, he nods.

  Fuck!

“Don’t you dare be embarrassed, sweet boy,” I reassure him. “Do you have any idea how happy that makes me? How fucking hot it makes me knowing I’ll be the only one to ever enter your body?”

He opens his eyes and must see the truth looking back at him.

  “You caveman,” he says, giggling.

“Yes,” I agree. “Now, don’t move.”

I lean down and grab Phoenix’s leaking member. My man is the perfect size. I give one long lick from the base of his cock to the head before swallowing him down my throat. I don’t tease. I don’t have the patience for teasing, right now.

  “Oh, Hawk,” he moans.

I can tell he’s already close. I reach down and gently roll his balls in my hand. My fingers twitch with the need to explore the ass so close by, but I restrain myself. But only just.

I know he’s only seconds away when his hips start thrusting up into my mouth. I use my free hand to press his hips down onto the bed, and I move my other hand back to his ass and press m
y finger against his hole. Not enough to enter, but enough for him to know what my future plans are.

Phoenix’s body goes rigid and he comes deep in my throat. Moaning around his cock at the most delicious taste I have ever tasted, I make sure not to miss a drop.

Once he’s completely spent, I kiss my way up his body until I’m straddling his hips.

“What about you?” he asks, dazed.

“You just lay there and look beautiful,” I tell him, taking out my own painfully hard cock. “This isn’t going to take long, baby. I want to see you painted in my come. Is that okay with you?”

Receiving his nod, I start stroking myself. The vision before me, along with the taste in my mouth, is all I need to finish quickly. Too quickly.

  “God, baby.”

It takes all of my willpower not to close my eyes against the amount of pleasure rippling through my body as I come. I don’t want to miss a single second of this.

My come spurts across his abdomen and chest and ends with a single drop on his chin. Phoenix reaches down and wipes the drop up with his finger only to suck it into his mouth. He moans around his first taste of me.

“I can’t wait to get more of that,” he says, shyly.

“You little tease,” I say. “Only you could make my just spent cock beg for more attention.”

I lean down and kiss his laughter inside my body. I will never get enough of this man.

“I’ll be right back,” I tell him before jumping up and rushing to the bathroom. I clean myself off quickly before grabbing a fresh cloth to clean Phoenix up.

“Oh, I can do that,” he says with an embarrassed smile when I start cleaning up the mess I made on his body.

I return his smile and continue my work without saying a word. Once he’s all clean, I crawl back into bed behind him and pull him against me.

After roughly ten minutes, I start talking.

“As much as I would love to lay here with you for hours,” I say, quietly. “There are things we need to talk about. Things we need to get situated.”

“If I’m allowed to opt-out as a patched brother, I can still help with tracking and research,” he says, quickly.

  I kiss his head reassuringly.

“It’s nothing like that, baby,” I say, sitting up in bed and pulling him with me. I wait until he turns so I can see his face before I continue. “If you don’t want to become a patched brother, then you don’t have to. But I’m sure Bear would appreciate any future help you would be willing to give. What we need to talk about is a little more personal.”

  “Okay,” he says, nervously.

“Have you sorted things out with your inheritance?”

His eyes narrow with suspicion. I’ll admit to the slight sting that he would think I would use him like that. However, he did just admit to being a millionaire and there are people who would take advantage of a situation like ours to get their claws into that money.

So, I can understand his hesitation. I don’t like it, but I get it.

“Let’s get something straight before we continue this conversation,” I say, firmly. “The only thing I am interested in is you. Not your money. Just you. You could never touch a dime of that money and we would be just fine, baby. I have enough to take care of us. I have a nest egg of my own and I get a share from all the companies the Sons own. As far as I’m concerned, your inheritance is yours alone. You could put some up for our kids one day, but that’s your money and you can spend it in whatever way you want.”

Phoenix is looking up at me with wide eyes.

“Did you say kids?” he asks, panicking.

I laugh and gently pull him onto my lap.

“Yes, sweet boy. One day, I want to have a child with you. Not right now, not even next year. But, one day in the future, when we’re both ready, I want a child with the man I love.”

When his eyes grow impossibly wider, I chuckle and press my fingers to his lips.

“You heard me correctly, Phoenix. I’ve loved you from afar for a long time. Now, it’s time I love you up close.”

Leaning in, I replace my fingers with my lips. Instantly, he submits and opens for me. Making love to his mouth is my new favorite way to keep him quiet.

  I eventually, reluctantly, pull back.

“Now, answer the question,” I tell him.

He squeezes his eyes shut and rubs his hand down his face.

“What was the question?” he asks, dazed.

  I smirk, knowingly.

“Have you gotten things sorted with your inheritance?” I ask again.

