Enticed by a Thug Love

I would have remembered a face like that!
Before I could ask him to repeat what he said, he opened the door and rushed out.
I stood there perplexed, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. If it wasn’t for his cologne that was still prominent, I would have believed that I imagined the whole thing.
It took me a minute to get myself together, and then I slowly made my way out of the stall. I looked around to confirm that the man wasn’t inside the restroom.
What was that about?
Shrugging it off as mistaken identity, I washed my hands and left the bathroom to tell Chantel that I was going. After that weird encounter, it was definitely time for me to leave.
With my head down, I couldn’t help the strange man from entering my thoughts again, and I wondered why he thought he knew me.
He really was captivating.
His eyes were so deep and beautiful.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn’t notice what was going on around me. A loud bang made me jump and finally look up.
When I did, I damn near died when I saw men shooting at each other, and I was in the middle!
Screaming, I ducked and covered my ears with my hands. I knew that I needed to run, but I was too scared to move. It was like my feet lost all capacity or my brain forgot how to send the message to my feet to make them move or something. I didn’t know, all I knew was that I was stuck in place.
Suddenly, I was pulled back and pressed against the wall by a strong and tall body. I looked up and saw that it was the same man from the stall only minutes ago. His body was pressed against mine, and I could see that he was firing back at three men.
What in the world is going on?
The man pulled me off the wall and pushed me behind him. He backed us up to the door at the end of the hall while bullets flew all around us.
Just as I hit the back door and pushed it open, his body jerked and bumped into mine.
“Ahhhhh!!” I screamed and we both fell to the ground.
My eyes widened when I saw that this man had been shot.
He looked up at me while holding his side, and then he started yelling at me, but I was in a daze after seeing him shot, and I had no idea what he was saying to me. Everything was happening too fast and confusing me.
I jumped when another loud bang sounded, and I saw a man with a low fade rushing over. The three men who was shooting at us were now on the floor dead.
My hand shot up to my mouth.
The man from the stall grabbed me and pulled me up to my feet. From his eyes, I could see that he was angry.
Lord, please don’t let me die tonight.
“Man, what the fuck happened?” the man with the low fade yelled to the guy who had a death drip on my arm.
“Surge, get this bitch away from me! Shit!”
I frowned when the stranger called me a bitch, especially after I didn’t do a damn thing to warrant him calling me that.
Before I could tell him about himself, he roughly and rudely pushed me into the other man.
I opened my mouth to tell this man, Surge, to get his hands off me, but he gave me a look that let me know I better not say shit, so I didn’t.
Surge pulled me away toward the front of the building. Just before I turned the corner, I looked back at the man from the stall, and he was staring right at me.
This man, Surge, continued to drag me until we were back at the front of the building. People were spilling outside of the club screaming and running.
I was suddenly let go and pushed away from him. He glared at me as I looked up at him.
“You didn’t see shit. Do you hear me?” he said, and my mouth dropped.
From his eyes, I knew that his silent threat wasn’t a joke, so I simply nodded.
With that, he took off around the corner to the back of the building while I stood there in a daze.
“A’Moya! Where were you?!” Chantel ran over to me and stood in my face. She looked me up and down to see if I was hurt before looking in my face again.
“We need to go! They were shooting in the club!”
I nodded to acknowledge that I knew, and she grabbed my hand. We took off running with the rest of the crowd until we reached her car.
As soon as she unlocked it, we jumped in, and she took off out of that parking lot like it was on fire.
While she sped away from the club, I turned in my seat and stared at the building.
What the fuck just happened?
Jashawn ‘Surge’ Ramsey
This chick looked like she wanted to jump stupid, but thankfully, she didn’t. I had too much shit going on to deal with her ass right now like how the fuck my brother Legion got shot.
I knew it had something to do with this chick because I had never seen her before. And when I finally got through the club and out to where he was, he was yelling all type of shit at this chick.
Hopefully, she would keep her fucking mouth closed.
Getting to the back of the club, I jogged over to Legion who was leaning on the wall and holding his side.
“Bro, you good?” I put my hand on his shoulder and asked.
He looked at me and sighed.
“The fuck happened?”
Shit happened so fucking fast, I was still trying to process what the hell happened.
After I texted Legion to let him know that we had the other niggas his target came with, a bunch of Trojan’s niggas walked up in the club, and I knew shit was about to go fucking left. I quickly texted Legion to tell him he needed to hurry up. Just as I saw two more of his target’s niggas go his direction, shots fired when one of my soldiers noticed Trojan’s boys. It was mayhem after that.
Trojan was a nigga who ran New Jersey and other neighboring states. The nigga was OG; just like my dad. When word around town started circulating about my dad stepping down and leaving it to Wrath, Trojan sent his niggas in trying to take over, thinking that my brother was soft, but he wasn’t ready for my motherfucking brother.
Wrath put a stop to that shit and let niggas know that New York had a new king in town. After that, Trojan went quiet for a minute.
