Carl never had any girlfriends during high school he would ask out girls and they would turn him down. Everyone at Carl’s high school found him to be awkward and girls were uneasy around him. Carl was not a very big guy he was around 5’7 and 140 pounds. Although he was extremely smart. Kids at school would often tell him, he was the next Ted Bundy. Carl hated that; he would become very angry.
Friends and family said his parents could loving with all their kids, they pushed them into sports, winning and getting straight A’s. Carl’s parents were very strict. They both believed in corporal punishment. The house was to be kept spotless at all times. Carl never acted out as a child. There were never any signs according to his family or friends he would do anything to harm another human being. Carl had a secret life no one knew about. All he cared about was making money, and he did not care who he hurt.
Carl decided he wanted to move out to California. He said he needed a change of scenery. What nobody knew was that Carl was raping women. Carl would drug these women, and rape them while they were unconscious. He would video tape these rapes. He would steal jewelry from these women and keep them as trophies. Carl wanted complete control over these women.
So, he had to flee NY before he was caught.
Carl moved to San Francisco, rented an apartment and became the super of the apartment building. Carl had no criminal history and it was easy for him to get the job. He was thirty when he left NY. Carl was not a very good-looking man, he had divots on his face from acne scars. He was small in stature and thin. He had thick bushy eye brows and a lot of body hair. Often times he did not brush his hair, shower and he had bad body order
When Carl moved to California, he had nothing. He met Matias, and Facundo Martinez by chance. Carl hatched up a plan to start selling young girls. Matias, and Facundo would be his muscle, and sweet talk the girls. Promising them a better life with people who loved them. Carl, assured them they could make a lot of money by selling girls for sex. He also said they could make a ton of money selling videos of children having sex with grown men. By selling it on the dark web. All Carl needed them to do was coheres the girls into leaving with them. He instructed the guys to make sure they were young and pretty. Carl, told Facundo and Matias to make sure they were displaced, and to lure these girls in with promises of a better life. Carl, told Matias and Facundo that men would pay a lot more for a virgin. So, they started planning. They kidnapped two 9-year-old girls and forced them to have sex with grown men. That is how Carl started his child porn business. It is unclear what happened to the 2 children.
He started selling child pornography on the internet and it was lucrative. He also started to sell rape videos of him raping unconscious women. He used the same ammo that he used in Rochester, NY. Soon Carl figured out that he could sell young girls for money. He soon moved into trafficking young girls and the money was easy for him. He did not care who he hurt; he had no regard for human life. He would have Matias and Facundo take the girls off the streets. A lot of times Carl would choose high risk girls. Girls nobody would go looking for. He also ordered Matias to shot anybody who got in the way. He never really did his dirty work. Carl, only kept the girls until he was finished with them. He would sell them or have Matias kill them and dispose of their bodies.
He took a lot of stunning girls, and he knew he could make so much money off of them. He knew if some were virgin’s he would make even more money. He had so many girls, some he sold, and we are not sure what happened to the others, he did not care about the consequences of his actions. He thought he would get away with this forever. He was mistaken, he was cruel, cold hearted and only cared about himself.
At times Carl would place ads on Craigslist saying he was looking for models. Girls would show up and Carl would take their pictures. Tell the girls and to check out his website when they got home. His website seemed legitimate so the girls did not question him. The following day he would have someone call the girls and tell them that they were chosen for the modeling job. None of these girls knew what they were getting into. Carl would drug them, chain them up, and force them into sex. He filmed everything live and put it up on the internet. When he was finished with one girl, he would sell her to someone else. One day Carl found out that he could sell the girls organs for money. So, when he was finished with the girls that he could not sell he had them killed. He would instruct Matias and Facundo not to hit any vital organs so everyone would make money. He found an organ broker to harvest the girl’s organs and someone to cremate their remains. He had it all figured out.
Matias and Facundo would kidnap girls from the street and Carl would force them to film pornos with different men. He would put the pornos on the dark web and allow other men to make requests on what they wanted. It was quite disturbing. Carl charged these men to watch the pornos live. All of the girls were underage so Carl was promoting child pornography. There was so much money to made. He would get requests of the girls naked in pictures and he would oblige. For a fee of course. He would beat the girls, lie to the girls and use fear to control them. Carl, kept these girls in the same room that he kept Lily Rose and Meghan. He would tell the girls they could go home once he was done with them. He never let any girl leave; he would sell them to another trafficker.
Carl would have Matias and Facundo look for girls outside of foster homes, bus stops and broken homes. He would manipulate these girls into believing they would be paid. Carl, would provide false hope to these girls. He would convince them that he was the only one who truly loved them. He would tell these girls that he would take care of them and provide for them. When in reality he never did. They were not allowed to go outside, call family and they were barely fed or given water.
