The Bad Girl and the Good Boy

When Zavier left the room to greet his mother, I decided to stay back for a little while to not make things seem suspicious. I felt like squealing like some silly schoolgirl who had just talked to her crush and I couldn’t erase the big grin from my face.
I placed my fingers lightly on my lips and chuckled. I still felt his soft, sweet lips on mine. Man, no experience, he said? Well, let me just say this, he was one hell of a fucking good kisser. He got me hungry for more. Even when I heard the door opening, I still wanted to close and lock my bedroom door and pull him back down on the bed so that I could kiss him all over.
I controlled myself and then slipped one of my big shirts on. I stayed in my underwear because I haven’t walked around without pants in a long time, and started walking downstairs to greet Stormy. I noticed Zavier was going up just as I was going down.
He looked up at me and blushed while shyly scratching the back of his neck as I blew him a kiss and winked. He knew we were going to finish later, because I got what I wanted: an amazing French kiss from him. And now he had me wanting more.
“Hey, Stormy,” I greeted Zavier’s mom as I grabbed a cookie from the cookie jar. She looked at me and gave me a smile.
“Oh, Evelyn, you look very happy today. And I’ve got some news for you that will make you even happier.” I raised my eyebrows, waiting for what she was about to say. She seemed a little giddy and I didn’t know whether I should be scared or feel excited. You just never knew with this woman. “Since you seem to be in such great behavior, I mean, you haven’t been expelled, not even suspended! You haven’t been arrested or anything like that either, so you might be going home sooner rather than later.”
Instead of being happy (well, I was, but not as much as I thought I would be), I felt my heart pretty much stop. Wait, did I just hear right? I’m going home early? Was she implying what I thought she was implying?
“See, Bradley’s just an old supervisor, he really doesn’t have anything on you. Well, he does, but he doesn’t have that much power. He doesn’t think you should go home until next year, but I think you should. So I’ve been talking to the police and security there, and they even say Drake and the other guys have been starting to act civil.” I almost snorted at that. Drake, Ian, and Darrel – being civil? Ha! That’s a good one, Stormy.
But then again, I knew they’d be reacting just the same way if they found out I was starting to be ‘good’.
“So what do you think about that?” she asked, making me think deeply about this whole situation. Yes, I didn’t want to be here in the first place. Yes, I wanted to go back home with my buddies and everything. But it didn’t make me as excited as it would’ve made me before. A part of me actually really wanted to stay for the whole year that I was supposed to stay, mostly because of… yes, a sexy nerd boy who I had just made out with a lot.
“I think that’s awesome,” I responded, feeling the lie seep its way up my throat.
“Glad to hear that. Now, weekly therapy session?”
[Hidden Chapter]
Comic-Con
•Zavier•
“Man, do I love Comic Con!” Jesse said as he dug his fist in his pockets and shook with either excitement or coldness. I didn't know, since I felt pretty chilly myself.
I chuckled and checked my phone for the time. 6:57pm.
We were currently waiting in line to get in, and I was just as excited as he was since I loved these things.
Ethan had tagged along with us, wearing his Hulk shirt. Jesse wore a Spider-Man one. And I, of course, wore my Superman long sleeved shirt with red jeans and all white Vans. My Superman cape was hanging at my back, hugging my torso. And as the line kept moving, I readjusted my glasses and turned to look far off in the distance. I found these things awesome, mostly because you saw everyone. Like Sasuke from Naruto and Sebastian from Black Butler, along with a ton of Marvel and DC superheroes.
I was about to turn back around when I saw her.
She looked even more beautiful than usual, if that were slightly possible. A delicate, short dress touched her body and curves a little too tightly. When she got closer, I noticed that the dress had blue from waist down, and red and gold from waist up. The dress was strapless, and she even wore a gold headband with a red star in the middle, along with red knee-high socks and heels.
There was no mistaking it. She had dressed as Wonder Woman.
