Instantly, the smile on his face froze.

That was because he did not touch anything. The eye sockets were really hollow.

His eyes suddenly widened, and his entire body trembled violently. His face was deathly pale.

His soul almost fled from his body at that instant.

  ‘F*ck! It’s a real zombie!’

At that moment, a crew member came up and removed the talisman from the dumpling’s forehead. The dumpling moved and bared its teeth savagely.

Wu Tian’s figure teetered. His eyes glazed over, and he fell straight down.

“Hahaha, another idiot! He even reached out to touch it!” The production crew laughed.

“Hurry up and drag him away. Come on, let’s start!” Trendy Taoist Master shouted.

  Soon, the shoot resumed.

Eventually, Wu Tian finally woke up.

He felt like he had just woken up from a very scary and absurd dream.

“It’s just a nightmare. There are no zombies in this world?” He comforted himself.

He rubbed his head and turned toward the sound of intense fighting coming from the other corner of the studio.

He was stunned again when he looked closely. His eyes were about to pop out of their sockets.

He saw a few figures in Taoist robes fighting something. The scene was dazzling and explosive.

It would have been a normal scene in an action movie because of post-production special effects, but the flashes and explosions were happening in front of his eyes!

What shocked him even more was that the Taoist masters were fighting the zombies that had appeared in his dream.

His eyes glazed over again in extreme shock, and he fell straight down.

He finally woke up again after a long time.

He sat up and saw that the shooting seemed to have ended. All the zombies were gone.

  Everything seemed to be normal.

“Haha! It must be a nightmare! There shouldn’t be anything so ridiculous!” He laughed dryly and stood up.

He took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth. Touching his pocket, he remembered that he had left the lighter in the car.

He looked around and saw a guy dressed as a corpse.

“Hey, you there!” He shouted rudely, “Come here!”

Not far away, Tang Hao was stunned.

“Yes, I’m calling you, you damn extra. Hurry up and find me a lighter.” Wu Tian sat there and put on a haughty look.

“Don’t use ‘damn’ on me, thank you! Extras have dignity too,” Tang Hao rolled his eyes and said.

“Hah! A damn extra dares talk back at me? Don’t you know who I am?” Wu Tian shouted.

Tang Hao glanced at him and said, “Your name is… Wu Tian, right? I think I’ve heard of your name before.”

  Wu Tian immediately became smug.

Right after that, he saw the “damn extra” turn around and address the crew members around him, “Remember to take good care of this guy.”

  “Yes, Producer!”

Wu Tian was stunned when he heard that.

“Pro… producer?” He said with a trembling voice, his face full of disbelief.

“Surprised, right? He’s our producer, but he wants to play an extra!” Someone said mockingly.

Wu Tian was about to cry.

‘F*ck! The producer is acting as a corpse? Is it fun?’

“Oh, right! Not only is he the producer of the movie, but he’s also the chairman of Haotian Group. He’s the big boss!” Someone said nonchalantly.

When Wu Tian heard that, his body teetered, and he felt dizzy.

  ‘Oh my god!

‘That guy is the big boss of Haotian Group? A figure with billions of assets?

  ‘That’s not a joke, right?’

At that moment, he wanted to slap himself.

“Here! Sign this confidentiality agreement. Everything that you see during the filming can not be leaked. Of course, no one would believe you even if you leaked what you saw, right?”

“Don’t doubt it, kid. Everything that happened just now is real!”

Wu Tian was completely dumbfounded as he held the agreement.

  ‘Everything just now is real?

‘Oh my god! Where does this freak of a production group find real zombies?

‘There’s also a producer who loved to act like a corpse. Just what kind of weird production team is this!’

For a moment, he felt like crying, but no tears came.

  Chapter 568 - Immediate Assistance

After removing his make-up, Tang Hao returned to the studio.

  “Chairman Tang!”

  “Producer!”

When the staff members saw him, they would stop and greet him respectfully.

They were filled with enthusiasm and vigor.

At first, they were like the rest of the world. They thought that the movie was a casual project made by someone with too much money, and that the film would be a terrible one.

However, after interacting with the director and the main actors, their views were transformed.

Director Xuan Yang was truly talented. Before filming had even started, he had already drawn all the storyboards of the film. His artistic skills were truly incredible.

In the first production meeting, the art team, the props team, and the assistant director were thoroughly impressed.

  ‘This director is truly amazing!’

What happened next renewed their worldview.

Those old actors were all true disciples of Mao Mountain.

Many people were scared silly when they first saw the dumplings. Fortunately, they eventually got used to them.

After a few days of filming, they realized that the lead actors were amazing, even more so than veteran actors with established names.

What they saw made them even more determined to shoot a good movie.

The negative comments on the Internet boosted their morale. They could not wait to prove those critics wrong.

“You make a good corpse, Brother Tang!” The Taoist masters laughed as they reviewed the footage.

Tang Hao laughed and said, “Keep up the good work. I’m leaving now.”

  “Take care, Brother Tang!”

After leaving the studio, Tang Hao got into his A8 and drove away.

