Delilah was heart-broken, Amara had Loki and Hale. Her one true ally was the enemy the whole time. She ran and ran as fast as she could. She did not notice she was running in circles. All of the sudden the darkness cleared. She could see the palace ahead of her. She runs home all muddy and sweaty. As she walks closer, she sees the worst of her fears.

Chapter 18: Death is not certain of Sinister

Abbandon had been roaming the lands for many years. He did not obey the rules given to him. He was a malevolent spirit. He feared no evil because he was the evil to be feared. Abbandon was once a man with his own family. He was one of a kind, a pure born warlock. His father, his grandfather, and his father before him. All the males in his family inherited this gene. Abbandon disobeyed the orders of his father Cain, who asked him not to kill fairies for sport. Abbandon was a man, with creature instincts. He would sit and wait for the fairies to expose themselves and then attack them. One day, Abbandon followed one of the fairies deep into the lands. He found himself, in a cave with men in capes. They all whispered words he could not understand that he later learned were the words that transformed him into Sinister.

He was cursed by the Elders because they believed his nature to hunt would be an asset to them. His spell would also be a punishment. He was transformed into Sinister, and for many years he searched for a way to be changed back. He learned that if he could find a fairy with a true spirit. He could be altered back to his true warlock form. He went to the Elders and begged them to change him back. The said no. He would plead for many, many years to come. He even wished for his own death. He learned he could not be killed at his own hand. Only a true Elder could kill him. He went on to search for an Elder outside of the ones who had cursed him. He killed and killed, hoping he would be branded and released. As he searched, one day, he became restless and tired of his hunt. He went to the cave while he was still Sinister, and pleaded one last time to be returned. He has turned down again. Instead, when Demelza returned from her first encounter with Amara, she pleaded with the Elders to allow her powers to be sent to the chosen if she did not make it. He knew it was his last chance; he believed if he begged one last time they would change him. What he hoped changed once he went into a rage. He believed if he fought the Elders, they would end his life.

Sadly, Sinister had killed all the Elders, changing everything. Before one of the eldest fairies last breath. He spoke words of one, who was pure, good-hearted, and she would be the last Elder appointed. The last Elder, of the fairy people, was Amara. Amara was the last, killing her meant he would forever be controlled by Elders who no longer existed in this world. When Amara met him, he knew that fighting her to get to Delilah would end only one way. He believed he would hurt his last chance to be free. Abbandon felt as Sinister was fearless and vigorous. No matter how strong, he felt there was no way to intimidate Amara. She was unlike her predecessors. She was unique and kind. A good-hearted soul who protected a person who took most of her young days away from her. Abbandon knew he was not to harm Amara, but he knew to destroy Delilah, he must. Even if it ruined any chance of him becoming the man who he once was, Abbandon, the son of Cain.

Chapter 19: Where is Abbe, Bestla, and Oila?

As Delilah walks into the entrance of the palace. She notices it was wrecked as if a tornado had been there. Delilah rushed upstairs hoping to find her father alive. She ran into his room, but when she went into the room, she did not see him. She runs all over the room checking under the bed, then running to Oila room. No sign of Oila, Abbe or Bestla. Delilah falls to the ground. She knew for sure her father was gone, but she wondered if he could be alive. She feared the worst. She feared that Sinister had taken him along with Oila and Bestla. He father would be used against her. Delilah did not care about Oila or Bestla; her worry was that if Sinister had taken her father. He would use him as a way to get to her. Delilah tried to summon her powers, but she was powerless. She was losing a battle she had not fought. She was angry and mad. She was angry at Amara. She hated her even more because now it seemed she had the only power available to her. Delilah stood up, brushed her dirty rags off, and walked toward her father's room. She ran down the stairs to the old cabin Demelza had stayed in. She walked around, looking for anything that could hopefully give her powers. She searched, but there was nothing there. She sees a white note on the ground and hopes it is a clue. On the paper, it read

  Delilah,

You must change all that was back. If you do not, you will suffer the same fate as your mother. She was killed, and I watched her die. I wish I could have saved her that night, but I hid in the trees. I watched in horror. She was the love of my life. It killed me to watch her die. I watched as she was eaten and torn apart by a being, a thing, it was so powerful, all the army that surrounded him could not stop him. Your mother no matter what she told you learned at the last moments of her life magic should never be abused. My dear Delilah, your mother, died to protect you. Please do her justice and make right, right.

  Love your father,

  Abbe Bash.

Delilah takes the letter, rips it apart and throws it on the ground. Delilah hunger for power led her to be emotionless. She loved her father, but she loved herself more, and there was nothing her dear father could say to her that would change how she felt. Delilah was no fool; she knew that without magic. Sinister would kill her. She had no chance against him alone. Delilah's plan to have the soldiers from the common lands failed. She saw no way of winning. She walked over to the table, and there was a spilled powder substance. She sprinkles some in her hands. Her finger began to disappear; Delilah was impressed. She scooped the rest of the powder into a container. The container seemed as if it were the same container the powder had spilled from. Delilah felt she had the upper hand now. If she were invisible, there was no way Sinister could hurt her now. As Delilah searched to cabin more, she found a dark gray book. Delilah picked up the book. She sat down on the floor to read its pages. Once she opened it, she immediately got an idea. She knew how she could defeat Sinister, destroy Amara, and take over the Common lands as revenge for not helping her.

