by Watermelonian, 西瓜星人

Wu Bao was stunned momentarily, then he turned pale as a sheet upon the sudden realization.

His entire body trembled, then took several big steps back. He had an expression of extreme panic.

‘Oh… Oh my god! He’s… He’s that crazy guy!’

Wu Bao was scared out of his wits. He almost burst into tears.

How would he ever forget what happened that night? That kid had taken down all of them singlehandedly. His power was nothing short of terrifying.

After that, he had heard that Boss Chen was wanted by the police because he had crossed the kid. If even a big shot like Boss Chen fell, what chance did small fry like him have?

If he had known that he was about to cross this hotshot, he would not have agreed to it!

His entire body trembled as his heart was filled with panic. Cold sweat rained from his forehead and he cursed that bastard Zhao Changfeng to hell.

The group of hooligans behind him was dumbfounded when they saw their leader in such a sorry state.

‘What’s wrong with him? He was still so arrogant earlier, but why is he so afraid now?’

Zhao Changfeng furrowed his brows. “What are you doing? Shouldn’t you be picking a fight with this kid?”

Wu Bao channeled his anger toward Zhao Changfeng when he heard his voice. “I’ll pick a fight with your sorry *ss!”

After that, he turned around to face Tang Hao again and kneeled on the ground. He kowtowed several times, his head striking the ground like a pestle pounding garlic.

  Chapter 113 - Brother-in-Law’s Awkward Problem

Everyone was dumbfounded when they saw that.

“What are you doing, Big Brother?” The group of hooligans shouted urgently.

They were clueless about what was going on. Their leader had boasted that he was going to humiliate that kid, but he suddenly kneeled in front of the kid. They could not comprehend the sudden plot twist.

Qin Gang, Zhao Changfeng, and the other people were all dumbfounded.

Especially Zhao Changfeng, who did not understand why Wu Bao was so afraid. Did that kid have someone powerful backing him?

“I’m… I’m wrong, Bro… Brother Tang!” Wu Bao stammered as he kneeled on the ground. He sounded like he was about to cry.

He regretted his current situation. He should have known not to trust that bastard Zhao Changfeng.

Now that he had crossed the hotshot, he was utterly finished!

“All of you… kneel down and greet Brother Tang!” He turned around and shouted at the group of hooligans behind him.

The group of hooligans was clueless about what was going on. However, they were intimidated by Wu Bao’s authority. They threw away the steel bats in their hands and kneeled on the ground with a thud. They greeted Brother Tang politely.

‘Is this kid some sort of powerful underworld figure?’ Many of the hooligans were thinking of that.

Even the surrounding onlookers were thinking of the same thing. For a group of hooligans to be so respectful of an individual, that guy had to be some notoriously powerful underworld figure.

Qin Gang was utterly clueless. “Can… someone explain to me what is going on?” He said as he scratched his head.

“Hey, Tang kid, just who are you? Is the hooligan being truthful?” Qin Gang asked Tang Hao.

“Do you want to know what’s going on? How about you ask your friend?” Tang Hao said.

  Qin Gang was shocked.

Meanwhile, Zhao Changfeng’s expression changed drastically.

‘That’s impossible! How does the kid know?’

“What… What do you mean? This has nothing to do with me!” He roared furiously.

Tang Hao smirked. “Aren’t you the one who’s causing all this drama?”

“You’re talking nonsense! You’re framing me! You’re the despicable one and now they’ve found you, yet you’re blaming it on me?” Zhao Changfeng roared, his face becoming more and more vicious.

Wu Bao wiped the sweat off his brow. He became more and more panicked.

He did not expect that the hotshot knew everything.

The Zhao family might be powerful in Westridge District, but they were no match for the hotshot in front of him. Wu Bao considered his options, then stood up and pointed at Zhao Changfeng.

“Brother Tang, he’s the mastermind behind all this. This despicable man, Zhao Changfeng, had ordered me to humiliate you and ruin your reputation. It’s all his idea,” Wu Bao shouted.

  “Whoa!” Everyone exclaimed in surprise.

