“Nothing.” She stepped in and shut the door.

Lucas admired her small ass in the cute pajamas. He could just make out the lower curve of her buttocks, and her legs were long and tanned.

“I just wanted to see you both.”

  “Here we are.” Mason grinned.

  Lucas held out his arms.

When she reached him, he tugged her onto his lap, wrapping her small, sweet body in his arms. He kissed her shoulder, breathing in her powdery scent.

She snuggled close. “The kids are all in bed, except for Banna. Harry is helping her with revision; she’s got that math exam coming up.”

“Not until next week,” Lucas said.

“Yes, but it’s on her revision timetable today, and with the unexpected guests this afternoon, she didn’t get to it. It won’t take her long, then she’s going to catch up with her program on Netflix.”

“She’s going to ace these exams,” Mason said. “Her teachers were very pleased at her last parents’ evening.”

“I know.” Olivia smiled. “She’s a smart cookie.”

Lucas felt the familiar sense of pride when talking about the children. They’d come so far, were so well rounded, and grabbed every opportunity. He couldn’t imagine life without them and didn’t dare think about what would have happened if they hadn’t found them aboard Joan D’Arc that day.

“Dante was talking about Harvard or UCLA for her,” Mason said.

  “What?” Lucas frowned. “America.”

“I’m not sure.” Olivia stroked her hand up Lucas’s forearm, flicking the pale hairs there back on themselves then smoothing them down again.

“I’m sure I don’t want her on a different continent from us,” Lucas said. “What happens when she needs us?”

“We take the Lear. That’s what Harry will say.” Mason frowned.

“It’s too far. There’s good universities here in Australia,” Olivia said. “I can’t imagine her being so many thousands of miles away.”

“That’s agreed then.” Mason sat on the bed opposite again. “And besides, she might not want to leave Greg.”

Olivia giggled, a light little sound that drew a smile from Lucas. “I really don’t think it’s serious. They’re so young.”

“She said something about going to the dance with him next month,” Lucas said.

  “She did. When?”

“When she and I were cleaning tack the other day.”

“Oh.” Olivia paused. “I guess I’ll have to take her dress shopping.”

“You will.” Lucas pulled her closer. Olivia was such a great mother, to all their children. He didn’t know how she found time to make everyone feel special and loved, but she did. She always did.

“So,” she said. “You er…okay with what Harry and Evan just told you?”

“Sure,” Lucas said. “What’s not to be okay about?”

“They were worried about telling you both.” She glanced at Mason.

“Seems I’m the most surprised. Raul and Lucas don’t seem to be.”

“I’m surprised because I didn’t know,” Lucas said. “But that doesn’t mean I’m bothered, that it changes anything for me.”

“Good.” Olivia squeezed his arm. She turned to Mason. “Does it change anything for you?”

“Well, if I drop the soap in the shower, I won’t be bending over to pick it up if they’re around.”

  “Mason!” Lucas frowned.

Mason laughed. “Oh, come on, I’m teasing. I don’t care either, as long as they’re happy and as long as you’re happy, Olivia.”

  “I am, very.”

“Good, and the children are flourishing, the station is ticking along nicely. I’m cool about it all.” Mason stood and stepped close. He cupped her cheeks and lowered his head. “I understand that Evan has had to face demons, that living here has made them real. So if he and Harry sharing something special helps with that, then I’m pleased for them.”

“His demons have been particularly evil,” Olivia said. “And he kept them hidden from the world for a long time.”

“Aye, never would have guessed it when we first met him,” Lucas agreed.

Mason gave Olivia a gentle kiss. “Never would have guessed we’d end up here, together either.”

“No,” she said, then swiped her tongue over her bottom lip. “We wouldn’t have.”

“One wife, five husbands, five children, a huge Australian sheep station.” Lucas smiled

“It’s certainly a far cry from living on Temptress,” she agreed.

  Mason kissed her again.

