I slip her panties off and down her luscious legs then bend and place a kiss on her knee, her ankle and travel back up her body until I reach the apex of her legs. I slide one finger inside her, then two. She’s wet and ready, and her scent drowns out my senses as my tongue circles over her clit and I draw the little nub into my mouth to suck on it lightly. Gianna writhes on the table and clutches onto my hair.

“Oh my god,” she cries out as her scent explodes around me.

Raising from between her legs, I grip her ass and slide her closer to the edge of the table. I gaze at her for a moment before I thrust, and drive my shaft to the hilt within her silken folds. An O forms on Gianna’s pretty lips and I lean down to capture them with my own. My tongue clashes with hers in a wild tangle of lips and tongue as I continue to plunge in and out of her wet pussy. I can feel my climax building, so I move my fingers to Gianna’s swollen clit and lazily circle it over and over as I take her in long, deep strokes. She moves with me, matching me stroke for stroke.

Her moans are loud within the shop and I capture them with my lips and tongue. “Come for me, baby,” I whisper gruffly against her lips. I want to feel her clinching around me as I climax.

“Kaden, oh my God, yes, yes.”

My balls clinch and I follow into the abyss. My release is like none I’ve ever experienced, and it nearly drops me to my knees, but Gianna’s legs still wrapped around my waist keep me upright.

She pushes up on an elbow and looks up at me with her sparkling green eyes. I see what I’ve been hoping for when my gaze meets hers. There’s love shinning out of the deep Emerald pools, and I know she sees the same emotion in my eyes when she smiles softly and brushes the hair out of my face.

“That was amazing,” she whispers and collapses on the table.

My lips trail up her body until I reach her lips. I nibble them for a second, before I whisper against them. “Being with you, in anyway, is amazing. Amazing sex is just a bonus.”

She giggles as I tickle her stomach.

“Turnabout is fair play,” she says as she tries her best to plant me on the table, and I let her.

Once I’m down, she tackles me with kisses and tickles. It doesn’t last long before she kisses up my abs and over each nipple. Sucking one into her mouth, she bites down and my cock goes from limp to rock hard in a flat second, and I’m ready for her. She pushes her ass against my rigid shaft, and I have to fight myself not to throw her back on the table and bury myself deep inside her. I wait patiently as she nips my neck and shoulder she drives me fucking insane. My hands grip her ass and I rock her against my hard length.

“Quit being so impatient, Mr. St. Claire,” she giggles.

As her lips trail back down my body, she flicks out her tongue and licks as she goes. When she reaches my hard length, she licks and sucks on the head, drawing it in and out of her mouth, while her hand strokes up and down. I’m going to explode as I watch her pretty pink lips dive up and down over my cock. She reaches down and starts to squeeze and massage my balls as her lips continue to suck and lick, playing with the head with her tongue.

“Damn, baby, I’m going to come,” I grate out and she smiles around my dick.

She doesn’t back off as I assumed she would, but continues licking and sucking. When I explode, shouting her name, she closes her lips around me and swallows every drop.

She raises her head and licks her lips before strutting to where the clothes were thrown and starts to dress.

Leaning on an elbow I look at her and smile. “Where are you going?”

“Shower. Then to the cabin to collect my stuff. Are you coming big boy?”

“Hell yeah,” I reply and jump off the table and pull on my discarded clothes.

Before she can escape Wooden It Be Nice, I grab her and pull her around for one more kiss.

She wraps her arms around my neck, and I wrap my arms around her waist. My lips fall to hers. I slowly lick her bottom lip and suck it between my lips. I let it go, but dive back in running my hands through her hair then down over her soft curves.

She pulls away and looks up at me. She winks then turns and flees the shop. I’m hot on her heels and when she slides into the shower moments later, I join her. I wash her back and she makes me turn around so she can wash mine.

“Kaden, what are these?” She asks as she runs her fingertips along the scars on my back.

“I told you I was in the Navy. I was a SEAL, and went on a lot of dangerous missions. My last mission took me deep into Afghanistan. We were waylaid into a trap and they pinned us down in a ditch for three days. Three days is a long time without food and water. The guys with me were getting desperate. They were talking about crawling out and finding a place to get water. We drew straws, or weeds because it’s all we had, and I was the guy left with the short straw. Even though I thought it was a bad idea, I crawled out and got within a few feet of escape.”

I inhale deeply before continuing my story. “They gunned me down and left me lying there. I thought I was dying, and I guess they did too because they left me. Shortly after, I shifted and healed faster than anyone would have thought possible back then and ran out of there. I found water and food, and brought help for the men left in the ditch, but before we got there they’d all been gunned down. They lay dead where I’d left them. I’ll forever carry that guilt within my heart and forever see their dead bodies just lying there.”

Gianna cradles me in her arms, but after a couple minutes pass she draws back and lifts my chin up.

“Listen to me, you did all you could for those men, just like you do for everyone else. Look at all you’ve done for me. You saved me, twice, you gave me hope, and you gave me your heart. You are an amazing person and I love you Kaden St. Claire.”

