  Wrapping his arm around Juliette's shoulders, he pulled her into his side and kissed the top of her head.

  "Ready to go?" he asked.

  "Definitely." She beamed up at him, her happiness shining in her eyes, and he knew that his gaze reflected that.

  Mrik made a gagging sound. "I swear, you two get grosser every time we see each other."

  "Careful, Mrik," Juliette teased as they moved past him. "Or I'm going to start thinking you're jealous and need to send in an application to Celestial Mates, too!"

  Tarrik howled with laughter at the horrified expression on his friend's face as everyone else moved in to hug and welcome them to the ship. He'd never imagined he would be happy coming onto this ship as a visitor, but he was the happiest he'd ever been in his life and he wouldn't change a thing.