Wrath had a few run ins here and there with his people over the years, but never anything substantial.
I guess that shit was about to change because it was like as soon as my boys saw Trojan’s people, shots were fired.
By the time I dealt with the niggas inside of the club, I heard shots coming from the restrooms.
I got out there as soon as I could and took out the two niggas who were shooting at my brother as he backed out the door. He had already killed his target and two other niggas at this point.
And that’s when I found him with that chick.
I looked at his side where the bullet hit him.
Legion looked at me again and shook his head.
“She was in the bathroom. I told her stupid ass to stay until I sent someone back for her, but she didn’t fucking listen! As soon as I killed my target and his boy, I backed out of the restroom, and the other three niggas pulled their guns, just as her ass walked out. I should have let her ass get shot!” Legion angrily spat.
I looked at him confused as fuck because he wasn’t someone who helped people, especially not when he was on a job.
Legion had tunnel vision, and all he saw was his target. Anyone who got in his way were just casualties of war. He didn’t give a fuck about what happened to anyone else around, as long as he got his man.
Now, here he was telling me that he had not only told a bitch to stay put but judging from the fact that she was outside with him and he was standing there bleeding, he didn’t have to tell me that he had protected her too.
“Why did you go in the restroom, L?”
“I don’t fucking know! Shit!”
I opened my mouth to ask him another question, but he looked at me and shook his head, letting me know that he didn’t want to talk about the shit.
“We gotta get outta here. Someone called the
boys,” my boy Pac ran over and said. We called him that because he was dead stamp of Tupac’s ass.
“I’m out,” Legion said and pushed himself off the wall. He grimaced when he did.
“Yo, bro, you need to go see someone about that.”
In all the years he had been a hitta, I had never seen my brother shot. That’s just how good he was.
“I’m straight,” was all he said before he jumped in his car and pulled away.
I stood there and watched his car disappear and even after it had.
What was going on with him?
Thinking I would deal with it another day, I sent Wrath a quick message to let him know what happened tonight as I made my way to the front of the building since my car was out there.
Just as I unlocked my car and was about to jump in, I looked up and noticed a blacked-out G-Wagon driving slowly past me.
I immediately grabbed my gun and took the safety off once I realized who it was.
The window rolled down, and Trojan’s bitch ass looked right at me.
My finger was itching to shoot at that motherfucker, but with the bodies I had just laid out in the club, and the people standing outside, I knew it was too hot for me to do that. Plus, I could hear sirens resonating in the distance.
Trojan continued to look at me from his car. Smirking, I grabbed my dick, letting him know that he could suck it, and then jumped in my car. He knew just like I did that it was too hot for him to shoot at me.
I watched his car speed off in one direction, and I took off in the opposite one.
“We gotta do something about this nigga Trojan!” Pac said, and I nodded because he was right.
It had been a minute since we’d had an incident with Trojan, but I guess now the nigga wanted to show his face again—for what reason, I did not know.
“He was probably seeing if we were still running.” I made a verbal observation.
“You think that was it?” Pac asked.
Chuckling, I shook my head, knowing that this was just the beginning.
I made a mental note to check on Legion tomorrow as I stopped off for some gas.
Pac pumped my gas for me while I went inside to get some wraps and a bottle of water. After paying for my shit, I was on my way out of the store when the door opened, and a tall, light skinned nigga walked in.
I wouldn’t have thought anything of it if it wasn’t for the fact that the nigga was looking right at me like he knew me or something.
Studying his face, I knew I didn’t know this nigga. Plus, he wasn’t dressed like a New Yorker; he looked like he was from outta town, which let me know that I definitely didn’t know him.
His eyes burned with recognition as they watched my face.
That made my antennas go up, and I reached for my weapon. Of course, right at that moment, the doors opened and two cops who were not on our payroll strolled in.
The tall nigga’s eyes landed on them too before he looked back at me with a smirk. When he turned to the side, I saw a tattoo on his neck that said Bully. Something about his smirk rubbed me the wrong fucking way.
He walked past me and continued to look me in the face.
I nodded at him to let his ass know it wasn’t over. I was good at faces, so I knew I would see his ass again.
Thoughts of waiting outside for him to see what was up crossed my mind, but I had brought enough attention to myself today. That was the only reason why this nigga was going to see me next time.
As I climbed into the car, all I could do was sigh.
Something in my stomach told me that some shit was about to pop off, and I wasn’t just talking about Trojan.
Pharaoh ‘Legion’ Ramsey
“Do you care to explain what the fuck happened tonight?!” my dad yelled over my phone.
Unbothered by his ranting, I took a pull of my blunt before slowly blowing it out through my nose. I was already pissed at myself for doing such a sloppy ass job, and I didn’t need this irrelevant nigga talking shit too.
“If you didn’t already know what happened, you wouldn’t be calling me now.”
