The Lady and Tay

“Ow! Go slower or let me do it,” she said.
He frowned but moved his hand out of the way, holding her under both shoulder blades and pulsing into her. She moved her hand down and moved in time with him, but softer than he was able to do with the motion of his movement. Round and round the edge of her clit, circling softly, and as she detected him holding his breath, she pressed harder, feeling her own climax building, whispering words of encouragement to him, then as he bucked hard into her, she let go and came as he exploded inside her.
They lay in each other’s arms, catching their breath. “Sorry,” Tay said, gesturing down her body. “I was a bit too full on, wasn’t I? I’ll make it up to you in a bit.”
She smiled at him, “Yeah, although I was wet for you, I still needed warming up a little. We’re still learning about each other, but, you know,” she wriggled her toes and stretched her body, “I’m ready when you are.”
“What? You just came!”
“Yeah, but I don’t have any balls that need refilling. I’m just ready to go quicker. But I’m just gonna go shower and then you can get to it!”
When she returned from her shower, Tay was sprawled across the bed, snoring gently. She raised her eyebrows and smiled at him, shaking her head. She climbed in beside him, nudging him to move over and give her more room. He barely stirred, turning onto his side, so she stretched out and fell asleep herself.
Chapter Fifteen
The next week and a half blurred into a routine of travel, rehearsal, perform, relax, repeat, repeat, repeat. They’d visited various cities along the lower US states and were now looping back towards Phoenix, Las Vegas, and back to LA; the band then flying to New York, while Annie would be flying home. They lived in a strange bubble, veering from hotel luxury dining to tour bus bags of crisps and fuel-stop snacks, none of it seeming real to Annie.
“How do you do this without losing your mind?” she asked Tay and Con, in the seating area of the tour bus.
Con shrugged. “You just get used to it. We’ve been driving to gigs with Adie’s dad since we were 20, and we’ve been doing tours of some sort since we were 25. That’s 20 years on and off, with a bit of a break,” Con nudged Tay, who elbowed him back. Con elbowed in return and it turned into a playfight of two forty-something year old men trying to push each other off the seats.
Sasha joined them from the back and sat next to Annie, shaking her head. “Makes you go crazy, this life.”
“Yeah. I was just asking them about it, and it turned into this.”
“It’s their way of coping! Are you ok? You missing home?”
Tay stopped and sat up, instantly concerned.
Annie smiled at him, “Yes and no. I haven’t been this happy for a long time and it’s all due to this handsome rock star. I’m worried about going home on Friday and leaving you, Tay, but I’ll be glad to see my kids and to stay in one place for a bit. I spent so long thinking I didn’t have a home and I didn’t have people to miss, but it turns out I do now. But then I’m really gonna miss you all when I’m gone. I can’t win.” The tears had built up and escaped with a small sob. “Sorry, don’t know why I’m crying.”
Tay came over and sat next to her, pulling her onto his lap and kissing her head gently. She turned into him, “I can’t bear the thought of saying goodbye. I just wish it was you and me back at the house, with the kids and Will, and these guys coming to stay.”
“I know, I know. But there’s nothing I can do right now to make that happen, sweetheart. I spent so long trying to get myself back on track and in a healthy space to do this tour, and now I just wanna jack it all in and come home with you.”
“You can’t do that!” Annie sat up in alarm. “Ignore me, I’m just being selfish, but you have to stay and do the tour, see your fans, do your thing on stage.”
“Oh, I know. And I love seeing the fans and sharing music with them; that’s what makes it all worthwhile. I’m just venting. We all do it from time to time, but…I’m dreading you going too so it’s…it’s just feeding my anxiety a bit.”
It dawned on Annie that she needed to stay positive so she wouldn’t make Tay feel worse, so she vowed to keep her upset under control from now on. “Ok, well let’s make the most of the next few days, and in three years’ time, these six months will seem like nothing. I’m gonna go to the bathroom and freshen up.”
Tay watched her stand and walk away, feeling a bit hurt that she’d just brushed his comment off about his rising anxiety. He’d opened up to tell her he was feeling it…and nothing.
