Straight After the Bend

She gasped, pushing down her jeans a little further so his fingers weren’t crushed.

Slowly he moved in and out, kissing her gently and she knew he could see she was ready for him.

‘I want to make you come,’ he whispered and with his other hand pulled down her jeans. ‘Have you got protection?’

‘A packet of three by the bed,’ she sighed, feeling him tease her slowly. ‘You never know when Santa is going to give you a surprise.’

‘Lucky old Santa but really lucky me.’

She reached out, opening the drawer and pulled them out.

Mylo started to rub her off while his mouth sucked on her nipples and his other hand grabbed her breast. His fingers were like magic and she felt the excitement in her loins build up and was on the verge of coming.

Then he quickly moved his head between her legs and bit her nub then sucked on it, making her come hard while his two fingers stretched her.

Bea flung her hands over her head and came again, unable to control her body.

Just as she thought she couldn’t take any more, he grabbed a condom and put it on at high speed, thrusting his cock in very quickly.

She thought she was going to die.

  Mainly from lust.

Wiping his mouth on her pillow, their lips met and she sucked on his tongue feeling him hump her hard and fast.

  It was amazing.

She had never experienced sex like it before and spread her legs as wide as possible, wanting to keep on doing it forever.

And for the first time in ages, she forgot about the pain in her leg and was deliriously happy about what was currently gyrating between her thighs.

  ‘Are you awake?’

He whispered into her hair as she opened her eyes, feeling his body pressed against her back.

It was starting to get light outside and she wondered what the time was but frankly didn’t care. His arms were wrapped around her and she was comfy.

‘Yes,’ she whispered, unable to stop her smile when remembering them making love, twice. ‘Did you sleep okay?’

  ‘Perfectly.’

That was the answer she would have expected to hear from him.

Deep down, she was relieved he hadn’t sprinted out of her bed in the early hours of the morning.

Give it time, she thought, letting out a deep sigh.

‘What was that for?’ Mylo propped himself up and looked down at her.

When she twisted her head to look up at him, Bea remembered why she felt so happy. Even with hardly any sleep he looked refreshed and very much alive.

‘I’m pleased you’re here,’ she honestly replied and turned around.

A beautiful smile was slapped across his face.

‘I’m pleased I’m here,’ he said, moving closer and kissing her forehead.

‘Are you going to rush away and leave?’

‘Do you want me to?’ Bea shook her head from side to side in response. ‘Good, because I’m not going anywhere.’

‘What are your plans for the day?’

‘That all depends on what yours are.’

‘To spend the day with you.’

‘Bea, you know you were groaning through the night,’ he said, pushing her hair of out of her face. ‘And it wasn’t down to me making love to you. Are you in pain when you sleep?’

Letting out a sad sigh, she nodded, then tried to get up. There was a shooting pain in her leg as she looked at Mylo. But it wasn’t as bad as before.

‘Every time I move it hurts. I’ll take some pain killers.’

She grabbed her nightdress from under the pillow, quickly putting it on. Bea hobbled out of the bedroom and into the corridor. Just as she turned, Mylo was grimacing on her behalf.

‘Let me work on your leg,’ he said, pulling on his underpants.

‘Don’t,’ she groaned. ‘I’ll stretch it out and then go to the gym tomorrow. A steam might help.’

‘Come to mine.’ Bea looked at him as he walked towards her. ‘I’ve got a steam room.’

‘No-one has a steam room,’ she laughed.

‘Well, I have. When the bathroom was being installed I got one put in. It’s very good for relaxing your muscles and opening your lungs.’

Bea realised he might be rich. Her stomach plummeted. It crossed her mind whether she was good enough for him. Right now with her gammy leg, she didn’t think so.

‘I have a kettle,’ Bea shrugged in response. ‘And when I don’t open the window, the shower steams up.’ It was on the tip of her tongue and she didn’t want to say it but it had to come out. ‘What are you doing with me?’

