It was in fact, an insurance created by old fairy elders to protect humans. Sinister was not sent to preserve the fairy magic. He was sent to destroy abusing fairies and anyone around who knows of the magic chest, and its power good or bad. Most fairies wipe themselves clean of magic and live magic free away from the common lands. The fairies were aware of how addictive the magic was to them and their spirit. Peeva's ancestors were one of them. She lived in the woods in a small cabin with her family. Peeva's grandmother was well aware of the history Sinister had with the fairies, but Peeva did not believe in him or her. To her, Sinister was an old tale her grandmother told her to keep her from misbehaving. Even when Peeva found the chest, she still did not believe in that tales. An evil force that killed all who took on this magic for their evil will against humans. It was her birthright and her magic to use. NO one could take it away, not even sinister. "So you arrive here in despair over your husband, but not a bit of grievance for the ones I have taken. You don't care about the people of the common lands. All you care about is yourself and your little family. What makes you any different than I?" says Peeva to the Queen as she positioned herself on her horse. "You are right. I am not here for the people you harmed or took away from their family. I am not as insightful as I need to be. Most of the people you took were troublemakers and thieves, but some of them were wives and children. I thought there was reasoning, but a blind eye to a friend, I guess does no one any good". The Queen rides off and vanishes into the dark. Peeva watches her as she rides away. She was disappointed in the reaction that the Queen gave her, but there was no remorse for any of it. "Peeva is what is she saying true? Did you use magic on the people in the common lands? You must return it at once. You have a daughter. You have a child" says Abbe as he walks up from behind her after overhearing the conversation with the Queen. He had also heard of the old tale but was one to turn his head to many things. "I do have a daughter, who will reign as I have in these lands. Abbe, do not worry. How about we go in and get dinner started before it gets too late" saying Peeva. Abbe was very much in love with Peeva. For a long time, he was not aware of the magic Peeva was using. He knew it would come a time; he could not deny her evil. He wanted to believe his instinct, but he was much more willing to believe his wife was a perfect woman in every way even though she was deceitful. Abbe wanted to continue to live in make believe. He wanted to keep feeling she was no witch or fairy; she was not using fairy magic. She was his wife, and the mother to his daughter Delilah, and right now that was all he wanted to think or believe. As they walk into the cabin. Peeva is unaware she and her family were being watched. The watcher was sent to make things right before Sinister arise. These eyes with two different colors watched Peeva and listened for many days.

  Chapter 13: Demelza summoned.

Peeva is unaware that her daughter will be the first he catches to be slaughtered. Sinister never had any mercy for abusers. Demelza, some consider her the mother-nature to fairy magic. She was not good nor evil. She seemed to examine the case and fix what is wrong, back to its normal state. Instances like this one, black magic and fairies have a long history. Fairies are almost extinct. One of the reasons behind this madness is that their own powers hypnotize so many of them. They use them not to keep things in order. They used their skills to taunt, mean, and hateful to humans and other fairies. Fairies are peculiar creatures; they seem to appear weak to bullies and scoundrels. Cantankerous people often taunted fairie. No matter if these people harmed fairies the elders felt that no fairy shall use their magic to evoke evil will against a person of innocent blood, or human blood. Even fairies of half human blood shall not be harmed. Demelza knew that anytime, Peeva was a danger to all humans and half fairies.

