He shoved his thumb into the crack of my ass, finding my puckered hole. The moment he shoved it inside, I lost it, unable to hold back the orgasm.

“Uh. Uh. Oh. My. God!” I was hoarse, my eyes flashing the strangest and most beautiful light and I could swear I was reading his mind, his thoughts and needs. He would never let me go. He would find me no matter what the bastards did to me.

  For I belonged to him.

As the climax rushed all throughout my body, I was pulled into the sweetest moment of bliss, my mouth open yet speechless.

The single orgasm became a beautiful wave and all the while, he lapped at my cream, his fingers driving into me manically.

Only when I stopped shaking did he lift his head, the growl elongated as he stared down at me. I watched as he studied me, tilting his head back and forth.

Then he yanked my bottom to the edge of the cage, lifting me slightly as he placed the tip of his cock just past my swollen folds. “Mine.”

The single word was haunting. I wrapped my fingers around the bars, holding on as he drove into me in a forceful manner, his chest rising and falling from the action. Every muscle was tense as he powered into me, jerking my body up and down as his actions increased, his hunger overwhelming.

“Oh, yes. I...” My mouth was dry yet there was nothing that would quench my thirst.

Except for this man... this alien.

He was crazed with his desire, thrusting hard and fast, my muscles tightening around him, drawing him in even deeper. Everything was a blur as he fucked me.

Just when I thought he was prepared to come, to fill me with his seed, he pulled me back into his arms, holding me as he narrowed his eyes. Using the power of his muscles, he rolled onto the balls of his feet, plunging in and out.

I wrapped one hand around his hair, marveling at the silky feel, trying to understand what was happening between us. There was no way. I was simply being taken. I lolled my head, every muscle aching from the intensity as he continued. It seemed he would never stop, would never allow himself pleasure.

In the next seconds, he staggered backward, finally giving into his needs. The moment I squeezed my pussy muscles one last time, the intensity of his roar was entirely different.

  Haunted.

  Yet hungry.

  But this time for revenge.

I wrapped my arms around him, pressing my face against his chest as his cock continued to throb. He was still hard, still hungry, and for some crazy reason, the thought gave me a smile.

His intense roar was unlike anything I’d ever heard and one I’d never forget. What had happened to him?

And what was going to happen to me?

I had no way of knowing how much time had passed, but the click of the same door I’d heard before brought me back to reality.

Snarling, Draziak eased me down, pushing me behind him, shielding me from the masked men who took long strides into the room, all with weapons in their hands.

“Get away!” Draziak hissed, hunkering down as if prepared to fight.

“Take him. Lock his ass down,” one of the men stated.

The invaders were dressed in black, moving even closer, prepared to fire if necessary.

“What the hell is going on?” I demanded, struggling to get around the massive alien.

“Take the bitch. You know what to do,” the soldier commanded, pointing in my direction.

“You. Will. Not. Touch. Her!” Draziak twisted, able to catch two of the men with a single kick, the force pummeling them a solid thirty feet away, the hard thud ringing in my ears.

“Fuck this shithead. You know what to do.”

Weapons were raised but at that moment, I could tell they were sophisticated dart guns, the kind used by zookeepers on some of the outposts. What the hell was going on here?

“No. No!” I yelled, searching the observation booth, finally lifting my middle finger in frustration. “What are you doing?”

Draziak took long strides toward the other men, catching one by the throat, tossing him as if he didn’t weigh anything.

“Goddamn it!” the soldier yelled. “Get him now!”

I heard the same chuckle as before only seconds before the whoosh and pop as the dart gun was shot twice.

And still, Draziak wouldn’t go down.

  “Shoot him again!”

“Be careful. We want him alive,” the captor in the booth shouted down. “Yes, Draziak. She now belongs to you. You will learn how it feels to have something you actually care about ripped away from you. Your mate. Your destiny. You will hunger in a way that you’ve never known. You will be willing to destroy anything and anyone who gets in your way of finding her. And what’s better? You will be forced to think about her for years and years and years...”

I glared up at the observation booth as the words echoed, my entire world spinning.

Two of the soldiers grabbed me. In one of their hands was some kind of syringe. “What are you doing? Let go of me!” Scorpion. No matter what happened, I would remember the bastard’s name and I would hunt him down.

“No! Mine! You... will... die...” Draziak yelled as he struggled to get to me, trying desperately to move, even as his body began to shut down.

The slight prick wasn’t nearly as terrifying as the realization that there was nothing I could do. As I slumped, my eyes getting heavy, my last vision was of Draziak being dragged away as if he was nothing but a...

  Beast.

  Chapter Three

  Two hours earlier

“Volkodan Species—Project Scorpion Experiment Number Ten.”

Under every stone sleeps a scorpion.

The ancient Greek proverb fit the name of the project quite well indeed, only I was actually considered the ravenous arachnid, a moniker I treasured after it was coined by a disgruntled soldier. What a shame he’d been removed from his post.

  And from life.

