Trickster Tamed

I stepped back until my back was connected to the edge of the kitchen counter as the hellhound pulled closer. Crimson eyes stilled on me, it was breathing fire and brimstone which sent a wave of regret shooting through me. Guilt pricked my conscience.

I’m sorry, Raveno. I didn’t mean to leave you but I’ve got a job to be done.

I clenched my fists, ready to bolt when Raveno launched himself at me. His paws were as large as my face and his talons looked like they could split flesh from bones. My heart jumped to my throat. His muscles bulged under the fur coat, the sight sending a shudder up my legs.

Even in his hellhound transformation, he looked so fucking hot and sexy. The thought of being under his weight sent a wave of lust through me. Sparks flew in my stomach. I wouldn’t mind if Raveno was going to take and claim me right away. My pussy was tingling with sweet ache, begging to be abused.

My breathing and heart rate picked up, thumping in my chest. The dirty thoughts of what Raveno could be doing to me on the kitchen benchtop flooded my mind, making my head spin even faster than it already was. My eyes were interlocked with the hellhound and the memories of our hot sex flashed into my mind. God, I wanted him to fuck me like this again.

My eyes fluttered closed. I was ready to accept my fate when a loud roar ripped from the hellhound. My eyes fell open when I saw Tessa in front of me. She was panting, her chest heaved and fell. A knife was sticking out on the left shoulder of the hellhound, where blood was oozing out and beading on his fur coat. The sight catapulted me into a state of panic.

I wanted to run to Raveno but my feet were rooted to the floor. “Oh no, Raveno…” I muttered. I didn’t think Tessa or Lamora heard it. It was the last thing I cared even if they did. A surge of guilt and sadness ripped through me. I could feel the pain even though it was Raveno who got hurt.

Anger flared in me when Tessa turned to me and said, “You’re welcome.”

I wanted to beat that bitch up when Raveno’s glare reverted to Tessa’s direction. A low growl rumbled from his chest. “You have no fucking idea what you’re doing.” Raveno. God, his voice. There was no mistaking that he was Raveno and the realization hurt me more.

Raveno’s glare settled on Tessa’s face as he plucked the bloodied knife from his wound and tossed the blade on the floor. The cut closed up immediately, even the last drop of blood dried out. A wave of fear and awe ripped through me. I knew Raveno was strong and powerful but I didn’t know this was the extent of his superpower.

No wonder Raveno had no remorse. If this was what Raveno was capable of, then Andrajvah…I might have made a dire mistake for going against him then. When he would collect enough hearts of gold to make him impenetrable even by the Divine Overlord, it would be the end of the world. Why was I so stupid? Why did Toar think that he could defeat him when Andrajvah got what he wanted?

Raveno’s eyes stilled on me, sending a wave of lust and fear shooting through me, making my head spin harder. I thought I was about to blackout. In his very manly and sexy voice, he growled, “I will deal with you later. And I’m going to make sure that you pay for what you did.”

My bones were melting on the inside. Oh god, he had no idea how much I wanted to be punished by him. I sucked in a deep breath and tried to pull my act together when his eyes traveled to Tessa.

“You will pay for what you’ve done.” Maybe it had been my own imagination, even though he had the same intimidating voice when he spoke to Tessa, it felt different. It was dripping with pure anger and resentment.

Tessa shot a knowing look at Lamora, who nodded. My chest swelled with a wave of jealousy. What did that even fucking mean? How did they both come up with some secret signals when I was just gone for a few hours?

I held my breath when Raveno launched himself towards Tessa. She was quicker. She hauled herself on the benchtop and did a cartwheel across it. Once she got on one knee, she lifted her chin up and shouted at Lamora. “Now!”

Lamora muttered something beneath her breath and an interworld portal conjured in front of her. My eyes widened with shock when I felt something tugging at my arm before I realized it had been Tessa. Lamora was the first to disappear into the portal.

