Hell Bent

"Why did you do that?" I panted, "I was so close?"

"I know. That's why I did it," He got to his feet and pressed his lips against my ear and clamped his hand around my neck, "You're going to have to beg for that."

Before I could speak he grabbed my hair and bent me over the back of his couch. It was demeaning being placed like that with my ass and pussy in the air but it was a turn on at the same time. It felt good to be wanted, even if he was insisting on driving me crazy with this orgasm denial bullshit.

"I knew I'd have you like this as soon as I saw you," he growled, pushing my hair behind my ear, "You witches are all the same aren't you? You love this."

I turned and watched him drop his shirt to the ground. His body was beautiful and muscular, but his chest was patterned with deep scars that were probably years old. He didn't like me staring.

He got to his knees again and grabbed my ass roughly with his big hands. He groaned as he squeezed it, spreading my ass cheeks and getting a good look at my holes.

"Fuck," he groaned, "You have a good ass."

I was going to say something sassy about wanting to cum but he didn't give me a chance. In a second he had buried his face in my ass and his tongue was working its magic inside of me. I screamed at the new sensation. It felt so fucking good to have him pleasuring me like that. I had to reach between my legs and rub my clit as he did it. I was so close now that if he didn't let me cum I might just scream in frustration.

I could hear his muffled groans as he pleasured me. This was his thing and I didn't mind one bit. It felt amazing.

Then he got to his feet and I turned around and let him watch me touching myself. He let me do it for a moment, watching his lips parted and his eyes wide like it was the sexiest thing he had ever seen. I liked putting on a show for him.

I liked watching him get his cock out. Of course, it was big. A douchebag like Ezra would definitely have a huge, beautiful cock. Why would he make things easy for me?

He reached between my legs and grabbed my wrist, stopping me just as things were heating up.

"No," he growled, "I get to fuck you now."

It wasn't a question as much as it was a statement. He grabbed my hips and pulled me towards him. Then as if I weighed nothing he picked me up and rested my ass on the top of the couch. My fingers dug into his skin as he pressed his cock into me without any regard for my comfort. It was big and delicious but fuck it hurt. I cried out at the sensation of my pussy being stretched.

  Ezra smiled.

"Does that feel good?" he asked.

  "No."

"Do you want me to stop?"

"Fuck no," I said. He was gracious enough to listen. Ezra fucked me hard and fast eliciting a scream from me with every thrust. He was so big, so hard, so powerful. He held onto me tight and wouldn't let me wriggle away even though that was my first instinct.

The pressure was too much. I screamed and had the most powerful orgasm of my life. It shot through my body and echoed in every inch of me. Ezra gave a few more grunts and I could feel him filling me up with his hot load.

It was weird. We fell asleep on the couch together. Maybe he was too tired to kick me out. It was uncomfortable but it was nice.

Maybe he thought I was someone else, but he kissed me in his sleep. Just a gentle little kiss on the lips.

  That was nice too.

Now, what the fuck was I going to do?

  CHAPTER FOUR

  Tabby

Ezra woke me up by shaking me.

"What, what's going on?" I asked sleepy but Ezra was throwing his t-shirt at me.

"Quick, put that on. It'll look like a dress. I might have some old women's' leggings lying around that you can wear with it," he ran into his bedroom. I sat down and I could hear his buzzer going off. He rushed back to the living room and threw a pair of black leggings at me and pressed the button.

"Hey, two seconds OK? I'm just getting dressed," he said. He didn't give the person on the other end the chance to speak. He looked at me and growled.

"Get dressed! Hurry up! I need you out of here," he said. I looked at the clothes he'd tossed at me.

"What about my dress?" I asked.

"You can't wear that. Just put on the shirt, OK?" he said. I couldn't understand why he was panicking so much but I did what he said. If his wife was coming home or something then it was already too late. I didn't know why it would matter what I wore. Even if it was obvious that I was doing a walk of shame.