Lucas was aware of a stirring in his groin. He slid his palm up Olivia’s back, beneath her top, absorbing her warmth and softness.

“You’ll sleep with us tonight?” Mason spoke against her lips.

“Yes.” She nodded and ran her hand up his arm, the one with the dense tattoo. “I want that.”

“We want you,” Lucas whispered in her ear.

Mason smiled, straightened, and walked to the door. He flicked the lock.

A small tremble went through Olivia.

  “What is it?” Lucas asked.

“Nothing… I want you, too.” She twisted, found his mouth, and gave him a deep, loving kiss. Her tongue tangled with his, and her breasts pushed onto his bare chest.

He groaned. Blood pooled in his groin. His wife was so damn sexy, and what was even better, she was going to be completely his for the next two days.

  All to myself.

He rested backward on the bed, dragging her with him so she lay on top with her legs straddled. He worked on her top, tugging it off.

The lights dimmed, the curtains pulled, then the mattress sagged as Mason joined them.

Lucas cupped her breasts. Her nipples were hard on his palms. He relished her slight weight on him, and her pussy, through her shorts, was over his groin.

“We need these off, hen,” Mason murmured.

She shifted off Lucas, and he missed her instantly.

But then she was getting as naked as Mason, and Lucas realized he had to keep up. Quickly, he shoved at his sweats and boxers, releasing his hard cock.

Mason was laid on the bed, pulling her close, their bodies in alignment and heads on the pillow. Lucas crawled upward, smoothing his hands over her curves then cupping her ass.

  Damn, I love her ass.

“I hope you’re not tired,” Mason whispered.

“No.” She reached for his cock. “Not at all.”

She massaged him from the base to the tip, and his eyes fluttered shut.

Lucas gripped his own cock and kissed the back of her neck. She was so small, doll-like, and her skin reminded him of fresh washed silk. He’d never get enough of her.

After a few minutes, he wound his hand over her shoulder and tugged her onto her back.

She released Mason’s cock, and Lucas placed his own cock in her hand and kissed her.

A moan rumbled from his chest when she fisted it, then rubbed its length in firm, steady strokes.

  “Lucas,” she murmured.

He kissed her, toying with her nipples and enjoying her shortening breaths.

“Open up,” Mason said against her cheek.

Lucas paused kissing her and watched Mason sneak his hand between her now parted thighs. He caressed her for a moment, then entered her with his fingers, the heel of his hand catching on her mound.

“Oh…” she gasped, her back arching.

“We’re going to make you come,” Mason said, his eyes flashing with lust, his body pressing into hers as he pumped gently in and out of her, keeping the contact on her clit.

“Yes.” She bit on her bottom lip and held her breath. Her chest was still.

“Breathe,” Lucas said, slipping his touch to her throat. “Breathe.”

  She sucked in a breath.

  “Mason’s hitting the spot?”

  “Yes…oh, I want.”

“What do you want?” he asked.

  “I want… I want us all…

“You want us all to come together?” It wouldn’t take him long. Lucas’s cock was solid, his balls tingling. Her touch was always a test of his stamina.

“Yes.” She released his cock and turned to him, forcing Mason to remove his hand.

Lucas smiled and hooked beneath her thigh. He pulled her leg over his hip and angled his cock at her entrance.

Mason was tight in behind her, stroking her hair out of the way so he could kiss her neck. He’d cupped her right breast and was tweaking her nipple.

The scent of sex and sweat and arousal swirled between them.

Lucas grasped her ass to hold her steady, then slid into her wetness.

  She groaned and tensed.

He caught the sound in his mouth and carried on driving to full depth.

  So damn good.

He bottomed out, her internal muscles hot and tight around his shaft.

“Lucas,” she gasped, reaching around herself to grip Mason’s ass. “Oh, more.”

“Aye,” he said. “You’ll get more.”

He began to fuck her, knowing it was all going to be perfect, that they’d all come spectacularly.

Her breaths quickened, and she canted her hips to meet his.

