Suck the Savage Beast
Page 9
I jerked my gaze back to the guys fighting. Beast was taking the last one down, stabbing it repeatedly as Kurt shot at its limbs. “As soon as they…” I never finished the sentence. A limb wrapped around my calf and knocked me right off my damn feet. “Beast!” I screamed. The guns in my belt fell to the ground as I was pulled upside down. They didn’t plan for this shit when they made holsters! I grabbed hold of the ship as Kurt shot at the octopus. The thing then took off, dragging me, painfully I might add, with it. Another limb slithered around my waist as we made it to the dark woods. Think, Well, fucking think!.
The gun.
It was still strapped around my neck. I grasped it, adjusting so I could aim it and blasted the fucker’s limb in half. My waist was free, the grip on my ankle loosened but retightened as the creatures roared and turned around to face me. Great, now it was hauling me upside down again. “Beast!” He was my only fucking hope.
The octopus roared and flung a limb at the gun. Good hit too, the weapons jerked from my grip and the strap started to tug on my neck. I coughed briefly before the same limb hit the gun again and snapped the strap. My only weapon fell to the ground.
Geniuses aren’t supposed to be eaten!
I screamed and punched the damn thing in its ugly, beady face. Sounds badass doesn’t it? Except there isn’t much power behind my hits and all I managed to do was piss the thing off. Its eyes narrowed, the limb tightened around both my legs now. Another wrapped around my right arm and yanked. The next roar I heard wasn’t from the creature.
“Beast.”
He flew over me and landed right on the things head, stabbing then swinging out of the way. He growled so loud I heard him from where I was hanging. The octopus let me go and I fell to the ground, ass first, and rolled out of the way. I scrambled to my feet, pain flaring all over but I kept looking for the gun. The octopus collapsed to the ground. One limb swinging in a last attempt to hit Beast. He easily avoided it and flipped forward. One swipe and he ended the fight.
I stumbled to my feet, falling forward and into his arms. “Is this where you pick me up and carry me home?”
Beast grunted. He pulled away, stared down at me, and winced.
“I’m okay.” I probably looked worse streaked with dirt and octopus blood. I was only bruised. And exhausted. And oddly hungry but I was in one piece. “My father? The others?” I spun around, limping slightly as I found the elusive gun. The ship was right where we left it, my father and the passengers were being helped out by Kurt. “Run. That way.” I pointed. Four men and three women started sprinting. I guess after seeing the octopus for the first time I’d run too.
****
The moment I dashed through the fence and its sickly glow lit up the night I knew something was wrong. My father Tage wasn’t here. I thought he’d be the first one at my side but he wasn’t. It only took me a second to see why. Deviant and the others had managed to leave the camp, cross the woods and make it here. He was hugging Tage. My fathers were reunited. I stood there a moment to watch them, smiling.
“Hurt?” Beast put an arm over my shoulders.
“You were crazy. A good crazy.” I leaned into him. “Thanks for saving me. Again.” Why was it the few times I couldn’t save myself, Beast had been there? “I thought I was going to be eaten.” I laid my head against Beast’s chest. “Thanks for helping us. For being there.” I was staring up into his eyes and my mouth was just kind of going off. I was blabbering on because there was way too much I wanted to say but didn’t dare.
The fences sizzled and the approaching octopus backed off with a roar.
“Oh, kiss our ass,” I shouted at it, still holding Beast. I knew it didn’t accomplish anything but I felt better. “I have to check the power output.” I untangled myself. “Don’t go too far. I want to introduce you to my father, Tage.”
Beast grunted.
I wasn’t sure if that was a good sound or a bad one. I ran up the ramp and found Lily embraced by Deviant and Tage. She was crying, stringing words along that were too muddled to understand.
Deviant reached out, grabbed a handful of my shirt and pulled me toward them.
I grinned as we had a family hug. It wasn’t something we normally did, despite being pretty close. “You’re all welcome.” They all stared at me. “For saving your lives.” I smiled wide.