I'd just managed to pull the leggings, which were made for a much smaller woman, over my butt when the there was pounding at the door.

"Ezra! Ezra, we're here. Let us in!" it was a woman's voice. Ezra gave me a worried look and then dove for the door. A gray-haired woman in a matching designer tracksuit set was standing there with a little boy in her arms. He must have been about three.

"Daddy!" he exclaimed when he saw Ezra. Well fuck, that was unexpected. The gray-haired lady wasn't his wife, was she? She gave me a dirty look when she saw me but it didn't seem to be the 'why are you fucking my husband' kind of look.

Ezra smiled and took the kid in his arms. It was maybe the first genuine smile I'd seen from him since I met him last night.

"Joel! You look, great kid, where did you get the firetruck?" he asked. Joel smiled and made the firetruck drive up his Dad's shoulder.

"Grandma got it," he said happily. So the woman was Grandma. This was awkward but I had to have manners.

"I'm Tabby," I said to the woman. She nodded and reluctantly extended her hand for me to shake.

"Doreann," she said. Ezra went white. This wasn't his plan.

"Tabby is going," he said. He gave me a light push just to make his point. Whatever. He was being rude as fuck but I shouldn't have expected any more from him. He was a great lay and nothing more.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'll just be going," I said. The little boy Joel looked up at me and waved.

"Bye bye!" he said. I waved back.

  "Bye-bye," I said.

The kid was cute. He had big brown eyes and dark curls. He didn't look a whole lot like his Dad but they had similar face shapes. Had he really sent the kid to stay with his Grandmother so he could pick up chicks in strip clubs? What a loser. I should have killed him as soon as I had the chance.

I couldn't of course. Not when I saw how that little boy looked at him. That must have been how I looked at my mother once upon a time. How different would my life have been if I'd had her when I was growing up? I'd be a better witch, for one and a better person. Things just would have been better in general. I knew I couldn't do it even though he did deserve it.

That was all right. Death had given me another name after all. It would have to be second time lucky.

Connor Flynn was about to have the worst day of his life.

  CHAPTER FIVE

  Tabby

Death came for me again that night but he wasn't his usual self. He was dressed casually, or as casual as Death got, in a nice black t-shirt and jeans. He smiled when he saw me even though I was wearing a pair of very unsexy flannel pajamas.

"Oh hey," I looked up from the tub of ice cream I was eating and saw him, "I wasn't expecting you tonight. I would have made an effort."

Death sat beside me on the couch. He looked nervous, which was new.

"That's all right Tabby. You look beautiful," he swallowed, "I like your hair in pigtails like that. It's very cute."

  "Aw, thanks," I said.

"How did things go with Ezra?" he said. That was the question I was dreading. He would be mad if I told him. Not because he was a jealous lover. Death had been around for too long to entertain the idea of jealousy. It was because I'd really fucked things up. Fucking Ezra was the last thing that I should have done, but I did it anyway.

"Great," I lied, "Well, great in that I know where he is but I just didn't get the chance to go see him yet."

  Death looked doubtful.

  "You didn't get the chance?"

  "No, no I w
as busy today," I said. Thankfully, he left it at that and didn't poke any holes in my bullshit story, "Is everything good with you?"

"Yeah," he took the remote and turned off the TV and took my ice cream from me. I was only a little bit annoyed, "Hey, Tabby can we talk?"

  "Of course."

"I was thinking. I'm really happy that you're doing this," he said.

"Oh, well. Me too I guess. I like being alive."

"And I like you being alive," he said, "Tabby I was thinking since you're going to be sticking around for longer than we thought that maybe you would like to date me."

He said it so quickly it was if he didn't want me to hear it, but I did.

  I heard it.

  "Date you?"

"Yes. I like fucking around with you but I thought we could be more than that," he said. Then he pulled out a wilted rose from his sleeve, "I got this for you."

I watched as the rose went from wilted, rusty brown color to a vibrant crimson. He brought it back to life just like that.

  It was beautiful to see.