  The Elders

Demelza returned to the Elders and reported her findings. The elders ordered Demelza to issue a treaty to Peeva banishing her from using magic on any humans and half fairies. The Elders knew that Peeva would not sign this treaty at will, so they told Demelza that if Peeva did not sign this agreement. He dear sweet daughter would suffer the same fate as the missing had. Demelza was well aware of the time she had left; she kept an hour glass that dropped a speck of sand every minute of the day. After all the sand had spilled to the bottom, there would be no time left. Sinister would arrive and completely destroy all who knew fairy magic existed. Demelza was compelled to ask more questions of her Elders. She decides to kneel down with her head on the floor and asks "My Elders in command, I have my sand in the glass. It tells me I have only a day and a half to convince Peeva to relinquish her powers. I wish not to battle with Sinister, if she does not surrender within a day, will it be under your command that I leave at once without a minute to spare?" The Elders all understood the importance of Demelza. They gave her permission to use magic and return to their cave before the last of the sand drops. Demelza knew she had no time to spare, so she rushes to the common lands. Demelza spots Peeva walking around into town as if she did not have a care in the world. She decides to head deeper into the woods. She needed to gather the others. She was unexpected met by the King Supreme Venustas of the Fairies and his wife, Bestla Venustas. Bestla was not of fairy blood that anyone knew. She has no history of family around. She had two daughters with Supreme that were half fairy. Their first daughter Oila was strong and centered. Their second daughter Amara, she was a sight. She was a beautiful fairy girl. She had an aura about her. Her energy was intense, but she had a soft spot for people, all kinds of individuals. She was too trusting. Demelza was intrigued by the whole family. They lived in a castle in the woods. Rarely seen with any contact with humans, fairies, or half fairies. They had their world, and she grew sad that she would have to take the king away to fight a war that would probably kill him. "Demelza, what brings you here? Wait, Bestla take the girls to the palace at once" says Supreme. Bestla gathered the girls and walked them to the palace. Bestla was concerned, but she did as he requested. Demelza bows her head. "Supreme, I am deeply sorry. We must prepare for battle. Peeva has summoned the being. We must get the rest ready" Demelza looking at Supreme knowing she must not tell him, he may never return to see his wife and daughters ever again. "Do not charm me; I am well aware of Sinister. This is a battle that will take us all. My children will be fatherless, but I must keep them and all of the fairy magic protected" he says. He continues "Peeva has roamed these woods and common lands with no regard for the consequences. I hated I was ordered by the Elders not to interfere." Demelza was motionless as she listened to the King of the fairies give orders to retrieve the last of the fairy army. He went on to discuss the important of keeping his children and wife safe. Demelza explained to King Supreme the importance of time and that a treaty was given to her by the Elders for Peeva to sign. Supreme grabbed the treaty and read it from top to bottom. He uttered "She will not sign this." Demelza explained that if she did not the Elders threatened to take Delilah, Peeva's only daughter. Supreme did not believe the elders would harm an innocent child unless that child were practicing evil magic. Supreme looks at Demelza and asks if the daughter Delilah had been practicing. Demelza slowly says yes. She did not want to endanger the child. Even though the daughter enjoyed corrupt nature, Demelza believed she would change with age. Supreme asked Demelza time to speak with his family. He wanted to spend a few hours with them alone. Demelza explained the importance of time but knew that she shouldn't interfere. Demelza runs to the center of the woods. There was a magical lake where all fairies were attracted; it gave them strength and peace of mind when they needed it. The pond seemed to grant wishes of the pure of heart. It was a place of magic and nothing more. Demelza went to the pond and decided to grab a taste; it was so tempting. She stopped once her hands touched the water. She saw the eyes of a gentle fairy, Maggie. Maggie was the mother of fairy army. She had over 100 sons, and no daughters. Maggie rose from the water and smiled at Demelza. Maggie was an older woman; she had white hair and big brown eyes. "Nope, you will not drink from here" Demelza smiled. She knew Maggie's warn
ing was that of love. Demelza turned after she felt a breeze, she saw all of Maggie's sons. They were all dressed and ready for battle. Demelza turned back to look at Maggie, letting her know that none of her sons will return. Maggie smiled and said, "It is their duty." Demelza knew she must not waste any more time. She rushes through the woods. The young men follow circling the small woods. King Supreme joins them as they all circle the home of Peeva.

