Imprisoned

Climbing to my knees, I eagerly wait for their next step. They wrap one piece around each arm from triceps to wrist, moving to add more around my thighs. They’re only tight enough to apply pressure to my skin and make my blood pulse a little harder.

Asher moves to secure the silky material around my eyes, while Matthew sits in front of me, leaning in to latch his lips around my already pebbled nipples, one at a time, and I gasp as he sucks them deep in his mouth. Releasing me, he blows cool air across both before applying a thicker ribbon across my breasts, covering me from their view, and affixing it behind my back.

It’s all deliciously seductive until I feel soft fabric wrap gently around my throat. Asher’s hot breath caresses my ear as he murmurs, “You look fucking stunning,” and makes me whimper as the ligature tightens ever so slowly.

I’m not afraid of my breath being cut off as he finishes binding me, but I know they’re about to have some serious fun with me.

“Hands,” Matthew demands from the front of me, his heated flesh penetrating my chilled body as he guides me over him. Placing my knees on either side of his hips, I feel his throbbing cock between my legs and whimper. Not having a visual of either man is torture, as he places my hands on his chest, instructing me, “Don’t move.”

I’m wide open for them to do as they please, and I wouldn’t have it any other way as I feel Asher moving behind me. His hands graze along my ass cheeks, and he bites along my spine, causing my skin to sting with each movement.

I’m dizzy with anticipation. Every heated breath, tension, acknowledgment that we’re finally free to enjoy each other’s bodies without threat of death is an aphrodisiac stronger than any other.

“Nice and easy,” Asher says as he places a hand in the middle of my back and pushes me forward to lay flat on Matthew’s chest.

Fingers gripping my ass cheeks make me nervous because I never, in a million years, thought this would happen. I never imagined I would take two men into my body at once, and even though we did something similar in that old castle, this time is different. This time they’re each occupying a special place in my body and truly bringing us together as one.

Taking a deep breath, I concentrate on Matthew’s heartbeat as I feel Asher probing my forbidden entrance with a wet, thick finger, making sure he doesn’t hurt me when the time comes to claim me fiercely.

“Slow breaths,” Matthew comforts. I can hear the strain in his voice.

“Mmm,” I moan as I get used to the invasion. Asher’s fingers slide easily in and out now, and as he disappears for a moment, I know what comes next.

His chest drapes across my back as he slides the head of his lubricated cock on my tight rosebud. “Fuck, princess. You were meant for us. You know that, right?”

I nod, but still say the words, “I do, my king.” And he groans, sinking deep inside my body.

It’s different this time. Burning in ways I didn’t expect, but as Asher pulls me back, sitting us both, the pleasure quickly takes over. I can barely breathe on my own when I feel Matthew breaching with his cock.

Both of my men, together, creating the ultimate euphoria.

“You, our princess, our queen, are better than we’ve ever deserved,” Matthew mumbles as they begin to move in unison. He strokes inward while Asher pulls out, and I’m just along for the ride.

Asher’s hand fists the back of the ribbon around my neck, tightening it as Matthew’s hands work their way up my chest to cup my breasts, swiping his thumbs across my bound nipples, and soon, I feel delirious.

I don’t know what’s up or down. Who is moving? Where I am. I only comprehend pleasure. I know my men are holding me together, and when I first hear Asher’s hoarse shout of release as his warm seed fills me from behind, my orgasm slowly begins to unravel.

Matthew then unleashes his desire, fists clenching on my chest. I see stars behind my covered eyes. I grow lightheaded and can feel my body losing strength as we collapse in a heap on Matthew’s chest.

Shaky breathing and pounding hearts are the only sounds as my men begrudgingly pull away and begin to untie each bond. Blood flows freely, my veins throb as the last tie is removed from my eyes, and they’re leaning over me.

“That was wonderful.” I smile shyly.

“And we get to do it all over again tomorrow.” Asher grins.

“And the day after that.” Matthew’s cocky wink makes an appearance.

  Our beginning was rocky.

  Our middle was terrifying.

  But our end?

It’s a new beginning, and I look forward to every damn day of it.

  Epilogue One

  Arianna

  Two Months Later.

  Two months since I left.

Two months since my entire life changed.

  And I’m home.

Back to Graeline, where life is simple, yet complicated.

“You ready for this?” For weeks, Matthew and Asher have worried about bringing me back because none of us were certain I would be able to handle all that I lost.

  But I’ve grown stronger.

  Become more independent.

I know who I am now.

“I’m positive,” I tell them as they each hold a hand as we enter the valley where I thought I would lose everything.

Graeline has changed. It’s filled with so much vibrant life, and the people are happier now. There’s no more evil lurking in the Catalina Valley, waiting for a good time to strike and cast horror on our world.

I never got to say goodbye to Callista, to thank her for her sacrifice. I never got to tell her she was the best person I ever knew. That if it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have had the courage to fight for myself when I so easily could have been smothered by my parent’s protective embrace for years.

“I’d like to do it by myself if that’s okay?” I gaze between them. Asher’s handsome face is scrunched up in a scowl. Matthew’s face stoic as ever, not wanting me to notice his displeasure when he understands it’s what I need.

  “Of course,” they respond together.

Leaning forward, I first kiss Asher lightly on the lips, then move to do the same to Matthew.

Turning to face the forest where our lives could have easily ended, I inhale deeply before taking a step forward, over the line of tulips in the ground where the thorn wall used to stand and into grass that laid dead for so long.

“Callista.” I whisper her name, understanding that she can’t hear me but hoping that wherever she is, she’s at peace. “I miss you every day.”

My throat already feels tight with emotion.

“I wish I could have saved you, Calli. I wish so many things were different. You rescued so many that day. All of Graeline is in your debt.” She wouldn’t even care about that. My friend was so selfless.

“The magic is gone now. With the death of Acantha, it disappeared, and the valley is radiant again. I don’t ever remember it being so beautiful before. You’d love it.” I wish she could talk back to me, that I knew where she was.

“I’m good now. Ready to rule whenever Father steps down. And you were right, Matthew and Asher will be by my side. They’ll be my kings. They already are.” I blush, gazing down at the sparkling diamond on my finger.

We married last week, in semi-secret. I hadn’t wanted anything huge like the kingdom would require. So my parents came to the States, some of their friends and family attended. Even Matthew’s parents, who are estranged, came. It was beautiful and everything I could have asked for.

“One day, Callista, I’ll have a daughter, and she’ll bear your name. I’ll make sure Graeline never forgets the great sacrifice you made so they could prosper.”

Laying the lilies I carried with us on the ground where we last saw Callista, I close my eyes and say a silent prayer. Turning around, the wind picks up, and the breeze swirls around me.

“The future holds great things for you, princess.” Callista’s voice whispers through my mind, and my tears fall as her words give
me comfort.

With all the changes to Graeline, to me, I have hope for the future as I stroll back to my men, hands held out for me, and love in their eyes.

This is the life I was always meant to live.

  Epilogue Two

  I was life.

  Now, I’m death.

  I’m somewhere I don’t understand.

  It’s neither Heaven nor Hell.

  They call it the inbetween.

In one direction shines the light, the good in the world.

In the other, darkness. Where evil resides.

Everything about me screams evil now. From my change in hair color to the pale tint of my skin.

I have a choice to make. Become life, or become death. I will never leave this place again; stuck in an existence I can’t comprehend. Standing in the middle of a dimension that doesn’t belong.

I am no longer Callista of the mage.

No longer filled with power and magic.

I suffer in silence as the outcast of the inbetween.
