A Journey Into Unknown

  "I don't know anything about you, but you have more thing to know about yourself than you think. You are just a regular person who were born in this universe, yet able to sustain these huge abilities," Green Ernica said, " I don't know the actual reason... and now I have told you everything that could be meaningful to you. Now, let me die in peace."

  Then she died. Her energy got dissolved into empty space and her soul were transferred to Soul world. Mark saw her soul going to its destination.

  After death of green Ernica, Trepon said, "I always thought that how Ernica made Emily, but now I have the answer. She was from different realm... I don't know what other evil things she must have done to execute her plan."

  Then only Tecton realized that what he said, when he saw Emily's face... and that tears. He tried to correct his word, "No... no... I didn't mean that you are evil."

  "It's okay... I know that you didn't mean it, but it's a fact. I am a part of evil," Emily said sobbing and she went away.

  CHAPTER 39

  To the Rescue

  Whatever just happened... and what Emily realized, it broke her.

  "I always thought that I am a good person. Whenever I did bad thing... I regretted the most for that. But now I don't know that how would I be able to live knowing that I was always a part of evil," Emily said with broken heart. Her eyes seemed to look for finding something within herself which she had lost. She lost herself in her memory for a moment. Her mouth opened again and she asked Mark, "Will we ever be able to get what we want? Is there any world exist where only we will live and we will not have to think about anything else?"

  Mark said consoling Emily, "I can't tell you the thing that I don't know. But I believe that there a world exists for peace and I believe that I will be able to take you there one day. Only we will be there... we will find a beautiful planet there and we will live like a normal people without any powers. We will watch and observe the beauty of sunrise and sunset... and we will not spend even a single moment on solving the mystery of nature and trying to figure out a way to win the war. We will just observe the beauty of nature and will live in peace."

  "An impossible thing to do... yet very convincing," Emily said, "Are you made to always talk positively? How do you do that? Everything is falling apart... and yet you think that you will make everything right. How did you get that much hope?"

  "I don't want to think about hope or future right now," Mark said, "I just want to do what we should do right now. I know sometime hope gives more pain, but we have no choice. Without hope, I don't want to live like dead. We don't have much time left before Ypritte will come here and destroy everything. We will need to make a plan."

  Then they all gathered together because they knew that when Ypritte will find a way to reach there, no one will able to stop him.

  "So, what you will do now," Emily asked.

  "I have to find Tecton," Mark said.

  "What... what... how..." Trepon asked... mostly stammered.

  Mark said, "I have already met his consciousness. I can go there again... and will ask where Tecton is, if he is alive yet then."

  "You don't know in which dimension, you met Tecton," Trepon said reading Mark's mind, "And even if you know, you can't set in which universe you want to go. You can't approach in a same way that you did to return from a dark universe."

  "I know..." Mark said after realizing that his mind's protection was not active and Trepon was reading his mind, "But now I can control that in which universe I want to go. I have seen Creator when he created that wormhole for me to come here... and now I know what I have to do."

  He added, "I don't have control that in which universe, I will land... but I know that some of me will definitely reach to Tecton's consciousness and whoever will go to wrong place, he will instantly revert back and come back here.

  "But you remember that you have only one device to create wormhole," Emily reminded him.

  "I know," Mark said, "That device was kept somewhere else and each one of me can access that simultaneously."

  Mark was ready to split himself, but Trepon stopped him. Trepon said, "By comparing the number of universes out there, your probability of landing in front of Tecton's consciousness is very close to zero. You can't do this... you can't jump in dark without having any clue."

  "So, what I should do now," Mark asked.

  "We will have to figure out or at least narrow down the possible number of places where he can be," Trepon said.

  "And how we will do this," Mark asked.

  "You will have to tell me everything that he said to you when you met him," Trepon said.

  Mark said, "Ok... He didn't tell me much... always gave some excuses that his place is not same as ours... and he can't tell me everything. But he told me that he was in between different dimensions... and..."

  "What..." Trepon interrupted, "How he can be in between dimensions... Maybe he had lied or hid the reality. Tecton was just like us... how can his consciousness be trapped in between dimensions."

  Mark continued, "Also he said a term 'Monarc' and said that this is equivalent to time for them."

  Trepon said, "I don't know what is the meaning of 'Monarc', but we can try to find about this."

  "How..." Emily asked who was quiet for a long.

  "We can ask from our holy flame which revealed the Ernica's secret... maybe that can help us," Trepon said.

  They all went to holy chamber and asked that green flame to provide some clue about 'Monarc', but surprise to everyone... that green flame started talking. It said, "This is not possible for me to explain this term to you. Just so you know that it is time equivalent for fifth dimension beings."

  They all were shocked when that green flame talked first, but the information it gave... it was more shocking and scarier.

  "What..." Mark said in disbelief.

  Green flame continued, "I can't explain you anymore, but I know that you want to meet Tecton's consciousness. If you want, I can take you there."

  "Really... you can do this..." Trepon asked.

  "Ok... so who made this holy chamber and this green flame," Mark asked Trepon.

