Amelia stared at him in shock. “You told them about me?”

Khalid laughed gruffly, “Like your friend, Bea, my family have infinite resources. It didn’t take them long to learn about us. My confirmation only made it more real to them. In the past, I have never been serious about a woman like I am with you. They don’t know what to think of it, especially when they question what my plans are with respect to our holdings or responsibilities. They want me to continue on with tradition, but I don’t believe that is the best course. If only I can convince them of this. If they could meet you, they would know how perfect you are for me in every way.”

Amelia blushed at his speech and pulled her hands away from his, fingering her bracelet. “I don’t want to come between your family, Khalid. I’ve already lost a family once, I couldn’t bear it if you did as well.”

Khalid shrugged and silence ensued at their table before he straightened in his chair. “You are more important to me than what my family thinks. Forget about them tonight, ya amar. Tonight is all about us.”

Amelia agreed and they finished their dinner quietly, but not in awkwardness. More of contentment. She’d never been so comfortable with Khalid. His words only invigorated her love of him. She so wanted to tell him, but feared it was too soon. She wanted to wait until the right moment.

Tonight, when they shared each other's bed, Amelia resolved.

Clearing away the table, Amelia had a chance to catch her breath. She also took a moment to text Bea and ask her to stop searching for “dirt”, as Bea called it, on Khalid.

Setting aside her phone with the volume turned down she quickly went about cleaning up the kitchen and getting ready for their couch time. Khalid had been in the shower for a while by the time she finished and Amelia worried he’d fallen asleep until she heard the water shut off.

  This is it.

Amelia hadn’t been sure if Khalid could see exactly what she was thinking when he returned from the bathroom. Amelia held her breath in anticipation and smiled tentatively at Khalid.

Grinning at her, Khalid shook out his wet hair and Amelia felt herself drool as droplets dripped onto his chest. Amelia inwardly shook herself and blushed at having been caught staring, again.

“See something you like, Lia?” Khalid crooned.

Nodding, Amelia bit her lip, “Yes, but I think it would be even better on my couch.”

Groaning, Khalid sat next to her, his loose pajama pants already tenting a little bit. His lips met hers and, in an instant, Amelia’s fingers wove deep into his wet hair and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck like a vice.

As Amelia’s kisses against Khalid’s lips grew more urgent, Khalid pulled back, breathless, “The movie, ya amar?”

Ignoring his protesting words, Amelia pushed Khalid back into the couch. Much to his surprise, she gently climbed atop his lap, her hands putting pressure on his shoulders. With Khalid firmly in his seat, Amelia reached behind her and slowly unzips her tight dress. Khalid inhaled sharply when he realized what she was doing and stared up at her in amazement.

“Lia, you don’t have to…” Khalid murmured, but Amelia stopped him with a soft brush of her fingers against his lips. Leaning to the left, Amelia pulled out the wrapped present and held it between them.

“Shhh. Open this and then you can remove my dress,” Amelia murmured back, a soft smile on her face. “I want this, Khalid. I want you.”

Khalid stared curiously from her to the present before taking it and reluctantly removing his hands from her hips. As he unwrapped the paper, the brand on the condom box became clearer and the six red letters displayed one word that had Amelia tingling. Large.

Chuckling, Khalid held up the box and grinned at her, his dimple appearing. “A thirty-six pack? Lia, I think I may die if I attempt to pleasure you that many times in one night.”

Giggling, Amelia grasped the box in her hand and pulled it towards her. “I wanted to prove to you that I was ready. I’m on the pill, but thought this would make you comfortable.”

Khalid’s chest vibrated with his growl and he took the box from her throwing it to the other side of the room. He put his hands on her waist and pulled her front closer against his. Amelia’s core rubbed against Khalid’s hardening length and she gasped in shock at the feeling. How she had missed it.

“I’m clean, Lia. I haven’t been with another woman in months. I hadn’t thought about being with another woman other than you since we met. I can’t remove you from my mind, ya amar. You are engraved in my very soul,” Khalid groaned as he leaned in close and brushed his lips against hers teasingly. “I would be honored to take you bare, but only if you trust me.”

