Jina

"You know, part of me is glad you're old enough not to go into heat but my wolf hates that we only had one kid."
"How many were you wanting?" One little one had been hard enough for the few days she had Luna. And the memories of raising Alia filled her mind. She couldn't imagine trying to raise two at once.
"At least two." Dominic chuckled in her ear.
"Well, maybe Luna can supply lots of grandbabies." Jina turned in his arms to face him.
"Is she pregnant?" His face lit up like a kid getting a jumbo lollipop.
"How on earth would I know? You're the one with the amazing sense of smell." She rubbed her nose against his wide chest.
"True, but I haven't seen her since this morning." Dominic shrugged. The coven lent Dominic and Jina a little place to stay for the night while Luna and Hunter crashed in her old home.
"Well, you better tell me when you do see her. I want to know right away." Jina kissed him. The idea of having a grandchild had always been nebulous but soon it could turn into a reality.
"You better behave, woman. I don't want to take you in front of everyone," Dominic groaned against her. Jina giggled and met his gaze.
"Did you need something other than to tell me you want sex?" Jina raised one of her eyebrows.
"Actually, yes, I wanted to tell you something." Dominic pushed back some of her hair over her shoulder.
"Well spit it out."
"I..." He stopped and turned to face Luna and the elder, Angel. Angel's white hair flowed in the light breeze. Hunter rubbed Luna's back keeping her close.
"Did I interrupt?" Luna tipped her head to the side.
"Nope." Dominic's lips popped at the end and Jina glanced up at him for a second.
"Weren't you about to tell them about the meeting?" Hunter added.
"Right. Tomorrow at 10 am we will meet the alpha, his mate, Alia, and her mate. Oh, and Angie will be there too." Luna smiled brightly.
"Who is Angie again?" Dominic asked.
"She is the one who saved me from the scientists, well actually my blood made her a witch." She rubbed her hands over her jeans.
"How is that possible?" Jina wracked her brain, trying to remember if it had happened before.
"From our guess, she has some witch ancestors, so the blood came alive when my magical blood mixed with hers." Luna adjusted her shirt and pushed back her curls, her blue eyes studying Jina.
"That's crazy." Jina made a mental note to do a search for the woman's family tree if they made it in.
"Anyway, I figured you two can come over and we can take your truck in the morning. If all goes well, we can come back and get our stuff." Luna glanced from Jina to Dominic then back.
"I don't see a problem." Jina turned to look at Dominic. She still didn't know if he would stay or leave.
"Sounds like a plan, sweetheart." Dominic smiled and wrapped his arm around Jina's waist.
"Let's give your parents some more alone time." Hunter grabbed Luna, who slipped from his grasp and walked right to Jina, giving her a hug.
"I love you, Mom. You need to finish convincing him to stay tonight," Luna whispered into her ear before kissing her cheek.
"I'll do my very best." Jina kissed her head. Luna gave Dominic a hug before walking back to her home a few doors down from theirs.
"I'll make dinner." Dominic pulled her inside. If he left tomorrow, she wanted to enjoy their last night together. A spark lit inside her belly as Dominic strolled over to the kitchen. Before he reached it, she grabbed his arm.
"Before you start cooking, I want you."
"What?" Dominic turned to face her.
Jina pulled her shirt off and tossed it to the side. Normally, she would be all too willing to snap her fingers and magic the clothes off their bodies. This time though, she wanted to tease him.
She shimmied out of her pants and kicked them off before walking backward toward the bedroom. Right before she made it over the threshold, Dominic lifted her into the air. His mouth slammed into hers while his hard cock pressed against her panties.
"You better magic your panties off before I tear them off." Dominic's heated eyes spoke volumes. She snapped her fingers leaving no barrier between them. Heat pulsed through her body.
Carefully, he placed her on the bed and settled between her thighs.
"Everything will change tomorrow. Are you ready for it?" Dominic raised one of his eyebrows.
"Yes." Jina bit her lip as his tip pressed against her entrance.
