by Dianna Love
Too many things had been lost when he ended up captured and his wolf went insane.
Lifting the note, he kept reading until he reached the part again about her other brother, Kaiser, being murdered and the wolf that killed him escaping.
His sister spilled grief all over the pages, but he understood the need to get it out. She would never heal until the killer was brought to justice.
He and his wolf had managed over the past week helping Gan, even showing glimpses of sanity. Mad Red had his moments, but the animal couldn’t be fully trusted. He would turn on Adrian in a flash, yanking control away.
Adrian read the letter again and thought through what it would take to do this mission. He asked his wolf, Will you work with me to help me find the shifter who killed Leonard’s brother?
His wolf said, Wolf died in battle.
No, this was that wolf’s younger brother left at home. His name was Kaiser. Someone killed him. I want to do this for Leonard. His wolf was good to us.
Yes.
One thing about Mad Red, when he made a decision, good or bad, it was final.
That was as much as Adrian could ask for.
He scanned the letter to the end where Tanza had left her phone number.
She answered on the first ring. “Yes?”
“It’s Adrian.”
“You got my letter.” She sounded as if that fact brought her to tears. “No one will help me. The pack is a mess, because our father is shut down. He’s going to lose control of the pack if we don’t find who murdered Kaiser.”
“I’ll find the killer.”
“You will?”
“Yes. Give me all the information you can.”
She sniffled, then seemed to gather herself. “Thank you. This means a lot. I can give you her description.”
He sat up. “Her?”
“Yes. She’s got a reputation as the Golden Kodiak wolf and has a scar running down her face in human form.”
Adrian’s breathing stuttered.
He had a memory of a scar that appeared when rain had washed off the mud and blood. He confirmed, “On the right side of her face.”
“Yes. Yes! When you see her shift, she turns into a big golden wolf with a white star on her forehead.”
He’d never forget the face of the wolf he’d fought beside.
Shit fire.
Jazlyn had killed Kaiser.

New York Times bestseller Dianna Love delivers an all-night read with her new League of Gallize Shifter series.
Wild Wolf Mate is the next shifter romance in this series.
WILD WOLF MATE
Mad Red isn’t just a nickname for Adrian’s wolf, it’s the truth. His teammates want to save him, but his wolf is deranged and it’s Adrian’s fault. While on a rescue mission overseas, he successfully extracted captives only to end up getting captured and locked in a titanium cage too small for shifting. His Gallize brothers rescued him, but nothing can save his wolf. Now, he just needs to stay alive long enough to answer the call for help from the family of a fallen soldier who Adrian also considered a brother. But to bring the shifter who killed the soldier to justice, he’ll have to hunt down a woman who saved his life and put her in prison.