I bury my face within her mass of dark hair and inhale her apples and cinnamon scent.

“And I love you Gianna Jones, forever and always.”

  Gianna

Kaden and I finish our shower, then dress in silence. The sensual lover from earlier today is gone, and the brooding wolf has taken his place. His revelation makes me realize just how mortal this immortal being is, and I know, then and there, that I want to spend the rest of forever with him.

As he drives us to my cabin, I watch the different expressions cross his face, and I wonder what he’s thinking.

Giving into my curiosity, I reach out and lay my hand on his leg. “Kaden, what are you thinking?”

“Us completing the mating bond,” he answers honestly, and I gasp a little.

  “And what does that involve?”

“I have to bite you, Gianna,” he answers, and I recoil from him. “I would never do it without your consent, and never until you’re completely ready.”

“You have to bite me?” I ask on a whisper, trying to make sure I heard him correctly.

“Yes,” he answers, not looking away from the road as he turns down the drive leading to the cabin. When he stops his truck beside the truck I’d borrowed from Issac, he finally looks at me. “I will never hurt you, Gianna.”

“I know,” I whisper and lay my hand on his leg once more as my other hand rubs the wound Owen inflicted on my leg. His bite had been excruciating, but he wanted to hurt me where Kaden did not. “But biting me will hurt.”

“For a moment,” he answered honestly again, and I flinched a little, but didn’t move my hand from his leg.

Unlike Owen, I know Kaden loves me, and I love him. Sighing, I look up at him and smile softly.

“I want to do it,” I say and his head snaps toward me.

“Are you sure?” He asks, but I can hear how happy my words made him.

“Yes,” I answer, hiding the nervousness I’m feeling.

  “When?”

“When we get back home,” I tell him and his wolf growls deep in his chest at my words. “I want to go by and check on my car before we go back though.”

“Whatever you want,” he responds, and I smile.

&n
bsp; “You, Kaden,” I tell him and squeeze his knee. “All I really want is you.”

“And you have me,” he answers as he pulls me across the seat and holds me against his side.

“Let’s go get my things, then head back and check on my car,” I say, but he shakes his head and lowers his mouth to mine. The kiss is gentle, but I can feel the need within him. His wolf wouldn’t let him go too much longer without claiming me, no matter what the man had said.

When he pulled away and gently nipped my bottom lip, I purred like a kitten, and he chuckled.

“Let’s get your things, then check on your car,” he says, and I nod.

He opens his door and we both slide out of his side of the truck, and walk hand in hand into the cabin I’d nearly died in.

Gasping, I look around at the destruction Owen and Kaden’s fight had caused. “I’m never going to be able to afford the repairs on this place.”

“You won’t have to,” Kaden tells me as he pulls me into the bedroom. “I will fix everything. It was my fight that caused it, after all.”

“Your fight with my ex,” I remind him, and he grunts.

“Still, my fight,” he responds as he pulls my suitcases from where I’d stashed them and started throwing things inside.

Shaking my head, I quickly help him, and within fifteen minutes we have all my things packed. Before we head out, I pack up the supplies in the kitchen, and we’re ready to go.

I follow Kaden in Issac’s truck, and a few minutes later we pull into the garage, and I see my baby sitting in the bay with the hood up.

“Hello, Mr. Kincaid,” I call out as soon as I get out of the truck.

He pokes his head out from under the hood and nods before disappearing again.

“Parts came in this morning,” he says when I stop beside the car. “Should be fixed in a coupla days.”

“Call my place when it’s ready, and I will bring her to pick it up,” Kaden spoke up and Issac poked his head out from under the hood again. “She’s staying with me now.”

The mechanic nodded, and ducked back under the hood. “Will do.”

“Thank you, Mr. Kincaid,” I say and look at Kaden, who just shakes his head. “I’ve brought your truck back.”

“Just leave the keys in the ignition,” he grunts, and I frown. He’s less talkative today then he was when I’d first met him.

“Okay, and thank you again,” I say, and he nods, but doesn’t say anything else.

I look at my car one more time then shrug and walk back to Kaden’s truck.

“Let’s get home,” he says, and I can feel the excitement coming off him.

  “Yes, let’s get home.”

  Epilogue

  Kaden

I lose myself in Gianna’s body as I push my wolf aside for a little while longer.

Patience, buddy, I tell him in my head, and I hear him growl.

“Oh, God,” Gianna cries out as I slide out and plunge back inside her. I want her sated, and relaxed before I claim her.

As her climax peeks, I let my wolf out. He strikes without hesitation. When her blood fills his mouth, a growl rumbles in his chest.

Mine, his wolf says gleefully, as Kaden thrusts deep, spilling his seed inside her.

“Kaden,” she says softly as I pull my fangs from her neck and will my wolf back inside.

“Gianna,” I breath against her neck then lick the little droplets of blood from the bite mark. As I gaze at my mark on her, I grow hard again and start moving inside her. “Fuck, I can’t get enough of you.”

“I love you,” she breaths out.

