Dove
The drive to the clubhouse had my heart racing, as I park my car I watch as they all pull into the compound one after the other and I lock the doors and head to the gate carrying Wiley in her basket. I watch as two vans pull in and women get out pulling kids with them, as the women start pulling out babies. I notice most of them are only a few months older than Wiley, I walk up to Niya “You made it” she says and I nod smiling. “Dove I want you to meet the girls, my sister Zoey and her two girls Isabella and Sophia, I look at Niya’s sister but Zoey talks first
“No were not twins” she says and I nod
“Ok” I say and she smiles
“It’s just everyone says it and it gets old after a while” I nod not really sure what to say
“That is Lilly with her daughter Willow and her two sons Cooper and Junior”
“Hi” she says and I nod
“Tink, and her daughter Meadow and the triplets Primrose, Caleb and Codi”
“Hi” I wave to a small blonde woman
“Ella and her son Harley and Widow and her daughter Arlia and her son Mason”
“It’s nice to meet you all” I say “are all the babies the same age?” I ask and they all laugh
“Around the same age give or take a couple of weeks” Niya says and I smile
“So, your Jewel’s sister?” the women named Widow says and I notice she’s wearing the same jacket as them men and not like the women
“Are you in the gang to?” I ask her a little confused
“Damn girl, don’t let the boss man hear you say that, it’s a club Dove, where not a gang and yes I’m one of the Brothers” I still look confused, I had no idea women were allowed to join, I mean I’ve watched Sons of Anarchy
“Come on Dove, let’s get inside I bet your hungry” my stomach rumbles and she smiles as I follow her in through the doors. The moment I walk in I notice the room is huge, people watch us all as we walk in moving out of the way “Come on Dove” Niya says and I follow her out through some doors to the back
“Sit” Tink says and I sit down placing Wiley next to me and look at the other women there
“Dove, that’s Maggie, Sheryl, Lena, Abbey and Chelsea” she tells me and I smile still feeling a little out of bounds and I notice one of the women is pregnant
“So, you and Jewel where sisters?” I think its Abbey who ask me and I nod
“Yeah”
“Wow I’m really sorry, she was a great chick” I nod still confused at how my sister new all of these people
“You look so familiar” Lilly says
“I worked at the Highway Heaven Roadhouse” I tell her and she smiles
“That’s right I remember you, Tink and I use to stay at the Rainbow and come in for meals”
“I remember” I tell her smiling
“Wow, I never knew that Jewel and you where sisters” I shrug my shoulder
“Not many people did”
“It’s a small world isn’t it” she says and I nod
“It is”
Chapter Ten
Socket
I watch as she walks out to the old ladies’ section carrying a basket, Lila sat firmly on my lap “Socket do you want another beer?” she asks and I nod, everything in me wanted to go and talk to her but I just sat there. What the fuck would I say, people always have the same response when they hear you’ve lost someone ‘Sorry for your loss’ like those words are gonna make it all better. As Lila comes back over she hands me the beer sitting back on my lap again
“You ok Brother?” Oki asks and I nod
“Yeah” I say as I skull my beer needing to just forget about today
“You sure?” he asks me and I nod
“All good Brother”

I watch the door for the next few hours when Chase come up
“You need a refill?” he asks me and I nod still feeling too much, as he walks off and Blaze and Cuff come over and sit with me
“You good?” Cuff asks me and I look at him
“Will you all quite fuckin’ askin’ me if I’m ok, I’m fine” I tell him and he looks at me questionably
“I was just askin’, no need to be a prick” I chug my beer needing a new one fast
“Well I’m fine”
“Ok, jesus.” Chase comes back over as she walks in with Lena and they head down the hall
“I know her” Chase says and I look up at him
“How?” wondering how in the fuck he knows her
“She lives in the apartment complex I used to live in” he says and Blaze spits his drink out
“She lives in that fuckin’ drug den” I look between the two and Chase nods
“Yeah, she used to live two doors down from me”
“Fuck I wouldn’t let my worst fuckin’ enemy live there” Blaze says and I turn as her and Lena walk back out to the old ladies’ section
“What’s wrong with the place she lives in?” I ask curiously
“Fuck man, that place gave me the chills, it was like all the happiness in life was gone and only misery and despair was left” he tells us and I shake my head at his dramatization
“It can’t be that bad”
“Trust me man, it’s fuckin’ bad” he says frownin’
“She probably doesn’t even live there anymore”
“She does” Chase says and I look at him
“And how the fuck, do you know that?”
“Was riding past the place yesterday and seen her shitty car still there” I look back out to the old ladies’ section to see if I could see her
“Damn” Blaze says
“She got a boyfriend?” I ask Chase but he shakes his head
“No, I’ve never seen her with a guy”
“So, no dad for the kid?” he shrugs his shoulders as I hear the old ladies laugh and I wonder what there talkin’ about
“You want another drink?” Chase asks me and I hand him my empty
“Yeah” I tell him as a baby cries and I watch as Niya and Jewel’s sister walk in down towards the kitchen.