Amelia felt herself nod, but she didn’t realize how Khalid was able to scoop her up fully into his arms before striding out of the living room. His intent was clear. Her bedroom. With a kick of his foot, her door was open and Amelia was dropped in an instant on her bed, the wind knocking right out of her.

As she laid out before him, her legs spread wide, Amelia knew he had seen her second surprise. She could feel the burning of his gaze on her bare core. It had been difficult all night. She had been wet the moment he had walked into her apartment. How he had not noticed, she wasn’t sure. No doubt now he was too focused on her glistening core to notice anything else.

“Lia, you have been a very naughty girl,” Khalid finally groaned as his eyes drifted back up to her face. “Do you have any attachment to this dress?”

Confused, Amelia mumbled, “I borrowed it from one of the girls, so I guess not?”

Before she could say more, Khalid reached up between her breasts with both hands and easily ripped her dress in half, right down the middle. Gasping at how easily he’d done it, Amelia felt a rush of cool air reach her nipples as they pebbled in desire. Khalid brushed aside the rest of her dress to the floor and licked his lips at the sight of her naked before him.

“You are even more beautiful in person than on camera, Lia. You have no idea how hard it was for me not to demand my pilot to return me to you those nights that we spoke,” Khalid growled as his hand caressed her face before trailing down her neck, only to cup one of her breasts in his large hand.

When his thumb brushed against her hardened nipple, Amelia’s hips instinctively moved, arching towards his tented pants. Gasping at the desire coursing through her, Amelia reached out a hand to Khalid’s chest.

“Please Khalid. I’ve waited long enough. Please take me,” Amelia murmured.

Groaning, Khalid kissed her hand. “I must prepare you, Lia. I don’t want to hurt you.”

Amelia spread her hips wider as Khalid knelt down before her. As his face drew nearer to her bare sex, Khalid seemed to inhale her scent and Amelia squirmed when she felt his palm cup her sex deliciously. Closing her eyes, Amelia melted under his grasp. Suddenly she felt something rough graze the slit of her lips and she jumped in alarm. His tongue. Khalid held her still by her thighs and pushed them open wider.

Moaning in delight, Khalid continued his teasing as his tongue lightly traced her slit over and over again, up and down. Khalid moaned and gazed up at her as Amelia gazed down at him at the same moment. He grinned and as she watched, he plunged his face, tongue first between her lips.

Crying out in pleasure, Amelia called out his name as he delved his tongue into her folds, lapping at her sopping sex. Her newfound pleasure was intense. Gasping, Amelia felt herself begging to move her hips in tune with his thrusting tongue, only mewling in protest when he pulled away and whispered softly.

“You taste amazing, ya amar. Like berries. And you are so tight,” Khalid groaned his final words.

She wasn’t given a moment to catch her breath before Khalid’s finger was rubbing between her lips and suddenly he was in her. His other hand teasing the bud of her clit, Amelia met Khalid’s fingered thrusts as best she could. She was lost in the building pleasure that she didn’t even notice when he pressed another finger inside of her sopping core.

  With his fing
ers thrusting inside her over and over again, changing their rhythm from fast and hard to slow and drawn out, Amelia’s voice grew hoarse from her cries of pleasure. The pleasure only grew as Khalid’s rough tongue lapped at her clit, teasing the little bud until she felt herself tightening.

“I’m so close, Khalid!” Amelia cried out and before she could catch her release, Khalid had pulled away, much to her protest.

“Yes, ya amar. You are ready,” Khalid groaned.

Before she could react, Khalid had pulled his fingers from her sopping wet core and pressed something else against the entrance of her lips. It was warm, soft and hard all at the same time. He wouldn’t let her look, instead, as he guided her with one hand, Khalid took her breast in his other and drew his tongue over her nipple.