  "I don't know for sure, but there is a rumour that Tecton rearranged its ability and made it more powerful to make us see many things," Trepon said.

  Emily suspected. She told Mark, "Do you think that Tecton wanted to meet you... or maybe he knew that where his consciousness would end up. So, he gave this flame ability to make a path for us."

  "Maybe... you are right," Mark said, "But we will able to know this only after we would meet his consciousness again."

  "Ok... I and Trepon will go there. You should wait here, Emily," Mark said to Emily.

  "No... I will go too," Emily said, "You know that I was there at once... and that place isn't unsafe for me."

  "Wait a minute..." Mark said, "How could you remembered this," Mark asked.

  "I didn't remember," Emily said, "Trepon told me. He came to know about this by reading your mind."

  "Wow..." Mark said to Trepon, "So now you know everything about me."

  However, Emily interrupted in middle, "The point is that you can't take all my decision."

  Mark said, "Ok... you should come with us."

  "Really..." Emily said in delighted tone.

  "Are you asking me... yet," Mark said sarcastically.

  "No... I am just happy," Emily said.

  "So only we three are left along with our bunch of armies to save as well as restore the whole multiverse," Trepon said, "I wish Tecton would be with us. He sacrificed himself for us and is trapped in fifth dimension."

  "Why you care about it," Mark said, "even after none of you ever knew anything about Tecton for sure."

  "We haven't seen him, but we know about him," Trepon said.

  "You know about him the only thing you were told to believe," Mark said.

  "What do you want me to say then," Trepon said.

  Mark said, "You can't understand what I
learnt about this world. This world is a cruel place... I learnt this hard way. I lived alone for my whole life... in fear... when I hadn't any powers. Through my journey, I understood that we can go to any extent to survive, to achieve our goal. So I can't believe anything about Tecton until I would know everything about him."

  "What's your point," Trepon asked.

  Mark said, "I just want to say that Tecton may not be the same as we think."

  "What are you talking about," Trepon said being a little ignorant and showing disbelief.

  "Ok... let me ask you something. How Ernica was able to create Emily," Mark asked Trepon.

  Trepon replied, "Because Ernica belonged to fifth dimension and so Emily is like three-dimensional shadow of her."

  Mark said, "And Tecton made me... all my powers... don't you think that he may have merged his powers with me. In a way... he created me. Ernica belonged to higher dimension and she was able to made Emily. Tecton made me... and his consciousness is in fifth dimension. I don't think this is just a coincidence."

  Emily asked, "So, you think that Tecton has something to do with all this that is happening."

  Mark said, "I can't be sure, but green Ernica said that there is someone else too in our universe which belongs to higher dimension. I suspect that she was talking about Tecton."

  "But if he would be the one, then his aim is must be to return his home," Emily said.

  Mark said, "But I am afraid that what he is doing right now. We saw the powers of Ernica. We can only imagine what powers does Tecton hold and what he can do with it. I am not even sure that he is really trapped in fifth dimension or he wants us to believe that he is trapped there."

  "So, what we should do," Trepon asked. Maybe he also started thinking that Mark may be right. However, this discussion pushed his thoughts and believe in dark, but he seemed alright and he tried to part of future whatever it would be.

  Mark said, "If Trepon is right and Tecton really rearranged the ability of green flame, then this means that he really wanted to meet us... and we will have to go there. Because whatever Tecton wants we will see that later, but our first priority should be saving the multiverse from Ypritte... and we need Tecton's help for that."

  Emily said, "I think you are right."

  Trepon also agreed with them.

  Then they all jumped into the wormhole created by that green flame to meet Tecton's consciousness.

  "Welcome again... Mark," Tecton's consciousness said.

  "So, if you are his consciousness, then can you tell me if he is alive or not," Trepon asked.

  Tecton said, "Well... I hid one thing from you. I am not the consciousness only... I am Tecton and as you can see that I am alive, but trapped here..."

  "In fifth dimensional world... and yet you survived," Mark interrupted.

  "Yes, you are right... that green flame told you about this. There is some force here which cares everyone as you can see that you are all alive yet," Tecton said, "But only you can help me... Mark."

  "How I can help you," Mark asked.

  Tecton said, "I will tell you everything after you will kill Ypritte because you are not that powerful yet to help me. You will have to absorb Ypritte's energy after killing him. Then only you could be able to help me. You know the way... you can come to me again after killing Ypritte. Then we will find the Quantum data about this whole multiverse and will send that to Creator to restore everything."

  "How do you know about that," Mark asked.

  Tecton said, "I know everything."

  "Okay... but how I can defeat Ypritte? I tried to fight with him, but everything passed through him like he doesn't even exist," Mark said.

  Tecton said, "You know the answer... Ypritte himself told you that once. Just try to remember... Mark."

  Mark tried to remember all the encounter with Ypritte... and he got able to remember. He said Tecton, "He told me once that unlike us, he doesn't have soul."

  "Yes... Mark," Tecton said, "So to fight with him, you first have to insert a soul within him."

  "What... how..." Mark asked in disbelief.

  "I know that you can't get a soul of anybody which belonged to your universe. But you can get the soul of anyone else which do not belong to your universe," Tecton said.