Chuckling, I rubbed my jaw, shifting my thoughts to more important details.

  Aliens.

I enjoyed just thinking the word, let alone the glory of what it meant. How many of the other outpost leaders had actually been able to spend time with an alien species? I knew of only two, and the fuckers in charge were useless in their capacities, refusing to take advantage of the situation.

The Volkodans were primal beasts, brutal in every manner, their taste for violence as well as savagery well documented by men I paid very well to protect the project with their lives. From what I’d observed, the Volkodans were far more dangerous than humans, although I’d found a way to contain them. Their special gifts were well noted, studied, and tested.

They were faster than humans, stronger, and their specialized weapons were by far the most interesting aspect about them. Their ability to torch any substance by use of their hand alone was fascinating. I’d had great pleasure in learning about their anatomy. While their skeletal systems and even their blood was remotely similar to that of a human, their keen senses allowed them to see in the dark, and even hear from long distances.

One could say I admired the species very much, but it was time for hospitality to cease, playing the good politician for the Earth Federation leaders. I’d learned all I could and in truth, I’d grown bored. Plus, I couldn’t tolerate being in the damn jungle any longer, although the rough terrain had certainly afforded me the privacy I’d deemed important. The work we’d performed had been enshrouded in secrecy for obvious reasons. I wanted all the glory.

My esteemed position within the hallowed walls of a great think tank had allowed me an advance look into the future, one where desperation would overtake the human species. The knowledge of Earth’s upcoming demise had plagued me much like overt personal tragedies. Accepting this... position with the various rules and protocol in place had been a requirement, one I could barely tolerate, but I refused to fall prey to an alien race under any circumstances.

I laughed, waving away whatever flying creature was hovering around me. The insects were horrific, o
ther predators even more dangerous. By this time tomorrow, the specialized facility would be stripped of all equipment, the remaining personnel shipped out to other locations.

I just might go on a vacation.

I snarled at the remembrance that my allotted personal time had been placed on a permanent hold until I met certain criteria. Rules. Fucking rules. Very soon, the illustrious leaders would be following mine.

I gazed at the prompter screen, the neon green cursor waiting for my next sentence. The six months since the arrival of the Volkodan ship had been far more interesting than I would have believed initially. What we’d learned from the alien species had been significant.

What I’d recently come to acquire would change every aspect of Earth, let alone several of the outposts. That is if I was able to harness the power. That’s where the commanding officer of the Volkodan battleship came in.

  New technology.

  Absolute control over other countries.

More efficient methods of maintaining Earth’s limited nuclear power, altering the source code to allow for more significant damage when required.

Even the creation of additional weapons, supplanting everything we currently used.

  The list was endless.

I mused over the thought as I attempted to categorize my words. One day, every report I’d made would further my supreme reign, allowing me to return to my beloved home. My cock ached at the thought alone.

Some called me a madman, a few even using the term ‘monster.’ Others said I was a brilliant scientist, albeit incapable of understanding humanity.

I couldn’t care less what others thought, those who believed that humans were the supreme being. We’d been taught a valuable lesson on the day the Volkodans had arrived. No one had listened to me within the ranks of NASA or while working with the greatest minds of the Earth Federation, something the naysayers would soon regret. I’d heard the chatter of other beings, their frequencies caught on very specialized equipment. I’d known of the possibility of facing aliens while stationed on this hell-hole. While that particular attribute was out of my comfort zone, I’d paid certain astronomers very well to provide me firsthand information.

Unfortunately, they’d become far too greedy.

At least they’d provided me with the coordinates of the downed alien vessel, their crippled battleship crash-landing in the middle of the most dangerous section of Bellenia. Everything was far too reminiscent of Area 51 on Earth from two centuries before, the location now nothing more than an aging tourist attraction. While some of our greatest minds had closed the book on alien contact or even learning from them, I’d forged on, hungering for their knowledge.

I was a man destined for greatness. I knew exactly what this particular alien race was capable of, and their special attributes. A moment of rage filtered into my system until I took four deep breaths, the exercise I’d learned years before in an effort to calm the beast within.

“You need to control your rage, Major General, or you’re never going to move up in the ranks.”

So said the great psychologist I’d been required to visit on several occasions. As if the woman knew anything about me.

I wasn’t angry, merely a calculating man. However, revenge was sweet indeed.

The last few months had been fascinating to say the least. Gaining their trust hadn’t been easy, but well worth the time and investment. They certainly hadn’t taken to the projects the Federation required, their actions growing more hostile every day. They had no idea who they were dealing with. Now I was ready to strike. Learning about their scientific advances, the cargo they’d attempted to hold in secrecy had been the icing on the cake.

The only fury I’d experienced was tangling with the Volkodan commanding officer. Draziak Zecon had pushed me too far, even threatening more than once. I’d let his caustic attitude go for far too long. Now he would pay.

Except... I wanted the alien prick to suffer in ways he couldn’t begin to comprehend. Death was too easy and far less painful than what I had in mind. My emotions shifted into happiness, close to sheer joy, allowing me to laugh out loud.