Con clapped him on the shoulder. “Well done for saying it, dude. You know you can talk to me.”
Tay nodded, “Thanks man, but I thought I could say it to her as well?”
Con shrugged, “You two are still getting to know each other. It’s been, what, nearly two weeks? She doesn’t know how much of a step forward that was you saying that. She doesn’t know that you’ve never been able to acknowledge it building before. Cut her some slack, and yourself.”
Tay rubbed his eyes; he wasn’t used to being around people who didn’t know him inside out. He’d isolated himself for so many years, surrounding himself only by the band, their management, his old school friends and family, well, apart from Lizzie, and he wasn’t used to this period of second-guessing someone, interpreting their actions and words because they didn’t know you and you didn’t know them, and the potential for getting it wrong was huge. The bus pulled in for a fuel-stop and Jez appeared from the front, telling them they had an hour’s break and to get lunch.
Tay pulled on Con’s arm, “Come to the bar with me. I need to talk.”
Con shot a look at Sash, “Sure, let’s go. But if you get me drunk, you’re explaining yourself to my missus.”
Sasha stood with her hand on one hip, head cocked to the side, a stern look on her face. “Try to behave, boys.” She looked at Tay, who hesitated, “Yes, don’t worry, I’ll look after her. Now go and do your male bonding.”
The lads jumped out of the bus and headed towards the ‘Joe’s Bar’ neon sign, while Adie and Hilly emerged from their bunks, and Annie came out of the bathroom.
“Right, the lads need to have a chat, so they’ve gone to the bar. Adie and Hilly, do you want to go and grab us a table in the diner? I just need a quick word with Annie?”
Once they were alone, Sasha sat on the sofa and patted the cushion next to her for Annie to sit. Sasha really liked Annie, but Tay was her friend first and foremost, so her protective words came out a little harsher than she intended. “Annie, I know you and Tay are still getting to know each other, but I just wanted to let you know that Tay did an amazing job earlier of telling you he was feeling anxious and identifying it was the thought of you leaving that was causing it.
“He’s literally never been able to do that before, and I think he was hurt that you didn’t acknowledge his achievement. But Con did remind him you wouldn’t have known it was such a big thing, so I’m sure it’ll be fine. I think he was hoping you’d pick up on his opening and then he could talk to you about it, but you just shut the conversation down because you didn’t realise. He’s gone to talk about it with Con, but I just thought you should know.”
Annie covered her mouth as she listened, the tears springing back into place. “Oh god, no! I…I just felt bad that me getting upset was causing him to feel anxious so I thought if I just put a brave face on it, it would stop his anxiety.”
“It doesn’t work like that. If he’s feeling anxious then he needs to deal with it and talk about it to make it go away. He tried to reach out to you, but you didn’t pick up on it. But he’s with Con now, and maybe you’ll know for next time.”
“Shit. I feel awful now. I’ll go and apologise.”
“No!” Sash felt Con had been a bit abandoned by Tay this last week, so she wanted them to have some time together alone. “Probably best to just let Con help him. Come and get some lunch with me, Adie and Hilly.”
Annie felt sick in her stomach as
they sat in the diner. Tay meant the world to her and she’d just ignored his plea for help. What a bitch. What a stupid, self-absorbed bitch she was. He deserved so much more than her, so much better than her.
She sent him a message, ‘I’m so sorry, Tay. So sorry I didn’t listen, when that is one of the greatest gifts you give to me. You’re a far better person than me and you deserve someone better than me. I love you xxx’. She pushed up to her feet, murmuring “I feel sick,” and walked off to the bathroom.
Sasha watched her and felt a pang of guilt; maybe she’d been a bit too harsh.
Annie splashed water on her face, suddenly needing fresh air. She came out of the bathroom and walked out of the door, turning left to head towards a big lake, instead of returning to the diner.
Tay read her message when he returned from the bar and shook his head, quickly replying ‘No need for sorry – I didn’t explicitly tell you I needed to talk. And don’t be silly, there’s no-one better for me than you. But Con’s put me straight, so all good. I do need a hug from you though. Do you wanna come over here for a drink or shall I come to you?’