  Emily asked, "But how?"

  "You don't need to know the answer. Just take this," Tecton said giving Mark a box. He said, "There is Ernica's soul in this box. You can use this."

  Then Tecton created a wormhole and all three came back to that place from where they had left.

  "What do you think of Tecton? Do you still think that he is someone else," Trepon said.

  This time Emily said, "What are you saying? Did you really see him? Tecton knows everything. How can he knew everything that why we were there... because he had already planned everything. Moreover, he kept telling... 'Your Universe'... as this is not his universe."

  Mark said, "Yes... Tecton is someone else. We will find that one day, but first we have to stop Ypritte."

  CHAPTER 40

  Journey to the End

  They came back from that said Fifth dimensional world having all the resources to defeat Ypritte for once and all. They got little distracted on thinking about Tecton, but they are ready to take vengeance. This is their initiation of war to save the multiverse because after killing Ypritte, this mission would stand a chance... and so they were ready. They just have to wait for Ypritte... and they knew that Ypritte isn't too far.

  As it was expected Ypritte found out the way to enter. But when he come, he looked more dangerous that what Mark and others have imagined. He was angry on his loss. He has left the hope and now he knew only one thing... vengeance. After losing every other friend of him, he left wanting the survival. He hasn't any interest in living anymore. He doesn't care now if he lives or dies... and it made him much more dangerous. He entered Glacor, which was the last hope of survival of humanity, with fire in his eye. He burned almost every one of their army in an instant.

  Trepon volunteered himself to fight with him... and tried all his powers towards Ypritte, but as it had to happen that all passed through Ypritte. But this attracted his attention towards Trepon. However, instead of killing Trepon in a moment, he came close to Trepon to see the fear in Trepon's eye. As anyone would feel just before death, Trepon was afraid in spite of being an elite warrior. On seeing this he got little calm and closed his eyes before killing Trepon.

  Mark knew that he can't save Trepon from there, but he saw this situation as an opportunity and threw the box towards Trepon. Without wasting a moment Trepon opened the box and released Ernica's soul which straightaway went into Ypritte. Trepon succeeded, but he wasn't supposed to celebrate this success as next energy beam of Ypritte passed through his heart tearing him apart. Mark saw Tecton dying, but it wasn't time to think about that. Without wasting any moment, Mark used his energy blast. It collided with Ypritte proving that he is not invincible anymore.

  Then war started among them, but Ypritte was alone. He couldn't sustain Mark's energy blast and Emily's thunderbolt both at once and soon they had him. But Mark didn't kill Ypritte as he had to know the answer to some question... about Tecton.

  Ypritte told laughing, "You wouldn't win even after killing me. There is something much bigger than me and you both. Do you really think you can defeat..."

  As Ypritte was about to take a name of that creature, an energy beam went straight through Ypritte's mind killing him in an instant... and next moment was more socking. They saw the Ernica's soul coming out of Ypritte's body... and they saw the energy beam combining together to form a body. It wouldn't take much time for them to figure out that Ernica is being alive again. In next moment Ernica was alive, but her eyes were in disbelieve perhaps she didn't think that she would become alive again. Mark tried to went after her again, but then suddenly he saw Ypritte's body disposing and forming colored gases. That gases dissolved into Mark's body.

  Mark recalled Tecton's w
ord when Tecton had said that he would have to absorb the power of Ypritte. Only then he would be able to help Tecton. Now, it wasn't mystery anymore that who was the other one from different realm... It was Tecton himself. With huge amount of planning and calculating incident based on probabilities, Tecton and Mark's situation reached to this moment. It wouldn't be a wild guess that Tecton wanted to return to his home. Now, they both needed each-other. Mark needed Tecton to retrieve the information and Tecton needed Mark to make a home for him. They were in the end of war.

  But it wasn't that simple. Tecton had told Mark to come back to him, but Mark knew that going there again with the help of that green flame would be like going towards prey without any precaution. But Mark had one more chance... and he had to use it. This time he knew where Tecton is and he could imagine the image that he saw there. By that image, he could make a pathway to that virtual 5th dimensional space. He calculated the exact moment and exact energy to create a wormhole which could lead them to Tecton. He created wormhole successfully and he and Emily passed through that wormhole to have a final encounter with Tecton and Ernica.

  "Can you see the grid... It is visible now, we are close," Emily said being excited.

  Mark was happy too, but suddenly his expression turned into sadness. He said, "We are not close... we are far away from that grid, millions of light years away."

  "What..." Emily said as Mark was kidding, "I can see the grid, now. How can we be that much far away?"

  Mark said, "Now... you can estimate the size and intensity of that grid. We can see that from millions of light years away. Can you imagine how much brighter and hotter that grid would be."

  "So... how we can reach there," Emily said, "We will die in middle of our aim. Can't you make any wormhole now."

  "This is not space," Mark said being irritated.

  As they were talking about this, they felt like someone is pulling them. They started getting pulled millions of time faster than light. They couldn't sustain this and fainted. When they woke up, they were on a grid.
