  “Honey, my family is a huge wedding.” Kristy smiled.

  “Your cousins have got to stop procreating.” He chuckled.

  “I think it’s going to stop with Mike.” Nick laughed as he straddled the stool next to the big bald man.

  “It may, but your brother's wives are popping them out like Pez dispensers.” Dean laughed.

  “Oh, stop it.” Kristy shook her head.

  “Tell them to stop. Let’s add this up, John has a boy, and girl and they are trying again. So that’s two and possibly more on the way. James and Marina have three boys and found out they are having a girl. That’s six. Ian and Sandy have three girls and a boy, but they may be done with having kids. That’s what?” Dean glanced at Nick.

  “Ten,” Nick answered as he counted along.

  “Right, ten. Keith and Emily have a boy and another boy on the way. That’s twelve. Right?” Dean glanced at Nick again.

  “Yep.” Nick chuckled.

  “Mike and Billie’s baby girl isn’t due for another couple of weeks, and they are already talking about having more before the baby is too old.” Dean rolled his eyes. “Too old, the kid is not born yet. Anyway, that’s thirteen.”

  “What’s your point, Dean?” Kristy rested her elbows on the bar and leaned closer to her fiancé.

  “My point is…” Dean stopped when Kristy ran one of her hands over the top of his bald head. “It’s ….”

  “It’s what?” Kristy grinned.

  Nick felt a little uncomfortable with the way his cousin gazed at her soon to be husband. It was as if he was witnessing some kind of intimate secret.

  “Kitten, stop doing that.” The clenched teeth gave it away.

  “Yeah, I’m gonna go over and get my own coffee. I don’t want to know what that is all about.” Nick pointed to Dean’s head, and Kristy laughed as he hopped off the stool.

  “I’ll meet you at home, Kitten. Be prepared when you get there.” Dean growled as Nick walked behind the bar.

  He’d poured himself a cup of steaming coffee and was about to exit behind the bar when he was almost bowled over by the curvy auburn haired with the big sapphire blue eyes.

  What does someone say to describe themselves? You could start with giving what others say about you. Scratch that. It doesn't really matter what others think about you. It matters what you think of yourself. So here we go.

  First of all, I'm a wife and mother. I'm also a grandmother. That alone would fulfil any woman's life and to be honest it does. But.....

  I'm also a writer. Someone who loves to tell stories of love, suspense, heartache and of course happily ever after. For most of my life, I've written those stories for myself. A type of therapy, I suppose. I love the characters I create. They become part of who I am because there's part of me in them.

  So.... Now that you know this about me. I hope when you read my books, you fall in love with them.

  You should also know that I'm a Newfoundlander. What is that you ask? Well we're a proud people who live on an island, off the east coast of Canada. Some people believe Canada ends with Nova Scotia. It doesn't. If you keep going east, there is a beautiful island full of amazing people and magnificent scenery. That is where my stories are set because let’s face it. The best stories always come from the places you know and love.