  Chapter 20: The Battles Begins

Delilah with her new found magic went deep into the woods to explore. She hoped she would meet Amara once again; it would be the perfect opportunity to be rid of her once and for all. She looked around, and she did not hear or see an Ogre or a beautiful woman. She spotted a lake, but she stopped. Delilah was so thirsty. She could not hold herself back from the aroma. She ran towards the water and splashed the water into her mouth. The aroma of the water was of fresh lavender. She taste was so pure, it felt as if it cleanse every part of her it touched. Delilah grabs more water and spills it into her mouth, but this time a disgusting taste was on her tongue. The taste was pure dirt and grime. The lake had magical powers; only to be absorbed by the pure. Delilah was very upset. She felt she had been tricked and it was some sort of witchcraft Amara created. She stands and looks all over the water; she catches a glance of two eyes in the lake. Before she could utter a word, the eyes vanished, as if there had not been there at all, just a reflection of the sun. Delilah still filled with anger walks back up to the solid lands. It was there Amara stood with Loki and Hale fully dressed in men's clothing. Delilah was broken when she saw Loki standing by Amara's side. "What is the matter, Delilah? All that you have done, and I still stand by Amara's side." Loki said strongly. Delilah began to cry and rushed over to Loki's feet and kissed it. "My love, I missed you so much. Please forgive for all that I have done." Delilah spoke with such pity for herself, but she knew the closer she got to Amara. The better chance she had at grabbing her by her throat and killing her. Loki who was very instinctive at this point picked up Delilah and walked her away from Amara. "You must think I am a fool. You have no idea that I can see right through you. Amara is not the enemy. Sinister is, and if you continue to target her. We will leave you to fight him alone." Delilah was frustrated with anger, Loki's loyalty was no longer with her. She pondered if it e
ver was with her. After all, she did use magic to entice him into loving her. He married her under a spell; she understood he was never going to be hers. Delilah could not handle this betrayal. A betrayal, Loki did not know he committed.

Delilah grabbed the knife that was stashed in his belt on his side pulled it out quickly and stabbed Loki in the heart. The blood from Loki's heart slowly poured all over Delilah's hand. The warmed of it gave her great pleasure. As Loki's last breaths were being taken. Amara tried to rush to his aid, but Hale stopped her. Hale rushed to the aide of Loki's bleeding body. The darkness came rolling in as fast as lighting. Loki's held his hand out for Amara to hold, but Hale had grabbed it instead. To him, Loki was now his brother, the family he never had. Delilah watched as Hale rushed to Loki's side leaving Amara alone. Amara was distracted and could not see the eyes of Delilah on her. Delilah had Amara right where she wanted her. Delilah jumped into a run toward Amara. Delilah did not see the darkness surrounding her, and in a flash, Sinister rushed in, reached out his long, lanky arms, tearing through Delilah clothes, and ripped Delilah's heart from her body. Delilah took her last breath, and her body feel to the ground. Sinister held the heart of Delilah, which was still beating. Sinister took pleasure in crushing the heart of Delilah and pouring the blood into his mouth. Throwing the rest on the ground, as Delilah's eyes look lifeless. Sinister stands for a second, glaring at Amara. She was the last Elder, and if he wanted, he could take her life, as well. He had another plan, though, so in a flash, the darkness left along with Sinister, unveiling the lifeless bodies of Loki and Delilah on the ground. Delilah laid with her eyes wide open, still holding the knife she taken Loki life. Even in her last breath, she was still as evil as they come. Amara in tears rushes to Delilah side. She grabbed the knife from Delilah's hand and threw it into the woods. Amara with tears holds Delilah head close to her chest, closing her eyes and wiping her mouth of blood. Hale carries Loki lifeless body to be next to Amara. He lays him down right next to Delilah.

He stands and fights his tears. Over these few days, he had gained and lost so much, but he feared he would always lose. Amara held the heads of both Delilah and Loki in her lap and cried. She was filled with such sadness. She cried as if she was begging for mercy, and with her screams, there were moans of a beast, her eyes, and teeth changed to resemble. No matter how beautiful Amara was, the part of her Delilah cursed would always be there, and now that Delilah was gone, she believed there was no way to reverse the spell. Amara looked up at Hale and cried. He understood her pain; she would carry the beast forever. She would be cursed forever. The beast would always find its way out, especially in her pain. Hale knew Amara's fear, but he knew he needed to be her strength. "Amara, please leave them. We have to gather up and dig their graves. We need to ensure they have the proper burial." Amara shook her head, slowly changing back to her beautiful self. Amara knew she had the power to be human, but her powers could never rid her of the beast forever. Amara still loved Delilah no matter the pain and hurt she caused. She loved Loki with all her heart.

