Turn 17

From the Notes of Sherry Sears

File 1108: Seth Sears vs Taylor Dunham.

  Winner: Seth Sears.

  Turn count: 39

Pieces lost: 4 pawns, 1 rook, 1 knight, 1 Bishops.

Outcome: Seth Sears advanced to next round. Taylor Dunham, under mental stress from the public controversy generated after he was outed, only stayed in the game so gracefully because Seth wished to negotiate with them. By game’s end, Taylor agreed to my proposal and would later come and visit me that afternoon, signing over his shares and assets of his short lived flag company.

Since then, Taylor became an unknown to the wide spread public and lives with his family in peace in California. He now works as the manager of a surfing store, living a rather comfortable lifestyle between his earnings and a $10,000 yearly gift from me. While I’ve considered cutting it off, his flag company brings in an estimated 4 million in additional net profits per year; it’s more than fair for me to give him such a paltry sum. I’d consider giving him more if it weren’t for the paper trail and the suspicions it would cast on me.

Case file closed. File to remain closed indefinitely; there is no reason to believe Taylor will become an adversary.