Chapter Eleven
Dove
“So, what’s this little one’s name?” Lena asks as I pick Wiley up and they all make that cooing noise women do when they see babies
“This is Wiley” I tell them all and they smile down at her
“She’s so pretty.” I run my hands over her little head, her baby smell making me smile
“She is, but I never knew how much it took to look after a baby, especially the changing of nappy thing, god the first time I done it I gagged the whole time” I tell them and they all laugh
“Where all pretty lucky, we’ve got each other to help out when we need a break, what about you Dove, did Jewel help out with little Wiley?” Maggie asks and I look at my niece again
“Um actually Wiley isn’t mine” I tell them and they all look at me
“Who’s is she?” Niya asks and I look at her
“She was Simone’s” I tell her and they all look surprised than they all start looking at each other
“Did you say Wiley was Jewel’s baby?” Zoey asks me and I nod
“Yeah, I only found out about her last week, I didn’t even know Simone was pregnant, I mean how would I, we hadn’t seen each other in years. Then I go to empty her apartment and her neighbour comes over and hands me Wiley” I tell them and they all look shocked
“And she said Wiley was Jewel’s” I nod
“I know, I was literally standing there holding the proverbial baby” they all frown at me still looking at each other and I start to get a bad feeling. “Ok, what is up?” I ask them but Wiley chooses that moment to start crying like she’s being murdered and I pull out a bottle but notice she’s already drank it “Shit”
“Come on, the kitchens this way” Niya says and I stand up with Wiley still screaming
“Give her to me” Abbey says and I hand a screaming Wiley over to her and follow Niya into the clubho
use to their kitchen to fix Wiley a bottle.
As we get into the kitchen I notice the size, it’s like ten times the size of my shitty apartment, the stainless-steel shining, Niya turns and looks at me “Dove” she says and I look at her
“Sorry, I spaced for a minute” she smiles as I walk over and start making up Wiley’s bottle
“So” she says and I turn and look at her
“You know who her father is don’t you?” I ask and I watch as she bites her lip nodding “Who?” I ask but she shakes her head
“I’m not even sure he is”
“But you suspect someone” she nods
“I do”
“Who?” I ask her again
“Does it matter” she asks me and I think of Wiley so I nod
“It does” I tell her but she hesitates
“Dove he… he’s not the father type” she says making me frown
“Niya, I had no idea what the hell I was doing when I got Wiley, I still don’t, but she needs to know her father”
“I just don’t think he would want to be in Wiley’s life”
“Was he married?” I ask wondering if my mother was right about Simone
“No, he’s not married”
“Then what’s the big deal.” She takes a deep breath and Wiley’s scream register and I walk out back to her. As Abbey hands her back I sit back down and start to feed her, her hungry gulps making it seem like she hasn’t eaten in days and Niya sits back down next to me. I look around at the other girls and the looks there giving me is they all know as well “So who is Wiley’s father?” I ask all of them and they all look at each other again and I can see there all hesitant to tell me
“Dove” Maggie says and the way she says it like Niya did makes me shake my head
“How in the hell do you know what he’ll do, he might be happy to have a daughter” I say and they all just sit there looking at me “Please”
“Dove, we just can’t” Niya says and I look back at them all
“Is he one of the guys inside” they all look at each other again and I know he is
“So, she was dating one of the men here?”
“She was” Maggie says
“Just tell her” Abbey says and they all look at her
“Abbey, you know we can’t” Lilly says this time and Abbey rolls her eyes
“Your right, you all cant but I can” she says and I look at all of them as they turn and look at me not saying anything but I notice Lena nod
“His name is Socket” Abbey says and I frown
“Socket?” I ask her and she nods
“Yeah, Jewel and him where together for, what four years” she says
“Three” Lena corrects her
“So, you all think Socket is the Dad” they all nod not saying a word. “You all think he is and you’re not allowed to say because your husbands are all members” they all nod still not saying anything “And Abbey you’re not a member”
“No, my brother is though”
“But you can say something but they can’t”
“They’ll all get in trouble, me I don’t give a shit” she says and I smile thanking god she’s not a member’s wife, at least I know who Wiley’s father is.
Chapter Twelve
Socket
I watch as she comes back in the room looking around holding the kid, all the girls trying to stop her from coming in
“That looks serious” Cuff says and I watch as she turns towards Abbey saying something and Abbey points over towards Cuff, Lila and me. She starts to walk towards us Niya and Maggie by her side trying to stop her but she keeps walking than stops in front of the three of us, my dick hard from watching her walk.
