“You know me…I know how to pick them, Tommy. Present company excluded of course, Kristina.”
“Mhm. Of course, Trent. If it makes you feel any better, I know how to pick them too. My client ended up being your ex-lover and a psychopath too. Had she not gotten the drop on me, I would have taken her.”
“Oh, yeah. I know, she probably blindsided you or something.”
“Well, she did. It was a cheap shot.”
“Hey… you don’t have to prove it to me. I know you’re a bad ass. You could have easily taken her had you not be blindsided.”
“I’m just stating the facts.”
Trent cleared his throat and quickly changed the subject, not wanting to upset Kristina any further. “I don’t know about you Tommy, but I’m famished. Why don’t you go home and let me borrow your car for a bit.”
“You want to borrow my car. This car. This car that I told you I’ve invested lots of blood, sweat, and tears in? You want to borrow this car?”
“Um…yeah. I’ll bring it back in the morning. Hell I’ll probably even put gas in it. I know you hate spending your own money on that.”
“Well you’re right. Okay, we’ll switch out when we get back to the mansion.”
They dropped Tommy off so he could get some rest, then Trent jingled the keys in Kristina’s direction. “Hee hee. Looks like we’ve got the best of the city night life to look forward to. Anywhere in particular you’d like to go, Kristina?”
“You forget that I have clients waiting on me across the border. Of course now the New Zealand is a bust I still have a job in South America and one in Europe the week after next, I believe.”
“Kristina… I’m sure the person that they want you to kill will be happy with an extra night to live. Come on, it’s just one night.”
“Fine.”
Trent pulled up at the hotel where everything had apparently been cleaned up from the incident and wagged his eyebrows at Kristina. “Get out.”
“What? What’s going on?”
“I think you owe me another at least half a night. I think we were having a conversation before you got me shot at.”
“Oh Trent.”
“Kristina…I know I don’t have to say it. I know that this may not work. I don’t care if it does or doesn’t at this point. I don’t want to rationalize it or be afraid of it. I just want to know that in this one life I have to live on Earth, I did everything in my power to make you the happiest woman alive. I think that if I can manage that, then I will have lived a very successful life. I’ll die a happy man at least.”
“Trent…come on. Let’s go.”
Trent led her by the hand into the hotel lobby where he saw his favorite desk clerk was still working. He smiled and nodded at him. The desk clerk gave him a wink and threw him a hotel key. It was different the one he had been give before and he accepted it graciously. Maybe Tommy had a point about bringing fresh blood into the organization. “Thanks kid. What’s the closest way to get to this one?”
“Take the side elevator on the East end. You’ll wind up just a couple feet from the room.”
“Thanks, I appreciate it…just put this on our tab.”
“You got it boss.”
They entered the elevator and before Kristina could protest Trent wrapped his arms around her and bent at his knees. He then picked her up with her feet hanging over one of his arms. “Oh Trent… no you’re not.”
“Oh yes, yes I am. This is happening Kristina. This should have happened years ago. I should have never let you walk out of my life to begin with. I’m not going to now. At least not without a fight.”
“Trent… we have such separate lives.”
“Yeah, but what’s the point in that Kristina. We’ve tried dating other people and it clearly didn’t work out. Tommy says he always believes things happen for a reason. I think the reason why it never worked out with anyone else is because we were meant to be together, plain and simple.”
The elevator landed on the floor and Trent, still carrying Kristina in his arms, keyed into the room. He smiled and chuckled when he saw that the kid at the desk had reserved the honeymoon suite for him. “Trent… did you plan this?!”
“No. Not at all.”
“Damn. I was getting ready to give you some major sweet points. Trent, I don’t care the situation, but this is romantic. Wow. It’s all so pretty.” The room was decorated mostly in red and black, but there was a few pinks thrown in for contract in places. The king size bed had its own set of curtains for privacy and it appeared there was even a couples massage table as well as free champagne and chocolate for the happy couple. Trent sat next to Kristina on the large bed and turned her face to his once more, caressing her cheek. “Kristina…we’ve been through so much together. I just think this finally feels right. It’s the right time. I love you, Kristina and I’m going to prove it to you tonight and hopefully the rest of your life.”
“Trent… I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever for you to finally say that. Come here.”
Trent touched the side of Kristina’s face once more and was careful to be tender with the delicate flesh that was still bruised on that side of her body. He then ran his fingers through her soft red hair and inhaled deeply. Nothing on Earth smelled as good as Kristina. He was convinced when the angels finally took him to Heaven, the trail there would be lined with flowers made from her scent. Trent then kissed the side of her cheek timidly and softly before moving to her lips once more. He thought to himself that he could just kiss her forever and be content. Kissing her was much more intoxicating than kissing Rachelle. When he kissed Kristina he felt like it was endless, but when he kissed Rachelle, he only felt there would be a final moment to the kiss that neither one of them would be happy with. It looked like his initial judgment was right. Kristina’s eyes shot open as she looked at him. “Trent…what’s wrong? You grew still for a moment. Are you okay?”