I turned around to meet with Tessa’s eyes wide with fear. “What are you waiting for? Get your fucking ass in there!” Over her shoulders, Raveno appeared bigger and closer, gaining towards us. He was snarling through his gritted canines. Part of me wanted to throw myself at him. Yearning for him to take me back. Maybe leaving him was a mistake after all.

Tessa rolled her eyes and let out a tired sigh when she clutched me tightly on my arm and jumped off the bench straight to the abyss. “No, wait!” I shouted as gravity hauled me into the portal. A wave of anger for Tessa rushed through me.

I took a last look at Raveno, feeling the guilt bubbling in the pit of my stomach. His eyes lingered on mine. I thought he was gonna be mad but instead his gaze was pregnant with sorrow and regret instead of anger. As if he was feeling sorry for me instead.

“Raveno…” I reached my hand out trying to touch him when the last shadow of him disappeared in the dark along with the last glimpse of my hope.

  Diabolas

“How did she fucking manage to escape?” Andrajvah’s voice boomed in the Hall of Justice, piercing into my bones even though his anger wasn’t directed to me. Standing in the middle of the chamber with my head hung down, I could feel the fear emanating from Raveno who was standing next to me.

The tension in the air pricked me when the shrill silence cast over the hall. There were four of us in the Hall of Justice. Andrajvah perched on his throne of skulls, fuming. Toar his most trusted assistant flanking the side of his throne. He said nothing. When Toar kept his mouth shut, you’d better do the same.

Andrajvah’s eyes stilled on Raveno as if trying to set him on fire. I couldn’t help but smirk at myself. Satisfaction swelling in my chest. Ah Raveno, finally. Every dog had its day. No puns intended. I still remembered the cocky look on Raveno’s face when he first got promoted to become a hellhound shifter. That fucking bastard thought he was the king.

Andrajvah was about to bark again when Raveno quickly added, his head hanging even lower. “I’m sorry, sir. I won’t let that happen again. I promise.”

Andrajvah snorted through his flared nostrils. “You think you got a second chance, son?” His face turned into a deep shade of purple when Raveno was about to say something again.

This was my chance. Sucking in my breath, I stepped forth and said, “Let me handle this, sir.” The shocked and unhappy look on Raveno’s face pleased me. Oh, how the tables had turned.

Andrajvah’s eyes lit up with interest. Raveno was about to say something when Andrajvah growled and shut him up. The corner of my lips curled up into a victorious smirk when Raveno backed up. “And what will you do, Diabolas?”

First of all, I’d make sure Raveno disappear from my sight forever. I cleared my throat and put on the most serious look I could muster. “The fallen angel. Debbie. I will get her back and convert her completely. Fallen Angels will stand no chance against you, sir. Soon, you will achieve the Complete Oblivion, the highest state one can achieve. Even the Divine Overlord cannot touch you.”

A satisfied smile bloomed on Andrajvah’s face as he nodded. “Good, Diabolas.”

I couldn’t hold back the smile forming on my face. I turned around, feasting on the resentful look on Raveno’s face, inhaling the indignation brewing in his chest.

“The fallen angel shall be all yours to pleasure and use, Diabolas. For you have earned it.”

  “Thank–”

“No!” Raveno shouted from behind me.

“Silence!” Andrajvah’s voice boomed across the Hall of Justice, making Raveno stagger back in fear and shock. Andrajvah’s fiery eyes spat fire as he growled, “Raveno, I thought I could trust you but you have failed me. You have no say in my decision. But I’m giving you another chance. You wil
l assist Diabolas in this. And if you fuck up again, I will fuck you up.”

Raveno’s face twisted in pain as he clenched his fists, throbbing veins running across his lean muscles. “Yes, sir.”

“Good. Now get the fuck out of here.”