That little smirk was even playing at her lips and I blushed at the thought of kissing those soft, warm lips just days ago. I scratched the back of my neck and turned to look at the guys, when I noticed their eyes focused on her. I frowned and looked back at the other guys, only to see them staring at her in amazement, too! That's when I realized she would be a huge distraction.
This was just like the Mathletes and Comic Store.
For God’s sake, she cut through the whole line and none of them seemed to care or notice! She just happily made her way toward me and already began to make me nervous by touching my arm in that flirtatious way she was known for.
I wanted to keep looking at her, but then again I didn't want to, because I was just that nervous. Sure, I was more comfortable with her than I was with any other girl, but still. She, and I mean all of her, made my heart go crazy, and my mind go hazy. That angel face of hers was stuck on my mind, glued there so that she could stay for as long as she'd like.
Our relationship was getting rather peculiar yet fun.
Really, just yesterday we were fighting over my mother's chicken casserole. And after we started arguing for a little while, I started making up my own horrible comebacks.
I had said, “You know what, I hope that Chewbaca crawls into your room at night and eats you alive.” So clearly, my threats were about as weak as Jesse’s weight-lifting. But Evelyn knew. She knew just what ticked me off.
So she went along and said, “I hope they get rid of all the Superman comics!” And at that, I threw my spoon at her and stood up from my seat, causing the chair to scrape hard against the hard floor. I told her to take it back, but she didn't listen.
So it was all crazy for us. Now, I had no idea what she was doing at a place like this.
“Evelyn, what are you doing here?” I asked in a hard tone once she got close enough that I could smell the sweet peach and strawberry radiating off her body. She even came to hug me tight and she felt so small and delicate around my arms. She was warm and...
She was winking at the guys staring at her… of course.
Before I could get distracted again though, I told her, “You can't be here like this!”
“Why not?” she asked, trying to act innocent and giving me puppy dog eyes while biting her lip.
My stomach was stupidly fluttering.
“Well, for one, you're…” Freakin' gorgeous! “… you're… dressed like that!”
“We can bring costumes, teddy bear. It's okay.”
“N-no, it's not, it's not okay.” It was not okay at all, she should know this.
“But this is America.”
“No, yes, I know this is America but that doesn't matter, how does that matter in a situation like this!?”
“Look...” she came close and fixed my shirt collar and cape. I stayed completely still. “Honestly, I only dressed up in this because I know you love Superman so I wanted to be your Wonder Woman.”
Well, that was kind of sweet.
Shaking my head at the thought, I hissed at her, “It's showing too much. I'm sure most guys will be staring at you instead of getting things signed and buying stuff…”
“NEXT!” they yelled as I took a look at Evelyn again. Then I grumbled, rolled my eyes, and secured my large hand with her petite one to bring us inside.
I actually almost forgot the guys were with us, but I didn't much care as I walked around with Evelyn's heels clicking at my side. I didn't even know how she could walk around in those.
The guys around us were still, of course, staring at her and I really didn't lik
e it. I wanted to tell myself that it was only because of the distraction she would cause around here, with the people who actually liked the same things I did that I didn’t like. But now, my mind was telling me that wasn’t the case at all. I didn’t want them getting close to Evelyn, and I didn’t even want them looking at her. So I grabbed on tight to her hand as if she were mine, when really, I had no idea what I was doing or why I was doing it. And when I looked to my left, pretending to admire a girl dressed as Maka and a guy dressed as Soul, I noticed how Evelyn was trying to hide her smile.
I even tried to hide how nervous I was by putting my head down, yet still looking around to see what I could find. And there were a lot of things that seemed interesting to me.
“So what's there to do around here?” I heard her ask as she wrapped her arm with mine to interlock them tightly together. I still didn't look at her but I heard her gasping and felt her shaking me a little. “Look at that family over there!”
Once I looked up to see what she was talking about, I saw Batman and Cat Woman together, while their little boy was Robin and their eldest son was the Joker. And they seemed pretty awesome! I wanted to do something like that with the family I would hopefully have later on.