  It was already dark.

Tang Hao looked at his watch and noticed that it was already past seven o’clock.

After returning home, Tang Hao took a shower and changed into a clean set of clothes. Then, he called Sister Xiangyi and went online to browse the news.

Many days might have passed, but news about Haotian Pictures was still gaining a lot of attention.

Many film critics were mocking the company.

Some of them even interviewed several renowned Huaxianese directors about their opinion of Haotian Pictures.

“Opinion? I don’t have any opinion. I’m not interested in looking at trash!

“Haotian is ruining their reputation. Do they think that it’s so easy to break into the film industry? All I can say is: Don’t be naïve!

“I heard that the movie is set to release during the Lunar New Year? Heheh! How idiotic! The cinemas are flooded with movies every Lunar New Year. The movie will be a casualty amid the intense battle of the blockbusters.

“Who’ll be the winner? Of course, it’ll be me, Tian Qiuming. You all can wait and see. I have 120% confidence in my movie.”

  That was Tian Qiuming’s interview.

Tang Hao sneered after reading it.

‘He’ll be the winner? Tian Qiuming is too arrogant.’

  “We’ll see about that!”

Tang Hao smirked and closed the webpage. He turned his attention to Liu Bingyao’s news.

Liu Bingyao’s popularity skyrocketed during that period. Not only her popularity was rising on Weibo, but she had also been the most popular streamer on Sky Live.

The number of subscribers on her channel had surpassed three million.

  H
er popularity continued to increase every time she streamed.

Fan clubs and support groups were set up in all corners of the country.

Liu Bingyao was considered a celebrity on the Internet.

Tang Hao smiled when he read the news about Liu Bingyao.

She would be a national celebrity if the momentum continued.

Sis He said that she would spend a lot of money to hire famous composers and songwriters to create Liu Bingyao’s first album, hoping to create a good first impression.

Tang Hao naturally agreed to it and let her do whatever she wanted.

He placed his tablet away, then got up and prepared to cook in the kitchen.

  Suddenly, his phone rang.

He picked it up and saw that the call was from General Bai.

“What’s up?” Tang Hao answered the call and asked.

“Comrade Tang Hao, where are you now?” General Bai’s tone was anxious.

“I’m at Provincial City! What’s wrong?” Tang Hao’s expression changed slightly.

He could tell that something urgent had happened from General Bai’s tone of voice.

“Quick! Go and support Comrade Mu. She’s near you now, and someone is hunting her down!” General Bai said anxiously.

“She’s being hunted?” Tang Hao was stunned.

‘Who dares to hunt down someone from the Agency?’

“Who is it?” Tang Hao asked sternly.

“Sigh! It’s those Dongying bastards. I’ll fill you in with the details later. You should save her first,” General Bai said.

  “Where is she now?”

“I’ll send her location to you!”

  “Ok!”

After ending the call, he soon received a message. It was a map with a red dot on it. That was a street on the north side of the city.

That place was near the suburbs.

  “Dongying again!”

Tang Hao murmured and frowned. His eyes flashed with a terrifying gaze.

After Operation Witch Hunter, foreign cultivators in China would obey the law and behave.

However, the Dongying cultivators dared to chase after the people of the Agency.

“How brazen! Those people must have a death wish!” Tang Hao muttered under his breath and immediately moved out.

He jumped down from the balcony to the basement parking lot and got in the car.

He floored the accelerator and activated the jade talismans, and the car sped away like lightning.

A few minutes later, Tang Hao arrived at his destination.

He looked at his phone again. Several more messages came in, updating Mu Xintong’s location.

He continued driving and saw a car chase on the road ahead.

In front was a white car, followed by several black SUVs.

The white car in front swerved to the left and right, while the SUVs at the back were driving at full speed.

Fortunately, it was quite late, and they were in the suburbs. There were not many cars on the road, which meant that an accident would not happen.

Tang Hao’s gaze turned cold. He floored the accelerator and crashed directly into SUVs.

Bang! An SUV was sent flying, and its front half caved in. It rolled on the ground several times before stopping.

In an instant, the people in the other SUVs exclaimed in surprise.

After dispatching that SUV, Tang Hao abruptly turned the steering wheel and braked. The car skidded on the spot and continued to crash toward the other SUVs.

“Quick, quick! Dodge it!” The people in the SUVs screamed.

The SUVs tried to dodge, but the car was too fast. They could not dodge in time.

  Bang!

Another SUV flew away and rolled on the ground.

Brakes screeched, and the other SUVs stopped abruptly.

The doors opened and people in black suits and sunglasses came out. They lifted the guns in their hands and aimed at Tang Hao.

At this moment, the white car in front hit the divider and stopped.

  Chapter 569 - A Sudden Passionate Encounter

  Tang Hao stopped his car.

Not far in front of him, several Dongyingese were pointing their guns in his direction.

Some people clambered out of the SUVs that were knocked away. Their heads were bleeding, and they looked pathetic.

“They didn’t die?” Tang Hao was surprised.