“Yes, I’m fine… I suppose I was just thinking about the past.”
“Hey… slugger, you don’t have to do that now, you know that?”
“Do what?”
“You don’t have to be the ultra-macho tough guy anymore. You don’t have to eat all of those feelings. I know you’re sad about Rachelle, and that’s completely fine Trent. I understand. You two grew close… it’s okay to miss her, it’s okay to think about her, because at the end of the night you’re with me and that’s all that counts.”
“Yes. I finally feel like I’m at home with you Kristina. I feel you’re being completely honest about that and you’ll let me have time and space to feel how I want to. Rachelle never gave me neither one. She dished out ultimatums and made me choose her over everything else in the world. Hell I didn’t even get to talk to Tommy for months on end and you know how close we are.”
“I do. You don’t have to do that with me.”
“You know what, Kristina?”
“What’s that?”
“I’m one lucky son of a bitch. Tommy always says that if luck be a lady you want treat her the best way you possibly can so she’ll still around for longer. For me, Kristina, I think that lady’s you. You’re my luck and my love, I get the best of both worlds.” Trent pulled Kristina to him once more only this time he wasn’t as timid as he was before. He allowed the spark between them to heat the fire in his loins and he quickly stretched her out on the posh red sheets that had been set exclusively for them. He then pulled her loose dress up and over her body, revealing her flawless body beneath it. “You’re so fucking beautiful, Kristina. I want you to know that no one could ever compare to you. Not now or ever, you understand?”
“Yes, I understand Trent. Now come here and warm me up…we’ve got a long night of celebrating. It’s about time we made up for lost time.”

HAWKE
The Outlaws started with nothing but a common leader.
My life had always been unbearable.
It was loud and unstable.
I joined the club to find my purpose.
To give myself peace of mind.
Today, the town is our arena and the MC Club room is home.
Our President, Tank, is ruthless.
The five Outlaw men continue to reign under his leadership.
Power is the name of the game.
We’re dangerous, insatiable and know how to protect our women.
And we stop at nothing until we emerge victorious.
SPARROW
She walked into my life when I was supposed to stay out of trouble.
All I had to do was join the club and mind my own business.
Now her gorgeous curves are all I can think about.
The plan was to have one taste of her, and then let her go.
But I’ve been left wanting so much more.
The problem, though?
She’s the MC President’s daughter.
The one woman who is completely off-limits.
This is the kind of trouble that my brother warned me about.
He won’t bail me out this time.
The stakes are too high.
But the risk is worth the reward.
Besides, it’s my heart on the line.
They say I’m a rule breaker…
And I’m about to show them just how far I could go to take what’s mine.
CARDINAL
Just when I thought I’d never see her again,
she walks right into my bar…
I’m the new pres of the MC, the Outlaws are
counting on me to hold things together.
To keep a drug war for happening and tearing the club apart.
I’m prepared to do just that until I get arrested,
a DUI slapped on me by a cop that hates the MC.
And then I see her. Paige Travers.
The beautiful red head who is now my lawyer, and becomes the only thing I care about.
Nothing has ever been more important than the club—until her.
FALCON
I live a life of no surprises, but she is the best one that there is.
Chantal Hailey, the damsel in distress, is going to be mine.
I can deny it all I want, but she’s the sunlight in my dark and boring life.
The guys at the MC, they understand what it’s like.
She’s my escape, my sunshine.
And I’m ready to stand in the sun.
ROBIN
Just for one night, we wanted each other, and that was supposed to be it.
When Emily showed up at my club, I was already thinking of all the things I could do to her.
Relationships aren’t my thing,
commitment— But she changed all of that.
I had to do whatever it took to keep her,
even when I had more secrets than she bargained for.
Emily changed me, took away my pain, and understood my heart.
Even though we started off as complete strangers, who only bargained for one night.
OWL
I have wanted her for years, and I never thought I would have her.
Amy Clemens has been the secret light in my life since I laid eyes on her.
I watch her every move, she lives in my dreams.
But she off limits.
Not because I am dark, hardened by my life,
but because her brother is my best friend and club brother.
I can't have her, no matter how much I want her.
Until one night she gets too drunk and I have to take care of her,
and all the risks just fade away.
I need her. I want her. I take her.
And I don’t plan on letting her go.

Never Remembered
Chapter 1
“Wow! Look at that one go! Ya know this was the best idea I think Tommy ever had in his life!” Trent turned to Kristina and had a wide grin on his face. They were standing at the airport and Trent insisted they stick around for a few minutes and watched some of the planes take off. Kristina had been trying for months to make him feel a bit better about himself and to chip away at the hard exterior that he put on.