Mylo looked stunned by the question, shaking his head.

‘What do you mean?’ he asked, stroking her shoulder.

‘I’m not young and certainly not fit. I’ve rented this place for the past eighteen months off a friend of my dad’s, hence I get a cheap deal. There’s no hidden agenda that makes me mysterious or interesting. I can just about rustle you up breakfast.’

‘I think you’re amazing!’ he said, laughing out. ‘You make me smile and last night, unless I judged it completely wrong, we clicked in more ways than one.’

  ‘That was probably my hip.’

‘There’s nothing wrong with your hip.’ Then he hesitated. ‘But I did hear your back click when I was making love to you.’

  ‘That’s because lack of use.’

‘I can make up for that,’ he grinned.

‘You think it’s a spine problem?’

‘You can bend your legs quite easily when you want to,’ Mylo cheekily replied. ‘Your spine is fine, maybe you have a little worn disc. Nothing that I can’t fix.’ Then he touched her face. ‘I like you.’

‘After you eat my eggs, you’ll think twice.’

  ‘I’d prefer to eat you.’

Bea couldn’t help but grin in response.

  ‘This is where you live?’

Bea tried to hide her shock at the size of the house. Then she felt nervous and knew her palm was starting to sweat, feeling Mylo clasp it tightly.

They were stood outside the white painted place and she didn’t know what to say.

  He was rich.

‘I’m not a gold digger,’ she said, turning to look at him.

‘I didn’t think you were after my money, just my body.’ He let out a little sigh and kissed her cheek. ‘Shall we go in? Unless you want to stare at it all morning.’

Walking to the door, he put the key in then flung it open. Bea stepped in and it was as lovely as she would have expected.

  ‘Do you want a tour?’

  ‘A tour?’

‘Oh, for God’s sake!’ Mylo pulled her arm and kissed her very gently on the lips. ‘Stop looking so scared. Most people are impressed.’

  ‘I’m not most people.’

‘That’s why I like you. But first thing first. We need to sort out that leg of yours. It might be less painful after a steam.’

She winced when he said it.

Yanking off her coat and bag, he hung them up on the bannister before removing his bag and jacket. She daren’t look around the place, knowing she was intimidated by the surroundings.

‘Okay, this is the quick version,’ Mylo said walking her into the open plan living room, dining area and kitchen. ‘And there’s a large garden in the back.’

It looked like a magazine and was very clean. There were some pictures scattered about but she didn’t want to go straight up and stare, should there be an ex-lover he still yearned for.

And again she noticed the pretty little boy that he had pictures of in his office.

As much as she wanted to pry, she had promised to let him tell her in his own time.

Mylo led her to the corridor and towards the staircase.

‘Do you want me to carry you?’ he smirked.

‘I’m not completely disabled,’ she replied, going up slowly and using her right leg to take the weight.

Mylo wrapped his arm around her waist.

&n

  ‘Thank you.’

The next floor wasn’t open planned but it was still very large. She noticed stairs leading to the roof.

‘Here are the bedrooms and the main bathroom.’

‘What’s upstairs?’ she asked, pointing to the roof.

  ‘More bedrooms.’

‘Why do you need so many?’

‘I have a lot of guests.’

Then he went red and looked away.

‘Is it down to a large Irish and American family?’

‘Something like that. Let me show you the bathroom and my fantastic steam room.’

Bea wasn’t too sure but he seemed to be hiding something and she wondered if he did live alone.

Or his woman had gone away to see her family for Christmas and taken their kid.

When it came to men, nothing would surprise her.

Forcing a smile, knowing it was all going to go horribly wrong, she walked into the bathroom.

It looked amazing. There was a free standing bath and in the corner a very large shower.

‘My whole living room can fit into here!’ she gasped, turning to Mylo. ‘Have you got any secrets I need to know about? Like a lover or something? Please tell me now. You can’t live here on your own.’

