Magic Makes the Man Page 5

by Jason Hutchinson

The words blurted out almost directly from her subconscious. His face ramped up its outward display of desire, though his plowing cock showed no sign of letting up and allowing him to give her what she wanted so badly.

Three last blows against her flesh made the flimsy desk shudder under her tingling body’s weight. With a sudden feeling of loss, her body felt empty as he left her, one hand still gripping her ankle as he moved around to the other side of the desk. Her neck ached as she let it loll back. She’d been holding her head up throughout his savage assault on her body, but now he cradled it in his strong hand, maneuvering her into position.

He lay his balls across her lips and Mia hungrily took one into his mouth, getting the first taste of her own pleasure as fingertips found one of her erect nipples, bearing down on the sensitive peak with diamond-producing pressure.

His own groans were pleasing to her ear, but one of her hands was already making its way between her spread legs, searching to continue the stimulation down there while she was busy enjoying a different pleasure from his body.

Steve tilted her head back more and pressed the head of his cock into her mouth. She concentrated on her breath, relaxing herself as he started to stroke in and out between her lips, mimicking the pace he had initially set between her legs. Strumming her clit gently with her fingers, it was like he was inside her down there, too; one cock doing double duty, filling her mouth with his heat while the lingering tingles and soreness he’d created down below was still fresh in her senses.

The strokes became deeper and deeper, the head of his cock tickling her throat as he somehow created a sensory contrast. His hand was so gentle, cradling and supporting her sore neck while his cock blocked her throat, depriving her of air as he started to take every inch she had to offer him.

  Chapter Ten

Steve withdrew his cock from Mia’s throat, watching the thick stream of drool trace across her pretty face. He didn’t want to release her head, but his cock was leading him back between her legs.

He rolled her, lowering her feet to the floor as he positioned her flat on her stomach, her head and arms hanging over the far side of the desk. She jutted her ass out to him as if in invitation; and invitation that he quickly accepted.

Mia groaned loudly as he slid back into her body, feeling the tight walls of her vagina draw him in hungrily. His cock fought back hard, though, creating beautiful ripples in her sweet flesh as it slammed in and out, feeling her pleasure building as much as his. She held firm, bracing her tight, young body against his blows. She was at the edge of another orgasm and he knew it, though he wasn’t entirely certain that the first one had ever really diminished enough to be considered over. The sexy thing seemed to be in a constant state of climax and her body was advertising it to his. She was tight and incredible.

In fact, Steve realized that it was the most exciting encounter he had ever had, though his long tryst with Amira Nimri back when he was in the service was a close second. Nothing like that had ever happened to him and both had happened since…

  Firefly.

He pushed the thought out of his mind.

Mia’s body was shuddering, bucking back hard on his cock as roughly as he was driving forward into her. Her knees were barely supporting her, though her position didn’t require it. Steve continued pounding into her magnificent body until his balls couldn’t handle it anymore.

He was going to give her what she had asked for, though. She cried out in loss as his cock withdrew, but her eyes showed her eagerness as he came around to the other side of the desk, sliding it between her lips like one other hole he owned and would use as he pleased.

The moment he felt her throat clutch tightly around his invading cock, he exploded. The first throbbing blast drained into her stomach but he continued to saw in and out. Mia tried valiantly to keep his cum between her tightly clenched lips, but some drained to a puddle on the tile floor as he continued to fuck her mouth. As he slowed, he imagined it starting to pool up on her tongue before feeling her mouth tighten as she swallowed load after load. It seemed unusual to him. Over and over he fired and she swallowed again and again.

  Chapter Eleven

“You could wish to not be so awkward.” Firefly whispered as Steve slid into the driver’s seat next to her. “Or to be not so much of a party-pooper.”

He looked over at her, glaring.

“You could say thank you.” The feisty Jinn whispered, looking out the passenger window.

Steve turned the key in the ignition, hearing the roar of the engine. He depressed the clutch, feeling his fingers gripping the shifter, but he paused.

“I just don’t want to be that guy, you know?”

There was a short pause, but Firefly was genuinely confused. “What guy? Guys like to get laid, too, don’t they? That girl really enjoyed it. Every minute of it.”

“And how can you know that for sure, Firefly? What if she regrets it later? Was it the same with Amira, too? How am I supposed to know now whether even that one was consensual?”