They were forced to sleep with at least twenty men a day. They were chained and slept on a concrete cold floor. They had no blankets or beds. He had the lamps chained down; the dresser was screwed down. They were made to shower after each sexual encounter. These girls were locked inside a room day in and day out. If one tried to escape, she would be killed or beaten. If he did not like one of the girl’s hair color, he would dye it. He started shaving the girl’s legs, after one of the girls took the razor apart, and tried to slice his throat open. He was making so much money off of these girls. Yet, he provided them with the bare essentials. Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, towels, wash clothes and feminine products. He never thought he would be caught or one of his girls would fight back. These girls never saw a doctor to be treated for STD’S.
Carl would control these girls psychologically. He always said they were going home once their debt was paid. Sometimes Carl would use force, he would dope the girls up. He promised, food, clothing, shelter, he would beat on the girls and force them to sleep with men without protection. He would tell the girls he would take them to a doctor. Carl, would take their forms of identification. So, if the girls wanted out, they could not get out without any form of ID. These girls felt like even if they could get out or got out, they would have no way to obtain a job, or get home. Carl had a radar on his head that he can determine who has been sexually abused as a child. He knew who came from an abusive home. He went after preteens because they are more susceptible to the advances, deception and manipulation tactics used by sex traffickers.
Carl loved to tattoo his girls so he knew they belonged to him, and his girls knew they were his. He dressed his girls inappropriately. Carl loved to pose his girls on the internet with barely any clothes on. He loved to film his girls. Especially girl on girl action and multiple men at once. Carl’s goal was to keep the girls enslaved. He made them feel like there was no hope. He broke them down. When men would sleep with these girls’ condoms were rarely used. Carl simply did not care. None of the girls were provided with health care, dental care or birth control. If any of the girls became pregnant Carl would abort the fetus himself. Many of the girls became sick from his abortions. He would still force them to work. Some of the girls died from his botched abortions. Again, he would have Matias and Facund
o take their bodies to be cremated and have their organs harvested. These girls were forced to work six days, sometimes seven days a week. They were forced to have sex on their periods. They were forced into anal sex, and drugged so they looked dead to some men. They were tied up beaten, before the men slept with them. Unimaginable things these poor girls went through.
When Carl was murdered nobody wanted to believe he was such a monster. As a child he grew up in a prominent neighborhood as a young boy he had a lot of friends. Carl started to change when he went into middle school. He had breakouts on his face and body. He was often bullied for it. HIs parents spent a fortune trying to get rid of this acne. He started to keep to himself, he would take his sisters Barbie dolls and tie them up. There was no history of Carl hurting animals, but he definitely hated women. He would dismember his sister Tina’s dolls, he would cut their heads off, there limbs and stab them.
It later came out that his babysitter was molesting and raping Carl. She would force him to go down on her. She would go down on him and make him sleep with her. She used a dildo to sodomize him. She would force Carl to have both anal, and vaginal sex with her. This started when Carl was 10 years old, and continued until he was 18. Carl’s mother knew all about this and did nothing. She did not want to ruin her family’s reputation. Carl lived alone in a world of isolation, and pain. He never told his father or any of his teachers, he kept it a secret. If his father had found out he would have beaten the shit out of Carl.
When I spoke with Carl’s mother. At first, she denied that anything like that had happened to Carl. Eventually, she started to tell the truth. She said she regretted not telling his father or getting him help. She said she was selfish. She was only thinking of her, and her husbands’ reputations. She felt she was protecting Carl because their family was so high profile. Carl’s mother Barbara went on to say that his father Mark had beaten him and Gregg as children. He would leave bruises where no one could see them. His father broke Carl’s arm one time, and they had to go to the emergency room. Carl lied, and told the staff that he had fallen out of a tree. Barbara also told me that his father had beaten her too. This happened over 35-year time period. No one knew this was going on because none of the family members were ever hit in the face.
Barbara never called the police out of fear of retaliation from her husband. She never went to any shelters. She thought domestic violence shelters were beneath her. The whole family hid their secrets well. No one suspected anything was wrong. Barbara said that she should have left with the children but she did not have the strength to do so. She, and the children feared Mark.
He would make threats to kill his entire family. He told Barbara if she ever left, he would kill her, the children and himself. He made the entire family feel weak, worthless and powerless. Barbara stated the only child Mark did not beat on was Tina.
“Mark started to climb into Tina’s bed when she was nine years old. By the time she was ten he was fondling her and having her fondle her own father. Mark started raping Tina when she was eleven years old. He could have been a family annihilator.”
“This happened every night, her own father got her pregnant when she was thirteen and forced her to have an abortion.”
Barbara said Mark had Tina put on birth control pills, and started using condoms with her. This continued until Tina was seventeen, and she moved out of the family home. Barbara, went on to say she knew, about all of this and she did nothing.
“Mark is dead now he died from a stroke.”
Barbara said Mark had a history of drug use often times he would order prescriptions in other people’s names. Mark would have different people pick up the scripts for him. Mark was also an alcoholic. He would write scripts for Xanax, Valium and all sorts of pain killers.
