“Why not?” Hendrick asked.
She looked around them and then Rocky caressed her hip.
“It won’t be good for the baby,” she whispered.
“Excuse me?” Paulie asked.
“What?” Hendrick asked. She chuckled and then nibbled her bottom lip.
“I’m pretty sure I’m pregnant.”
“Oh my God, how do you know? How did you find out?” Rocky asked.
“Well, I kind of lost track of things several weeks ago, and missed my period, and well, it’s three weeks late, I’ve been nauseous in the morning and well, I took a test yesterday.”
“Yesterday?” Rocky asked.
“Are you happy or is this a bad thing? We didn’t even talk about—”
Rocky was shocked but thrilled beyond belief as he lifted her up into his arms, being careful of her stitches and he kissed her deeply. Then he passed her to Hendrick, who kissed her next and then to Paulie.
“What the hell is going on over here?” Houston asked as their friends gathered closer.
“We’re having a baby!” Rocky yelled out and everyone started to congratulate them and give hugs and handshakes. Rocky looked at Paulie and Hendrick and they hugged one another, slapped their backs and smiled.
“One sexy little school teacher done rocked our worlds,” Paulie said and she laughed and hugged Paulie around the waist.
“She’s in a heap of trouble for keeping this secret though,” he said to her and gave her a serious squint.
Faith stepped closer and ran her palms up Rocky’s chest. “And you think I didn’t do that on purpose,” she whispered.
His brothers chuckled as Rocky pulled her into his arms and ran a palm over her ass. He gave it a smack. “Just wait until we get you home, sugar.”
He suckled against her neck and she laughed and swatted at his shoulder as his brothers laughed and happiness filled Rocky’s heart. They were finally going to have a family. Faith brought them back together, she healed their hearts, helped them to believe in love, and they would do anything for their woman, and he knew she would do anything for them, as well.
