Mindy - reference to the top picture in the Fellatio Hall of Fame, who is one of three varsity cheerleaders who are antagonistic toward Tess.
Morrigan - a skinwalker also known as Changing Woman whose other forms include Rainbow Morrigan, Bart the crow (called Rainbow Bart on occasion), Bart the rainbow crow and an Orin white face cow amongst many others. See Bart Baxter.

Nasteuh - was Spitemorta's Damned Baby who was so evil that the Fairy sisters, Celeste, Alvita and Nacea were unable to save her by any other means than to turn her over to the great oak tree Longbark to unmake her. Once Longbark had removed her threat to the world by unmaking her, she created the Fairy Teeuh from her parts. See Spitemorta and also see Teeuh.
Ocker - cock raven with magical powers who lives with his mate, Urr-Urr, above Razzorbauch's keep on the edge of the Chokewoods. In the beginning he stole Changing Woman away from Talking Father. He was the raven who hung the stars in the sky. He was also Bran.

Philpott, Sergeant - a member of the underground who, with Sergeant Llygad, brings word of Kellen and Cait to Maxi.

Powers, Mr. - Tess's World History teacher, also known to the students as Glowers and Sowers due to his disposition, breath and armpits.
Prentiss, Amy - head cheerleader at Gollsport High School who is jealous of Tess's “new look.”
Razzmorten - Razzmorten Dewin, a good wizard, father of Queen Minuet, brother of Razzorbauch.
Razzorbauch - an evil wizard, twin brother of Razzmorten, murdered Gastron, created the Chokewoods and the Fudge Volcano and while burning Niarg's crops was killed by King Hebraun.
Rhosyn - Cait Greenwood's maiden name.
Shanta - pimply girl with a potato nose who stands up to Amy the cheerleader for Tess.
Silhouette - a Children and Family Assistance policeman who strikes Tess with his e-truncheon and helps haul away her family.
Spitemorta - Mad Reaper Witch or Baineor Buile Cailli, brown eyed, raven haired daughter of Ugleeuh, granddaughter of Demonica. She was the queen of Goll and the mother of Abaddon, Nasteuh, Veyfnaryr and Pandora the Potentate. She was secretly given by Ugleeuh to Queen Bee of Goll to raise. She was thought to be the granddaughter of Razzmorten until the great oak Longbark touched Abaddon and determined that he was the great-grandson of Razzorbauch.
Teeuh - a Fairy with giant luna moth wings and shark teeth, who was remade by the oak tree Longbark from Nasteuh. She is herte suster to Tess, and with the Crystal Heart and Great Staff is the most powerful Fairy in existence. See Nasteuh and also see Spitemorta.
Trent - see Trent Warren.
Ugleeuh - the Collector Witch, Bailitheoir Cailli, Carlin Cruinnich, Demonica's daughter, Spitemorta's mother, Minuet's half-sister and Pandora's grandmother.
Urr-Urr – hen raven, wife of Ocker. She is the top raven in the Forest Primeval, owner of all that she sees ftom her nest.
Unben, Warden - governor of Nameless Prison and Coal Mine in the Northern Ash Mountains.
Veyfnaryr - (trollish for His Super Natural Power) Spitemorta's trollbrute child, the first troll ever to have magical powers.
Warren, Jasmine - hard bitten teenage Human (here, Human is a race and therefore capitalized), Trent Warren's sister.

Wells, Dr. - the doctor who performs surgery on Mort Baxter.

Atlantis - the capitol of the World Alliance, situated under a gigantic acrylic dome beneath the Orin Ocean between the Northern and Eastern continents.
Bratin - the capitol of Bratin Brute, now a ghost town.
Bratin Brute - in the days of Spitemorta, small kingdom north of Cyclopsia and south of the Jut of Niarg.
Broadstreet - the troll ward, a chain link fenced compound encompassing what was once the financial district of Gollsport, given the same name.
Cyclopsia - in the days of Spitemorta, the realm of the Cyclopses between Chokewoods, Braten Brute and Goll.
Cyclops Plateaus - where Ownlee and Spike lived in Spitemorta's time, next to the Valley of Illusions in Cyclopsia.
Cwm Eryr - valley in the Ash Mountains that opens onto Ashmore, where King Hebraun slew the Golls.
Dead Lake - reference in Tess's time to Jutland Lake, which surrounds the ruins of the island castle of Oilean Gairdin.
Derwen - small farming village, eight miles south of Gollsport on the Fairy River.
Eastern Continent - Lobhadh (Jutish Elven), Gwael (Old Niarg Standard), Gwaremm (Headlandish), Yn Cheer My Hiar (Gwaelic Elven), Brastyr Howldrehevel (Gwaelic), Fearann Ear (Goblish-Beakish), Fafnafaf (trollish), where Gwael was situated. Pandora sat on the throne of Gwael before becoming potentate of the World Alliance.
Eat Street - restaurant and tavern district in Atlantis.
Fairy River - flows from the Fairy Valley, past Fairy Valley Junction to Derwen (south of Gollsport) to empty into the Gulf of Orin.
Fairy Valley Road - the road running by Tess's flat in the South Barracks and on, out of Gollsport.
Fairy Valley Road Barracks - the compound where Tess Greenwood lives.
Fates Church - church just outside of Derwen, where Maud took Tess.
Feathered Dragon - the first tavern where Sam took Nia to eat, which specialized in Darkland cuisine.
Forest Preserve Road - a mere street in Atlantis leading to the Preserve which begins immediately where the houses stop.
Forest Primeval - (Forest Primycies) the vast virgin oak forest that once covered all of the Fairy Valley and all of what was turned into the Chokewood Forest by Razorbauch.

Marr, the Kingdom of - in Spitemorta's day, the kingdom of the Beaks, made up of an extensive region of fens called Beakmore or the Beakmoor, that were known as the Gobbler Marshes (Marshmallow Marshes) during the Peppermint Forest days, which surround a raised pastoral part of the Kingdom known as Caistealbeak, which includes the village of Caistealbeak which surrounds the Beak Castle, known as Caisteal-Beak.
