That Christmas Eve: A Brother’s Best Friend Baby Romance Page 6

by Ford, Mia

I probably should check around to see if anyone can see us, but I can’t seem to drag my gaze away from him. I’m giddy with lust, totally all consumed by Josiah.

“This is your idea, huh?” I ask before dragging his mouth to mine.

We kiss hard and fast, he hooks my leg up against the wall and it goes willingly. He presses himself between my thighs reminding me exactly what it feels like to have him deep inside of me. His hands are all up in my hair, making a massive mess of the wavy style I created with such care earlier tonight. Then they slide down my body, cupping my breasts, and rubbing my hips and stomach. We’re in public, but I honestly don’t give a shit.

“Oh fuck!” His lips caress and suck my neck, probably leaving a mark. “Josiah, wow!”

He trails his fingers over the outside of my panties, touching me, but never quite touching me. It’s so frustrating. I keep rolling myself towards him, hoping that he’ll give it up and just touch me already. But he doesn’t give in. It seems that he’s quite content with just teasing me here.

“Josiah.” I grab his tee shirt and press myself against him. “You are driving me crazy.”

“I am?” He smirks, satisfied with himself. “Well, I don’t know if the good girl is allowed a night away from home. That’s my problem.” His hot breath tickles my lips, creating sparkles. “So, I’m wondering if I should just corrupt you here and now. Make a real bad girl out of you in this filthy alleyway.”

Much as it’s appealing to really let loose and shake off the ‘good girl’ image, it seems like Josiah just invited me to his home and I’m far too curious to give up the chance to see it. Plus, we do need to keep this a secret and being arrested for indecent exposure or whatever, will definitely blow my cover.

“One, I am an adult…” I laugh at his expression. He knows as well as I do that it doesn’t really matter when it comes to my parents. I left a teenager and they still treat me as one. “Two, I can be at Maddie’s…”

I fire off a quick text to her as Josiah hails a cab, which isn’t the easiest job on New Year’s Eve. I don’t think there is much chance that my parents will call to check, but it’s best to have her in on the lie. She immediately sends me a reply glad for me that I’m finally getting what I always wanted… how little she knows.

Josiah finally sorts out a cab and we sit close in the back of it together. As he reels off his address, I don’t know why I’m surprised to hear that it’s in a rich neighborhood. He is a wealthy man now. It’s just such a far cry from the orphanarium. But to be fair, if I had come from nothing and now I have everything, then I would do the same. If anyone deserves this, it’s him. I just can’t wait to see it, to learn more about him.

His leg brushes against mine and every so often his hand clamps down on my thigh. I can’t help smiling brightly at him, feeling on top of the world. Josiah could so easily be done with me, he had his fun, I have been his notch on his bed post already, but still, he wants to hang out.

Maybe he meant something different when he said that I was worth the risk.

Perhaps the risk is something much bigger than I gave him credit for. Maybe he really does want me.

I shiver with excitement, desperately hoping that he does, even if it will make my life a whole lot more complicated.

“Oh… my… goodness…” Paisley spins around in my hallway with pure wonder in her eyes. “Is this actually your home? This is insane. It’s beautiful and massive too. You must really love it here.”

“You know what,” I reply smilingly. “I really do. I didn’t grow up with much space, or privacy too, so this has always been a welcome change for me. I never take it for granted because I know what it’s like to have nothing.” I’m being way more honest than I usually am with guests, but that’s because I’ve always known Paisley, even if I haven’t spent a lot of time with her before now. But I feel comfortable with her. “You like it?”

“I love it. God, I would adore to live in a place like this. It’s just so…”

She races into the living room without even bothering to finish that sentence, gasps of joy coming from her. I watch her, laughing, as she takes turns in sitting in all of my chairs and making appreciative comments about the size of my television. Her parents only have a tiny screen and she probably didn’t have anything in college. My heart does ball up in my throat a little as she heads towards the photographs, but I don’t immediately turn her away like I normally would. Not that I very often bring women here, I normally go to their place, so I can escape when I need to. But again, I’m so comfortable around Paisley, I don’t mind her nosing around.

