Darkness

Page 15

by F. Bradshaw

The darkness flowed from my body showing my broken soul. His eyes giving me hope that he did not see the shadows that wait in my soul. I always wanted him. I let the soap slip from my hand again. It splashed up water against my leg. The water rushed down my arm on to his, soaking his shirt through. His hands reached for me. They took me in his embrace. The hot rushing water trailed his hands to his arms where warmth embraced me effusively, and without thought, I gave in. I was stripped down to my soul. Can I have a soul?

I wanted a taste of him again. His lips rushed to meet my coldness. Ryan’s hands loosened their grip from my back. I could feel his fingers trail up my back rushing over my neck and embracing my face pushing against my cheeks as he pulled me closer. His thumbs, pushing back my cheeks as our lips touched.

The warmth of his breath flowing from his mouth to mine felt like breath on a cold day. I took in the cold tingles with the damp warmth. Cold tingles of excitement embraced me. His body drew closer to mine. The water soaking through his shirt, I rushed my hands up his arms feeling the muscles and shirt arms as they pulled up with my hands. I rushed my hands to his back just below his neck. A little taste of him?

His hands pushed back into my hair. Our lips consumed and collided with each other breathing and taking one another in, unable to break away. The taste of him from each breath was pushing me begging me to taste, just one taste of him. His soft, slightly rugged, skin brushed up against my nose as we moved, each one trying to consume the other. The tastes of him and his desires stirred in me the forgotten desires.

His arms embraced me fusing my naked body to his. I dug my nails in his back, dragging them across his shirt and skin. I wanted to be in his skin, and he in mine. His hands trailed down my back over my ass pulling me closer. Ryan’s arms reached under me lifting me from the water to his body. I did not want to leave the warmth of the shower. I did not want my skin to cool. I pulled him in the shower with me. There was too much force on my end, and we fell against the wall. The curtain rattled in protest, but it was still intact. He scooped me back to him, with his arms around my waist with the water rushing over us.

My hands reached under his shirt as I wrapped my legs around his waist. I ripped his t-shirt from his skin. I needed to feel his skin. Desire had returned, and I could not fight against it. The intoxication drew me in. His smell wrapped over my skin pulling me into its embrace. His tongue warm against mine felt the inside of my mouth. We both were trying to fight against being consumed by this fire. I felt up his back to down over his ass pulling him into me. He did not want to break from me, but he needed breathe.

He rested his head on my clavicle just above my breast taking in deep breaths. His hair trailed down concealing his face. I could not stop. I was caught in the grips of this desire, and I was not going to fight it. The water rushed against his skin bringing his smell to me. My hands caressed up over his chest. He nipped my skin above my breasts trailing down to them. He licked and sucked greedily at my nipple while his other hand played with the other.

My hands caressed over his shoulders and up to the back of his neck. I moved into his touch. His body pinned me against the wall, and I liked it. My fingers pushed into his hair trying to be part of him. One of his hands moved to the small of my back pulling my body to his. I was settled just over his pants and his waiting cock. His other hand moved slowly over my butt. My body ground against his as I wanted him to be inside me, and stay. Neither of us wanted to let go.

He bit my nipple sucking it back with tender strokes. I pushed back from him reaching my fingers to the button on his jeans. He crawled through my skin reclaiming. I pulled down the zipper gliding my fingers over his impatient member. His jeans dropped to the floor of the shower. Nothing else was between us. His fingers slipped into my slick waiting folds. Deliciously, he stroked me with pushing force. Both of us claimed the other. A little fear started to overtake the desire. I could hurt him or kill him.

“Don’t stop,” he panted out giving me permission. I was a little afraid, but the taste of this poison drew me back to him. He was my apple, and I could only hope that I would be the one to sleep at the end of this fairy tale. Pleasure rippled through me, heating the cold blood. I needed to taste him. I needed to know if this was what he wanted. I pushed his fingers out of me and slid off his body. I ran my hand up his thigh and over his balls. I massaged them as I slipped down to my knees.

