Arthur´s heart was weak, yet working under an extraordinary stability, which also discarded the pacemaker implant… So all cardiologists and doctors were bewildered, and in many cases couldn´t even pronounce a single word… The fact of “burning” an atheroma -they said- would require a considerable amount of energy which as well would have to be concentrated in a very specific region. In other words, that it had to be a sort of “intelligent” energy…
Obviously the perception of the doctors could only be restricted to that of their analytical and clinical verifications. Yet the miraculous phenomena embraced domains much wider than those they could even imagine. For instance, in no case could they acknowledge that the whole cost of the pacemaker, its implanting and the by-pass surgery in all its aspects corresponded almost exactly to the amount of money that Arthur apparently had “lost” in the whole issue of the mortgage rescission and Helena´s divorce… Yet the phenomena couldn´t either be restricted to the economic sphere, but actually transcended towards domains that are related to the existential place of man in the cosmos…
That is what Eve knew in her heart during those moments, keeping silent, while smiling with self-satisfaction, when observing all the general flutter happening due to the miraculous results of Arthur´s TAC. The whole medical staff was excited, agitated, perturbed, going from one place to another trying to verify that no data had been misplaced, and that all proofs were reliable. Nobody could believe what they had in front of them. Except Eve… She just like Arthur, knew herself perfectly situated in the center of the cosmos for the whole of eternity, serenely aware at all moments of her intimate wisdom. She knew perfectly well that she could never communicate such wisdom in words, but only illuminate it with her eternal presence…
Year 2798 of our era… Six centuries after the end of the Dark Modern Ages, planet earth and human societies are practically unrecognizable from the eyes of our own times, since as it always occurs, it is always difficult to establish communication bridges between different ages and different cultures.
After several severe glaciations and abrupt changes in the terrestrial crust and the biosphere, we are now in the presence of a kingdom called Artari, composed of 800.000 individuals, among all communities and confederations. This kingdom is ruled by a Solar King, Arton. By always being assessed by wise men, priestesses and solar warriors, Arton and his kingdom are in a constant fight against the barbarians, who always menace the sacred kingdom of Artari with fanatic religious ideas of the past called Expansion and Development, which Arton considered as a subversive and “cancerous” movement that had already caused planetary havoc in the mythical and prehistoric times that go from the 16th to the 21st century.
Once facing this situation and new global menace, Arton decides to know about the divinities of their enemies and proposes a committee of wise elders to investigate the mystical powers of their opponents. And after three artonian months, these are the conclusions presented by the committee:
“Your excellent majesty Arton,
Unfortunately we were unable to find anything about what occurred seven centuries ago, during the Modern Dark Ages. We suspect that there existed a vast human society, probably in the number of billions at a planetary level. But we were incapable of finding any trace of their cultures or existential standpoints, since the Techno-System of those times absorbed within it all destinies, and today we have neither the software nor the codes that allows us to have access to the digital format contents that we suspect that can still be recorded in the few electronic devices that have survived in the moon and satellites. Practically after the 17th century we´ve been unable to find any vestiges of that dark world.
However, in carved granite and at considerable distance from the earth´s surface we´ve found pictograms that we estimate are from the 21st century, and that tell the story of our founding hero, Arthur, who again reappeared in the world of men and fought bravely against the Dragon and the omnipotent power of the Techno-System. These pictograms make us suspect that in the reining darkness of the 21st century, the divinities still achieved -by technological means we don´t yet understand- becoming implanted in some men´s heart and illuminating their destiny.
And naturally, our destiny as Sacred Kingdom of Artari.