“Oh,” he says. “Yeah, I think so. I did some digging and figured out who my parent’s lawyer was. A few months after I left my uncle's house, I called her up and told her that I turned eighteen. I didn’t mention my uncle apart from telling her that I was now on my own. I’m the only person who has access to the funds.”

“Good,” I say, rewarding his answer with a kiss. “Now, let’s go make breakfast.”

  Chapter Seven

  Slim

I’ve been at Hawk’s cabin for over a week now. It feels so good to be myself again. The bruises on my body are almost gone but with a little concealer, I can make those bad boys vanish completely.

I’ve been back at the clubhouse a few times and I think every one is getting used to my new role. They still call me Slim, which I actually prefer.

Except for Hawk, he only calls me Phoenix, which I love coming from him.

Speaking of Hawk, I guess we’re in a relationship.

  I think.

I don’t remember either of us asking the other one out. It feels like it just…well, started.

I’m not complaining. Hawk makes sure I have nothing to complain about.

  Well, almost nothing.

We haven’t gone much further than him going down on me. He let me suck his cock once, but only if I sat completely still and let him do most of the work.

“Baby, what are you thinking about?” Hawk asks from his position near the sink.

  “Nothing,” I say.

  “Why are you fidgeting?”

  Why indeed?

“I’ve been thinking,” I say, trying to change the subject. “I’m feeling much better. I don’t even need to take my pain meds anymore. Maybe I should go back to my apartment.”

Hawk freezes in the middle of drying a bowl. He just stares at me for a few seconds before putting the bowl down and coming to kneel in front of me.

“Is there a reason why you want to go back to your place?” he asks, curiously.

“I just don’t want to overstay my welcome,” I admit. “I really appreciate everything you’ve done for me, but I don’t want to be a bother anymore.”

Hawk leans forward and cradles my face in his large hands.

“Baby, you’re not a bother. You’re not in the way. And quite frankly, I’m not ready for you to leave. I’m not sure if I ever will be.”

Is this man for real? Do people actually say stuff like that?

“Sometimes, you can be a bit much,” I tell him.

“You’ll get used to it,” he says with a smile.

I’m not sure how long we sit there with Hawk gently caressing my face when there’s a knock at the door.

I blow out a frustrated breath at the interruption. Hawk just chuckles, kisses my forehead and stands to answer the door.

A few seconds later Hawk walks back into the kitchen followed by Bear.

  “Hey Slim,” Bear greets.

  “Hey back at ya, Prez.”

“I’ve told you half a dozen times, Slim. You don’t have to call me Prez anymore. Bear is fine.”

I just shrug my shoulders. We’ve already had this talk a few times. I just don’t feel comfortable calling him Bear. He’s been Prez since the moment I met him. So, brother or not, I’m not calling him anything but what he is. The President of the Infernal Sons. Prez for short.

“Can I get you something to drink?” I ask.

“No, thanks, I won’t be he
re long. Do you mind if I ride with you, today?” he asks Hawk. “Left my truck at the clubhouse last night and rode my bike home. Too fucking cold to make that mistake again. But I had to get it home one way or another”

“You could have just put it in the back of your truck and tied it down,” I say.

At Bear’s glare, I giggle and head to the living room.

“I’m staying home today, big guy,” I yell as I flop down on the couch. “Got some re-runs to watch.”

“Call if you need anything,” Hawk says from right behind the couch. I screech and jump up.

“How the hell did you get in here so fast?” I ask. “And quietly?”

With a chuckle, he walks around the couch and kisses the top of my head.

  “Be back this evening.”

“Move over greedy fucker,” Bear says, shoving Hawk to the side. He, not so gently, pulls me into his arms. “Enjoy your day of laziness, Slim.”

“I plan to,” I say into his chest, ignoring the pain in my ribs. “And I plan to eat enough pizza to hibernate through two winters.”

I’m transferred to an identical, yet completely different set of arms.

“Even if you don’t need anything, call me,” Hawk says from above. “I mean it, sweet boy. Every hour, if I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume the worst.”

  “Overkill, much?” I joke.

“No,” Hawk and Bear say in that creepy twin way.

I roll my eyes and flop back down onto the couch. Men and their overprotective ego’s. They’re going to be the death of me.

“Don’t forget that someone from Meadow Security will be by this morning to install a new alarm and some cameras,” Hawk says, walking to the door. “Call me when they get here and when they leave.”

“Yeah, yeah,” I tease. “I got it. I’ve mentioned this before, but you do realize that I can install one hell of a security system, right? You do know that the one at the club is my design?”

“And like I said,” he rebuttals with a glare. “You’re still healing and shouldn’t be climbing on ladders or up trees to install cameras. This will do for now. Now, sit your sexy ass back down and watch your shows.”

Like I said, the death of me.