I bit his thigh taking in his fire-laced blood. I could taste the desire he had for me. I wanted more. I opened my now warmed mouth, slid my tongue over the head, and swirled down the veins. He moaned pushing into my mouth. The girth of his cock swelled at the attention. I licked to his balls and back to the head. I sealed my lips around sucking him slowly delectably taking him deeper. My tongue licked around his hard cock bringing his flavor to me. Another moan had his hand in my hair pushing me closer to consuming him.

“That’s it, baby. Oh, fucking god!” I sucked him as deep as he could go and drew back again licking around. His hands set the pace as I took him back again. I could taste the warmth filling into him. I played and massaged his balls. I could feel them drawing up, as his dick was impossibly hard. He raised his hips to meet my mouth happily becoming undone. I tasted the start of him, and I wanted more. I licked the underside of his tip at the sensitive spot and took him back again. I fastened the pace, and he grunted out pleasure. I stroked him with my hand and my mouth creating more friction. He abruptly pulled me from his dick. He pinned me to the wall pushing my body up.

“Spread your legs, baby, I need you now.”

“Yes.” I complied wrapping my leg around his hip. He moved his erection to the entrance of my slick folds. The head was warm against my skin, and I needed him as much as he needed me. He greedily pushed in as deep as he could get. He set a blistering pace warming every inch of me. He moved his head to the side giving me his neck. I bit down taking the blood.

Desire flooded me. I could taste his desire, and it mingled with mine. I moaned out drinking back the blood. I needed him. My body clenched around his dick trying to hold it as the orgasm built. We both were going too high to stop. I let him in. He could tear me apart, and I would happily rest in pieces. Warmth flooded me with his release as my body came apart with him. I had wanted just a taste, but this was more than I could have expected. He stilled himself after rubbing the last of his erection out.

Moments of time slipped away, and neither of us wanted to be apart. This was not like with Matt. The intoxication was not suffocating and over powering. I had all the power. The water was cooling, and he was tiring. Humans can’t live with them and right now, I don’t want to un-live without them.

The release from both of us left our bodies trembling. The water rushed over our bodies washing them clean. He could not resist the urge to wash me and neither could I. I loved running my hands over his body and down it again. We stepped from the shower moving to his room. He needed to sleep, and I for the moment, did not want to be without him. This was the one last good moment. It had to be.

  Chapter 34

The floor warm with his electricity pulling me to him. His soft flesh was so touchable. He was no longer on the outside, and I was lost in him and only him. I wanted to be free from all the lies of what I was, and what I would become. Here he brought back the human girl he saw with his broken arm. We were both broken then, and maybe now, too. Lying next to him wrapped in a sea of blankets, I was home. I had not felt this kind of peace before.

When I was human, there was no difference to compare it with. We laid there motionless except his sleeping body taking air. His breath in and out was my life. I wanted his life. In that moment, I wanted to give in to any desire he had. We could just go away. We could be something, anything. He… He loved me. I had wanted the truth. The truth, however, was that the only thing I ever wanted to have was this. To be loved, to know that someone thought more of me than a passing moment. Here with him it was more than a passing moment. Here I had something with him and hi
m with me. If only it could stay.

His eyes moved under his lids. He was dreaming. What could he dream of? Could he see our life together? Could he see the life we could have shared? He had made a choice not to see my darkness. With that choice, he also did not see me. How can you see into someone, if you do not look beyond skin deep? You have to see the darkness as well as if there is any light. He was human.

Humans can only see to parts of their choice. I no longer could look at the world that way. His heartbeat called to me as I moved closer to him. He wrapped his arms around me holding me closer to him. His hand so soft and yet firm against my cold back. I laid my head on his chest. I rose and fell with each breath. Each heartbeat calling me to my true nature “Take me, taste me. Please, just one bite.” I wanted to give in. He drew the cover closer to him. His body quivered a bit from my coldness. I wanted to be warm for him. I wanted to end this nightmare and make everything go back.

