Claudia's Book
Page 9
I got so involved in my artist autobiographical series that I actually forgot about the autobiography I’d written for school. So when the teacher handed mine back to me, I held it for a moment as if it were something brand new.
At last I opened it. And I couldn’t help smiling.
The teacher had given me a B –. “An A + for content and design, Claudia,” she’d written across the top of the first page. “Very impressive. But you still need to work on organization, grammar, and spelling. Keep up the good work!”
My parents would be pleased. I was pleased, too. But as I said, the grade wasn’t so important. I’d learned what I needed to know.
And when I was a famous artist, maybe I’d write another autobiography….
