Bishop
Bishop worked to catch his breath as his head swam and his body continued to spasm under Edison’s sexy weight. He lay down and took Edison with him, his spent cock twitching and slipping from his tight hole as he pulled him up higher on his chest. He kissed those soft cheeks, his forehead, down the bridge of his nose until he was sucking on those sweet lips. He didn’t know how long they parlayed in the afterglow, but Bishop wasn’t ready to get out of bed. He folded Edison into his arms, letting him nuzzle into his armpit.
When he caught Edison’s bright eyes, he saw a faint blush work from his smooth cheeks all the way to his chest. “I’m not a virgin anymore,” he said softly.
“Thank you,” he mumbled against Edison’s temple. “What you just gave me… means everything to me.”
“I love you,” Edison said.
“I love you too…” Bishop whispered.
They were quiet for a long time as Edison ran his fingertips over the smooth hair on his abdomen. Bishop was staring at him, lazily fingering Edison’s soft hair when he suddenly asked, “Will you move in with—?”
“Yes,” Bishop shot out before Edison even finished asking the question.
Edison blinked. “D-did you hear what asked?”
“Did you hear my answer?” Bishop said, smiling wide.
Edison’s smile got bigger and bigger until he was beaming and vibrating beside him. There was nothing he’d deny Edison. Nothing he’d refuse his lover. If Edison wanted him there with him every day then he would give him all the time he had to spare.
“You’re sure you’re ready to put up with all this?” Bishop asked, spreading his arms wide. “It’s gonna be a long road, baby. You down to ride with me?”
“Oh yeah, I’m down.” Edison laughed. “I’m not sure what that even means, but yeah… I’m down.”
Bishop rolled with Edison in his arms, his heart feeling as if it’d burst out of his chest. Finally, the war was over, and he’d won the most important battle. He’d never known true happiness before. Wood had talked about it and described it to him, but he’d never quite understood it… not until now. He had his friends, his father, his work, his schooling, and now he had Edison Scala’s heart.
Bishop had all he needed to succeed.
The End… for now
The Love Story will continue with more of Bishop and Edison’s happiness and their battle to beat illiteracy together.
Book Two will feature two new men with a love story just waiting to unfold…Wood & Trent
Author Bio
A.E. Via has been a best-selling author in the beautiful gay romance genre for six years now, but she’s no stranger to MM. She’s been an avid reader of gay lit for over fifteen years before she picked up her laptop to place her own kiss on this genre. She’s also the founder and owner of Via Star Wings Books, having published a couple great new up and coming MM authors.
A.E. has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Virginia Wesleyan College that she used to start her own paralegal firm after she graduated in 2008. She spent five years preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions for struggling blue collar workers who couldn’t afford to file with a lawyer. It was a rewarding and satisfying career… but another path called to her.
Writing.
A.E.’s writing embodies everything from hopelessly romantic to adventure, to scandalous. Her stories often include intriguing edges and twists that take readers to new, thought-provoking depths.
She’s currently celebrating her 20th book anniversary, and is kind of known now for her hardcore, play rough and love hard, bad boy, alphas. However, she does like to push herself to step out of her comfort zone, exploring different tropes, but she won’t push herself into a whole other genre. She’s head over heels for gay romance and she has tons of more hot stories to tell.