Qin Gang’s expression changed. He looked at Zhao Changfeng incredulously and said, “Did you really plan all this, Changfeng?”

“How is that possible? Do you believe what a hooligan says, Brother Qin?” Zhao Changfeng was flustered. Then he turned to look at Wu Bao and the hooligans. “You say that I’m the one behind all this, but do you have proof?”

  “Proof? I have it!”

Wu Bao did not hesitate to turn on his friend since he was planning to lose this friendship anyway. He took out his phone and dialed a number.

Very soon, Zhao Changfeng’s phone started ringing.

His entire body trembled and his face turned pale as a sheet.

“Is this proof enough for you? If the two of us are unrelated, why would I have your number? Here, I have the call records too! You can look at it,” Wu Bao said mockingly.

“You… Wu Bao! You dare betray me?” Zhao Changfeng said viciously through gritted teeth.

“Hah! Young Master Zhao, what do you mean by ‘betraying you’? You’ve set up this trap for me, and now you’re receiving the consequences. Don’t you know who this person is? You’re asking me to humiliate him. Aren’t you sending me to my grave?” Wu Bao said mercilessly.

Zhao Changfeng laughed in an unbridled manner. His expression was close to manic. “He? Isn’t he just a boy toy? Don’t tell me he’s some VIP who wields more power than me?”

“You’re right! He’s more powerful than you! You know my previous boss, right? He’s finished because he crossed him.”

Zhao Changfeng was utterly shocked when he heard that.

He knew who Chen Sandao was. Chen Sandao was the terror of Westridge District, but somehow he was wanted by the police and had to run away. No one knew where he was now.

Not many people in the entire Westridge district could do that.

“That’s impossible…” He mumbled as his face displayed an expression of despair.

Qin Gang, standing next to him, looked ghastly. “Changfeng, I didn’t expect you’re such a despicable person. I guess it’s my mistake for calling you a friend.”

He grunted, then walked toward Tang Hao, leaving Zhao Changfeng standing there alone while his face flashed through different shades of white and green.

“Sigh! I didn’t expect that he was that type of person. I must have misjudged him,” Qin Gang shook his head and sighed. Then, he turned and smiled apologetically at Tang Hao. “I’m sorry for misjudging you again!”

  “It’s fine!” Tang Hao smiled.

Qin Xiangyi was the one who rolled her eyes at her brother. “Don’t you trust my judgment of character, Brother?”

“Haha!” Qin Gang laughed awkwardly. “Let’s go. We rarely meet anyway. How about we go to your house and continue our reunion?”

Then, he went toward his car.

Qin Xiangyi held Tang Hao’s hand and walked toward her Ferrari.

“Bro… Brother Tang! What about me?” Wu Bao shouted.

Tang Hao stopped walking and waved his hand. “You can go now! Don’t do this next time!”

“Yes, yes! Thank you, Brother Tang! Have a safe journey home!”

Wu Bao bowed deeply at him, then he turned to shout at the group of hooligans behind him. “Aren’t you all sending Brother Tang off too, you idiots?”

The group of hooligans bowed urgently and shouted. “Safe journey home, Brother Tang!” The scene looked rather impressive.

  Qin Xiangyi chuckled and ga
ve Tang Hao a side-eye. “‘Brother Tang’? You’re so cool, Lil Tang!”

  Tang Hao smiled awkwardly.

Back at Azure Sky Gardens, Qin Xiangyi busied herself making tea while Tang Hao and Qin Gang sat in the living room looking awkwardly at each other.

After a long while, Tang Hao opened his mouth and broke the silence.

  “Um… Brother-in-law…”

Qin Gang’s face darkened and said unhappily, “I might have apologized earlier, but that doesn’t mean that I recognize you. Do you think it’s that easy to gain my approval?

“Not only that. How old are you again? Do you think that’ll work out?”

“Ahem!” Tang Hao coughed and said, “Then I’ll address you as Brother Gang. I say, Brother Gang, are you suffering problems in that part of your body?”