"That's beautiful," I took it from him, "I guess I should put it in some water."

"You don't have to. The rose will live forever. I just wish I could do the same for you," He said. He was looking into my eyes and for once I didn't see Death. I didn't see my fuck buddy either. I saw a beautiful man with the weight of the world pressing down on his shoulders. He'd seen so many people in his years and years at work. He must have seen the most beautiful, brilliant women who ever lived. Yet he wanted me.

I leaned forward and kissed him. It was quick and chaste and took him by surprise, but when I pulled away he was smiling.

"I'd love to date you," I said. His smile got even bigger. His expression was like a teenage boy who'd just had his first kiss. He was ecstatic.

"Thank you," he said, "You know, I brought you something else. I'm not sure if it's a good idea but I hope you'll like it. It's just for the night."

I sat up and watched him reach into his bag and pull out a tiny, squirming brown Pembroke corgi puppy. It must have been just old enough to leave its mother because it was tiny. Its eyes met mine and I knew it wasn't just any puppy.

It was Dexter, my childhood dog. I'd gotten him from my Dad after Mom died. The last time I'd seen him was on the vet's table. He was graying and tired and a little bit fat. This was him the day I got him.

"Dexter," I breathed and reached out for him. I took him in my arms and he happily licked at my face like he once had all those years ago.

"You're not upset, are you? I had to pull a lot of strings to get him. The head of the dog place doesn't really like sharing them," he said.

There were tears in my eyes but I shook my head and kissed the top of Dexter's soft little noggin.

"So he's like this all the time now?" I asked. He playfully nipped my finger.

"Yes. As soon as he died he reverted. No more pain, no more fatigue. He just plays all day and has the time of his life."

"This is the most thoughtful thing anyone has ever done for me," I said and I kissed Death again. Who knew that he was capable of being so thoughtful.

We played for the rest of the evening. Death wasn't used to dealing with dogs so he was awkward at first but after a while, he got the hang of it. We played fetch in the garden with an old tennis ball and then cuddled Dexter by the fire until he fell asleep.

The clock on the wall struck midnight and he had to go. I cried a little bit as I said goodbye to him, but they were happy tears. I was glad that he was at peace, just like I'd always hoped. He disappeared again and I wiped my tears on my sleeve.

Death swept my hair out of my face and saw a hickey on my neck.

"Who gave you that?" he asked. He was curious, not jealous.

  "A guy I met."

"What guy," he replied. I didn't have to say it, "Tabby, did you sleep with Ezra?"

  He laid back and groaned.

"That's how he got out of it last time!" he exclaimed.

  "Wait, what!"

  "He and I...well."

My mind went wild. I wasn't surprised that Death liked men but Ezra was a surprise. The thought of them doing things together just got me hot and bothered. Then I thought of being in the middle of them.

"I'd like to be the filling in that sandwich," I said and Death elbowed me, "All right, all right. Don't worry. I'll get the second guy. What was his name again?"

"Connor Flynn. Please, try not to fuck him."

  "I promise I won't," I said.

I kept my fingers crossed, just in case.

  CHAPTER SIX

  Tabby

Connor owned a gaming shop across town called The Magic Realm. I'd passed it a few times before and looked into the windows. That nerdy stuff looked fun but I was scared that I'd have to deal with gatekeeping neckbeards so I never had the courage to go in.

I didn't know that it was owned by one of the most powerful warlocks in the city.

Now I would have to get the courage, even though I had a lot more to be scared about than silly old neckbeards.

I stepped inside and six heads that seemed to be in the middle of a critical moment in their Dungeons and Dragons campaign turned to look at me with their tongues hanging out. All right, I could have gone with a pair of jeans and a nerdy t-shirt but that wasn't my style. I tried to downplay the sex all the same. I wore Doc Martens with a red tartan mini skirt and a tight black sweater, with some black lipstick for flavor. It still showed off my body.

The guy at the counter looked at me, then at the guys. He snapped his fingers.