Sash saw Annie’s phone flash up with a notification of the message on the table in front of them, and she couldn’t help scanning the first few lines that showed. Shit, she’d gone too far when she’d implied Tay had reached out to Annie and she’d let him down. But where was Annie? She’d been gone a while now.
Sasha picked up Annie’s phone and her bag. “I’m just going to the ladies to check Annie’s ok,” she told Hilly, Adie, Jez and Tams.
She walked into the toilets but none of the cubicles were engaged. She pushed open all of the doors, but she wasn’t in there. She walked back into the diner. No sign. She told the others to call her if she turned up. She checked the car park. Nothing. She asked the driver, but he confirmed he’d not opened the doors for anyone. Maybe she’d gone to the bar? Annie’s phone buzzed again, and she looked down. Another message from Tay, ‘Annie? You ok?’. Shit, she wasn’t with them then.
She drew a deep breath and called Con. “Con, I think I’ve messed up?”
The lads came running out of the bar. Tay grabbed her arm, “Sash, what’s happened? Where’s Annie?”
“Nothing’s happened as far as we know, so just stay calm. But…but I had a little chat with her, and I might have been a bit too defensive on your behalf, and I think she realised she hadn’t listened to you and perhaps that she’d let you down. She wouldn’t eat any food and just said she felt sick. I thought she’d gone to the loo but she’s not there, she’s not gone back to the bus and she’d left her phone and bag on the table. And now she’s disappeared. But she’ll be here somewhere.”
“She hasn’t let me down, Sash, why on earth would she think that? It’s like Con said, we just don’t know each other’s ins and outs yet. What did you say to her?”
“Just that you’d tried to reach out to her but that she hadn’t picked up on the signs, so that she’d know for next time. But I think I was a bit short with her in my tone of voice, sorry.”
“So where the fuck is she?”
“I haven’t checked the lake so shall we try there?”
Tay ran towards the lake, Con and Sasha following behind. He went to the left, so they went to the right, calling her name. As Tay followed the path, he caught sight of her on the grass, her knees pulled up in front of her, her head down. He shouted over to Con, “I’ve got her!”
He dropped down beside her and wrapped his arms around her body, protectively, murmuring that it was ok.
She raised her head slightly, “I’m so sorry Tay. I let you down by not listening to you and you’ve always listened to me right from the moment you saw me. Sasha made it clear there’s so much I don’t know about you, and she told me how major this was for you. I could see you were getting upset at me getting upset, so I thought if I pretended I was ok, pretended us being separated was ok, then you’d be ok. And that’s all I care about. You being ok. I wasn’t good enough for you today, I wasn’t the right person for you today. I’m so sorry.”
“You’re absolutely the right person for me, Annie; never doubt that. We’ve only known each other for less than two weeks. We can’t know everything yet but that’s part of fun of getting to know each other. Yes, I did good today at realising my anxiety so, go me! But you weren’t to know that was a step forward, and it was a step forward because of you. You’ve helped me, Annie, without knowing it. So, stop all this rubbish about letting me down, about not being enough for me because that’s just bullshit. And Sasha shouldn’t have made you feel bad about any of this.”
He lifted her chin and wiped her tears away, smiling. “God, you’re so beautiful. I’m so lucky to have you in my life.”
“Even with my red eyes and snotty nose?”
“Yeah. I’d do you! In fact, I’m gonna pick you up, take you back to my cave and ravish you right now.”
“What? Oh!”
Tay stood, helped Annie to her feet, putting his arms protectively around her as she nestled into his neck, kissing his scratchy jawline with his few days’ old stubble. Her touch, her breath warming his skin and her physical presence in his arms gave him an instant erection and she grinned, stopping to kiss him and flex her hips slightly against him before they carried on walking back to the bus.
They walked past Adie, Hilly, Con, and Sasha, who started to speak, but Tay just held a hand up and strode on, grabbing Annie’s phone and bag from Sash as he passed. He called over his shoulder, “Make some noise when you come in, all of you, and make it loud.”
