Hack: Silver Saints MC

He sent me updates from time to time. If things were too quiet, I took care of that shit in no time. One of the guards was a brother, and another had a sister who was the old lady of a Silver Saint. Then there were the guys I knew on the inside. I definitely hadn’t had any trouble making John Clark’s life a living hell in there.

Because he was a dirty cop, they’d put him in protective custody, but then the warden got a tip that he was selling contraband, which was hidden all over his cell. So they moved him to gen pop, and he certainly didn’t have any friends there. He couldn’t even buy protection by becoming someone’s bitch. Not that they didn’t let him audition for the role before beating the shit out of him.

I glanced at my woman sleeping peacefully with our little girl nestled in her womb. It was time to take care of this shit and make sure our baby was born into a world without that motherfucker in it.

Caleb, my contact, and the guard who was a patch, sent me updates once a month. But he also checked in with me weekly for one reason. He always asked if I wanted to send anyone a message, and I always responded with a no.

This time, I sent back a number. It belonged to a very specific inmate who was ready to act when I gave him the green light.

The next morning, I received another text from Caleb. “Done.”

“I can’t believe Hack let you out of the house.” Lucy took a sip of her wine, stretching her legs out underneath the corner booth we’d nabbed at the bar owned by the Silver Saints.

“Maybe he needed a break,” Bridget teased before taking a gulp of her margarita—which I eyed with envy.

Harlowe laughed, almost spitting out her drink. “Like you’re any less horny than the rest of us when you’re pregnant.”

Lucy tilted her head to the side and tapped her finger against her chin. “That’s probably why we had Alice and Kate so close together. Dom missed all the extra sex he got when I was pregnant.”

“Nah.” Harlowe shook her head. “None of our guys need any help getting us into bed.”

“Or on any flat surface,” Bridget agreed.

“Vertical ones too sometimes,” Lucy giggled.

I rubbed my swollen belly and smiled. It shouldn’t be possible, but I was pretty sure that I was even hornier with this pregnancy than I had been with Lexi. “Hack never needs a break, no matter how needy I am when I’m pregnant.”

Bridget grinned back at me. “I swear, it’s as if one of the requirements to prospect the Silver Saints is that you have to be insatiable once you find your old lady.”

“Maybe you should ask the president if it is,” I jokingly suggested.

“Hmm.” Bridget wagged her brows. “I just might do that since I’d probably earn a spanking at even the slightest hint that I’ve been thinking about any of the guy’s sex lives.”

“I vote you do it. Take one for the team in case he actually answers,” Lucy suggested.

“Save a motorcycle, ride a biker!” Harlowe lifted her glass in the air, and we all clinked our drinks against it. Our loud laughter drew the attention of a group of guys sitting at a booth on the other side of the room. One of them called the waitress over and pointed at our table. She glanced over her shoulder at us, her eyes going wide before she turned back to them and shook her head.

“There goes the rest of our girls’ night. I think those guys are trying to order us a round of drinks,” I grumbled, pointing at the black domed camera on the ceiling behind the bar. “And I’m sure Hack has his eyes glued to a screen watching the video stream from the bar now that Lexi is asleep.”

“Ah, well. At least we got an hour,” Harlowe sighed before downing the rest of her drink.

Bridget nodded. “I guess we can’t complain too much. At least we had enough time to enjoy a cocktail. The other girls didn’t even get that much.”

“And I got to pretend that I had an adult beverage.” I slurped down the rest of my kiddie cocktail before fishing out a cherry and biting off the stem.

Harlowe jumped off her chair. “The guys aren’t here yet. I’m going to grab us another round.”

Lucy and Bridget finished off their cocktails while Harlowe headed over to the bar. Although we didn’t spend a lot of time here, all the employees knew who we were. The bartender held a finger up to the customer he was speaking with and walked away to see what Harlowe needed. He poured our drinks before moving back toward the other customers. Lucy jumped up to help Harlowe carry them over to our table. I clapped my hands together and bounced in my seat when I saw the stack of cherries pierced by a plastic sword set on top of the ice of my drink. “Gimme.”

Harlowe laughed as she handed the glass over to me. “Yeah, you looked like you could eat about a dozen of those, so I told the bartender not to be so skimpy this time.”

“Thanks.” I grinned before tugging one of the cherries off the sword to eat it. I’d only made it halfway through them when I heard the rumble of bikes outside. A couple of minutes later, four hot men strode into the bar. I only had eyes for one, though. And he was all mine.

“Hey, baby. You ready to head home?” Hack asked, bending low to give me a deep kiss before turning to glare at the group of men who’d tried to order drinks for us. The other guys similarly claimed their women, making me giggle and roll my eyes.

“Sure, my sexy stalker.” I scooted to the edge of the booth, and he helped me up. “Let’s get home so we can let whichever prospect got stuck sitting in our living room in case Lexi woke up off the hook.”

His lips pressed together, and I giggled, knowing that it had to have driven my husband up the wall to leave our house while our toddler was asleep in her room. Hack trusted his brothers with his life without question, but he hated to leave his little princess or me in anyone else’s hands but his own. I’d had to do some creative begging—on my knees—to get him to agree to this night out in the first place. His protective instincts went on overdrive when I was pregnant, but knowing I would be in a bar owned by the Silver Saints, and he could use the security videos to watch me the whole time, had helped convince him.

Link went to toss some cash on the table, but Mac beat him to it. There would normally be a pissing contest to see who would pay, but not when the Silver Saints’ president was involved. The other guys grumbled and wrapped their arms around their women. We walked out of the bar as a group, and I sighed when I saw the gleaming black truck parked next to the trio of motorcycles. “One downside to pregnancy is not being able to wrap my body around yours while we ride.”

“You’ll be on the back of my bike soon enough. When it’s safe again.” Hack helped me into the truck and buckled me in.

I waited until he’d rounded to the driver’s side, climbed in, and started the engine. Then I gripped his thigh and squeezed. “That’s okay. I’d rather ride you anyway.”

He slid my hand up to cover the hard length pressed against his zipper. “Any day or time, baby. I’m all yours.”

I took him up on his offer as soon as we hit our bedroom. And again when I woke up. His morning wood never went to waste when I was pregnant.