“And I love you,” I respond, then start thrusting vigorously.

  Gianna

I touch the marks on my neck as I gaze in the mirror and a smile forms on my face. Feeling Kaden’s bite, and seeing his mark on my neck, made things stir inside me. I couldn’t get enough of my sexy wolf.

“You okay, baby?” He asks from the other side of the bathroom door.

“I’m more than okay,” I answer and turn from the mirror to open the door. When my eyes land on him, my smile grows. “I’m home.”

“As am I,” he responds and pulls me into his arms. When his lips press against his mark on my neck, he sniffs deeply, and his wolf growls in his chest, and I remember the first time I saw him. He was a strange enigma to me then, but now, he was exactly what I never knew I wanted.

  About the Author

Cora A Murray is a pen name I devised from the love of two great women, my mother and my oldest sister, who may no longer be with us, but will reside in my heart forever.

I'm a mother of two adult sons and the grandmother of a handsome grandson and two beautiful granddaughters. I have been married for the past thirty-six years to the same wonderful man. I've always been an avid reader and with a push from my best friend I decided to start writing. First came shifters, then zombies, and now I'm on to many different topics. Who knows what's next, I have so many worlds left to conquer.

He just needed a night of fun; she just needed out of her current life. It turns out, they needed each other.

Deacon McKay has returned to Dark Moon Falls after serving his country for the past ten years, ready to put the nightmare of being overseas behind him and just enjoy the moment. He's had enough of protecting people, of being put in danger for causes he sometimes doesn't understand.

Purity Atwood feels trapped in a life she no longer desires, working at a club and for a man who sucks the life out of her. She's tried to leave, but that wound her up in the hospital. How much more can she take before life just isn't worth living? Perhaps tonight is the last straw.

As her boyfriend raises his hand to strike Purity one more time, she braces for the inevitable. However, it never arrives. Glancing up, she sees another hand reaching out to her instead. Is he a new menace or perhaps her savior?

  Chapter One

Deacon drew back the string of his bow, one eye closed as he stared down the shaft, his arm muscles barely feeling the pull of the bow as he calmed his breathing. The small gray rabbit had no idea it was about to be tonight’s dinner. Holding his breath, Deacon released the arrow, the shaft whistling through the air as it split the quietness of the forest on Dark Moon Mountain, silently entering the rabbit and bringing the trip to a satisfying conclusion. Deacon held the pose until the arrow found its target and only then did he release the breath he held and lowered his arms. With a smirk, he glanced over at Morgan and Logan who stood behind him, Logan chuckling as he shook his head. Morgan just stood there with his mouth open.

Logan laughed harder as he pointed to the dead rabbit. “I think you have a kill to retrieve,” he said, his thick shoulders bouncing slightly with his laughter.

Morgan closed his mouth, hands on his hips, and shook his head. “I am not shifting and fetching his kill like some damn hunting dog,” he spat. “Nope. I don’t care what we bet. I’m not doing it. It’s damn humiliating.”

“Which part?” Logan asked, still laughing. “That he killed four rabbits to your two, or that you lost the bet and now have to be his hunting dog?”

Morgan ran a hand through his dark hair as he blew out a breath. “Both.”

Deacon stood, grinning from ear-to-ear, his bow down at his side. “If you can’t afford to pay
your debts, you shouldn’t bet in the first place,” he said, a smirk twisting the corner of his mouth. “Now, fetch.”

“Fucker,” Morgan snarled as he moved toward the latest kill, his body shifting into his ash-gray wolf, bones popping as legs and arms, feet and hands, stretched and bent, fur sliding out replacing his clothes that magically vanished and would reappear when he shifted back. Within seconds, Morgan Holstead’s wolf sprinted across the leaf-strewn forest floor to fetch the other man’s kill.

Deacon shook his head as he chuckled. “This never gets old,” he said to Logan as they both watched the wolf make short work of the distance between them and the rabbit.

Logan nodded, chuckling as well. “No, it doesn’t, especially when it’s Morgan doing the fetching.”

I can hear you both, you know, Morgan sent through the mindspeech of the wolf.

“Oh, we know,” Deacon shouted after the wolf. “And don’t get your teeth marks all over my rabbit, or you’ll be skinning it, too.” He shook his head. “God, I’ve missed this while I was away.”

Logan glanced over at him. “Sticking around for a while?” he asked, and Deacon couldn’t tell if the man was hopeful or troubled. He couldn’t really blame Logan for being hesitant about Deacon putting down roots in Dark Moon Falls again, returning home so to speak. He hadn’t necessarily left in the best frame of mind.

Deacon ran his hand through his short dark hair, his lips pressed into a thin line. The question Logan asked was the same one Elias asked when Deacon presented himself to him, letting the alpha of the Dark Moon Falls Pack know he was back in town. Deacon told Logan the same thing he told Elias. “To be honest, I have no immediate plans. I’m out of the Army after ten years.” He glanced over at Logan, smiling. “I’m kind of looking forward to doing things on my own terms for a while, you know?” He shrugged. “I’m taking it one day at a time.”
