I surprised Jaycee with a trip to Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest. Munich is vastly known for their Oktoberfest traditions since the early 1810. People from all over the world celebrate this tradition by joining together dining on Bavarian food, drinking a variety of homemade beer, and music to kick off the festivities.
I add the last of our clothing into the suitcase. “Do you have your passport and ID,” I ask Jaycee. “Don’t forget to include our itinerary.”
“I have it all in my purse,” she replies. “My head feels like it’s swirling. I can’t believe I’m doing this! I can’t believe I’m going to Europe. This is a dream vacation for a small, country girl like me; not one I ever dreamt I’d get to experience. I’m so grateful to have met you.”
I seal the luggage with the zipper and saunter over to her. I run my fingers through her hair and push some behind her ears. I gently grab her chin and tilt her head upwards to me.
“You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met. I’m not just talking about to your outer beauty but who you are inside. I’m happy I’ve met you too and that you gave me a chance.”
I take both hands and place them on each side of her head, bend down and kiss her. I start slow, waiting for her to return my kiss and then I start kissing her more feverishly. I don’t stop until I nearly lose all my breath. I release my hold on her and step back.
“Now that we’re done packing, we need to get ready and head over to the restaurant to meet your parents and Jimmy. What time does he leave for Parris Island?” I ask.
Jaycee turns around after setting the luggage against the wall. “He needs to be at the airport at 0500 tomorrow. I’ll freshen up and then I’ll be ready to go.”
As we make the short drive to local Italian restaurant, I can’t help but think of where I am in life at this moment. A year ago, I was overseas trying to locate the Kuwait leader and now I’m holding the girl of my dreams. The irony is not lost on me, on how quickly life can change, especially the moment you feel comfortable.
I can see the movement from Jaycee before my upper thigh feels the pressure of her hand. “I love you, Jaxon.” She confides, with a soft spoken voice.
The confession welcomed, but a complete surprise. “I love you too, Jayce.”
A few minutes pass in silence, then I park the car in front of the restaurant. I exit the car and walk over to open the door for Jaycee. “You ready,” I ask, as I extend my hand to help her out.
“Yes, sir,” she playfully countered.
As she gained her composure standing, she reaches upward on her tiptoes and kisses me on my cheek. I’ll never grow tired of the unspoken subtleties when she expresses her love for me.
“Callhoun party.” I announce to the waitress.
“Everyone is waiting on your arrival,” the waitress responds. “Please follow me.”
Her parents and brother greet us warmly. “Jimmy, good to see again. Kay and Glenn pleasure as always.” I say to them as I pull out a chair for Jaycee and then sit down next to her.
“You know I wasn’t nervous until you arrived,” Jimmy admitted with a shaky voice. “Don’t get me wrong, I still feel like this is something I need to do, I’m more anxious of what to expect, of the unknown.”
“You expect nothing man,” I explain. “Your decisions for the next few weeks, months even, will not be yours. Boot camp is not a cake walk and definitely not an easy feat. Your mind needs to be strong, always prepare for the unexpected, and be vigilant of your surroundings. You will be conditioned, your outer shell will be broken, and the yolk that lives within you will change colors. I promise you’ll find yourself brother. It’s an exhilarating moment in mans’ life going in as a boy and coming out a man. A man with a purpose.”
“Words spoken from a true leader,” Glenn boasts.
For the next hour we dine, and share stories that strengthen the bond within this family. The Callhouns have accepted me as their own and in return, I find them to be the most remarkable people. Glenn is an information technologist software engineer for the local university. He creates programs and monitors the University’s network security. I suspect he knows more than he lets on, but that’s just one of my suspicions. He makes pretty decent money which is enough to support his family and not want for anything. Kay is an administrative assistant for the local animal hospital. Glenn’s employment tenure affords Kay the opportunity to work wherever she desired. My hope is that Jaycee and I will share a similar future. I’m already handsomely wealthy, but that truth doesn’t need to be disclosed at this time. I will share that information when I feel it’s necessary. I acquired my wealth through the trust fund resulting from my parents passing, the proceeds of selling my childhood homestead, and of course, nearly every cent the government pays me for my secret services.