Qin Gang’s expression changed drastically. He nearly shot up from his seat. “You… how did you know? No, no, I mean, that part of my body is doing just fine! Don’t speak nonsense.”

Tang Hao smiled. “I say, Brother Gang, I understand what you’re going through. It’s also normal if you don’t want to admit it. I’d just like to say that… I can cure your problems.”

Chapter 114 - Captain Zhou Asks for Help

“What? You can cure it?” Qin Gang nearly shot up from his seat again.

Then, he realized what he was saying and then said timidly, “I… I don’t have that problem!”

“I can cure that, you know!” Tang Hao emphasized.

“You… can?” Qin Gang said awkwardly.

  “Of course!”

  Qin Gang hesitated.

‘No matter how I look at him, this kid doesn’t look like a doctor. How can he cure my problem? Furthermore, how did he know that I have that problem in the first place?

‘Unless… he has some sort of special power?’

His heart was lit up by a spark of hope. He squeezed a flattering smile on his face, stood up, then sat down next to Tang Hao and whispered to him, “Little Brother-in-law! Are you sure you can cure my problems?”

“It’s not a big deal. Just leave it to me,” Tang Hao said.

Qin Gang became very excited. His face was thoroughly red.

He had been plagued by ‘that problem’ for a very long time. His dignity as a man had suffered because of ‘that problem’, so much that he could not look at his girlfriends straight in the eye.

“How… How do you cure it?”

“That’s easy. Take this potion and drink a few mouthfuls before you do it. I can guarantee that you’ll be full of vitality and be as fierce as a tiger. Remember to only drink a few mouthfuls though, it won’t be good for your body if you drink too much.”

Tang Hao flicked his wrist and a bottle of aphrodisiac potion appeared in his hand.

“What medicine is this?” Qin Gang asked curiously as he took the bottle.

“It’s an aphrodisiac potion! It’s made of all-natural herbal ingredients and there are no side effects. I’m not trying to boast, but the effects are amazing. Of course, this is a stopgap measure. If you want to cure the problem by its root, I’ll have to concoct a special formula for you.”

“Aphrodisiac?” Qin Gang looked doubtful as he inspected the bottle in his hand.

“Don’t worry. You’ll last longer with it!” Tang Hao said.

He paused for a while and continued, “To be frank, yours isn’t a big problem. Many men suffer from it, and it’s relatively easy to cure the problem at its root. Right, when will you be leaving?”

  “Tomorrow!”

“Tomorrow? Fine, I’ll concoct the special potion for you tonight and give it to you tomorrow. You’ll only see lasting effects if you drink it daily. Meanwhile, you can drink the aphrodisiac potion whenever you need it. You can keep on drinking it after you are cured, the effect will be doubled!”

“Thank you then!” Qin Gang was excited as he held on to the aphrodisiac potion.

“Little Brother-in-law, do you… have more of this stuff? One bottle isn’t going to be enough! I need a few more bottles!”

  “Of course!” Tang Hao nodded.

“I’ve been peddling concoctions like these, including weight loss, beauty enhancement, and healthcare ones. That’s why I started the company.”

“Wow!” Qin Gang exclaimed, “If the effects are as good as you say, the prospects are looking pretty good!”

Qin Xiangyi happened to enter the living room carrying a tray. She was surprised to see the two men sitting together and chatting happily.

Since when did these two people get so close to each other?

“What are you two chatting about, Brother?” Qin Xiangyi asked curiously.

“It’s… It’s nothing. Just the usual stuff.” Qin Gang waved his hands. Then, he laughed heartily, “Little Sister, I’ve just realized that you have good taste in men. I like this Little Brother-in-law already.”

  Qin Xiangyi was again surprised.

When they first came into the house, the atmosphere between them was awkward. How did they become so friendly toward each other all of a sudden? She knew too well her brother’s stubborn character.

“What’s up with you, Brother?” Qin Xiangyi was clueless.

“Heh! What’s up with me? I’ve just seen how good a man Lil Tang is,” Qin Gang said.

Qin Xiangyi was taken aback as she looked at Tang Hao. “Lil Tang, you didn’t feed my brother a charm potion, right?”