Deviant slapped me in the shoulder but Lily and Tage chuckled.
“I really didn’t think I’d see any of you again,” Tage said softly. “It was a miracle we landed. Then those things came out of the woods.” He shivered and Deviant held him closer. “If it wasn’t for you and your friend there I think … I think I wouldn’t be here.”
“Boyfriend,” Deviant said with a frown.
Tage lifted an eyebrow in surprise. “Really?”
Deviant grinned. “Welliver likes bad boys just like his father.”
“Inappropriate!” Tage said then smiled and hugged him once more.
“Dad, what happened? You weren’t supposed to leave until we radioed it was safe.” Lily asked.
I grabbed the handheld from her and double checked the power quickly. It was at ninety percent and holding. I bumped it up to one hundred because I knew for a fact the monsters were circling us in the dark.
“The storm.” Tage sat down. “The dust storm. It just kept getting worse. We were trying to prepare for it but no one expected it to be that bad. The pilot, Marklus, thought we should take off before it became so bad that we couldn’t.” Tage ran his hands over his face. “The last I heard the winds were blowing out windows and the sand was clogging air filters. The other ships were secured as far as I know but I don’t know if there will be anyone left to use them.”
“More than half of our club is up there,” I blurted.
“I know, son. I know.” Tage looked up. “I’ve never seen a dust storm like that, Deviant. Never. I don’t know if they’ll be any survivors.”
Chapter Fourteen
We could only monitor the storm and wait for it to clear so we could contact Mars. The only thing to do while we waited for that to happen is to fortify the camp, try to fix the spaceships and hope. Lily was using the handheld from the second ship. I think that’s the only thing that survived my father’s flying and it’s not like there’s a lot of resources down here to make more. She was monitoring the other planet now. I sat with her for a while, and my fathers took a walk. Thankfully, Peter was keeping his distance. I think we scared the shit out of him. Serves the fucker right. My thoughts kept going back to my friends on Mars, my brothers. There were still so many people up there. The chance of survival was slim, okay like forty percent based on wind speeds and dust twisters, but still. Humans were resilient if nothing else.
“Well, you can go if you want.” Lily gave me a pat on the arm.
“I’m fine.” Oh shit, I sounded like Beast on that one. I grinned and turned away from the glassless window. The day had passed since my father’s ship landed. We’d managed to get one ship working, the one behind the fence and bring it to the city. It rested between the buildings. The ship’s engine was strong enough to give us a perimeter around this building and Beast’s. We had to use whatever conductors we could find so it was a lot of mismatched metal. Not that it mattered as long as they connected physically. The sun wasn’t down yet but it was falling in that direction over my shoulder.
“I’m just going to watch the monitor and wait for our dads to get home. I’m sure you have other places you want to be.” She wiggled her eyebrows.
“Funny.” I sat down next to her. “I’m just worried about them.”
“I’m not.”
“No?”
“No. Humans survived this planet, traveled to another planet and this dust storm, although powerful, is bound to dissipate. Our friends on Mars only have to hunker down and wait it out. That gives them a better chance of surviving that storm than we had surviving here with those things. And we all made it.”
She was right. “How’d you get s
o smart?” I narrowed my eyes at her and grinned.
Lily chuckled. “Stroke of luck. Smartest one in my family.”
I shoved her off the platform. She shrieked as she rolled to a stop and laughed so hard she couldn’t get up.
“Did you just push your sister?” Deviant came strolling in with Tage behind him.
“Nope.” I stood.
Deviant helped Lily up. I knew he loved her more. Hear me out. Lily was named after his sister, the one he loved with all his heart, the one that died in childbirth. I think my father saw her as another chance to save his sister. And I was okay with that because this scary fucking trip to Earth showed me something. Us. We were a family. Through the good and the bad. I smiled and walked toward the door.
“Where are you going?” Tage asked.
“Beast’s. It’s still the best area for reception.” Kind of. Okay, that was an outright lie.