‘I do.’ He shrugged in response. ‘I know it’s really big but I got a good deal.’ Suddenly she noticed the confusion on his face. ‘Why do you keep asking me if I’m sure about you and if there’s someone else?’

‘Mylo, there has to be. I’ve seen you with a really gorgeous woman and then there’s me.’ Bea looked at her ripped jeans and oversized blue jumper before noticing a small hole in her sock. ‘I don’t exactly suit this place.’

‘I think you don’t seem to like me as much as I like you.’

‘We only got together last night.’

  ‘I planned it.’ Mylo shrugged.

‘What do you mean?’ Bea stepped back. ‘How could you have planned it?’

‘I knew you were coming in yesterday and I wanted to see you. I realised I had to make a move or lucky Santa might take you instead.’ He smiled and his cheeks looked flushed. ‘I was hoping this is how things would turn out.’ Mylo placed a soft kiss on her lips. ‘Come and see my bedroom.’

Trying not to let out a massive sigh, she followed him into the large room which overlooked the garden.

  He was a typical man.

The bed was unmade and he’d thrown clothes onto a chair.

‘Oh sorry!’ he said, running towards the bed to smooth down the duvet. Bea smiled when she noticed he tried to discreetly sniff the pillow. ‘I was in a rush yesterday morning.’

‘From what I’ve seen, your home is exceptionally beautiful.’

  ‘And so are you.’

‘Mylo!’ she laughed out. ‘You’re good at giving compliments!’

‘And you’re bad at accepting them as genuine.’

‘That’s if they are.’ Bea grinned at his disapproving glance. ‘I think, like your home, you’re gorgeous.’

He walked up to her and held her hand, looking down at their entwined fingers. Then he sighed and looked up before saying,

‘Do you want to get your clothes off and lie on your back so I can give you a special massage?’

Indeed, Dr Mylo had a way with words.

  ‘I’m not talking to you.’

Bea was standing outside the shower which was steaming up as he waited for her inside. ‘You were a little rough!’

‘Bea!’ Mylo shouted out. ‘I was gentle.’

‘You were not! And I normally pay you for this? I must be mad!’

  Then she heard him giggling.

Wiping the sweat off her forehead, she smiled when recalling that she slapped him when he pulled at her thigh, trying to stretch her spine. Her action made him laugh out loudly.

His reaction was to kiss her while inflicting more manipulation pain. This made it harder for her to show her sheer annoyance at what he was making her endure.

  But he was right.

She had to suffer a little to make it better.

Now she could walk reasonably well.

Right now, she looked at his slim body with clipped, dark chest hair, through the glass. The man was hot to trot and a very good lover.

And he was trying to help her get better.

This time yesterday, she would never have thought about getting so close to her osteopath.

In a matter of twenty four hours, everything had changed.

‘Are you coming in?’ he shouted. ‘It’s getting steamy in here.’

Flinging off the dressing gown, she stepped in. There was a strong smell of eucalyptus and it was like a steam room, though the shower was far larger than your average unit.

She started to cough from the shock of the vapour.

‘There you are,’ he said and she could see him through the jets of steam. ‘Just relax and let me work on your back. Turn around, please.’

Doing as she was told, she felt him press his body against her and his lips landed on her neck. His hand caressed her breast while the other one massaged her butt cheek.

‘Is that okay?’ he asked, pressing his fingers deeper into her arse. ‘I need to rub away the tension and it’s softening up.’

Then he jolted forward and she realised the opposite was happing to his willy, which was pushing into her other butt cheek.

‘Thank you for being so caring,’ she said, feeling his fingers gently poke into her skin.

He breathed onto her neck and she notice the right response came to her nipples. She turned her head and looked up at his grin.

‘You seem to have a positive reaction with my body, Dr Kearney.’

‘I want to kiss it better.’

Bea turned and looked up to him.

This time, they didn’t smile, just stared.