“Oh, I don’t ever think I have seen this picture of you and Adam.” I wait for the bolt of guilt to come with her brother’s name, but here at my place, it feels too distant from us. “It’s nice. And who is this?”

“That’s Dax,” I reply as I move closer to her. “He was one of my good buddies in the orphanarium. I actually saw him the other day and he’s going to come to work for me in my business.”

“Ah, that’s awesome! That’s really kind of you, I bet he’s really happy about that.”

“He is, but he’ll be good for the company as well. I’m glad to have him.”

Her hand rests on the edge of the next photo frame and my hand joins her there. I haven’t yet told her who the image is of, but she doesn’t need to ask. I look so much like my parents it’s crazy. Every time I feel like I’m truly alone in this world, I look up at this picture and I’m reminded that I might not have them, but I do have their genetics. It’s nice to have their looks inside of me, anchoring me to them.

“Your mom was so beautiful,” she murmurs, making me smile. “Your dad too.”

“I know. Although, I wonder if I would feel the same way if I grew up with them. Maybe I would be annoyed by them just like everyone else seems to be with their parents. I doubt I’d appreciate them as much.”

“No, probably not,” she agrees. “But they would be very proud of you.”

Her words touch me so much that I actually get a bit choked up. She has an effect on me that no one else manages to have. I’m usually stoic, like stone, I am definitely in trouble with this one.

“Shall we get a drink?” I eventually blurt out, purely to distract my emotions.

“Sure. Sounds nice.” Then she follows me into the kitchen where she continues to marvel. Half the gadgets I don’t even use in this kitchen, but Paisley raves about them as if I’m the luckiest man alive.

I pour her a drink and hand it to her. Paisley takes a dainty sip from it but then puts it down where it will probably be left for the night. I get why she’s doing that. I don’t feel like I need a drink when I’m around her either. She’s so intoxicating, my head spins already with her around. I follow suit and leave mine.

“You want a tour of the place?” I blurt out. “Oh, sorry, did that sound really obnoxious?”

“No not at all,” she giggles. “I would love for you to show me around your incredible home.”

We move from room to room, all the while I tell her about my home as if I’m a realtor or something. Luckily, Paisley doesn’t seem to care, she laps it all up perfectly, asking questions and making jokes as we go around. I grow warmer to her with every passing second, all I want to do is wrap my arms around her, but I know where that will lead, and for now, I’m surprisingly happy to just talk to Paisley. She’s lovely company.

“Oh wow, and this is your bedroom.” Instead of eyeing up the bed, she makes her way over to the window instead and admires the view. “Wow. You got a good view of the city from up here, don’t you?”

I go and stand next to her, seeing the view through brand new eyes. Admittedly I have gotten used to it over time, so this is a really nice reminder. The world is a beautiful place and I have a good position in it.

“I would much rather be here with you than in some noisy club.”

“Me too,” I agree wholeheartedly. “This is a mu
ch better place to be.”

I circle my arms around her waist and bury my face into her neck, breathing in her delicious scent. We remain where we are just standing for a while, holding on to one another as we block the rest of the world out.

Eventually, we leave the window and we move back down the stairs to watch the New Year’s celebrations unravel on the television, but to be honest we barely watch. It’s more background noise while we chat. I am never like this. When I have a woman in my house, it’s straight to business, but I want to learn more about Paisley. She fascinates me. I find myself clinging on to every word she gives me.

“… so yeah, as I’m sure you know from Adam, it wasn’t the best growing up like that.” She chuckles and rolls her eyes, but I know the pain is real. She’s just trying to cover it up a little. “They were so strict. I mean, they still are, but I don’t quite have to listen to them in the same way, and they have such funny ideas about things.”