Tage opened his mouth then closed it. He nodded briefly then turned toward Lily and Deviant as they watched the handheld.
And I was Tage’s favorite.
I grinned, whistling as I made my way down the stairs of this building, out into the cool dusk air and up that damn ladder. Seriously, it was worse than the running. I walked across the wide bridge and through Beast’s open door. He wasn’t here. I knew he was out there, helping. Mostly because I could see him. He was on the opposite roof, helping build a garden like he had over here. I gave him a wave through the window before climbing the stairs to the second floor. I toed my boots off then plopped down on his pile of blankets. I knew exactly what I was going to do while I waited for him too. I pulled my handheld off my belt, flexed my fingers and began looking for old prison records.
****
It took nearly an hour to find the old system through the satellite, another hour to make sense of it. Apparently, there was very little order to the records for prison inmates. That was no surprise based on how corrupt the peacekeepers had been back then. I knew several MC members that had been sent here, all old timers but none more famous than Liam. He was the Vice President to the club. Survived the trip here, fighting a beast bare handed as the story goes, some say with a blade. He managed to stay alive bleeding in a cell until our president showed up to save him. It’s an epic story in our club.
The handheld beeped.
The screen showed me everyone’s name and medical records for the previous years before the prison was abandoned. Each name had an attached image, now I just had to find him. I could input a search code to weed out the ones that didn’t fit his criteria. I should, shouldn’t I. Shit. I glanced out the window to find the roof empty and the sun well into its sunset phase. Not much time. I started the code, working as fast as I could. Eventually, because I am fucking brilliant, I had some success. “Come to me, baby,” I whispered and rubbed my hands together. Fifty names to look through, much better than a few thousand.
“Welliver?” Beast stood at the top of the stairs looking around the room. “Baby?”
I snorted. “Talking to the handheld.”
He shook his head like he didn’t understand my relationship with this beautiful machine. Not many did. His dreadlocks were damp. I could tell because they were darker. His bare chest was shiny too. He’d just taken a shower and damned if I wish I’d been there to see him. Still going barefoot, he stretched his arms over his head and yawned.
“I hope it’s okay I’m here. After all we’d been through I sort of assumed…”
Beast grunted, “Mine.” He pointed at me.
I smiled. Yeah, I was. Happily, then my mouth fell open as he pulled his pants down. As a man with questionable lovers and a single status for more years that I care to admit, seeing him drop his clothes like that made my blood boil. Not literally, of course, but the metaphor was pretty accurate. My body warmed as I watched his semi hard cock bob free. He walked toward me, moving to his knees then crawling beside me. Beast laid on his side and his big, beautiful cock laid on his thigh.
Beast reached over and ran a hand under my shirt.
“Ten minutes,” I blurted. Fuck, I wanted to get laid but this … this work was important too.
Beast frowned.
“Your name. I’m so close to finding out your real name.”
He shifted to his back. “Beast.”
“Your given name.” He didn’t say anything so I went back to my handheld, I flipped through the screens quickly, looking for an image that might match him from when he was younger. I was at number forty-eight when I paused. He didn’t have the dreadlocks when he was first brought to prison. No scars. No beard. He was a clean-shaven teenager. I stared down at the image for a few moments, captured by it. “Kyle.”
Beast jerked, he rolled to his side and looked at the screen. “Kyle.”
I glanced at him. “Your name was … is Kyle.”
A slow smiled spread on his face. “Yes. Named after my father.” He stared at the screen.
“Six feet tall when you were measured back then, brown eyes, black hair. Imprisoned for…” It was blank. There was no reason. I never thought to ask him.
“Murder,” Beast said quietly and sat back. “Peacekeeper killed my parents. I killed him.” He stared out the window, his gaze fixed on an object I didn’t see.
That explained why he hated peacekeepers. Back then they were corrupt bastards that got away with killing more than they got punished for it. The former president Wexmen had nearly driven humanity apart. “I’m so sorry, Beast. Um, Kyle.”