"Good." He slammed into her body making her back bow up. Her mate didn't take his time. He gripped her tight and made quick, hard thrusts. Before she could push her orgasm down, it seized her body making her cry out in pleasure. Dominic slowed a touch to let her catch her breath, then resumed his punishing pace.
"Goddess above." Jina grabbed his arms to keep herself somewhat grounded. Waves of pleasure coursed up her body making it hard to breathe. Dominic groaned while his grip tightened on her hips. Her next orgasm built under her skin quickly. She didn't want this to be their last night together. Jina pushed down the thought.
His balls slapped against her ass. Her thighs ached, in need of release. He leaned down and bit her shoulder like he did when they first mated. Her orgasm took over as she called out his name. His cock swelled inside of her as he spilled himself into her.
Slowly, they began to breathe normally again.
"I love you, Dominic. I never stopped loving you."
"I'll never stop loving you either." Dominic fell to his side then pulled her into his side. Soon they would cook dinner together, but right now she wanted to enjoy her time with her mate. Especially since it might all come to a crashing halt tomorrow.
CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Jina
"YOU NEED TO EAT." DOMINIC pushed the plate of food closer toward Jina. She shook her head and sighed heavily. Her stomach turned as the eggs wiggled on the glass plate.
"I don't think I can. My stomach is in freaking knots about seeing Alia again. I never should've done what I did." Jina shook her head. During their long drive, she had told him what she had done to her sister and niece.
"No, it wasn't right, but you can't go back and change the past. All you can do is apologize and hope she accepts it." He rubbed her leg.
"I've tried to apologize but she stopped taking my calls." Jina placed her hands over her face. Shame coursed through her body. Dominic grabbed her hand which calmed her down a little but not enough to loosen the knots in her stomach.
"Well, today you can try again. This is the fresh start you talked about before. We need to make amends with your family. Including your sister." His brown eyes stared into her soul. Her heart ached at the mention of her sister, Celina.
"Oh, Goddess I don't think she'll ever forgive me. If I were in her shoes I wouldn't." Jina shook her head violently. Dominic rubbed her arm which eased some tension.
"We can figure it out." Dominic kissed her hand and she gave him a short smile. Does that mean he's going to stay with me?
"It's almost time to meet them. Let's go get Luna and Hunter." Jina pulled on her shoes before standing. Dominic pulled her into a quick hug and kiss.
They climbed into the truck for the short drive over to Luna's house. Jina stared out of the window while Dominic drove. She had no clue what would happen in the next hour or so. Jina didn't want to be the reason they weren't accepted into the pack and coven. He parked the truck next to Hunter's Mustang.
Dominic helped her out and met her gaze. "No matter what happens, tonight you will be screaming out my name."
"You're a brat. I don't want to go in there all turned on." Jina glared at him which only made him laugh. She pushed her finger into his chest debating on what to say to him. The way he spoke over the last day made her wonder if he had made his choice to stay.
He lifted her up and pressed her against the truck, she wouldn't be able to get down unless she used magic on him. "I love your scent when you're all horny for me." His sexy scent filled he
r nose making her core clench.
Jina licked her lips. "We can't be late." Her voice came out as a whisper. Dominic kissed her making her moan under him. She felt his cock harden against her pelvis. After a moment, he set her down and strolled to the door. She hit the doorbell and tried to push back the thoughts of Dominic taking her in the truck like their first time.
Dominic and Jina stood outside of Luna's home, she hoped the meeting with the alpha went well. They all needed a fresh start. Dominic lifted his hand to knock when Hunter opened the door.
"Where is she?" Jina looked past Hunter for her little girl. He opened the door more to let them in.
"Just climbed into the shower." Hunter pointed toward the bedroom.
"Did you just get up?" Jina shook her head and slipped in. Dominic followed close behind, but his nose raised before he turned to Hunter.
"Is she?" His face lit up and Jina stopped walking.
"Is she what?" Jina raised an eyebrow. Hunter closed the door and didn't answer for a moment.
"Maybe she should tell you." Hunter put up his hands. Luna scooted out in a white dress that clung to her body. She studied her daughter for a moment.