He of all people knew I didn’t talk unless I fucking needed or wanted to. The fuck should I explain what happened when clearly, he had already heard, which was why he was calling me.
The nigga gets on my fucking nerves!
To say I hated my pops would be an understatement; I completely despised everything about that nigga. The only reason I dealt with him was that, unfortunately, I worked for him. All my jobs came through him, and if it wasn’t for that, I would never deal with that fucking nigga at all. Hate wasn’t even a strong enough word to describe how I felt about him.
I wasn’t close to my pops at all, never had been. The only thing between us was the fact that our fucking DNA matched.
He went quiet, signaling that he was mad, but who gave a fuck? The nigga was just lucky I let his ass live. And the only reason why he was still breathing was that, for some reason, the person who sent through the jobs would only deal with him.
Trust me, I tried to go it alone, and since killing people was the only thing I knew how to do, I had no choice but to work for him.
“I’m going to deduct tonight from your pay, Pharaoh. Get your shit together!” he barked and then hung up on me.
I closed my eyes, just so I could envision killing him. Something I had been hoping I could do since I was a kid.
Putting my phone down on the table, I picked up my glass of Henny and downed it.
After tonight, I needed a few more of those and maybe another blunt to deal with the shit that was going through my mind.
I knew better, and I still did the shit.
What was going on with me?
It wasn’t like me to give a fuck about anyone else. Once I saw my target, that’s all I saw, like on some tunnel vision type shit. If niggas got killed being at the wrong place at the wrong time, that didn’t move me at all. As long as I got my job done and my money, I was good.
So, even as I sat there trying to figure out why I even went into that restroom after that chick, I still had no answer.
After pouring myself another glass of Henny, I stared into space as my mind brought me back to when I saw that chick.
She opened the door, and I rushed inside, but as I looked at her face, I found myself stuck. For a few seconds, I just stared at her. Not only was she beautiful, but there was an innocence to her too.
I didn’t mean that fake innocence that some bitches pretended to be. You know the ones who fuck niggas five seconds after meeting them and say they’ve never done anything like that before, knowing damn well they be out there like that? Not that kind of innocence, but real innocence.
I could see it in her eyes.
Her skin was a smooth, chocolate complexion and looked so fucking soft. She had big and slanted eyes, her nose looked like a button, and her lips were full and pouty. Shorty’s eyebrows were perfect, and her lashes were long.
I was a lot taller than her slim thick body, which looked so right in the black dress she had on. And that hair—it was big and curly, framing her small face perfectly.
She looked like a perfect doll.
After taking in her appearance, I knew right then and there that I didn’t want her hurt. Why, I couldn’t tell you, because I didn’t know her, but I just knew it—I felt it. Which is why I told her to stay in the stall and not come out no matter what she heard and that I would send someone to get her when it was safe.
I guess she wasn’t as innocent as I thought because less than two minutes later, she walked her ass out and right into the fire.
By the time I warned her, my target was walking out of the men’s restroom. His eyes locked with mine, and it was like he knew what I was there to do because the nigga pulled his gun, and so did his boy.
I shot both of them just as the chick came out of the restroom, and three other niggas burst through the door. Even then—when I was pissed that I even bothered to help, only for her to do what she wan
ted to anyway—I still chose to save her.
Bullets were flying over her head toward me, and I knew that all it would take was for her to move an inch, and one would have hit her. That would have been my chance to leave her, yet, I still couldn’t.
Doing something I had never done before, I found myself protecting her.
I grabbed her and pressed her against the wall while I shot at the niggas. And I further surprised myself when I pushed her toward the back entrance and used my body to shield hers.
It was almost like I was watching a movie and couldn’t stop myself from doing the shit. I was protecting this chick like I knew her ass or something. Trust me when I say, I saw the errors in my bullshit as soon as that fucking bullet hit my side.
I was more pissed that I allowed myself to get shot because I had never been shot before. Usually, I was so quick that niggas didn’t realize until it was too late. Nobody ever saw me coming. Not only did my target see me, but I got shot all because of a chick I didn’t even fucking know!
“There you go, Legion. All done; it was just a flesh wound,” Gena said while putting a gauze on my side where I was shot.
I was happy to know it was only a flesh wound because, if it wasn’t, I would have wanted to track that chick down and put a bullet in her head.
That’s what my ass gets!
Gena smiled up at me, and I winked at her.
She was a nurse who I had been fucking with for about two years. We met after my stepsister broke her ankle, and I took her to the hospital. I had seen her a few times before I finally decided to ask for her number.
The last chick I was fucking with before that was causing too much fucking drama, so I had to let that go. I was too much of a private person to allow too many chicks around me, so I usually only fucked with one chick at a time. There were too many problems in my life to add more by having a plethora of women. Wasn’t something that I wanted or needed in my life.
Gena was cool and fine as hell. She stood at 5’6”, with a light caramel complexion, light brown eyes, a thick body with big titties and ass, and she kept her hair in a short, Kerry Hilson pixie cut.