“Which one is Socket” she says and I look at Niya and Maggie, both looking nervous and I see Colt and Stryker moving closer to us
“Why do you want to know that?” Cuff asks and she holds the kid closer to her
“Which one” she says lookin’ at us both raising her eyebrow
“I am” I tell her and she looks me right in the eye than looks at the kid
“Socket is it?” she asks and I nod
“I am” I say again and she turns the kid around
“This is Wiley” she says and I look at her again
“And?”
“She’s your daughter” she says and I look at the kid laughing
“Darlin’ I think I would have remembered fucking you” I tell her taking a drink of my beer and notice her blush
“She’s my niece” she says and I look at the kid again
“Ok” I tell her and she rolls her eyes at me
“She was Simone’s and your baby” she says and I think I blanked out for a second
“What the fuck are you talkin’ about?” I ask standin’ up and I notice how small she is compared to me
“This is Wiley, and she is your and my sisters’ baby.” I notice every one watching us the room going deathly quiet
“Jewel didn’t have a kid” I tell her and she laughs
“Well, seeing that I’m holding her I think she did” she says and I want to bend her over and spank her gorgeous ass for being a smartass
“Then she never had a kid with me” I tell her and she shakes her head
“When did you break up?”
“A year ago,” she starts to bounce the kid on her hip
“Then there’s a chance she’s yours” I shake my head at her
“Darlin’ Jewel new I never wanted kids” I tell her and the day she left flashes in my mind, maybe she left because she was pregnant (fuck). I look at the kid again her blue eyes staring back at me but I shake my head “Nope, no way, that kids not mine” I tell her getting fucked off that Jewel might have done this (she wouldn’t)
“She could be” she says again but I shake my head stepping away from her
“Nope” I say as she steps forward
“Just hold her” I shake my head even more not looking at the kid
“No, I don’t want her” I tell her and she frowns at me
“But she’s your daughter!”
“No” I tell her walkin’ off towards the bar and grabbin’ a beer, but she grabs my arm and I swear a bolt of energy goes through my body at her touch
“Please” she says but I pull my arm out of her grip
“NO!” I yell this time, hopefully she’ll get it through her head I don’t want the fucking kid even if she was mine and the kid starts screamin’ and I roll my eyes grabbin’ a bottle and walkin’ off.
Chapter Thirteen
Dove
I watch as he walks down the hall out of sight, I take a step to follow him to have this out but Niya grabs my arm and I look at her noticing everyone staring at us “He’s such an asshole” Abbey says and I look at her in shock that he’s not even willing to conceive that Wiley might be his
“Don’t judge him to harsh Dove, he’ll come around” Niya says rubbing my arm and I look back at the hall feeling deflated calm Wiley by bouncing her
“He seemed pretty adamite that he’s not the Dad”
“What the fuck is going on?” an older man says walking up
“Razor, this is Jewel’s baby” Maggie says and he looks down at my niece
“Fuck” he says
“Exactly” Maggies says and I wonder what the big deal is and why in the hell her father doesn’t want anything to do with her
“Why?” I ask them and they all look at me and Wiley
“Socket just never wanted kids, simple as that and Jewel new that” the guy standing next to Niya says as he puts his arm over her shoulder
“But why?” I ask and they all shrug their shoulders
“He’s never said” Razor says
“Should I go and talk to him” they all shake their heads
“Just leave it for now” Niya says and I look at Wiley as she calms yawning
“Well, I’m going to take this one home than”
“I’ll get your bag” Abbey says
“Thank you.” I watch as people get back to their own conversations as Abbey hands me Wiley’s basket and bag and I place her back in it
“Well, it was nice to meet you all” I tell them not sure if I’ll ever see them again
“It was nice to meet you Dove” Niya says hugging me and I walk out to my car and place Wiley on the back-seat hearing Niya groan and I turn and look at her
“What?”
“Nothing” she says as I give her and Abbey a hug and get in my car
“It was nice to meet you all” I say as I wave goodbye and head home to my shitty little bedsit.

By Monday morning my brain was screaming at me for sleep but I needed to get to Delores’s to drop off Wiley than head over to Pink Slip to work my first shift. To say I was scared shitless was an understatement, I’d shaved everything which was surprisingly erotic. The sensations of my underwear rubbing on the sensitive flesh was making me blush, the new awareness of my baldness making everything south of my belly button heat up. As I walked into the club I found Oki and Bunny sitting at one of the tables talking and I walked straight up to the both of them
“Hi”
“Well hello darlin,’ ready for your first shift?” Oki asks me and I nod still unsure how good I’m going to be
“So, have you worked out what you’re going to do?” Bunny asks and I nod, having spent all day yesterday watching videos online of strippers “So what’s your act than?”
“I was thinking the naughty school girl with a ruler” Oki laughs and Bunny smiles nodding