"What on earth is going on?" Jina looked from Luna to Dominic then Hunter. If only she had a wolf nose, she wouldn't be completely out of the loop.
"Mom, I'm pregnant." Luna laughed. Dominic rushed over and picked Luna up into a big hug. Love surged through her soul as she watched the exchange between her mate and daughter. A few tears started to fall down her face.
"I'm so happy." Dominic kissed her head. "I never in a million years thought I'd be a grandpa."
"Are you okay, Mom?" Luna turned to Jina, who gave a quick nod and joined them in a family hug.
"My family is growing and I'm... I'm at a loss for words right now." She gave off a half laugh. Jina turned and waved Hunter over, slowly he walked toward her little family. Luna's mate smiled brightly. After everything, she had learned to accept wolves would forever be a part of her life.
"Congratulations, Hunter. I'm proud of you and I'm glad Luna found you." Dominic patted Hunter on the back. She glanced at the stove, they had half an hour to meet the alpha.
"Crap, we need to go." Jina stomach tightened again. Everyone rushed around getting ready and soon they all climbed into Dominic's pickup truck.
Jina sat up front and glanced back at Luna. Nervous tension slowly built in the pickup as they inched toward the border. Her mouth turned dry and she tried to wet her lips, but it didn't do much. When they cleared a hill, Jina spotted three pickup trucks. A red wolf paced along the line, she remembered him as Alia's mate, Olsen.
Dominic pulled the truck over to the left side and turned off the engine.
"Is that Angie?" Luna smiled as she climbed out of the truck. Hunter followed close behind.
"Here goes nothing." Jina sighed before climbing out of the truck with Dominic close to her side after they cleared the hood of the truck.
"Oh goodness, Angie, you look amazing." Luna's bright smile settled some of the tension in Jina's shoulders. She scanned the crowd and found Alia watching her. The knots tightened in her gut.
A woman with long brown hair ran up to Luna and pulled her into a hug. Her brown eyes turned toward Hunter with a quick smile.
"No, you look way better since I last saw you." Angie played with Luna's curls. "Since I've actually met you, I'll make the introductions but first, who is your mate?"
"This is Hunter." Luna grabbed his hand and pulled him closer. Jina glanced over at Olsen, he may have been pacing but his eyes were on Jina as well. The memory of their last meeting filled her mind. I should've been nicer! She chastised herself for not thinking it through.
"Nice to meet you." Angie offered her hand to Hunter and a werewolf behind her growled. Hunter shook her hand quickly and let go. "Hector, stop it." Angie let go of Luna and turned to a man with honey brown eyes staring right at Hunter. Jina resisted the urge to laugh as she observed the two men's exchange.
The one with wolf power pulsing from his body cleared his throat. This man had to be the alpha.
"Olsen, please stop pacing," Alia hissed at her mate.
"Luna, this is Derrick, he's the alpha. That's his mate, Maria. From what I understand, this is your cousin, Alia and her mate, Olsen." Angie shook her head and then smiled. Determination filled Alia's blue gaze as she headed toward Jina. A small bit of panic surged through her spine making it hard to breathe. The small hairs on her arms stood at attention.
"For years I've tried to understand what you did and why you did it. I can't forgive you for what you put my mother through, but I can forgive you for not telling me about my mother." Alia turned to Luna before Jina could even say anything. "As for you, I spoke to Angel, you're old elder told me I would be crazy not to let you in. The coven side is willing to accept you, as for the pack, you need to talk with the alpha. Same goes for you two."
Jina let out a shaky breath before turning toward Dominic. He rubbed her back. The tension in her shoulders eased. That could've been a lot worse.
The alpha would determine their fate and Jina had no clue which way he leaned. A slight chill zipped up her spine.
CHAPTER FIFTEEN
Dominic
DOMINIC WAS THANKFUL for Alia's acceptance of his daughter, but most importantly of his mate. Dominic met the alpha's bright blue eyes for a moment as he studied him and each member of his family. He didn't want the alpha to find him disrespectful.