“Trent! Hah! Why are you so fascinated by those planes, it’s not like you haven’t seen them before.”
“I haven’t seen them in this skyline before, so for it counts as something new in my book.”
“Hmm… is this why you can watch different baseball games? Because they’re all different teams?”
“Yeah…kinda. I mean the games the same, but the elements are all different and can vary from one series to another. What can I say? I like surprises.”
“Haha, well I’ll definitely keep that in mind.” Kristina whirled around behind Trent and wrapped her arms around his waist, gently nipping at his ear as she pulled him away from the airstrip.”
He turned around and smiled at her, then wrapped her up in his arms, kissing her deeply before turning around and walking with her to their waiting car. “Wow. It looks like Tommy decided that we needed to go expensive on this trip. I can’t wait to see the hotel suite he got us.”
“Oh you know how Tommy is with his money. He’ll give so freely, but he never really spends much on himself unless he’s gambling.”
“Yeah, still though you have to admit that him sending us on a vacation was an offer we couldn’t turn down. I know that you’ve been bored to tears just hanging around the mansion.”
“Well, I feel much better now that you decided to finally pack up that rat trap apartment that you’ve been staying in all these years and actually look for a home with me.”
The waiting car was of course, already in route to their destination and Trent looked out the window through his darkened sunglasses. His brow did furrow though on the mention of moving out of his apartment. He considered it his own safe haven through the years. It was a place he could hang his hat and it also kept his secrets. He sighed at the thought of leaving it for a shared location, but if it were for Kristina it would be worth the sacrifice. He had been madly in love with the girl ever since he was a teenager and it was time that they took their relationship to the next level. After all, both of them had tried dating a string of different people, but none of those relationships ever seemed to pan out. Every time that he felt like he could get close to another, Kristina would pop back up and all of his doubt and all of those old feelings came flooding right back to him. She somehow had managed to get under his skin and in his heart.
“Hey, Trent! Earth to Trent! What you thinking about?”
“Oh…nothing, I’m just a bit tired I guess. Jet lag maybe?”
Kristina rubbed his thigh above his knee gently and then snuggled up closer to him, laying her head on his shoulder. He draped his arm around her and placed a soft kiss on her forehead while running his fingers through her hair. He inhaled sharply, he wanted to absorb her scent into his soul. That way the moment would be locked in his head forever. If his mind had a camera he wanted it to be full of nothing but their good times together. “Trent! You are a million miles away…come on, what’s really going on with you? You still seem so worried.”
“Yeah, I am I guess. Honestly I feel kinda guilty leaving Pop and Tommy behind to handle the rest of the business affairs. After the funeral though things were strained, there was a lot of ground to catch up. We had to recoup a lot of territory and of course, money.”
“Hey. None of that talk anymore. We all know that you needed a break. I mean Pop saw it from a mile away, you were becoming frigid and cold again. Hell, even Tommy was worried about you for a while. He saw a darkness in you growing. He said you seemed like your light switch was just turned off. Then
again, I understand. I mean, I wouldn’t haven’t expected your crazy ex-girlfriend to come back and try to kill everyone in your family and your circle either.”
“Sigh. I still can’t believe that happened. It seems like just one awful dream. I still don’t understand it. I mean what was the point?”
The car pulled up to their posh hotel and the driver put it in park. He got out and opened both of their doors. He waited for the bellhop to come out and take their suitcases before he pulled off wordlessly. Kristina took Trent’s offered elbow and they walked into the hotel arm in arm.
As they entered their room, Trent was delighted to discover that Tommy had booked them a suite. It wasn’t exactly the honeymoon suite, but it was fairly close. Trent let out a low whistle as he turned the corner and saw the lounge area in front of the bedroom. It was opulent and had ample seating as well as one of the most technological advanced television sets he’d ever seen. He noted the fully stocked bar and nodded in approval when he saw their bags had already been delivered to the room. “Hey, now this is nice! It looks like I may have to give Tommy some credit after all. He may actually have some taste I didn’t know about.” Kristina smiled at him and looked around the room in awe. If she had to pick a room for her own perfect night, this would be it. “I agree. Oh, Trent! I love it. It’s so elegant and beautiful. It’s understated but also romantic.”
“You like these colors?”
“Yeah, I mean I think the whole heart-shaped bed, red on red is completely overdone. This is much more refined and still warm.”
“That doesn’t sound like the hard-hearted assassin I know.”
“Hey! I do have a softer side, it’s just you don’t see it as often as I see yours.”
Trent put his arms around Kristina, who cocked her eyebrow at him dangerously. “Hmm… so are you saying I’m weak?”
