Ashes of Eden

Behind the man-made facade of the drains somewhere on the island lay one very small, very innocuous bricked over room. Raziel hadn't been briefed on what lay inside, except to be warned it could not fall into human hands.

As excavations were continuing there and constant setbacks hadn't thwarted the desire to keep searching, whatever it was needed to be removed before the humans or demons started thinking bigger than what was already being dug.

As the small boat was brought around to anchor safely, he glanced over at Baylin, spotting the eager anticipation on her face. Shaking his head, he reached for her hand, feeling her curl her fingers tightly around his and give them a reassuring squeeze. Whatever was hidden below, they'd face it together.

“Ready, darling? Time for us to save the world. Again.”

  About The Author

Mandi resides in Ohio, where she shares her workspace with an ornery bassle pup. She's an avid reader and blogger, who adores music. Whenever there is a concert in town, you can bet she's taking the night off and cheering on her favorite bands. She can easily be bribed with peanut butter M&Ms, gemstones, hot lead singers, and gargoyles. :)

  Acknowledgments

First, to Joan. You brought Raziel to life for me and helped urge me on to get his story told. Your love for him made him what he is today. For Meg, who put up with me and helped figure out locations and artifacts for this crazy quest, who let me toss insane ideas at her until things stuck. Thank you both so much.

To family and friends- your constant support and understanding while I'm knee-deep in deadlines has made all the difference. Knowing I'm not walking this journey of ups and downs alone helps me to see the bigger picture and not get stuck in the weeds. I appreciate you more than you know.

To Michelle, Li, Autumn, and all the authors who have given me a chance and helped me grow... it means so much that you guys are there, that if I get stuck or need a break, you're the first ones to make things better. I love you all dearly and couldn't imagine my life without you.

To everyone who reads, reviews, and shares it. Thank you! You will never know how appreciated you truly are. And thanks to Soxsational Cover Art for making my words shine.