“I as a mother cannot change what happened to my children. Tina and Gregg do not speak to me; they will never forgive me. Tina and Gregg are both drug addicts. My son Carl is dead. I do not blame Lily Rose for what she did.”
Barbara went on to say that she loves her son Carl, she loves all of her children. Her only wish is that she could turn back time and get her children out of that home.
“Carl will always be my first born. I hate what he did, and all the suffering he caused. All I can say to those families Carl hurt, Lily Rose and Meghan. I am sorry my husband and I raised a monster. I hope in their hearts they can find a way to forgive me.”
When Carl kidnapped Lily Rose, he was not expecting her to fight back. According, to Lily Rose, Carl told her she was weak, unloved and worthless. He told her nobody was looking for her because no one cared. He would beat on Lily Rose, drug her and have men do horrific things to her. I do not know how she survived it. Carl made it so Lily Rose lost her virginity to a stranger. I know from her friends and family her virginity was sacred to her. She wanted to wait until she was married to Zack. He had stolen Zacks life and inflicted so much pain on so many people.
Carl, has never been a good guy he was a psychopath; he had no feelings for anyone else. He was also self-serving, self-absorbed and a narcissist. He was only wrapped up in himself, he did not care for others. He only pretended to care. The day he bought Meghan that was his first mistake. Carl, had gotten away with what he was doing for years. He was not on any of law enforcements radar. He could have kept doing what he was doing and probably never have been caught. Matias and Facundo were not under any suspicion themselves. That is until the evening of April 8, 2017 when Matias shot, and killed Zack, Facundo, and Matias kidnapped Lily Rose.
Lily Rose, saw an opportunity and took it. What Lily Rose did was a miracle, Carl was going to kill her, and Meghan. I do not blame Lily Rose for defending Meghan, and herself. I would have done the exact same thing myself. Carl had no idea what Lily Rose was planning on doing to him. Lily said that part of her wanted him to die. Another part wanted him to live so he would spend the rest of his days in prison. I know Lily Rose, Meghan, Mr. and Mrs. Bower and Lily’s parents are okay with what she did. She saved Meghan’s life, and other girls lives that day. She took a dangerous individual off the street.
There are those out there that say Carl was a victim. Yes, he had a terrible childhood but he did not need to become a victimizer. He drugged, and raped women in college. He may have raped a lot more women. We do not know about, and his behavior only escalated. He held young girls as sex slaves, he drugged them, he murdered them, he sold their organs for profit and he ruined so many lives. Carl, is not the victim all the women, and girls he raped are the victims. Lily Rose and Meghan are survivors, they are my heroes. Carl is gone and Matias and Facundo are going to be sitting in prison for the rest of their lives. They are pleading guilty to all the charges.
When the FBI searched Carl Bookers computer, they found young girls being raped. Young girls being murdered he had the live feed going constantly. They found the organ broker Carl was selling these girls organs to. The FBI found the man who was cremating their bodies. They also recovered a ton of child pornography. Nude pictures of minors. They got the list of men who were involved with these online activities. The FBI made a lot of arrests. There were a lot of men in Carl’s chat room. All of these men will be going to prison for the child pornography they were in possession with. The Federal Government plans on charging these men with one count of each image they had on their computers, and many of them had between 80,000 to 150,000 images. Some men had more than 1,500 hours of child pornography.
So, they will be charged with each image. So, these men will never get out of prison. These men claimed to be just voyeurs they said nobody was being hurt. FBI agent Angelo said what about the children in the pictures? Or the girls being raped they were hurt. Some of those girls are dead. “Do not tell me nobody was hurt.”
Carl kept their screen names, their real names, addresses and phone numbers as an insurance policy.
According to Barbara Carl’s father Mark was severely beaten as a child. When Mark started dating Barbara, he told her about the abuse. He swore to Ba
rbara that he would never hit her out of anger or do anything to harm her.
After Barbara and Mark were married the abuse started, at first it was only verbal. She was not cleaning the house correctly or folding the laundry right. He would criticize everything she did, the bathrooms were never up to his standard. The floors were not clean enough despite the fact she mopped them twice a day. He would go room to room looking for dust. The kitchen was never clean enough, and the rugs were always dirty to Mark.
One day Barbara, told Mark to do it himself if he wasn’t happy with her work. He struck Barbara in her face giving her a black eye that is the one and only time he hit Barbara in the face. She was pregnant with Carl at the time. He told her not to mouth off or he would punch her in the belly so she would lose the baby.
Of course, Barbara backed off and went into the kitchen to cook dinner. Barbara’s dinners were never good enough for Mark. He would throw his plates against the wall and kick the table over making a mess. He would make Barbara clean up his mess and blame her for making him angry. Mark would always apologize, he would buy her flowers, jewelry, cars and other expensive gifts. This abuse went on for years no one was immune including his children.