That's when Evelyn turned me around and made it seem like she was looking me over, but mostly at my long sleeve shirt, for I don’t know what reason.
She hummed as she pursed her lips. “This little costume needs something. Superman should be able to show off his damn muscles.”
“I-it's kinda supposed to be like that, plus it's not really a costu—What are you doing!?” I yelled out just as I felt her small hands on my shoulders, tugging on the cloth located there.
“Tearing the sleeves off to make it look sexier. Come on, I'm sure you have more than one Superman shirt in that big closet of yours.” Before I could even stop her, she tore off the long sleeves to expose my muscular arms that kind of showed off some of my veins as well, probably from my nerves.
She threw them off as I shyly looked around, but then she just grabbed my chin and made me turn to look at her.
“Trust me, it looks way better. Don't care what others think either, unless they think you look sexy.” She winked at me and I knew I had blushed. “But I'll make sure these girls know you're mine, teddy bear.”
Those words made my heart lose a beat for a second or two. I felt even more nervous than before, which I didn't really think was possible.
I was... hers?
Hers!
Okay, she didn't mean that and I knew it. No need to keep that in my head. I really needed to stop thinking this way since I knew the actual truth as well as she does.
Shaking my head at the stupid thought, I looked down at my arms and then looked around. What should I do with Evelyn here? I planned to do a lot but I wasn’t sure if she would like them.
Though, she did choose to come here, so I’m guessing she wouldn’t mind it.
At the back, I saw a few celebrities from ongoing and upcoming TV shows in the panels. Maybe we could check them out and see what they had to say. Shows with enough action and original stuff interested me the most. And I was also hoping that they were making more Superman movies and possibly a TV show. Although, if they didn’t keep to the comics, I’d have to strangle someone. Nicely.
“All right, Evel—” I turned to face Evelyn, when I found her to be completely gone. That’s when I started to panic. I turned and turned and turned again, but she was nowhere in sight. I think I spun in circles too much when Jesse came up to me, grabbed my shoulders, and slapped me.
I came back to reality and had calmed down then… or tried to, at least.
“Calm the fuck down already,” he told me, and then another slap of his hand hit me, almost knocking my glasses off. He grabbed them before they fell, and then started lifting his hand up and faked a laugh when I ducked away from him.
“Okay, okay, I’m calm.” I fixed my shirt and slightly pouted at the sight of my ripped sleeves. A few girls passing by were looking at either my arms or my ripped shirt. Oh well, I’m sure it was the shirt. I would be wondering why it’s ripped as well.
“Evelyn’s not out trying to kidnap Dylan O’Brien or have a smoke with Jensen Ackles.”
I breathed in and out and then looked back at the panels. “Are they even here?”
“Well, Dylan is still here and he is…”
“Where’s Evelyn?” I asked and then started to look around again when Ethan came up holding a comic book of what seemed to be X-Men. He pointed over somewhere and that’s when a breath of relief escaped me as I saw Evelyn standing by a bunch of boxes.
She looked confused, grabbing a few comics and skeptically looking at them. Ethan walked off without another word (like he said one in the first place), and that’s when I grabbed Jesse’s elbow and pulled him close enough to hiss in his face.
“Jesse, help me get her out of here!”
He turned to me and then looked Evelyn over. He shrugged one shoulder and bit his lip. “I’m thinking she’s good here.”
My jaw clenched as he continued to look her over. Then I grabbed his elbow tighter and snapped him out of it. I couldn’t keep my own eyes off her, but why did he have to look, too?!
“Jesse, I swear…”
“Will you chill?” He moved my hand away and gestured toward her. I only stared at him with a look that said he’d better help me or I’ll lose it. And honestly, I was already starting to. “What, I think she’s completely fine being here.”