In one instant, he was pressing softly against her core and in another she felt herself becoming completely full of Khalid’s member. Crying out in alarm, Amelia felt a burn of pain rush through her and arched her back to meet Khalid’s thrust. She felt him everywhere. He was completely inside of her, from hilt to end.

Gasping, Amelia let out a breath as Khalid moved away from her breast and kissed her lips. She tasted herself on his lips as he spoke over them, “Are you alright, ya amar?”

Amelia squirmed underneath him and gasped when she felt his cock twinge inside of her. Staring into his green eyes, Amelia whispered, “Is that it?”

Khalid moaned and slowly began to move inside of her, out and then in again with careful precision, “No, my love. There is so much more.”

Amelia thought the words, but the air was taken from her throat before she could speak them as he continued his thrusts, her pleasure building as she held on tightly. Nails biting into his back.

  I love you, Khalid.

Hours later, she and Khalid lay entwined in bed. Even in her queen sized bed, he was still too big, but Amelia didn’t mind their close proximity. After the gentle love making he’d shown her and their second round. She enjoyed being close to him like this.

Burrowing her face in his bare chest, Amelia sighed, completely happy, and sore, but she wouldn’t tell him that.

“Are you happy, Lia?” Khalid asked softly.

Humming in delight, Amelia smiled into his chest, “Yes, Khalid, I am.”

Shifting beneath her, Khalid pulled her chin to sit on his shoulder so they could stare into one another's eyes. Blushing, Amelia moved her hands over his chest tentatively running her fingers over the scratch marks she’d placed on his chest and back.

  “Do they hurt?” Amelia asked.

Khalid laughed, “No, Lia. I enjoy the marks you place on me.”

Amelia smiled in delight. Before she could stop to think about it, Amelia said those three words she hadn’t wanted to say so soon.

  “I love you, Khalid.”

Khalid’s eyes glazed over and before she knew it, his lips descended on hers in a possessive kiss. In an instant, he was atop her, his elbows on either side of her head. Amelia moaned into the kiss and whimpered when she felt Khalid’s now soft length brush against her leaking core.

As he pulled away, he stared down at her, his eyes sparkling. “I love you, Amelia.”

He paused before brushing a tendril of her hair aside and then said, “Move in with me.”

  9

She was doing it. Amelia was moving in with a man. And not just any man, but Khalid Majeed. After their first night together intimately, Khalid had started the preparations. He had taken her to this beautiful condo overlooking Lake Ontario. She loved the condo. From the large bathroom and tub big enough for four people to the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, Amelia felt as though she were living in a fairytale.

Though their relationship hadn’t changed drastically over the last few weeks, Amelia was noticing subtle changes, physically. They found they couldn’t keep their hands off one another. In the midst of packing up her apartment, they’d made many excuses for taking breaks. Khalid had mentioned having someone else pack her belongings, but Amelia wanted to ensure what she brought to the condo was important. The rest would go into storage.

They’d been dating for almost two months before Amelia found herself being carried over the threshold of their new condo. Amelia had offered to help pay rent, but Khalid wouldn’t let her, claiming he’d already bought the condo before he met her in the hopes of spending more time in Toronto for business. Although he still continued to travel one week on and one week off, Amelia found herself growing closer to Khalid. Living with him had changed them. They were in what Bea had coined the “honeymoon phase” of their relationship. Even though Bea and all of Amelia’s friends had met Khalid over dinner one night at their new place, Bea still brought up the fact that Khalid looked familiar to her and to be wary. Though her friend had her best interests at heart, Amelia was getting sick of it.

In the end, Amelia had demanded Bea to drop it and if she couldn’t then they wouldn’t be able to see one another until she had accepted Amelia’s relationship with Khalid. It had broken Amelia’s heart, but she loved Khalid. She didn’t want to put more pressure on the man she loved than his family was no doubt putting on him.

Everytime Khalid returned from his week long business trips, he returned exhausted and stressed. About what he wouldn’t tell her. He would just say family stuff and that he was handling it. Then he would kiss her and seduce her into their bed. It worked every time. Amelia couldn’t deny him. She loved him and he loved her. They could tackle anything that came their way later.