“I remember Adam telling me that they want to pick out his wife?”

That was strange at the time, but it didn’t quite connect with me, so I barely paid any attention. But now, for some reason, when the same comes to Paisley, it affects me in a different way. Almost as if I want to be the one to marry her which is nuts because I really don’t know if I’m the marrying kind.

“Yeah,” Paisley rolls her eyes. “I don’t know if he minds either which is crazy. He’s so good at following their rules. I mean, he wasn’t so much when he was younger, when you used to lead him astray.” She wiggles her eyebrows playfully at me. “But now he’s grown much better at it. Whereas I’ve gotten worse…”

“Hmm, because I’m leading you astray… maybe I am the common theme here.”

She rakes her eyes up and down me. “Yeah, I think you might be, you know.”

“So, do you think you’ll be happy with who they pick for you?” Those words leave a lump in my throat.

“Oh, I won’t marry anyone they pick out for me. Come off it, I’m not like that.”

“There’s a little tiger in you, isn’t there?” That thrills me to the core. I want to unleash that even more, to experiment with what this wild animal has to offer. “Not the kitty you pretend to be.”

She shrugs one shoulder. “I don’t think I pretend to be; I think everyone just assumes that about me.”

“It’s always nice to break the mold, isn’t it?” I nod slowly. “People have always assumed that I’m a certain way as well because I grew up in care, but it’s fun to show them I’m not.”

That should change the mood, with anyone else it definitely would. In all honesty, that’s why I don’t bring it up anymore. No one knows what to say and they don’t like to talk about it. But with Paisley, I know it’s okay. She has always known, and it’s never been weird. Sure, her parents don’t like me because of it, but it hasn’t ever bothered her or Adam. As far as I know anyway. They were always welcoming. Well Adam was, and I don’t ever remember Paisley sending me away. I remember she always had a smile for me.

“Do you ever think about your time in the care system now, or do you prefer to forget it?”

“Oh no, I always remember it. It made me who I am today. It was what it was at the time, it wasn’t always perfect, but I got through it just about with my dignity intact, so I’m happy with that.”

“Yeah, you do have a great strength.” She grins at me, warming up my chest again. “I admire that.”

“Well, it seems like we both didn’t have the easiest childhood, did we? But we’re making life work.”

“You more than me.” She nudges me playfully in the side. “You are really successful now, aren’t you? What with your company and your house… I have just finished college and I don’t have a job yet.”

“A lot of this was handed to me from my parents, don’t forget that. And you have only just finished your education. You have the whole world stretched ahead of you at the moment. The world is your oyster.”

She nods and grins as if she really believes this too which is good. The moment she stops believing in herself will be the moment she struggles to get a job. I wouldn’t wish that on her.

“And look.” She points to the TV and I follow her eye line. “It’s almost a new year, which is always a great time to open a new life chapter, don’t you think? I’m going to make sure I succeed this year.”

I slide closer to her as the anticipation builds. On the television and between us. It seems like this whole night has been building up to a New Year kiss and now we’re almost here. I curl my fingers around the edge of the couch and wait for everyone to start chanting as the countdown begins. Paisley darts eyes towards me every so often and I can see the excitement building in her too. She knows this is about to happen.

“Ten…” the people on the TV begin to chant. “Nine..., eight… seven…” I move even closer to her. “Six… five… four…” I wrap my arm around her shoulder. “Three…” She tilts her head towards me. “Two…” Her breath tickles my lips, creating the most incredible wave of electricity. “One… Happy New Year!”

I can’t resist her any longer. I lean in a kiss her, connecting with her at last. It feels like this has been building for hours, so by the time her tongue slips into my mouth, my pulse is already racing like mental. I snake my arms around her waist and I slide her closer to me, eventually pulling her on to my lap. Her butt rests on my cock which grows harder by the moment, a deep thrill building when I think about how I’m going to be doing in the new year. With this gorgeous sexy woman that I am definitely falling for, holding her in my bed.