Chapter 14: Sinister could not wait

Demelza knew she did not have much time. She needed to approach Peeva before Sinister arrived. Demelza knew she had to find a way to meet up with Peeva. When the early morning came, she watched Peeva walk her daughter to school. She decided to introduce herself, but only in a way Peeva would understand. As Peeva and her daughter walked the trail, Peeva could sense someone was near her. In a rush of a second, Demelza walked in front of them. "Hello, Peeva" before Peeva could answer Delilah asks "Mom, who is she?" snobbish like her mother. "Your mother is my friend. I am what we call a witch hunter. Sinister will be here soon to take you and your mother away" Peeva was struck by the awkward feeling she had. "Yes, my dear daughter this is my friend. It has been a long time. Your name?" Peeva was not prepared in her mind to ration out that Sinister existed. She believed it was only a tale. She immediately changed her mind when a woman she felt was a stray, but possessed the same aura as her grandmother speaks in such a way, she knew it was true. The only lie was a witch hunter. "Demelza" as Demelza spoke Peeva began to lose all train of thought. She was so afraid for her daughter. "Demelza, would you mind if I walk my daughter to school? My house is just along this trail, wait there outside, and I will be back shortly" Peeva was not prepared and could not think of a better meeting place than her home. Demelza agreed. Demelza walked along the trail but stops and looks at her hour glass. Most of the sand had dropped to the bottom. She assumed that around midnight there would be no time left. Demelza knew she had time before Peeva returned, so she decided to walk farther into the woods. She was met by King Supreme and the fairy army. She discussed with them the time they had left, and that Peeva would be home in a few minutes. Demelza told them Peeva seemed scared, and she believed that Peeva would sign the treaty. Demelza decides to leave to meet Peeva; she was in good spirits that it would all be over soon. No blood spilled on the ground was all she wanted. As she walks Demelza pulls out the sand of glass, just look at it one last time. She placed it in her pocket and not in her bag. She walked to the entrance of the cabin; she could feel this eerie sensation. Demelza held the remains of dust in her hands because she knew there was no more time. Since the intense arrival of Sinister magically caused the glass that held the sand to break. Demelza was tormented with fear because she knew that once all the sand spilled Sinister would come. She was in torment; the army was nowhere around, and Peeva had not arrived to sign the treaty. Peeva eyes Demelza pacing around with a face of pure horror. "Hurry, you must sign this now. Sinister will be here soon. This agreement will protect your daughter and return all your magic" Demelza was so afraid she did not care that Peeva's husband Abbe was around to hear. Peeva rushes Abbe along and asks him to run into town. He did not wonder; he just went along with what she asks. Peeva snatches the treaty from Demelza hand. "How do I know this is true? You are not here to fake me". Demelza feels the eerie feeling again, but this time it was closer. Peeva felt it too, and they both sat and stared at a sight in the woods. It was a terrifying sight. It was pure black; it had cover half the sky and the ground. There was darkness spreading all through the woods. Peeva was in complete fear. She pricks her finger with her teeth and signs the treaty in her blood. The deal was sealed, and it vanished. Demelza felt an exceedingly tormented spirit, and she knew she could not stay. Demelza knew that the spell she was about to use would take her away and most of her memory would be lost. She was not prepared to fight Sinister, so she used it. With tears in her eyes, she knew that her job had been done. She also knew that King Supreme and the fairy army would be gone forever. Demelza used the spell, knowing most of her memory would be lost until Sinister arrived again. Demelza hoped that Delilah was safe, as day became night. Peeva watched as a teary-eyed Demelza vanished in front of her. Peeva was struck with an overwhelming fear. She had given up her powers and what she saw coming was so evil, she wished she could erase all she had done. Sinister had arrived in a nature fall beyond evil. He stood as a man, but on two high-end legs like a dog a well-trained dog. There was nothing female about it. He had the face of a serpent, skin of a nasty swap, and eyes of a creature Peeva has never seen before. He was a giant, he was over six foot tall, as he walked through trees the land died. "I could not wait to meet the fool. The evil soul that did believes in me. I wanted to show you that I, I am something to be feared" his voice in whispers but had the sound of possessed evil spirits. Sinister was amused that he evoked terror on the very soul who did not believe in his consequences. Peeva was paralyzed, but she knew at that moment, she had brought this on herself. She closed her eyes, because what she feared could not be what would happen. As she was prepared to take her last breath. She hears an angry man's voice "Sinister, I am King Supreme, and with me the fairy army. Do not touch her, Sinister! She signed the treaty the seal has branded my skin". Sinister did not care. He wanted to taste the blood of the woman who dared to cross him. Sinister did not see that he was there to protect magic. He saw himself as a God. He was sent to destroy, and that was what he was going to do. Supreme knew that he was in for a huge battle, one he would have to fight Sinister for his life. He did not want to in his heart for a woman he knew did not deserve his loyalty. He knew he had to fight for his daughters, who had not known magic or the evils it brought. Sinister ignored King Supreme and grabbed Peeva by her neck and ate her limbs spitting it out with flames. Her blood spilled on the ground, as Sinister tore into her abdomen and spilled her intestine on the dry soil. Peeva was still alive, but she was not forgiven. Sinister looks up and smiles, the army nor Supreme had not made a move. Sinister held in his hands the remains of a once powerful and evil fairy. He took a bite out of the head, and he enjoyed every bite of her skull, then he grew tired and pulled Peeva heart out her body and smashed it in his hands. The blood oozed in through his massive claw-like hands. He threw her remains to the ground. Peeva's remains laid on the soil, blooded, and with Peeva eyes still open. He wanted to destroy every part of life Peeva had. King Supreme knew that Sinister was not done, he wanted more. Sinister was after Peeva's daughter Delilah. King Supreme could not stand for the same punished to be bestowed on a young child. He and the fairy army rushed in. They all crowded the evil being, forcing him into a battle. The fight was long; most all the fairy soldiers were beaten, bloodied with missing arms and legs. Supreme stood the strong and continued fight. He wounded Sinister in the arm and both legs. Sinister did not believe he could be harmed. The fairy army had wounded him, causing him to fall to the ground. He was powerful and great. Sinister grabbed King Supreme by his waist and torn him in half. Sinister was looking for blood, noticed there was none. It was then he realized he killed the top fairy. Sinister was in great pain. The wounds from the battle had worn him down. Sinister knew he must retreat. Sinister roars in the air, clearing the sky of all darkness as he vanishes with it.