I’d always been considered a game player; a man who appreciated high stakes poker and roulette.

What I had in mind was more like Russian roulette.

The thought was far too delicious. I pressed the record button, taking a deep breath before I spoke.

“There have been significant advances in the various experiments, although to date, zero successes with regard to human and alien sexual contact. It would also appear there is some concern amongst our ranks of what could occur, creating dissention. I have been forced to take certain extreme measures, eliminating what I consider threats to the great work being performed by our scientists.”

I stopped the recording, attempting to keep a tone of disgust from my voice. The project had been sanctioned under two different premises. One, learning about their capabilities in an effort to strengthen our military, possibly gaining insight into methods of curtailing the continuing catastrophic effects of global warming and nuclear disaster. Two, an attempt at cross breeding. That one was laughable. Some crazed scientist actually had believers on the Federation Council, insisting that the two species were compatible. Hell, I had a feeling even their beloved planet of Tretonia was being targeted for colonization.

Not that I cared. I had my sights set on something much more fruitful.

What the glorious government officials had yet to learn was that the Volkodans’ planet was also in peril. I’d learned that through countless hours of pretending I gave a damn about them. Still, I played our Federation’s game while performing the tasks I’d planned.

Hell, I’d cajoled, threatened, and even punished several of my female soldiers, all in a futile attempt to force their surrender to the Volkodans. Then my own officers had intervened, threatening me of all people. It would seem that I’d selected the wrong men to serve as my counsel. That would end today. What I had in mind was the perfect adjunct to bridging the two entirely different scientific projects.

And no one would be the wiser as to my true intentions.

  Or all that I’d learned.

Until it was too late, Earth bowing at my feet, begging me to help them out of their certain demise. I took a deep breath, sheer joy burning into my system.

  Time to clean house.

“While I’ve been hesitant to utilize the commander of their ship, I have absolute confidence that his particular abilities, as well as his desire for absolute domination will provide an entirely different outcome. As far as the human selected, she is of the utmost desirable characteristics, likely to further enable Commander Zecon to fulfill his... required duties.”

Yes, this was entirely too delicious, perfect in every way, although what I’d proposed had created animosity amongst the ranks. The very same Federation officials who’d mandated the projects actually believed the basic propaganda they’d been force fed—alien life is important, sacred. They wanted the Volkodans to be allowed their freedom, going on their merry little way, even if the mating process hadn’t been successful. ‘Develop friends for the future,’ I’d been told, even allowing certain prestigious human citizens to travel to their planet when absolutely necessary. I was having none of that bullshit. The Volkodans would remain our prisoners. Well, at least some of them.

  For now.

Did I worry another Volkodan battleship would arrive, invading our outpost in an effort to retrieve their soldiers? Or worse? Perhaps. Then again, I wasn’t certain I’d mind. I was prepared to prove my worth.

I laughed at the thought, knowing some of my most loyal soldiers were already in the process of gathering the majority of the adjunct Volkodan personnel. Soon, they would be exterminated, leaving only the few warriors as well as the commander. I had other requirements for Zecon’s finest men.

Yes, it was time to bring this portion of the project to a close. I was almost giddy with anticipation for the next chapter. While I was consid
ered a heartless man, merciless in every manner, lately there were some who believed I’d gone too far, especially with my latest human specimen. In my mind, the choice was perfect in every way.

However, I would remain cautious, eliminating anyone who attempted to get in my way. I couldn’t have them talking behind my back.

I thought about Draziak, my anger forcing my blood pressure to a dangerous level.

The great alien commander believed himself to be better than all humans, refusing to acknowledge a single weakness. I’d found one. I chuckled at the thought, rubbing my jaw. He appreciated beautiful human women and one in particular, his eyes never leaving her when they were in close proximity. My plan? Break down his walls then see just how primal he truly was.

The rest of the experiment would require my patience.

“To that end, the experiment will begin immediately. If successful, both subjects will be injected with a drug erasing their memories, the alien beast placed in stasis for an extended period of time. Additional studies will be performed as necessary.” I studied the screen, satisfied with what had been reported. As if I gave a shit what anyone else thought of my special project. I was in charge.

  I was the leader.

I knew exactly what was needed for our world and our future.

And anyone who failed me would face my wrath.

It was once said that monsters would rule the Earth. I mused at the thought, pulling the crystal glass closer to my lips, savoring the rich aroma of aged scotch. I rarely indulged in a substance that would alter my brainwaves, but on this day, I was celebrating.

A new world was about to begin, and soon I would be honored as a true king.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” Colonel Withers demanded as he stormed into the room. “This project of yours has gone completely off the rails. My God. What the fuck are you doing rounding up dozens of the Volkodans like cattle?”

I bristled yet held my tongue hearing the terse words from the colonel. He’d never really been a team player, merely a man who was dead set on following rules and regulations. Fuck that. Fuck the government and to hell with the military.
