ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jason Augustus Newcomb has devoted his life to gaining and sharing an increased understanding of the Western Mystery Tradition, both how it relates to modern consciousness studies, and its relations with other forms of esoteric spirituality. Jason is a long-time initiate of Western Mystery Schools, both visible and invisible, and has explored magic and mysticism in its varied forms for the past twenty-two years… in this incarnation. Jason's goal is to participate in the evolution of humanity in whatever small way Divine Providence has ordained for him. He is devoted to helping people expand both personally and spiritually, seeing these as essentially in the same continuum. He is the author of the books: 21st Century Mage, The New Hermetics, and Sexual Sorcery; and has produced an extensive series of audio CDs offering instruction in magical practice and hypnosis. Jason has created numerous CDs that go along with many of the practices in this book. He is also a licensed Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. In his most creative moments he is also a painter, sculptor, novelist, screenwriter and filmmaker. Jason now lives with his wife Jennifer and their one-year-old daughter Aurora in Sarasota, FL.

[2] You can find more information on purification and consecration in my book 21st Century Mage. Also, according to Aleister Crowley, appropriate words in the new aeon for purification are, “pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect,” and for consecration, “I am uplifted in they heart, and the kisses of the stars rain hard upon thy body.” See, Magick: Book 4 Liber ABA, p. 215