“Long time ago.” He laid back beside me. “I’m your Beast.”
I smiled. “Yes, you are.”
Beast took the handheld and dropped it somewhere past the blankets. “All different now,” he said quietly. “Better.”
“I hope so.”
Beast stroked his fingers across my jaw. “Much better. Well…” He paused like he was trying to say something.
I waited and when he still didn’t say anything I did it for him. I just hoped I was right about what he was going to say. “I love you. I’m not overly fond of you picking me up and throwing me over your shoulder but … I love you.” Either best decision of my life or I’d be spending tonight alone and knowing I’d never find anyone like Beast ever again. So, coward that I am, I didn’t look him in the eyes when I let that drop.
Beast placed his finger under my chin and lifted my head until I was staring right at him. “Same.”
I let out a harsh puff of breath. “Really? Because I won’t be angry if you wanted to see other people. I’m hoping there are more survivors on Mars and when they get here, a lot of them are better looking than I am. And…”
He kissed me to shut me up.
Our mouths were wild, lips pressing, tongues touching. I was breathless by the time he pulled back.
“Welliver. I love you.”
I waited all my life to hear those words. I never realized how important they were until I met my Beast. My naked Beast. I grinned and pushed him to his back then crawled down the bed. His cock was fully engorged now, hard and ready between his legs. I reached out and touched him, stroking softly from his balls to this foreskin. I circled his balls with my palm before cupping him and settling between his legs. I started at the top, swirling my tongue along his foreskin. Beast groaned, clutching the blankets. I nipped at his skin, gently tugged it and licked under it. Salty flavored pre-cum spread over my taste buds.
“Welliver.”
I swiped at his slit, sliding my tongue over it again and again and again. When he made a strangled sound, I started kissing my way down his long shaft. Open mouth, saliva making his flesh shiny in the dull light. I avoided the nest of pubic hair and started to caress his balls, sucking on them and sprinkling little kisses over the skin.
“Welliver!” Beast bent his knees, lifting his hips up and thrusting into the air. “Now.”
“Wait.” I pushed at his legs until he complied and rolled onto his stomach. His ass cheeks were like rocks. I squeezed them, amazed at how tight the
y were. A kiss and a nip on each one made Beast groan. Then I sat up and pulled my shirt off. I licked my two fingers, getting them nice and wet before sinking them into Beast’s hole.
He jerked, rolled to his side and groaned.
I fisted his dick as my fingers penetrated him deeper.
Beast growled, and pushed free of me.
He spun around, knocking me to the bed, rolling me over and collapsed atop me. “Beast!”
He growled low right near my ear.
I felt his erection pressing into me and shuddered. “I was going to suck you and finger you at the same time.” It was my damn plan.
“Better plan,” Beast said, then reached down and tugged on my pants.
He shoved just above my knees, spread my ass cheeks and then spit. I felt the wad slide down my crack before his saliva dampened cock pressed against my puckered hole. “Oh, fuck.” I braced myself and closed my eyes. But Beast just pressed his cock head against me, he didn’t enter. His hands rubbed along my back, up and down. He placed kisses along my shoulder and the back of my neck. He waited, making me crazy with need. My cock was already hard against the blankets. Then he jerked his hips and sent several inches into me. I let out a sigh followed by a groan. He filled me up so damn completely. It felt amazing. I heard him spit again and he started to work his cock inside me. All I could do was lay there and take it. He held me down with a hand on my back and honestly, it’s not like I was trying to get up. I wiggled my hips as the pressure increased. His cock was stretching me, pushing me past my limits as my cock thrusted against the blankets. “Beast!” I arched my hips upward as best I could and nearly cried out as he filled me. Oh, by the stars. That felt so fucking good. Pleasure slithered up my spine and I smiled. “Yes. Please.”
Beast groaned.
“Get it in me. Please. Beast.” I was babbling as he worked his cock in and out of me. The intensity was going to give me a heart attack. “More. More. Harder.”
