The boys looked at each other and grinned. Zannox grabbed Lok’s hand, pulling him away from Malloron and into the garden, giggling as he dried his eyes.

“Well, that was interesting to witness.”

Malloron turned to see Amara leaning against a tree truck, grinning. “Very insightful,” she mused.

Malloron scowled as he strode to her, eager to have his hands on her again. “You put me in that position. I wanted to name them words from the Ancient Tongue.”

“I’m not having my children named after a spell, Malloron.”

“That is what I was comfortable with,” he said irritably.

“I thought you wanted their names to be a reminder of your brotherhood with the other Alphas?”

“It was a good idea at the time, but now I have to actually explain it to them... You’re better with them than I am.”

Amara leaned her cheek against him, the bond ebbing with contentment. “You’re perfect.”

Malloron grumbled in the back of his throat and slipped his hands up the back of her tunic.

“Malloron,” she scowled. “Not in front of the children and their nursemaid.”

Malloron instructed the magic around them to make a portal directly to their bedroom, and as he pulled her through, he ripped her tunic from her body.

She squealed and looked around wildly to make sure no children were present.

“I told them to leave,” Malloron said, squeezing her breast and ass at the same time.

Amara exhaled a breath of relief. “I forgot you could communicate with them through the tenebris now.”

Malloron grunted and spun her around so he could look down over the curves and peaks of her body. Fuck, he loved it. Her body had changed with each pregnancy but his fascination with it never faded; it was quite incredible to see each change and what an Omega’s body could do. He lowered his nose into her neck and pinched her nipples, running his hand over her round stomach as he rumbled with satisfaction.

He sucked on her neck, pulling her toward their nest as he dipped his fingers between her legs. Her moan shot straight to his cock and he played with her clit as he undressed with one hand. Soon they were both naked, and falling into their nest, her slick dripping from his coated fingers and shards of pleasure rushing through him as her soft, small hands stroked his cock.

Easing her knees apart, he groaned at the rich complexity of her scent as it wafted from her pussy, filling the whole nest with the fragrance he loved. He took his time to suck and lick her hard nipples, to kiss her stomach and murmur to his daughter, and ran his hands up the back of her thighs to squeeze her plump ass.

Softly licking her clit, he moaned at the taste of her on his tongue, and by the time she was writhing in ecstasy, scratching his scalp as she convulsed, his cock was dripping in anticipation.

He rose and pinned her wrists with his hand.

  “No magic today?” she panted.

“No.” He wanted to feel her struggle against him the way she used to. She smiled at him, and unable to wait any longer, he thrust in. She clenched around him, crying out his name. As he set a steady, brutal rhythm she met him thrust for thrust, as eager for him as he was for her. This was his home, this was the foundation of his family, because without his Omega, he wouldn’t really be anything of worth. The Visant name didn’t mean anything on its own, and that was what he’d been—on his own. With Amara his whole world had the possibility to be different, and it would be, because just like her fire and fight when she climaxed for him, she had the same fire and fight for their children, and the Lands, and their Alpha/Omega connection.

He slammed his knot in and groaned as her pussy milked him, drawing out every drop of his fluid as he spilled in her, his climax heightened as he watched her gorgeous body shudder and twist from her orgasm. Gathering her into his arms, he began to purr and through the bond, her love and contentment ebbed and flowed. “I don’t think there will ever be a time that you won’t be beautiful to me,” he murmured.

“Good,” she murmured back, lifted her head to smile at him, her gorgeous eyes locked onto his own. “Because that means I can’t really be a chameleon.”

Malloron chuckled with her, and rolled them onto their sides. “You’ll always be my chameleon, Amara.” His lips sought hers as they cuddled. “And even though I am your king, and your Alpha, you will always rule me.”

Sheltered all her life, Omega Shaya found joy in the gardens of her home, the protection of her sister, and the simplicity of her life.

  Author Note

Starting a new couple in an existing world isn’t always a safe bet for an author. You don’t want the couple to be a replica of any previous couple, but you want there to be a consistency in the type of story you initially introduced to readers. The story I initially wrote for Drocco and Cailyn had magic at the heart of it—this is an epic fantasy world after all—and that magic was explored further with Malloron and Amara as well as the history of the Western Lands and King Malloron.

This couple suffered more than Drocco and Cailyn, their journey was more complex, and they developed and changed who they were more drastically, especially Malloron, and had more challenges from many different angles. But I loved every minute of writing their tale, even when I was at my wits end with them both lol. I feel like the cast of characters in this one were vastly different and added something to the both Malloron and Amara’s tale and to the world itself, and I loooved writing them. From Emric to Elion, Brecc to the tenebris-children, I feel like this part of the Myth of Omega world has become more vivid, and I will certainly miss it.

Once again, it was a bit of a shock writing THE END *sob* but I’m glad that there’s still one more couple left and I get to spend time in a new part of the world that is less magic-filled but more raw and barbaric. If you liked the Reign trilogy, or even if you didn’t, come
and join me with the next couple! Let’s see if I can make Kardos your favorite Alpha in this world! :p

Interestingly, the one thing I have learned while writing this trilogy is how big the potential is for this world, so if you are enjoying this series, make sure you’re a Dark Halo so you can get access to any extras and bonuses.