The driver opened the doors for them, and they walked through the seating area to the bunks. Tay shut the door behind them and tried to throw Annie down onto a lower bunk, but she kept her arms locked around him, so he toppled down on top of her, both laughing loudly.
“Lady Annabel Spencer, I fucking love you and I fucking fancy you, so now I’m going to do you like I promised. That ok?”
“Perfectly ok, Taylor fucking Anderson.”
It was a ridiculously small and narrow bunk to try and get two people into, but after flinging their clothes off, they managed to twist so Annie had her back against the outside wall of the bus, with one leg hooked up under the knee over Tay’s body, and Tay leaning into her. They kissed passionately, swirling tongues and exploring the contours of each other’s faces with their fingers.
Annie moved her fingers lower, exploring his neck, shoulders, chest, stroking the skin and dragging a nail over him to watch the white and red marks she made on him.
Tay bent his head and nipped her neck as she arched her body into him. He dipped one hand down and entered two fingers inside her, pulling out and sinking his erect cock into her instead as she moaned in delight.
He raised his fingers to her mouth. She hesitated slightly before opening her lips to allow him to put his fingers into her mouth. She sucked hard and swallowed, contracting her tongue against his fingers, maintaining eye contact at all times. Once they were clean, he trailed his fingers down her body, pausing to circle each breast and flick at the nipples. Down, over her belly, down, gently between her legs, lightly circling round her clit as they kissed.
Annie ran her palm over Tay’s shoulder, loving the feeling of him being inside her, filling her up. She felt so right with him. She felt the tears prickle again, but he shook his head, “No, no more tears.”
“Yes Sir.”
“Don’t you forget it, m’lady.”
She smiled and moved her fingers up his neck, caressing the back of his head, feeling the tingle starting to grow around her clit. She moaned softly and shut her eyes, but he growled “Look at me, I wanna see you.”
He increased his pressure just slightly, flexing his cock inside her, and it sparked the fire inside her. “Oh god, yes! Just there, more, harder, please Tay?”
He grinned wickedly, increased his pressure and bent his head, kissing her neck, her chest, flicking at her nipple with his tongue, watching it harden and blowing on it, nuzzl
ing her breast with his nose. He felt her body tighten under him and then she came, her body shaking and her tight pussy contracting around his cock, greedily pulling him in to her, as she called out his name.
God, he loved this. God, he loved her. She made him feel on top of the world when he helped her come like this.
He held her close as she came down, her breath and her curls conspiring to tickle him, but he wasn’t moving and breaking this moment for anything.
Her eyes came back to his, her grin matching his as she flexed her hips against his straining cock inside her. “Your turn,” she whispered.
He pulled out and shuffled out of the bunk, standing up. “Turn over and spread your legs,” he ordered.
She complied, turning her head to look back at him over her left shoulder. He climbed back into the bunk, hitting his head at least twice, lying between her legs and resting on one elbow to guide his cock into her pussy as she lifted her hips to give him better access. He lay on top of her, kissing her shoulder blades and hooked his forearms under her shoulders, propped up on both his elbows.
“Is this ok?” he asked.
“Yep,” she grinned back at him, loving the feel of his weight on her, holding her body to him. He was kissing all over her back as he began moving, and she pressed her top half flat into the bed, trying to lift and push her hips back into him.
“Fuck, fuck, Annie, oh fuck!” he called out to her.
She could feel his breath, the warmth burning into her skin, feeling the pinch of his fingers grasping her shoulders, and she reached behind her to grab an arse cheek as he pounded into her, the pair of them moving as one until he finally exploded, shouting as he came inside her. He collapsed down, crushing her with his weight while he caught his breath.
Eventually he groaned, “I don’t wanna move, ever.”
“Hmmm, think you’re gonna have to at some point!”
He huffed and slowly pulled out, both of them laughing at the squelchy noises elicited. “Right, do you wanna shower and then I know it’s a film, but shall we cosy up in the tv room at the back? Some of the others might want to join us, but you can read or snooze cuddled up to me?”