I had not been listening to anything or anyone. I had let go completely, letting my guard down with him. It was so easy to do. His smell wrapped around my skin. I was drenched with him and drunk with peace. His face had stubble growing ever so slightly. I brushed my fingers to feel the hair as I swept my hand across his face.

This was what I wanted. This was the fairy tale. Too bad the big bad wolf, granny, and this little red riding hood had not ended their story. I let my lips run across his check as I moved to his mouth. The sensation of his hair against my lips felt like touching a leaf’s edge, the jagged hardness of them bending to my will. His lips felt soft and vain like a dried rose. I pressed one kiss to them.

His hand swept across my back as I stood. The floor was still warm and electric with his life. I moved back to the bathroom and grabbed the clothes. I quickly threw them on. As I opened the door, I was greeted by a smell so close to mine. Matt stood at the doorway. His ragged warmth hit me making me feel the desire again to obey him. The death of it hung in the air as the wind swept it past me. His scent was mixed with roses and musk.

What I did not expect was the gun at his waist. The bulge under his black shirt told me where it was. I was sure this was not his only weapon. This was going to happen. He grabbed my hair pulling to make me yield to him. Here was a new hell. I stood there motionlessly. I could feel him rise and hear his footsteps pad over. He was standing beside me ever faithful. Matt’s hand angrily on my shoulder dug in. Did he think he was in charge?

His feeling awakened the rage. It was a black pool that, at any moment, would ooze out of my skin. It was filling me deeper burning in. I wanted to rip him to shreds and leave nothing behind. Matt in front of me, and Ryan beside me and desire to please and kill both flooded my system. I needed Ryan out of the way.

“Little bitch can’t go for long without a dick in you. I guess you will stoop to any level.” His voice commanded my attention, and I felt the desire to obey him, but I bristled at the thought.

“Fuck off. I choose, and I am not going back with you.” Matt sliced open his wrist forcing his blood in me, pinning me across the room against the floor before I reacted.

The hot blood filled me. In with the blood, I could feel the need to please him washing over me. Everything in me felt my high pulsing. I greedily drank him back. He crawled through my skin, and I let him in. Every inch of my body fell to his command. My world was nothing but him. I would follow him anywhere and do anything for just another taste.

Ryan moved toward us. He punched Matt from behind. Matt broke his hold on me. My body slid to the floor. Everything was so warm. Matt turned on Ryan punching back. Both were solid moving forces of men and neither giving the other more than an inch with each blow.

Matt kicked Ryan in the chest sending him to the floor. Ryan got back up rolling to his feet. Matt stocked him like a predator looking for the weakness. Ryan drew in a deep breath and charged at Matt. Matt rolled out of the way, but Ryan grabbed his gun. Matt stood looking at Ryan with a smug stare. Ryan raised the gun and pointed it straight at Matt’s head.

“You going to sit there and not protect me, my little bitch?” His voice commanded me to act. Blood. His blood. I stood stalking toward Ryan. I needed more. I need to feel warm. I charged Ryan, and he shot me. I could feel the cold steel burning into my chest. I dropped for a moment before the rage came. Ryan fired more bullets into me. Each one leaving a new hole bleeding out the warmth I needed. Matt just watched. Protect him. Protect who? I was torn between the heat in my blood and the memories of Ryan.

“Time to make your first kill, or I will kill you.” Matt’s voice was so cold, not like the warmth from before.

Ryan ran from the room. I needed to obey Matt, his voice calling my blood to action. I got up and chased after Ryan. I needed the feelings from him to stop. Everything but the blood needed to stop. He made it outside, and the hands all joined him. So many heartbeats called to me. I could taste them on the air. The darkness in me was willing to do whatever was necessary for the blood. Matt’s thunderous footsteps met us on the porch.

“Kill him, you bitch. Do as your fucking told.” Matt’s words bit me.

The warm blood was almost gone again. I needed the heat to fill me again. It would make everything right again. Desire flooded me again telling me to take the life he wanted. I ran to him and pushed him down. I bit down on Jake’s neck along his strong throbbing vein. Blood pumped into my system. His warmth and alcohol poured into me. His warm hands embraced me pulling me closer to him. Jake wanted to die? A golden blond haired woman came into view. His body warmed to her. She was young and looking at his hands, and so was he.

