“I know without a doubt Gavin will always have your best interests at heart, and the backbone to stand up to you when you need it. He's risked his life, and my wrath, multiple times to save you. Honestly, what more could a father, and a King want for his daughter and the county she is to govern?”

“Undying love,” she says, a tear trickling down one cheek.

Without thinking, I kiss her tear away and then pull back hastily.

“Really,” he says with a chuckle. “You have lipstick on your collar, and your clothes are wrinkled, but a kiss on the cheek embarrasses you?”

I blanch at his accusation, and Raina goes fifty shades of red. The king just laughs heartily at this.

“Away with you both. But, heed this. The private jet is yours, for two weeks. Then it's business as usual,” he says with a wink to Raina. “We have a lot of work ahead of us to bring Gavin up to speed, but it can wait a few weeks.”

“Thank you, sir,” I say with all my heart. He simply nods in return.

“Thank you, Daddy,” Raina says tearfully.

After bidding her mother good night, we make our way to Raina's suite, for once just the two of us again.

“So,” she says excitedly. “Where would you like to go? Someplace warm would be nice. Maybe Morocco?”

“How about, Australia? I've never been. Sun, surf, and sea. What more could we need?”

“Alright, down under it is.” I wiggle my eyebrows playfully at her, and she smacks my arm.

“You're incorrigible.” Though she doesn’t look at all deterred by this.

“I'm about to show you exactly how deplorable I can be, Mrs. Berggren.”

And before she can respond, I've swooped her off her feet and into my arms. She giggles loudly. We stop in front of her door, she opens it, and I walk backward in, pushing it open with my shoulders.

Once in her bedroom, I kick the door closed and place her on her feet, but I don't allow her to move.

“Tsk, tsk. You may be in charge out there, and of the country one day in the very near future, but inside this room is my domain.”

I do believe her knees go weak. She swoons as I step around to the back of her dress and whisper in her ear.

“Now. I'm going to unwrap my wedding present so I can admire and play with it.”

I proceed to unfasten her ribbons, sliding my hands inside once it's loosened to cup her wonderful, full breasts. She trembles under my fingers, her heart racing beneath my palms.

I slide the dress down her body and over her hips, allowing it to pool at her feet. Raina begins to step out, but I stop her with a gentle tap to her rear.

I step around to the font and admire the view. She looks like every man’s wet dream. Positively edible in barely-there lacy, satin panties and a bra set, lace-top stockings, and her very high clear heels.

“All mine,” I command, a deep, possessive edge to my tone.

Raina, always the stubborn, feisty, and ever defiant woman I fell in love with, unclasps her bra, discards it haphazardly behind her, and then steps out of her panties.

My mouth waters, and I wrap my palms around her derrière, and with a firm grip lift her off the ground. She squeals and clutches on to me as I walk her to the bed and unceremoniously, drop her on it.

“You know,” she says a little breathless. “You never even proposed. We just got married.”

“I did ask if you wanted to.” I kneel on to the bed between Raina’s parted legs.

“Oh yes, that was so romantic,” she says indignantly, rolling her eyes.

This makes me chuckle as I lift one leg up to my ears.

“Raina,” I say, dragging out her name like the prayer it is, and run my tongue up her calf, still clad in the stockings, and past her knee. “Will you continue to be my wife, for the rest of my days?” I ask before licking up her inner thigh and making Raina pant with needy desire. “And all of my nights?” I finish, burying my tongue deep inside her. Her moan of ecstasy shoots straight to my thickening cock.

“God, yes. Oh yes. Especially your nights,” she moans.

I nip her clit with just the edge of my teeth, and she gasps so loudly, digging her nails deep into my shoulder, that I think she almost comes. But thankfully, she doesn't. I plan to drag this out for the rest of the night. Hell, for the rest of our lives. I will never, ever get enough of this beautiful, sassy, intelligent woman.

“Especially for all of your nights.”