"I've heard good things about Dominic and Hunter," Derrick started and slowly walked toward Luna, his intimidating presence would make most wolves cower, but Dominic had dealt with Brauc on a daily basis, making him almost immune. Dominic would have to make sure he rode the fine line of respect and disobedience with Derrick if he accepted them. Derrick sniffed the air and then glanced at Hunter then back to Luna.
"Do you have a wolf?" Derrick asked Luna.
"Yes, I do." Luna nodded. Derrick scratched the back of his head and turned toward Jina.
"Do you?" Derrick asked. Jina's body tensed in Dominic's arms. His wolf growled low in his mind.
"Me? Nope." Jina shook her head.
"I want to make this clear, if you want to be here, there will be no funny shit. No fake fires and if you cross me, I will put you down," Derrick growled.
"Understood," Dominic and Hunter spoke in unison while Luna nodded. Jina took in a shaky breath.
"I understand," Jina spoke after a few seconds. Dominic knew he already had his answer, but he wanted to make them wait. Dominic had seen this tactic pulled many times with Brauc but had never been on the receiving end till now. Derrick veered to his mate and they whispered. Dominic barely resisted the urge to listen in on their conversation. Hunter wrapped his hands around Luna's waist bringing her close.
"No matter what, we will figure it out." Hunter kissed her shoulder. Dominic gave Jina a short smile hoping to calm her nerves. The scent of fear filled his nose making his wolf angry.
Derrick turned to face them but didn't say anything. Dominic almost lurched forward when Maria shook her head.
"Welcome to the pack, all of you," Maria said with a big welcoming smile.
"Damn it, woman, that's my job," Derrick growled at his mate.
"You were scaring Luna half to death. The woman is pregnant, you shouldn't be stressing her out like that." Maria smacked his arm. The scent of fear vanished which calmed his wolf down.
"Welcome. Tonight, you can officially join the coven side. You all look tired." Derrick pointed at Hector and Angie. "Follow them and they will show you to your home." Derrick picked Maria up and carried her to the truck while whispering into her ear. Her face reddened as Derrick carried her away.
Luna and Hunter turned to Dominic. The question burning in their eyes.
"I want to get a fresh start with you. I'll be at your side if you want me there." Dominic finally let go. His wolf sighed inside his mind.
"I'd love for you to be at my side." Jina threw h
erself into his arms. He held her tight as tears filled her eyes.
"I love you, Jina." Dominic kissed her head. "I don't ever want to part from you."
"I won't leave you again. I can't do it." Jina shook her head and met his gaze. Love and affection shone brightly in her eyes. He had done the right thing, and everything seemed to fit in its perfect spot.
"I'm glad you're all here." Alia smiled before climbing into the truck. Olsen dashed away but Dominic planned on talking to him later. He wanted to make it clear, he didn't plan on taking his spot as second in command. They already had two in this small pack, he would move into retirement with ease with his little mate. Tomorrow he would start to sell off his shop to Brauc. The alpha could deal with all the crap of selling it to someone in the pack who wanted it.
They climbed into Dominic's truck and followed Angie and Hector in their pickup. After a few minutes, they were officially in the small town of Austin. Dominic glanced at his little mate who smiled back at him. Somehow, after three decades of distance, they had found each other and settled like nothing had ever happened. His wolf put images of getting her naked into his mind.
Hector pulled his truck into a driveway and climbed out, motioning Dominic to park on the street.
"Hunter and Luna, you will be right there." Hector pointed to the house next door. "Dominic and Jina, your house is right next door."
"Living next to your parents was not something I had planned on." Hunter laughed and kissed Luna's neck. Dominic smirked but kept his comment to himself. If he was honest, he liked having her close, so he could protect her if the need arose.
"It's perfect." Luna hip bumped her mate. Hector grabbed Angie and steered her toward their home.
"What about the girls?" Angie asked and pointed toward her right.
"We can get them in a half hour. I'm sure your brother will understand." Hector picked her up. "You're about to go into heat again. I need to get every second of you I can before then." The door slammed, and Luna giggled.