“I have a few things I want to say to all of you while I have the courage to do it,” Jimmy stands and addresses us, starting with his parents.
“Mom and Dad, I know I can’t say this enough, but you are awesome parents. Your positivity and beliefs are traits that I hope to distill in my own life. You never abused me or Jaycee but you whipped and molded us into who we are today. I am proud to be your son. Thank you for the small lessons you taught throughout my life and your unyielding support for all of my major decisions. Dad, I hope to become half the man you are and Mom, I hope to find a woman just like you. Knowing that I have your support, solidifies that I’m making the right decision.”
“Oh, Jimmy you are going to make me cry again,” His mother says, while holding back tears.
“And to my obnoxious little sister.” Jimmy teases, turning towards Jaycee. “I hope you find your niche in life. I agree that college is not the best place for you, but I still believe you’ll do great things. I will always have your back no matter where you are or who you’re with. My promise to you, Jaycee, is that I will always love you. I will always support you, even from a distance. If you ever find yourself in trouble, please know that I will be there to help you with no questions asked.”
Jaycee started dabbing her eyes with a napkin trying to stop her own tears from forming.
“I love you too Jimmy,” She responds. “You will always be one of the first calls I make.”
Jimmy then looks at me and his smile disappears and his demeanor toughens. “Jaxon, I’ve only known you for a short time but you already feel like a brother to me,” Jimmy explains. “Please watch over my family while I’m gone. Love and protect them from any harm. Please take good care of my sister. I’m happy that she’s found someone like you. It makes leaving a little easier knowing I don’t have to threaten anybody,” Jimmy laughs.
“Already done, man.” I stand, extend my hand and quickly bring him in for a man hug. “I’ve never had a brother but if I did, I would want him to be like you.”
Still standing, I clear my throat, “I also have something that I want to say since we are clearing the air. When my parents passed away, I was in a dark place for quite a while. I longed for the companionship that they shared, the same companionship that I see between you, Kay and Glenn. Thank you for welcoming me into your home, to your hearts. I want you to know that I love Jaycee and that I will always put her wants and needs before my own.” I simply state.
Kay raises her wine glass, “Cheers to love, family and happiness.”
Back at the apartment, I offer Jaycee a glass of Moscato knowing she was unable to share a glass of wine at dinner. I join her in the living room with wine in hand.
Jaycee reaches for the glass and begins, “There is something that I want to say to you,” she says as she takes a long sip of wine. “I know that my life’s experiences doesn’t hold a candle to yours but I feel like I’m not good enough for you. At times, I feel that I will never amount to what you need or desire. It bothers me that I feel this way because I’m not accustom to this level of insecurity. Perhaps it started when the stranger chased and frightened me, or the cat and mouse game that my ex-boyfriends played with me, which always ended
in my rejection. I’m conflicted because I want you Jaxon, all of you, in every way imaginable, but I’m too scared to make the move. I’m terrified that if I give myself to you that you will reject me too.” She takes another sip of wine and places the glass down.
I reach my arm over her shoulder, “I can’t change your past or how others treated you.” I softly assure her. “The only thing that I can change is your future. I love you, Jaycee. I want to be with you now, and always. I meant every word I said at the restaurant tonight. I envision us having a great life together, a life that you witnessed growing up as a child, a life I also witnessed growing up as a child. Our age difference is just that…a difference, not one which defines who we are but unites us. I would rather us be dynamically different, than the same. It would be pretty dull if we were the same, don’t you agree? I enjoy a heathy argument over who is right and who is wrong. I welcome the difference of opinions. I know it’s hard to believe, but I’m not always right.”