She lost two of the most important people in her life. She wondered about her mother and sister, did they suffer the same fate as Delilah or Loki? Were they still alive? Amara slowly moves the head of Loki and Delilah from her lap and placed them delicately on the ground. "Hale, after we give them the proper burial, we must return to my home. The day I feared for a long time has come. I have to find my mother, and show her I am a beast". Hale nods to agree with Amara. They bury Loki and Delilah next to each other. After all, they were husband and wife.

Amara turns her head down with sadness in her eyes. As Loki pours the last bit of sand on top of Loki and Delilah. Amara hoped that once she returned home, it would all seem as if it were a dream. Delilah would be alive, and Loki would be by her side. Her mother Bestla and stepfather Abbe, would be smiling waiting anxiously to hug her, as her sister Oila, who would not wait, rushes to her side, kisses her cheeks, over, and over, as they both shed tears. The return that Amara hoped for would be more memorable than she imagined. Amara never imagined this sum of all evil had a plan for her. Sinister was in wait, patiently waiting to Amara to arrive, so she could find her mother and sister gone. He wanted her to know that just because Delilah was dead. There was still danger out there, and if she did not do as he asked. He would make her mother, sister, suffer and watch as he kills Abbe the same way he killed Delilah. If Amara would not concede, he would then kill Oila and Bestla the same way. He would snatch their hearts out and eat them in front of Amara. The pain she felt imprinted in her with the memory of their deaths. Sinister for some reason felt that Amara was nothing to fear. He believed he could only use her family to control her. Amara knew that she must prepare herself as she and Hale walked their way through the path, she knew so well. She felt the sense of home approaching and she could not wait. She ran down the trail. When she reached her home, she saw the bodies of the servants spread all over the lands. They seemed to have suffered like Delilah, their hearts torn from their bodies. Their limbs spread all over the lands. Amara was devastated, but she knew if her family were dead. She had to make sure Sinister was destroyed forever.

Chapter 21: Sinister wants to make a deal

As Amara and Hale run through the palace searching for Bestla and the others. Sinister was watching, hoping to make a deal. Sinister had killed all the elders. There was no one alive that could prevent his plan. Sinister had a taste of life when he was Abbandon. He knew what it was like to love, walk on the sand, spell the air without blood in it. He wanted that again, not as Sinister, he wanted to be human. Sinister had not been fully human in many years, since he was cursed by the elders. He planned on using Amara's family as a way leverage. He wanted to make a deal with Amara. He wanted the last known fairy to use magic to bring him back to his true self. The man he was before the smell of dirty fairy blood soiled his hands. He wanted to be his father's son again. He wanted to have his son. Sinister stared into the walls of the darkness. He had no idea that what he wished for would never be. The elders were dead, but Delilah was not. Sinister did not see his fate, because he had killed the Elders. They could have warned him of Delilah trickery. Sinister lie in the dirt of the darkness. Preparing to rest. He was unaware. Delilah was invisible his path. She stood over him smiling to herself. She wanted to burst into laughter, because her plan worked. She, as she always did, outsmarted a demon. Delilah with her hair covered in the soiled dirt stood over Sinister. She watched him as he lay with his eyes open staring into the darkness. She could wait to let him know; he did not succeed in killing her. "Abbandon, you worthless ingrate" uttered the words, she spoke such conviction. To her surprise, Sinister did not move; he lied there still in the darkness. He spoke no words. Delilah paced back and forth. She knew that her spell worked. She did not understand why the creature lied there un-noticing her presence. Delilah looked around in the darkness, but could not see anything. She did smell the rotten stink of dead flesh all around. She looked into the darkness, and she saw what could have been her fate. The death she suffered was nowhere close to the passing of the elders. Delilah realized at that moment, even though Sinister was this creature. He still had the spirit of Abbandon inside of him. A spirit that had been caged and controlled most of its life. Delilah did not feel bad for Abbandon at all. She understood him more than ever. He wanted to be free; she believes she could free him. Delilah kneeled down to the conscienceless creature. She spoke no words. She knew exactly his wish, and what he wanted to desperately to be. Delilah spoke her words over the creature. He did not change; he remained the same. Delilah was puzzled by this change. Sinister seemed not to be aware of her presence. Her words did not affect him. Delilah did not feel this was strange, because her magic had not worked before her death. She was concerned that her power had been lost. She assumed the worse. Was she alive? She did not know the answer. She did not see how she would have the upper hand. Sinister laid in the dark as if he were unconscious. Delilah walked away from the unruly serpent.
She walked down into the darkness, through a pathway, not knowing where it would lead her. She notices she is approaching the end of the path. There were cages with bright lights. She walked closer, and she saw the faces of her father, stepmother, and stepsister. Peacefully resting in the darkness. Delilah with her devious self-knew she had the upper hand over Amara and Sinister. She now had something Amara wanted, her family. Delilah walked back through the path as fast as she could. She did not know if she were spirit or flesh. She spoke her words again. This time she spoke them over her flesh. She felt a sensation. She hastened until she was by the side of Sinister. She grabbed his head and tore it from his body. Delilah walks out of the darkness of the cave into the light of the woods holding the head of Sinister in her hands. Delilah was a different source of magic now. She was no longer in fear of the Sinister, and now she was headed to the Common Lands to get her revenge.