"Guys, guys. Back to the game. Nate just rolled a one, remember?" he said and that was enough to get them back to their game.

He smiled at me as I approached the counter. He was handsome, tall and lean but muscled. Like a swimmer. His hair was tousled and dark and he wore a pair of black framed glasses that only seemed to add to his cuteness. Plus his smile was killer.

"Hey," he said, "How are you today? Do you need help with anything?"

I ran my fingers along the twenty-sided dice he had for sale on the counter. They came in all kinds of beautiful colors -sapphire, emerald, topaz.

  "These are nice," I said.

"I know, right. They're so pretty. I'm fond of the amethyst ones myself," he picked up one of the purple ones and showed it to me. It really was stunning, "Do you play a lot of games?"

"No, no I'm new," I said.

  His smile got bigger.

"A newbie? Awesome. I knew I would remember your face if you were here before. We'll have to get you started, won't we?" he said. He pressed the purple die into the palm of my hand, "Take this one anyway. On the house. Maybe it'll be lucky for you."

"You really don't have to do that!"

"I insist," he said, then he lowered his voice, "Just don't tell the guys I'm giving out freebies OK? That was an exclusive offer just for you because you're just starting."

"Thank you," I slipped it into my handbag, "But I was actually wondering if you were hiring at the moment."

I looked over at the guys playing their game. Their eyes kept falling back to me. This was a room full of witnesses that I didn't need.

Connor's face fell a little bit.

"Oh, well I'm sorry. We don't have any vacancies right now and when we do we have a lot of resumes waiting for us," he said, "Everyone wants to work here."

I leaned over the counter just a little bit and smiled at him. I wasn't giving up that easily. His eyes fell to my breasts for less than a second and then he forced himself to look back at me.

"I'll bet. But I really need a job. Could we maybe do an interview?" I asked he bit his lip and looked at me.

"All right," he said. He looked over to the guys, "He Wes, watch the counter will ya? I've gotta take...what was your name?"

  "Tabby."

"I've got to take Tabby out back. I'm Connor by the way," he said. He guided me out to the back of the store, where there was a small break room and a flight of stairs. I
thought we might sit down there but he beckoned me to keep going through a back door that seemed to be locked and bolted down in a hundred different ways.

I watched him open the door slowly and there was light glowing from inside it.

I was frozen to the spot.

"C'mon. We'll get you what you want. Don't be scared," he said.

So he really was a warlock. The room was filled from floor to ceiling with shelf after shelf of potions in every color of the rainbow. Most of them glowed neon while some of them were dark and murky like swamp water. In the middle of the room was a table with a chair on either side. In the corner, I could see a big cauldron. Black and strong like the witches of old had.

"Take a seat," he said and I obeyed. My heart was hammering. I hadn't expected this. Yes, he was a warlock, but I thought he might be a warlock like I was a witch. Someone who happened to be able to do a bit of magic when everything went right. This guy wasn't like that. This guy had studied and he was ready.

"This is amazing," I looked around, "I've never seen so many potions in one place."

  Connor smiled.

"All homemade by yours truly. I tried to outsource but you just can't rely on quality that way, can you?", he said, "So what were you looking for? Most of the girls your age who come in are looking for love and beauty potions, but you don't need the beauty. You've got it already. Are you looking for a boyfriend?"

My throat was dry. I touched the silver ring under the desk.

"Kind of," I said. Connor nodded and pulled out a notebook and pen.

"Kind of. So he's not committing like you want him to? I could make you something bespoke for that," he scribbled a few notes and then he looked at me, "But can I be real with you for a sec Tabby?"

  "Yeah, go ahead."

"If he doesn't appreciate a woman like you then he's an idiot," he said.

  "A woman like me?"

"You're a fucking goddess," he said, without looking up from his notepad. I wasn't sure if it was because he was embarrassed or bored but his words made my heart beat faster.

"I don't want a love spell," I said suddenly. Connor put down his pen and smiled.