For a moment she couldn’t breathe, knowing the steam was getting thicker but she didn’t care. There was something behind his eyes that made her believe that he was a good, kind man.

  An honest man.

‘You’re very sexy,’ she said, letting out a little groan. ‘Do people tell you that a lot?’

‘They usually say ‘how much?’ Mylo laughed. ‘Afterwards they don’t mind paying when I make them better.’

‘Don’t give me treatment in your spare time. I’ll make the extra appointments and we’ll do it properly. It serves me right for tripping up the stairs. Thing is, I was thinking about you so it’s your fault.’

  ‘What were you thinking?’

‘Why you didn’t fancy me.’ Bea smiled and noticed he didn’t do the same thing. ‘Sometimes I’m not good at mind games people play. I need someone to say and show me.’

‘I hope I did last night. I’m happy to show you again and again.’

That was one offer Bea certainly didn’t want to refuse.

  ‘Mylo, aren’t you hungry?’

He was lying on top of her on the sofa in his living room, late Saturday lunchtime, stroking her face. They were fully dressed with the intention of going out. ‘After my scrambled eggs on Thursday morning, can’t you give me another chance? It must have digested by now.’ His reaction was to laugh.

After being with each other since Wednesday night, she knew he was flying to Dublin the following day.

  Christmas Eve.

Any other time it would have been perfect to be with someone you liked at Christmas but this had happened quickly and she was grateful to be in his company.

‘We’ve made love countless of times now,’ she whispered, kissing his hand.

  And she wasn’t wrong.

He wanted to keep on having sex and her body was very receptive to his touch. She had let him do things to her that no-man had done before.

Mylo was a very inventive lover and seemed to want to please her. Now and again he would stop to see if he was doing all right.

  The man was more th
an all right.

  He was marvellous!

‘Aren’t you sick of looking at me?’ Bea continued, stroking his ear and smiling.

She wasn’t sick of looking at him. Mylo would smile when he caught her.

He then shook his head from side to side.

‘Aren’t you going to speak to me today?’ she asked, staring into his eyes. ‘Are you tired?’

‘I’m really happy,’ came the earnest reply, making her heart squeeze. ‘Really happy and I don’t want to go home for Christmas.’

‘You’re flying out at eleven tomorrow morning. We have lots of time to spend with each other, if that’s what you’d like.’

‘That’s what I want. Can we go back to yours? I like your home, especially your warm bed.’

Staring at him, she knew he was far too good to be true. His house was amazing in every single way but she thought it was sweet that he was making an effort and wanted to go to her flat.

‘Let me buy you lunch.’ Bea gently pushed him away. ‘You’ve allowed me to squat in your home for a few nights, it’s the least I can do. Plus you’ve fixed my leg.’

‘Bea,’ he said, suddenly grabbing her face.

  His expression seemed pained.

‘It’s okay,’ she said, wondering that something was wrong. ‘I don’t expect you to call me when you’re away, or see me when you get back. It’s fine. I understand about Christmas flings, though I’ve never had one myself.’

‘Bea,’ Mylo repeated again, kissing her lips. ‘I really like you, I really do. I want to call you when I’m away and see you when I get back. This is more than a Christmas fling, don’t you think?’

  ‘I do.’

He kissed her very gently and got up, putting his hand out so she would stand.

‘Let’s go to lunch,’ he said as Bea tried not to look too wobbly on her feet, mainly due to his romantic words.

Walking down the road towards the shops, the place was packed with busy Christmas shoppers. But to Bea, they could have been completely alone, because that’s what it felt like.

  Just Mylo and her.

Eventually they stopped at their French bistro and managed to get a table in a corner. They huddled together while eating steak and chips.

‘You know my mum still serves mash potato for Christmas lunch,’ Mylo said, kissing her forehead. ‘None of us can stand it with roast turkey and beef but she won’t stop doing it. Says it’s traditional.’