Raveno followed me out of the Hall of Justice in silence. Once out of the Hall of Justice in the quiet hallway of the Underworld, Raveno grabbed me on the back of my top and flipped me around. Losing my balance, he pinned me up against the wall, connecting my back with it in a loud thud.

“Argh,” I growled through my gritted teeth and grabbed him on the front of his shirt. “What the fuck is wrong with you, Raveno?”

His crimson eyes burned into mine. “Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to, Diabolas. I know you’ve been eyeing on my girl since I told you about her.” He dropped his hands from me and I dusted my clothes. Dripping with regret, he muttered under his breath, “I shouldn’t have trusted you, Diabolas. I can’t believe I considered you my own fucking brother.”

I scoffed, baring my teeth in a patronizing grin. The memories of when Raveno and I were still brothers flashed in my head. “Haven’t you learned anything in the past century, Raveno? People want you to do well but not better than them. Not especially when you’re the fucking dog that bites the hand of someone who feeds you. Do you not remember it was me who helped you up?”

Raveno was highborn. A fucking Angel of Deception. It was something that I’d always envied and curious about him. Why would an angel throw away his divine life to join Andrajvah’s ally? We’d always been from the opposite worlds.

I was a thief since I was nine. Fighting through life straight out of a dysfunctional family with a drug addict dad and an alcoholic mom. I considered myself leading a quite successful life in crime. Thinking about it now, the things I did weren’t a far cry from the duties of the Angel of Deception. We just happened to be working for the different bosses. Maybe that explained the rapport and the same taste in women.

Debbie. I’d never met her personally but I felt like I’d known her for decades. From the stories Raveno told me and the trances where I secretly watched her. The long brown hair cascading down her petite waist and sexy childbearing hips. I wanted to make her brown eyes roll into her skull as she breathed through her dainty little nose while I spread her long and lean legs and fuck her like a dirty whore.

And now that I got the green light. She was all mine to claim. The sheer thought of tasting the nectar between her legs sent a spurt of lust through my veins. My cock splintered with hot need, making me want to break into Fallen Angels immediately.

And the satisfaction of getting the girl of your dreams didn’t just stop there. It was the pleasure of revenge, to rip from Raveno what belonged to him just like what he had done to me.

“Don’t worry, Raveno. I’m not that cruel.” A wry grin crept on my face. Raveno turned to me with a confused look on his face. “I won’t be that selfish to keep the treasure to myself. I will share her with you. We both shall take turns on her. Make sure that all of her tight holes are stretched and filled.” My balls felt full. My erect cock was digging against the zipper of my jeans.

Raveno gritted through his gnashed teeth. The color on his face heightened, sweat drenched his forehead. His muscles bulged, stretching the fabric of his clothes. His breathing picked up, syncing with mine.

That dirty bastard. “You know you want this too,” I growled, my breathing labored. “You want to watch her being ravished by the two of us.”

Raveno gave a weak, “No,” betraying his true yearning. I let out a laugh and clapped him on the shoulders, feeling the heat rising within me. The primal beast within me was howling with hot need, yearning for a release.

“You will thank me for this, Raveno.”

  Debbie

I landed with a loud thud on the familiar wooden floor of Fallen Angels. Pain spread down my spine when someone hauled me up on my feet. I turned around and was met with Tessa’s red face. I glanced over her squared up shoulders and realized we were in the heart of the academy where the lecterns were. “You are fucking welcome.”

I blinked quickly, swimming in confusion when I realized why she’d said that. Tessa had no fucking idea what happened between Raveno and I. Tessa thought Raveno was there to kill me. This was my chance to regain their trust.

Sucking in my breath, I mustered up the most innocent look I could manage. “I had no choice.”

“What do you mean you had no choice?” Lamora spat, materializing behind me and took Tessa’s side. Anger and jealousy shot through me. Tessa could really switch sides just like that. “Who forced you to leave Fallen Angels? You were in the selection, Debbie. You were given a chance to prove your worth to the academy and everything was working according to the plan.”