As he said that to me, we both turned to see Evelyn when she called at me. She held up a The Flash comic book. “Hey, Zavier look, the things you and the other nerds read!”
I brought my hand to my face and heard a chuckle coming from Jesse… that’s when I grumbled and walked over to Evelyn.
“Evelyn, are you seriously…” I cut myself off when I saw a bunch of Superman comics in one full box. “No way, they just left these here?” I asked her, my eyes probably glowing with the fact that I might be able to take this many comics home. Even if I pretty much had every edition.
Evelyn smiled at me and nodded.
Then she pointed to the front of the boxes and I saw the big word that everyone loves to hear – FREE.
I looked at her wide-eyed and then grinned. I looked around and saw people just passing by like they’ve been getting free stuff their whole lives and were pretty much used to it by now. “And there’s seriously no one here taking them!?”
“Nope. Well…” she scrunched her nose up in thought. “A few geeks came over but I did that thing where I pretend to flirt and then kick them in the…”
“Okay, got it.” That mental image even hurt me. I wouldn’t even go within 5 feet close to her if I knew she would do that to me.
But she really saved these up for me? I looked over at her and gave her a genuine smile. I really wondered, did she come here for a specific reason? It could be just to come and see how these things went. Maybe she wanted to learn about us nerds. Maybe she wanted to make me happy. Because when I gave her that nice toothy smile, I saw her cheeks color with happiness and her eyes shone bright, too.
“I… thanks, Evelyn.”
She winked at me and came over to throw her arms around me. I really loved feeling her against me like this, in a safe and warm way. It was nice and sweet. When she pulled away, her small hands rested on my naked arms.
“Glad you liked it. Oh, and I uh,” she reached into a bag I barely noticed hanging off her shoulder and took out a paper. I frowned and took it from her hands. “Creators of the Marvel movies signed all of these. I cut in line once the guys saw me. Don’t know why they’re so intrigued by Wonder Woman. She does kick ass though.”
I stopped listening at the sound of Marvel and swore I could scream out in happiness like a little girl. But I definitely wasn’t going to. That would be both weird and embarrassing and girly. So instead, I stuttered. “H-how...did... did you…” But I couldn’t even get any more words out before she
wrapped her arms around my neck again and rubbed her nose with mine before slightly pulling away.
I ignored the blush on my cheeks for once.
“How did I cut the line when I got here, teddy bear?”
Of course. The ol’ strut and cut. I had no idea what that even means, but I’ll use it. Evelyn strutted and cut the line all at the same time. That was just the way she worked her magic.
She was just amazing.
So beautiful and…
I feared that people actually read my thoughts, considering I heard people go ‘aww’ when they saw us.
“Look! Superman and Wonder Woman! Oh, how cute!”
I ducked my head low and felt my blush getting worse, if it were possible. I stared at Evelyn and saw her smirking at me with a wink.
“See, they're staring now. Everyone is!”
I didn’t even want to look, but I knew they were after that random girl squealed it out. No, why did she have to do that? I didn’t want attention like this.
“Then give them something to watch.” I didn't have enough time to react as Evelyn grabbed the back of my head and smashed our lips together. It took me by surprise but as we heard more ‘aww’s, plus some clapping, I gripped her tiny waist with one hand and with my other hand, I cupped her neck and the back of her head.
Kissing her was like an atomic bomb was going off inside of me. That was how intense these sparks were. Sparks…
What I had felt when Joss kissed me. But with Evelyn, it’s like I felt something completely different and I actually didn’t seem to mind it.
I pulled away and looked at her expression. There was something in her eyes that said she wanted more, though it was gone by the time she turned and saw a little boy and a little girl pointing at us.
“Mommy, look!” The little girl shouted while grasping her mother's hand. She tugged on it and pulled her mother over. The little girl pointed at Evelyn while the little boy came up to me with a huge grin on his face.
“Awesome! Superman’s the best! You look like you’d be him with the glasses!” the little boy told me as I crouched down to be at his eye-level.
