Living My Best Life

Thank you to my talented Super Cool Writing Club pals Stacey Halls, Catriona Innes, Cyan Turan and Sophie Hines – having you all holding my hands and cheering for me has helped me more than you can know.
To every journalist and reviewer who has taken the time to write something nice about this book, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know all too well how many books you get sent each week and the fact you picked up mine and took the time to write about it is humbling. Thank you to all the bloggers who have championed this book and pushed it into the eager hands of readers thanks to their reviews, posts and tweets. Your enthusiasm and energy never cease to amaze me.
As a journalist and reviewer myself, I’ve been lucky enough to meet countless amazing authors and bookish people, and it didn’t take me long to realise that the book world is one of the nicest, most supportive communities there is. So an absolutely massive thank you to the many, many lovely authors, publicists and editors who have gone out of their way to help me on this journey – and continue to encourage, advise and celebrate new and aspiring writers.
Thank you to my mum for being such a proud mummy (if you know Ellie Frost, you’ll know she only gives praise where she really thinks it’s due, so I’ve hopefully done something right with this book!). And to Vicky and Katie for being the best sisters in the world – it is a joy being Frosty Intermediate.
Writing a book takes a good deal of sacrifice, and not just from its author. Thank you Steve for only minding a tiny bit when I have to spend whole days staring at my laptop instead of having adventures with you. And for being the Steve to my Claire for the past twenty years (as well as cooking me tea every night after work!).
She’s had one shout-out already, but a final thank you to my fairy bookmother, SJV. You are not only a total hoot, you are also my biggest cheerleader and supporter. I owe you a huge G&T.
Claire Frost grew up in Manchester, the middle of three sisters. She always wanted to do a job that involved writing, so after studying Classics at Bristol University she started working in magazines. For the last ten years she’s been at the Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, where she is Assistant Editor and also responsible for the title’s book reviews. She can mostly be found at her desk buried under a teetering TBR pile. You can follow her on Twitter: @FabFrosty, and Instagram: @therealfabfrosty.
