My mother for always helping with my wild ideas and watching the kids.
Finally my incredible husband for always believing in me and having the patience to help me act out scenes to make sure they are plausible. You helped me learn some great skills should I ever need to turn to a life as a mercenary. My love I will follow you into the dark.
BT URRUELA was an infantryman in the US Army from August 2004 until February 2011. At the end of a year long tour to Baghdad, Iraq, his vehicle was hit by two roadside bombs, which took his right leg below the knee and the life of his commander. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his wounds, an Army Commendation Medal, and Combat Infantryman's Badge. He medically retired from the Army in 2011 and moved to Tampa, Florida where he currently works as a Brand Ambassador for VETSports, a veteran community sports nonprofit he co-founded in 2012, and he writes full time.
CD BRADLEY is just a girl who likes to daydream and sometimes she writes them down. Growing up, the literary world was her safe haven. A wonderful place of fantasy beyond the bounds of reality. As an adult, she put that behind her to practice medicine. Her and her husband owned their own practice, had two children and lived a somewhat normal life. Fate, had other plans. In the span of a year they sold their practice, bought a 96 acre farm in the hills of West Virginia and adopted 3 of their patients (ages 1,3,4). It has been an adventure of ups and downs and learning to laugh at themselves. Yet, somewhere in the midst of kids, chickens, and toothpaste covered dogs, she began to write again. Her late night/early morning escape let her dream beyond all limits. This is now her sixth novel.