Now, after living together for a few weeks, Amelia found herself alone, working on her lesson plan. She didn’t like it when Khalid was gone. It was too quiet in the condo, hence the soft music she had playing on the background stereo.

Knocking at the front door had Amelia look up from her school planning in the living room. Good, she needed a distraction from day dreaming about Khalid. While he was away, she found her thoughts constantly strayed to him.

As she opened the front door, Amelia frowned slightly as she realized she hadn’t buzzed the person in. Perhaps it was a neighbor? Amelia had thought Khalid had said they were the only ones living on the top floor.

With the door open, Amelia stared questionably at the man before her. He could have been an exact replica of Khalid. Although his hair was much shorter, more of a military style then Khalid’s carefree style and there was a small scar that cut into his black eyebrow. With his tanned skin, it made him appear dangerous and Amelia held the door tightly, knowing she shouldn’t have opened the door.

“Hello,” Amelia said as politely as she could muster, “Can I help you?”

The man peered down at her, his lips curled in a sneer as he asked, “Are you the housekeeper?”

Angered by his rudeness, Amelia glanced down at her appearance. She wore black leggings and a tank top. She was comfortable. It was her home after all. She didn’t have to put up with this man. Sliding her hand into her back pocket, Amelia pulled out her phone.

Her motion didn’t go unnoticed by the strange man as he glared at the phone in her hand. With a wave of his hand, he dismissed her and pushed past her as he entered the living room, glancing around it and at her papers before checking out the kitchen and dining room.

“Never mind that. Where is Khalid? While you’re fetching him, you can get me a scotch, too.”

Snorting, Amelia left the front door open and put her hands on her hips as she glared at the man, “Not going to happen, buddy. I don’t know who the heck you think you are, but this is my home and you will not enter it and order me around like you own it or me. So I will gladly thank you to leave unless you’d like me to ask my friend, Haseem, to escort you out. He’s been itching for a fight lately, after all.”

Her comments got the desired effect as the man turned on her, his eyes full of hatred as his mouth opened, gobsmacked.

“How dare you! Do you know who I am?” the man asked, sputtering as he did. She was wrong. He was nothing like Khalid. Khalid was hand
some and kind inside and out. This man was ugly through and through.

“No, I don’t and I don’t care. You can’t just barge into my home and make demands. Now please leave,” Amelia ground out, her teeth clenched tight.

The man clenched his fists and Amelia wondered unsettedly if he would hit her, but a shadowy figure at her back seemed to knock some sense into the mysterious man.

  Haseem.

How he had known she had needed him, she didn’t know and wouldn’t ask in front of the angry man. Smugly, Amelia crossed her arms, “Well? If you’ll please leave, I have work to do.”

The man exhaled sharply and glared at her before glaring at Haseem, his words harsh and belied his cruel intentions, “Tell him I was here and that I am not impressed.”

The man stalked out, brushing past the silent Haseem who stood in the doorway until the sound of the disappearing elevator was all that was heard. Haseem stepped into the condo and closed the door behind him before turning to her, concern in his eyes.

“Are you alright, Ms. Jones?” Haseem asked.

Nodding, Amelia smiled, “Yes, I shouldn’t have opened the door. He’s a little grumpy, isn’t he?”

Haseem nodded back and frowned. “Yes. I will tell Mr. Majeed and you won’t have to worry about being bothered by him again, I promise.”

Curiously, Amelia asked, “He’s Khalid’s brother, isn’t he?”

  Haseem nodded, “Yes, Maarku.”

Forcing a smile on her face, Amelia laughed nervously. “Well, I guess it doesn’t matter. People don’t always get along with their in-laws anyway.”

Haseem seemed to agree and nodded towards her papers strewn over the living room coffee table and couch. “Return to your work, Ms. Jones. I will inform Mr. Majeed of the intrusion.”
