Mandy never told her father about her divorce with Ian, but when Lee found out, He raced across county against his wife Barb to try to get to their daughter first.

Barb tried desperately to get to Mandy's house first to try to protect her from Lee. They end up arriving at their daughter's house at the exact same time, taking Mandy and her girlfriend Kate by surprise!

Lee tried to murder his daughter right away but didn't succeed.

Kate suggested that Mandy's parents stay with them for a while. Hoping that if Lee saw exactly how a same-sex relationship was, maybe he would change his views.

Mandy's parents stayed with them for a while. Eventually, Lee realized what he had done to his only child. All the pain he had put her through. He felt ashamed. He ends up flashing back to Mandy's childhood and he came to the realization that she is still that sweet little girl! Her sexuality hadn't changed a thing about her. It took Lee a little over eight years to finally accept his daughter for who she is.

Mandy and Kate's relationship grew stronger over the years and they eventually got married. Lee was very happy for both of them!

The two women have a happy marriage and end up raising two beautiful children that they ended up adopting. Mandy sees something very familiar with both the babies eyes. Could they possibly be fathered by Mandy's ex-husband Ian? Who knows, I'll let you, the reader make that conclusion for yourself.

Everyone is capable of changing their minds about things. Especially when it comes to accepting someone's sexuality.

When we are born, we do not know how to hate. We are only taught hate over our lifetime.

When we are born, the first thing we do when our mother's hold us in their arms is we love them.

If you are a parent, and you have a child who is part of the gay community, just love your child for who they are. Nothing has changed about them. They are still the same child you held in your arms the day they were born.

It took Mandy's father many years to accept his daughter for who she is. No matter how hard he tried to prevent his daughter from being a lesbian, she kept fighting through all the difficult times. She stayed true to herself.

Never let anyone change who you are. You are in charge of your own destiny and your own happiness. Not anyone else.

Mandy stayed strong. She never gave in to hate and fear of her father. Love should never be feared. Instead, love should be embraced with kindness and respect.

So, if you are part of the gay community, stay true to yourself when people try to change your sexuality or try to tell you that you are not normal. Nobody is normal on this earth. We are all unique in our own special way. We shouldn't hate others for our differences.

The gay community has made great strides over the past few decades! One by one, many states are making conversion therapy illegal. Hopefully, someday soon, it'll be illegal across the entire United States and hopefully around the world!