I wink at her, while I reach into my pocket with my other hand and feel for her ring. I had asked Glenn for his permission earlier in the week, I was going to wait until we were on our European trip before I officially proposed, but the moment feels right now.
I slip down onto the floor on one knee. “Oh, my god. What are you doing,” Jaycee asks, sounding perplexed.
I place the ring in front of me, “I know that I haven’t known you very long, but what I do know about you is that I want more. I want all of you, Jaycee, everything you can give me. I want to be your protector, your lover, your friend, and most importantly your husband. I promise you will never want for anything in your life. I will always provide for you. I will support you. I know I’m not easy to live with, I can be demanding, controlling, and speak my mind, but that is part of who I am. I will get called away for work from time to time, but know that I will always come back to you. The sky holds no limit for us, Jaycee. Together, we can conquer anything and I want us to conquer the world. Marry me.”
“Yes! Yes! I will marry you,” Jaycee squeals with excitement.
The smile on my face grows and I shake my head from side to side. “That’s funny Jaycee, because I didn’t ask you,” I say, as I place the ring on her finger. “You don’t have a choice.”
Jaycee
I am flooded with a thousand emotions coursing through me. My engagement ring is absolutely stunning; a white gold, princess cut diamond with smaller diamonds cascading to each side. I had absolutely no idea he was even considering a marriage proposal. We never even discussed marriage.
“I don’t have a choice,” I manage to respond to him. I sigh as I compose myself. “I certainly do have a choice. I can easily say no. You realize you can’t marry an unwilling bride.”
“To the contrary, you can marry an unwilling person, all you need is an officiant who is willing to overlook the minor details,” Jaxon informs me, as he stands. “After tonight, if you tell me no, I will honor it, but it will be the one and only time I will honor your ‘no’, because I don’t believe in divorce. You just agreed to always be mine.”
I grab him by the shirt and pull him towards me. “Kiss me Jaxon. I want you, I need you. Take me and show me what it’s like to be yours.”
Jaxon stoops down, picks me up and carries me to the bedroom. He places me on my feet at the foot of the bed and gently places a kiss on my forehead.
“From this moment on, I am marking you as mine,” he breathes. “I may not have been your first, but I assure you that I am the last.”
He leans down and kisses my neck. He suckles in the same spot then moves to another before he moves the other side. His hands roam over my body, starting from my back and moving lower until he grabs both buttocks. He gently pulls my dress up over my head and tosses it to the floor. He steps back and gazes at me, at my body.
“You are gorgeous,” he whispers. He reaches around and unclasps my bra and it drops to the floor below. He tenderly blows on my nipple while he grabs the sides of my panties and slips them down over my hips, creating a small pile of garments at my feet. He steps back again and looks me in the eye.
“You are everything I dreamed of,” his voice is hot, and controlled. “I want this night to be special for you.”
I reach over and grab the hem of his shirt, “Now it’s my turn,” I pant as I remove his shirt. I reach down, remove his belt and begin removing his jeans. I step in closer to him and mirror his actions. I start placing soft, sensual kisses on his neck and slowly move to his chest. My hands grab the elastic waistband of his boxers and slide them down, to pool at his feet.
I look up at him and our eyes instantly connect and in that second I suddenly feel anxious. “I’m afraid that I may lack the experience. I’ve never experienced an orgasm before. What if I don’t please you?” I ask, as I’m not sure I want to continue, yet I don’t want him to stop.
He guides me to the end of bed and motions for me to sit. He glides over to his top dresser drawer and removes a tie.
“Sex can be many things between many people,” He softly explains to me. “Sex is most meaningful when two people have mutual feelings and affection for each other creating intimacy. The physical act of sex is the same, regardless of whether it’s with a stranger or with a spouse. The positions are the same, the movements and sounds are the same. What makes sex so intimate and unique is the powerful connection between the lovers. Love plays a vital role in intimate sex. There is nothing that you could do that would not please me because I love you, Jaycee, from the depth of my heart. Don’t see this as sex between us, but rather a way of expressing our love and commitment to each other. This is our way of making love. I promise you will find immense pleasure.”