It seemed that those people were all ninja cultivators. Otherwise, if they were mundane people, they would have died from the collision. They seemed to be quite powerful.

‘That’s right. If they dare to run rampant in Huaxia, they must be quite powerful!’

One had to know that Mu Xintong was in the middle period of the State of Qi Channeling.

  “Kill him!”

At this moment, a low and hoarse voice came from an SUV.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Gunshots rang out.

Bullets whizzed past the air, though they stopped in mid-air when they got close to Tang Hao, as though they hit an invisible barrier.

The Dongyingese cultivators were instantly stunned.

“Huh?” Someone exclaimed In the white car.

Bang! Bang! Bang! The gunshots continued. Everyone had emptied their magazines, but the barrier remained intact.

“What the hell Is that thing? It’s harder than a turtle shell. Go and grab that girl. He’ll have to come out of hiding.” A head popped out from the car. It was a man in his forties.

He had a horse-like long face, thin cheeks, and a pair of small eyes.

  “Hai!”

They bowed and immediately walked toward the white car.

Tang Hao opened the car door and got out.

The Dongyingese turned to look at Tang Hao and were surprised by Tang Hao’s youth.

Their surprise soon turned into disdain.

‘How powerful could that kid be? At most, he’d be as powerful as the girl, and she has to run away anyway.’

“Heh! I thought some powerful figure had come to the girl’s rescue! It turns out to be a little kid. Go, kill him for me! Hurry up!” The person in the car said.

“Don’t waste time. The authorities must have been alerted. We don’t have much time!”

As he spoke, his gaze turned toward the white car.

He licked his lips and swallowed a mouthful of drool, revealing a lustful expression.

He did not expect that Huaxia had dispatched such a beautiful woman to deal with them, and he almost could not restrain his urges. Even if they had to retreat, he would want to play with her first.

‘I’ve poisoned her earlier. She should be at her limit!’

“Yes, Sir!” The ninja cultivators replied.

They tore off their clothes, revealing their ninja uniforms underneath. They reached toward their backs and pulled out sharp blades.

They flourished their blades, which glinted coldly.

“Die, you brat!” They shouted coldly and revealed ferocious expressions.

Tang Hao glanced at them and could not help but grin.

He could tell from their qi auras that the ninja cultivators’ cultivation bases were in the middle period of the State of Qi Channeling. The person in the car was in the late period. No wonder Mu Xintong was no match for him.

However, they were nothing more than a bunch of trash in his eyes!

‘How dare they step into Huaxia with that level of skill? How reckless!’

He attacked before the ninja cultivators could burrow into the ground. He flicked his wrists, and a wave of jade talismans shot out.

  Boom! Boom! Boom!

Flames and lightning exploded, knocking out the ninja cultivators and killing most of them. The survivors were sent flying, and they were barely alive when they landed.

In the car, the horse-faced man was stunned. For a while, he did not know how to react.

When he came to his senses, he hissed and sucked in a breath of cold air.

His eyes were wide open, and his face was distorted from
extreme shock.

‘Those are my best ninjas! How could they be annihilated in a single exchange? What powers did that guy have?’

His face twitched violently and revealed a savage expression.

‘The kid must have some powerful Artifact to aid him. He wouldn’t be my match in terms of raw power!’

His body moved, and he pounced forward. With a swing of his hand, a wave of shurikens shot out from his sleeve.

Tang Hao’s body swayed slightly, and he dodged all of them.

  ‘How is that possible?’

The horse-faced man’s heart trembled as he became even more aghast.

“That’s not impossible!” Tang Hao grunted coldly. He stepped forward and shot out a talisman, causing that man to vomit blood and fly backward.

“How dare you step into Huaxia!” Tang Hao strolled forward and said coldly.

“You… who exactly are you?” The horse-faced man pushed himself up with great difficulty. He clutched his chest, and his face was pale.

“Who do you think I am?” Tang Hao said coldly.

He stopped in front of the horse-faced man. His face was gloomy, and cold killing intent surged in his eyes.

The man’s body trembled. “You… You’re the Dragon!” He blurted.

He could not believe that the young man who looked like a teenager was actually the Dragon of Huaxia, who had made shockwaves all around the world.

He cursed his luck. He was in Huaxia to gather information about the Dragon, expecting that the Dragon would be hiding in seclusion. That was why he had brazenly hunted down Huaxianese cultivators.

He did not expect that the Dragon would find him in less than twenty minutes.

‘How did the Dragon appear in less than twenty minutes? Even if he was in the city, driving over would take longer! Don’t tell me that he had been nearby?’

He cursed his luck again when he thought of that. ‘This is too much of a coincidence!’

“You guessed it right! Unfortunately, you still have to die!” Tang Hao said coldly.

“No! You can’t kill me. I’m from the Iga clan. If you kill me, the clan will avenge me.” The horse-faced man begged for mercy.

“isn’t that better? That saves me the trouble of hunting them all!”

Tang Hao smiled coldly. He raised his hand and threw out a talisman, blowing the man into bits.