I shook my head and feigned scared. “It’s not that simple, okay? I–I was blackmailed. Remember the buddy system? You were supposed to fucking watch my back! But you were too busy fucking those old men.” I pointed at Tessa’s chest. A hint of guilt flashed on her face.

Tessa gulped. Her voice softened. I wrestled to hold back my victorious smirk. “What the actual fuck happened?” Tessa and Lamora’s eyes fell on me.

Heaving my breath, I fixed my outfit. “Raveno, the guy who attacked us back in the apartment. He was sent by Andrajvah to…claim me.” I lied but at least the part about claiming me was real. The thought of our hot sex made the skin on the nape of my neck tingle.

I gulped and fought to steady my breathing. “One night, while you went M.I.A., Raveno had come and offered me a deal. He wouldn’t have spared my life if I hadn’t done it.” My gaze lingered on Tessa and Lamora’s faces in turn, trying to read their expression. “He forced me to tell him what I knew about the attack plan so I did…”

The color on Lamora’s face heightened into a bright pink as she snorted and turned away from me.

“I know what you’re thinking,” I cried. “I feel like shit too. Yes, it’s true I wanna escape from Fallen Angels but talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I dare you two to say it right to my face this thought has never crossed your mind!”

My eyes darted between Tessa and Lamora and then fell on Tessa. “You were the mastermind behind this entire plan to escape from Fallen Angels. And now what? You found some dicks you could ride and now acting all highly and noble?”

Lamora raised her arms and pulled Tessa back when she was about to jump me. “Whoa, whoa, calm y’all tits, ladies. Fine, Debbie. You got a point there. But what about the incident in Butterfly Valley?”

A smirk quirked up the corner of my lips. The irked look on Tessa’s face lit up my mood. “Well, I was told to distract Urken and Mafento. I thought Tessa might be a better fit for the job.”

Tessa gritted her teeth at me and traded looks with Lamora. “Let’s cut the crap. We don’t even know if half of this shit she spewed out was true. We’re taking her to the Divine Principal.”

My heart somersaulted in my chest as I contemplated my fate. It was definitely easier to fool these two bitches than the Divine Principal himself. What was the Fallen Angels' policy regarding treason? This couldn’t happen. I needed an escape plan.

I was just about to fake period pain when a loud shriek echoed in the hallway, turning our heads. My nerves rose. “What the fuck is that?” mouthed Tessa.

“It seems like it had come from the end of the hallway.” Lamora scowled in the direction where she jutted her chin.

“One way to find out.” Tessa turned to me. “You’re coming with us and don’t you dare play one of your stupid tricks on us.” I sneered at her retreating back as Tessa led the way down the quiet hallway. Lamora took up the rear. Their eyes darted in all directions, ready for an ambush.

It couldn’t have been a better opportunity than this one. I was racking my brain to come up with an attack plan when a silhouette materialized in front of us and landed with a loud thud on o
ne knee.

The three of us staggered back and got into our fighting stances. The mysterious figure looked up, the crimson eyes affixed on the three of us. Shit, not another Agent of Darkness. Clenching my fists, my nerves rose in me. Adrenaline rushed through my veins. I was ready to bolt when he said, “Follow me.”

Tessa and Lamora traded looks. Then, Lamora said, “What sick games are you playing now?”

A grin revealed the Agent of Darkness’s sharp teeth. “Well, come and see it for yourself. You will regret it if you don’t.” His eyes traveled on Tessa and Lamora’s face and fell on mine. The wry smile that split his face sent a shiver down my spine.

Tessa grabbed me by the arm. “You’re on his side?”

I twisted my face in disgust. “Holy shit. I don’t even know this guy.” Tessa’s cynical gaze lingered on my face, trying to seek for signs of deceit. She narrowed her eyes at the Agent of Darkness and let out a resigning sigh. “Fine. I won’t hesitate to kill you.”