“Anna, you know how much I love you?”

“No, why would I know that?” Her voice was playful and soft to him. I felt the grin slide over his mouth raising his cheeks.

“From here to the moon is not far enough to show how much I love you.” His gruff voice called to her. He walked over embracing her. She melted into his arms. Jake kissed the top of her head as he held her. The memory started to fade and become cold. I sucked down deeper trying to know it. I needed to know him. Another bullet hit my shoulder making me drop Jake to the ground. Matt stepped up behind me holding me from going after another one. The man knelt down and felt for a pulse.

“There is no heartbeat. What have you done? Why? WHY?” he could not help but scream at me. The darkness in me had won. It was always going to win. I just did not want to accept it.

“Two birds… one stone. Would have liked it if Ryan had been the one but this will do.” The world was silent to me. His blood was just as lifeless as my own. Ryan rose from the hit looking from Jake to me. He bent over him and looked at me. His eyes were dead and devoid of any emotion. “Finally. It took you long enough to get to it. I would have thought you would have taken him.” Matt was part of them.

He had always been. His blood ran cold through me. Matt looked to Ryan with a strange look. Ryan moved next to me. His green eyes were almost ready to cry as they stared into me. He knew why. I was darkness, and this is what the darkness does. He believed what he wanted. There was no saving me. No light to be turned on. Matt stood and faced me with his arms still holding me still. His eyes were as black as night. Let them do what they will. I was going to Hell for this one. Another body and another soul that was racked up.

  Chapter 35

A piercing jab to my stomach washed over me. I did not look at the needle. I knew it all too well. I stared into the empty blackness of what Matt was. He was no more human than I. There would be no fear this time. I would show nothing. I could feel the drug attempting to stop me, to make me still. I would not let it take me anymore. The smell of his body swayed with the breeze.

Death came from the dead. The liquid filled my body making me unmovable. I did not move. My eyes I could feel were darker than his. My vision was only for the beating hearts as they raced in. The boys knew who Matt was. They knew what was going to happen. They knew that the darkness would fill me and leave nothing but the flesh of what the human Emily looked
like. I was a killer through and through. Matt looked for any movement from me.

“This was what had to happen. I had been pushing her to… well, it does not matter now,” Matt called to him. Ryan looked into the darkness, and I could see that, in me, he saw the human. The human he helped them kill. Yet he just wanted me to end it with him. “Clean up the body and bring it back to the lab. We need her.” Matt moved away from me leaving me in Ryan’s embrace. He was one of them, and he was their weapon. I had let him in to the darkness. Ryan, however, was something more. Ryan, I had let into my soul.

They had forced the darkness of my soul to come out. It had made me feel nothing. There had been nothing left to feel for him or from him. He was not alive any longer. The sweeping blue sheet from Ryan’s bed covered him. The electricity of him moved through me like a shadow on the wall. They made me this. They helped to push me to self-destruction. Ryan swept me up in his arms and laid me on the floor. He brushed the hair from my face.

His fingers barely touching my skin, making me feel like a ghost. I was his after-image fading from his sight. I was as good as dead to him now. He played his role. He looked me over. What was he waiting for? They would collect me soon enough. I am sure I would be bound and held together. A rush of warmth to my lips, his hot breath pushed into me one moment. I wanted to move but if I did, he would know I was lying. The drug, although held me at first, it could not keep the darkness at bay.

“I am sorry.” Wetness dripped onto my face. He wiped the salty tears from my face and his.

He closed my eyes. It was as if he were laying me to rest. Maybe he was, for his own purpose. The boys came in. Quickly they bound and tied me. Covered my face with a mask to protect themselves I could only imagine. To Hell I was now going, and Matt was going to pay. He had been a bad dog. Where is a good rolled up newspaper when you need one? The stillness that had washed over me had killed the human side. Darkness was what was left of me. A soulless pit of darkness.
