  Something from Love Letters Book

  Love Rewrote My Story

  *****

When everyone closed their hearts to me

LOVE listened to my woes, tenderly.

  When humanity ignored fears passionately,

LOVE obeyed cherished desires quietly, calmly.

  When ignorance quashed my dignity,

  LOVE valued my heredity attentively.

When nary a soul celebrated my feat,

LOVE extolled me & glorified me,

  What a heart rending story!

I wish to dwell in unending serenity,

as He touched my inner feelings fondly

I live to re-tell this LOVING tale forevermore,

as my story reaches distant shores.