Soon Lucas’s climax was within reach, but he didn’t want to release yet. It was too soon.

  “Mason…take over.” He withdrew.

  Olivia mewed a complaint.

But then Mason was there, filling her from behind.

She jutted her breasts against Lucas, and he found her mouth, kissing her as Mason plunged deep.

He harnessed his self-control, beat down the orgasm that had been so near, and waited for his next turn.

  “Oh…oh… I’m…” She gasped.

Lucas slipped to her clit and rubbed it with the pads of his fingers.

She cried out, bucked for more, then came.

He kissed her to dampen the noise.

Mason came, too, his body butting hard into hers and in turn jostling Lucas.

But he was quick to withdraw, and then Lucas slipped his cock into his wife, moved his fingers from her clit, and replaced them with his hard body.

“Keep coming,” he said onto her lips. “Keep coming…”

  “Oh God… I am.”

She was shaking, her pussy pulsing around his cock.

He drove to full depth, withdrew, then thrust in again.

She moaned, and her eyes rolled back. Her orgasm was extending, pushing into a G-spot climax as well as clitoral.

And she was glorious in every moment of it.

Lucas couldn’t hold off. He didn’t want to. He steamed in and out, clutching her to him, and came long and hard.

His cock throbbed, and he had to bite his lip to stop from shouting out his pleasure. So damn good. His balls ached with the strength of his release, and his entire body had turned to granite.

“Lucas…oh…. Lucas…” She twisted her head.

Mason caught her chin and kissed her.

Lucas closed his eyes. The last spurt of cum left him. The intensity was dizzying, every sense filled.

He remained at full depth with her pussy spasming around his dick. It was always good when the three of them got together. Not least because she’d confessed years ago it was a fantasy of hers—now it was a fantasy that was realized as often as they could make it happen.

“Oh, that was wild,” she said, breaking her kiss with Mason.

Mason dropped backward, his head landing on the pillow.

Lucas withdrew and did the same, the sheets cool on his hot back. He reached for Olivia’s hand and drew it to his chest. His heart was thudding and his chest rising and falling rapidly.

No wonder they were all so protective of what they had.

  It was pretty damn special.

  Chapter Eighteen

Lucas showered then pulled on jeans and brown leather chaps. He added a long-sleeved shirt—the red checked pattern faded from the sun—and slathered some factor fifty on his hands and face.

It was going to be a long, hot day riding, but he wasn’t complaining, because for this trip out to the west side of the station, Olivia was accompanying him. She didn’t do it very often because there was always something going on with the kids, but this weekend, it seemed his luck was in.

He added a wide-brimmed hat, pocketed a sachet of lube, hopeful for fun in the outback, then wandered down the staircase.

Giggles poured from the kitchen, a sure sign it was the weekend and no one in a rush to get out of the door to school or to tend horses.

He stepped in, needing a cup of tea.

Raul, Cameron, and Isabel all wore matching aprons from Regalo der Mar, and the central island was a chaos of ingredients. The air was sweet and sugary, and Lucas’s mouth watered.

“What are you doing?” Lucas asked.

“We’re making cinnamon buttermilk pancakes, with a blueberry reduction topped with baby strawberries and icing sugar,” Cameron said, then looked at Raul. “Is that right?”

“Si, young man, that is right.” Raul grinned as he handed Isabel an egg. “And a mango lassi to go with it.” He nodded at Isobel. “What is in that?”

“Mango, yogurt, cardamomom.” She twisted her mouth in concentration.

  “Cardamom,” Raul corrected.

  “Yes, cardamom and lime and…”

  “Honey,” Cameron added.

“Si, well done.” Raul swiped his palms together, sending a plume of flour dancing upward.

“It sounds delicious,” Lucas said, flicking on the kettle.

“It will be good breakfast before you and Olivia go out riding for the day, and the twins have friends coming over to swim.”

“That sounds fun, and thank you, a good breakfast is what we need.”