“Make love to me, now, Jaxon.” I whisper. “I don’t think I can wait any longer.”
“I want you to do something for me.” He softly invites. “I want to slip this tie over your eyes, not to take away from this special moment, but to enhance your senses. I want you to feel me, to feel my love for you. I’ll take it off any time you ask me to.”
“I trust you, Jaxon.” The moment I release those words from my mouth he wraps the tie around my eyes and my world becomes dark. I can feel him even though he’s no longer touching me. I can smell his cologne bit of jasmine and cedar wafting from his pores.
“Good girl. Now move back a little further on the bed.”
I do as he commands.
“Perfect,” he breathes.
I feel the bed dip near my feet. I jump the moment I feel his hands touch my ankles. “Relax, it’s only me,” he says reassuringly.
He places soft kisses at my ankles and slowly works his way up my legs. He reaches the apex of my thighs and inhales a deep breath.
“I can smell your perfume mixed with your arousal. It’s a beautiful scent on you,” he starts kissing me again working his way to my inner core. He taunts me with blowing small channels of air, followed by a deep, ravaging kiss. The sensation is overwhelming and soft moans fall from my lips. I find myself joining in the music of what is us. I move my hips in rhythm, as his kisses get deeper and more sensual. My senses are overloaded and I succumb to his taunts and experience the first orgasm of my life. I can feel his smile pressed against my core.
He starts his mission upward and presses kisses onto my belly until he reaches my breasts. He takes one of my nipples and gently bites, licks, and suckles until he moves to the next nipple. I subconsciously arch my back to give him more, to offer him more of me. And he takes it. He devours me.
He captures my lips and kisses me deeply. He moves his tongue violently with mine creating our own band of music. His hand finds my core and continues to bring me to the brink of pleasure before he pulls away and replaces it with his large, bulbous tip.
“I’m not sure I can go slow, Jaycee,” his voice is deep and commanding. “I need inside of you now.”
“Don’t stop Jaxon, I’m yours. Take me.” I breathlessly expel from my lips.
&n
bsp; Before I could take my next breath, he thrusts into me in one quick movement. I let out a painful cry from the sudden intrusion and stretching to accommodate his large size.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers as he holds still and kisses my neck.
“Please keep going. I don’t want you to stop,” I wrap my legs around his waist and hold on.
He sets the tempo and I, as a string player, follow along. He penetrates me deeply over and over, only to pull out and thrust back in. He takes my leg and lifts it slightly over his hip penetrating deeper into me.
“You are wonderful, babe,” his voice hypnotizing, deep, still controlled. “This moment is so perfect. I’m going to remove the tie now. I want to watch you as you unravel for me.”
I open my eyes and meet his electrifying gaze. He starts kissing me while taking me to heights that I’ve never experienced before. I can feel another orgasm building. It starts in the center of my abdomen and sends magical currents to my core. “Please go deeper Jaxon, I’m going to….”
“Look at me, I want to watch you.” His command is gentle and strong. “Tell me who do you belong to?”
“Oh, my…you.. I belong to you..Awe…”
“And I belong to you, Jaycee.” He whispers.
He stills inside me for a few moments after we reach our finale and he continues to kiss me. That was the best sex I’ve ever had in my entire life. His words couldn’t have been any truer. Intimacy does make a difference when sex is with someone who is your equal and shares your affection.
“I love you Jaxon,” I whisper the thought, screaming wildly in my mind.
As we lay in silence after making love, it occurs to me that we didn’t have the conversation that we should have. Is he not concerned that I could become pregnant or have any diseases?
“Why didn’t you ask me if I wanted you to wear protection or if I’m taking preventative measures to reduce the risk of pregnancy?” I ask.