Tang Hao shook his head. “It’s nothing. We’re just talking about stuff.”

Qin Xiangyi could smell something fishy between them, though she was happy that the two men were getting friendly and therefore did not pursue the topic.

“Come, Brother, have some tea!” She placed two teacups in front of the two people.

They chatted for more than an hour before Qin Gang left.

Two people remained in the house.

Tang Hao retrieved the wooden box with the jade ornaments and said to Qin Xiangyi, “Let me help you wear them, Sis Xiangyi.” He picked out the jade necklace from the box as he spoke.

“Hm,” Qin Xiangyi replied. Her pretty face blushed slightly.

Tang Hao walked in front of her and gently placed the necklace around her neck.

The necklace was majestically beautiful. Each of the jade beads emanated a brilliant glow and accentuated the wearer’s beauty.

“Do I look good in it?” Qin Xiangyi asked shyly.

“You look good!” Tang Hao said, in a daze.

Qin Xiangyi covered her mouth and smiled. She suddenly leaned forward and kissed Tang Hao on his lips.

Tang Hao took the opportunity and hugged her by the waist. They fell over on the couch.

Emotions were running high, and their movements became more intense.

  Suddenly, a phone rang.

  Their movements paused.

“It’s my phone,” Qin Xiangyi said softly with a red face, “It must be from the factory.”

“Then you should answer it!” Tang Hao flipped over and sat up.

Qin Xiangyi straightened her clothes, picked up the phone, and answered it.

After the call ended, Qin Xiangyi said, “Something happened in the factory. I have to be there.”

“You should go then!” Tang Hao said.

“Should I… send you home first?”

“There’s no need. I can go back myself. I should go check out my office on my way back too,” Tang Hao said.

“Alright then!” Qin Xiangyi leaned forward and kissed him gently. She then took off the necklace and placed it back in the box before leaving.

Tang Hao returned the box into his pocket dimension, then left the house.

The security guards at the front of the residential area did not recognize him at first. They carefully examined him before realizing who he was.

“Oh! Aren’t you Lil Tang? Long time no see!”

“Uncle Guo!” Tang Hao smiled and greeted the security guard.

“Not bad at all, Lil Tang! You’re an item
with Boss Qin now?” The security guard asked.

  Tang Hao nodded.

The several security guards there displayed faces of admiration and respect. All of them gestured a thumbs-up at Tang Hao.

  “That’s amazing!”

Tang Hao smiled. He retrieved a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and split it with the security guards.

He stayed for a while to chat. He felt sentimental as they recollected past events.

Suddenly, his phone rang. He took it out and was surprised to see that Captain Zhou called him.

“That’s strange. Why is Captain Zhou looking for me?” Tang Hao mumbled, though he answered the call anyway.

“Hello, Captain Zhou! Is something the matter?” Tang Hao said.

“Brother Tang, I’ve met with some trouble here and I’d like to ask for your help. It’s a little tricky, and only a master like you can solve it.” Captain Zhou’s voice was heard over the phone.

Tang Hao immediately understood what he was saying. Captain Zhou must have encountered a supernatural occurrence.

  Chapter 115 - There’s A Problem With Your Bra

Tang Hao thought for a while, then said, “Can you tell me exactly what’s going on, Captain Zhou?”

“It’s a murder case, but it’s a little mysterious. Before I met you, I would’ve never believed that it can be caused by supernatural forces, but now that I’ve seen it, I need a master like you to help me!

“It’s hard for me to tell you the details over the phone. I’ll send someone to fetch you!” Captain Zhou said.

“Alright! I happen to be free now!” Tang Hao agreed to it. “I’m at the entrance of Azure Sky Gardens.”

“Alright!” Captain Zhou ended the call after his reply.

Tang Hao kept away his phone, then went back to the booth at the entrance to chat with the security guards.

About ten minutes later, a police car appeared on the road outside.

The police car drove toward them at an incredible speed like a maniac, then the brakes screeched loudly as it stopped at the entrance of Azure Sky Gardens.