Raul gestured to the fridge. “And in there is lunch and dinner for you to take because you don’t want to…” He paused and stared meaningfully at the children.

“You don’t want to have to eat snake,” they sang.

Lucas chuckled. It was a well-told story about how they’d resorted to snake for dinner when stranded on Elysium all those years ago.

“Wow, this smells good,” Olivia said, strolling in wearing a similar outfit to Lucas, though her shirt was short-sleeved and newer. With a brown leather akubra hat shading her face, she was every inch the sexy cowgirl.

“Aye.” Mason grinned, following in behind her. “And I’m starving.”

“Won’t be long. Whisk that batter some more, Cameron,” Raul said.

Lucas kissed Olivia’s cheek, the brim of her hat nudging his. “I’ll go and get the horses ready while this is cooking.”

“Amal is out there already,” Isabel said. “I saw him.”

“Ah, he’s a good boy.” Lucas smiled. “He’ll have got the horses in from the paddock for me.”

“Am I a good boy, Daddy?” Cameron stared up at him, his eyes wide.

Lucas smiled and ruffled his hair. “Very good, and even better for making me pancakes.”

Cameron grinned and resumed his vigorous whisking.

Three hours later, and several miles covered on horseback, the pancakes were a distant memory. The sun beat down relentlessly—though Lucas was used to that now—and the sand stuck to his skin.

But none of that mattered, not when Olivia was at his side.

  “You okay, hen?” he asked.

“Yes, getting ready to stretch my legs and have a rest.”

He frowned her way. She didn’t usually suggest a rest. “You feeling okay?”

“A little tired.” She paused and grinned. “I was kept awake late into the night by sexy twins who wouldn’t leave me alone.”

  “Then you’re a lucky woman.”

  She laughed. “That’s true.”

He grinned but continued to study her. Despite the heat, her cheeks were pale. “We’ll stop under these trees. The sheep are taking their time, there’s no rush.”

“Good plan, and there’s some water
for the horses.”

They drew into the shade and pulled the horses to a halt. The sheep milled around them, walking slowly, grazing, and then huddling down to the creek.

Olivia dismounted and released one of her saddlebags. She scuffed the earth by a trunk, checking for critters, then sat cross-legged and removed her hat.

Lucas took her horse’s reins and led him to the creek.

Both horses took their fill as the sheep bleated and jostled. Lucas looked out into the distance. Nothing but land—their land. It was beautiful in a harsh, wild, red way. He adored it and understood why Evan had become obsessed with surviving out here. It was such a test of the soul as well as the body. One mistake, and things went wrong quickly. Three days without water, and it would all be over. An encounter with a deadly insect or snake, and minutes were numbered.

So it was strange that he’d fallen in love with it, and was at home here as he was out on the ocean, or in the mountains of Scotland. But home it was, and the station was the base for everything else that was dear to him.

The horses finished drinking, and he led them back to the shade, looping their reins over a branch. They’d rest their heads and doze while the sun was this high; it would do them good.

Olivia wiped the back of her hand over her mouth and held out a bottle of water that was still chilled.

“Thanks.” He took it and drank deep. The cool liquid was heavenly.

“You going to sit?” she asked.

“Aye.” He checked the earth around a small boulder then perched on it. His back ached a little, and his hands were stiff from holding the reins. It was amazing to think that five years ago he’d barely sat on a horse. Now it was second nature.

“Amal is excited about the new colt,” Olivia said, running her hand over her hair.

“He should be, it’s of fine stock. If he’s serious about breaking a horse in and getting to some ranch shows, this is the one.”

“And how do you feel about it?”

He smiled. “I’ve broken a few in now, with and without Evan’s help. I’m only worried about Amal getting frustrated. These things can’t be rushed.”

  “He’s got patience.”

“That’s true.” He stood and reached for the lunch bag Raul had made them. “You hungry?”

  “A bit.”

He raised his eyebrows. “You should be starving, Olivia. It’s hours since we had pancakes.”