“Happy New Year, Paisley,” I murmur quietly to her.

“Yeah, Happy New Year,” she says back. “It’s going to be a good one.”

The kissing intensifies, and she eventually moves her hips back and forth, grinding on me. The sexy sleek dress that she probably spent hours picking out for tonight rumples up around her waist, but she doesn’t seem to care. Even less so when I dip my fingers into her lacy underwear and I brush my hand down her soaking wet clit.

“Mmm, Josiah.” She runs her fingers through my hair. “That feels fucking incredible.”

I plunge my fingers deeper into her, massaging between her folds. Her walls clamp tightly around me as she pulses. I fuck her hard and fast with my fingers and she rolls her hips, pushing me in deeper.

“Oh, Josiah.” She tosses her head back, her hair spilling down her back. “Oh shit.”

I wonder if I can recreate the last time we were together, and I can make her come multiple times. Oh, who the hell am I kidding? Of course, I can. Her body is like a musical instrument and I know how to play it. But before I can pull any of the same moves from last time she shocks me by pulling away and sliding to her knees. She falls to the ground and starts working my zip open eagerly, almost hungrily. I watch her lick her lips, almost as if she’s desperate for a taste of me, which turns me on even more. I’m already hard as a rock, but somehow, I feel even more blood rushing to my cock, at almost an uncontrollable level.

“Fuck, Paisley, you are just too much.” She pulls my cock out and smiles at me. “You are too sexy for words.”

She presses her lips against my length, kissing me ever so gently. My cock twitches for her, begging her to put me in between her lips, which she doesn’t at first. She continues to run her lips up and down me, kissing me all over. It’s a strange sensation, but a hot one that has my heart hammering hard.

I grip on to the couch cushions as her tongue darts out and she licks me in odd places. My tip, my shaft, my balls. Each little lick is a deviously little thrill sent directly from the dirtiest part of my mind. She is a live porno, a sex show, just for me. A fantasy that has now been dragged from my mind and plucked into reality.

“Stop… stop teasing me,” I mutter, my voice shaking with intense need. “I need you, Paisley.”

Like a dream come true, she parts that gorgeous mouth of hers and she shocks me by taking me all the way to the back of her throat. Talk a
bout good girl gone bad, maybe I can’t corrupt her after all, because she’s already wild. An animal that I have unleashed and that I am now going to explore every damn sexy inch of.

Yep, her plump lips look just as fucking hot as I knew they would be when I first laid eyes on her again. They seem to have a natural redness to them, she doesn’t even need lipstick as she bobs her head up and down. I groan and toss my head back as her lips send me spinning. She keeps up the action of running her tongue all over me as she goes. Licking me like I’m a damn lollipop, which is far too intense for me.

“Oh fuck.” I tie my fingers up in her hair, enjoying the feel of the movement of her head. “Fuck, Paisley.”

She moans with pleasure as she takes all of me in once more, the sound vibrating all the way to my base. Without warning, my whole body stiffens, the pleasure gets intense. I’m worried that I’m going to lose it already. I can’t explode yet, not like this, however much I fucking want to fill that incredible mouth of hers with my seed. I will probably be able to go again very quickly, but I have the deep urge to be inside her right now.

I guide her head a couple more times before I pull her off me. She gives me a surprised look as if she didn’t expect me to do that, but her lips curl back up in to a smile when she sees the lust remaining in my eyes.

“Strip,” I command playfully. “I want to see you strip.”

I grab the remote and press play on the CD player, bringing to life the smooth jazz song I was listening to before. As she stands in the middle of the room and she shakes her hips in time to the music, I’m struck by how different this time is to last. We were sneaking around then, trying to hide and not be heard. This time we have lights and music, and we can be as loud as we want. I have a big place and no one to worry about.

As she slides off the spaghetti strap of her dress, I have to say I think I prefer it here. I like this wild kitty cat side of her. She’s too damn exciting.