Steve Ballard was a confusing one. In all her years as a Jinn, Firefly had never had a master that didn’t go crazy for the first week or two. This one? It had been months and he’d only made one wish, and even that one hadn’t even been sexual in nature. She could see into his mind, so she knew that he enjoyed it; he just had inhibitions.

“Maybe I need to explain the magic to you.” She said. “It might help you with your hang-ups.”

The glare was even more intense this time as he put the car into reverse.

“It’s not a hang-up for me to not want you to manipulate…”

“Put it in park for a minute.” Firefly said.

  “What do you mean?”

“Just put it in park.” She insisted. “I’m going to show you something.”

  Chapter Twelve

Steve felt exhilarated and happy in a way he never imagined possible. It was like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. The last thing he remembered was talking to Firefly in the car, yet he was walking outside, enjoying the feeling of the sun as if beat down onto his shoulders.

Though there was going to be a lot more recovery needed from his last relationship, he knew that he had made a breakthrough. What had started as pleasure had turned to abuse, but all that was over now. The fresh start was his own choice and he knew it was the right one. What his last relationship had turned into wasn’t going to happen again and he needed to let go of that fear. The encounter in the classroom had served to show that. It had been rough and forceful, yet it had also been very sweet.

  The soldier had…

  Chapter Thirteen

  “What the fuck!”

Steve shook his head, blinking his eyes as he felt the contact point where Firefly was touching his arm break. The engine was sputtering and finally choked into silence.

“See?” She said, smiling as she cocked her head a bit.

“See what? What the fuck was that, Firefly?”

It shook him to the core. Every moment of it had been so real, and it hadn’t been until that last, stray thought that he had realized the thoughts and emotions he had been experiencing weren’t even his.

  “Magic is real, Steve.”

“I know that. You’ve fucking proved that to me, Firefly. I still don’t get what…”

“You felt her feelings. You felt the emotions in her head. Can you even rationally tell me that what the two of you did in the classroom didn’t benefit her?”

Steve felt the emotions as if they were his own. In a way, they were. “But that doesn’t make it right. That’s not going to happen every time. It would be too much of a coincidence if…”

  Firefly was grinning.

“…if that…” Steve paused, unable to find the words and somehow more thrown off by the cute jinn’s smile than he thought possible.

  “It’s magic, dummy.”

Steve’s mind raced. He tried a million mental jigsaw pieces, but none of them fit into spot Firefly had pointed out.r />
  “Amira was…”

“Amira Nimri was in a serious depression and had a lot of self-loathing. Ever since her husband gained my sister’s powers, she felt undesirable and hideous because her husband wanted nothing but a harem of women that were nothing like her. You showed her that a man could truly desire her again; truly want to give her the attention her late husband no longer would.”

“That’s not how magic works, Firefly.”

Steve knew it was a stupid thing to say even before the Jinn’s laughter began. The sparkling lights erupted from her face and neck, an effect that was nearly as contagious as her stunning smile.

He started the car again, put the car in reverse and eased out the clutch. He was halfway out of the university parking lot before the Jinn’s laugher finally bubbled down to a chuckle.

“Remember what we talked about when we first met?”

Steve looked over at her and her face was much more serious.

  “What part?”

“The part about people always trying to turn good things into bad things.”

  “Yeah.”

To Steve, the one word was less of an agreement and more of an admission of guilt. His own mea culpa. The one word made him smile and the emotions he’d felt through Mia seemed more real than ever.

“Now you know what magic is really like.”

Steve drove in silence for several minutes.

“It’s going to take a little bit to get used to that idea.” He said.

Firefly smiled and propped her bare feet up on the dashboard and the lights surrounding her reflected off the rearview mirror to dazzling effect. “Well, we’ll work on it.”

  Steve laughed.

“Now, let’s go have some fun.” Firefly said, glancing over at him. The others were pissed at her for what she’d done, but who was she to deny the way she felt about him.

  Book Two:

  Fangirls and Fantasies

  Chapter One

  Distracting the Jinn

Steve watched one of the droplets of condensation on his beer approach and finally assimilate its closest neighbor, creating a chain-reaction that continued its acceleration and gained enough momentum to crest the craft label and launch a futile attack on his fingers. Firefly’s petite legs were still draped over his own as he reclined on the couch.

The cute Jinn, who he couldn’t escape thinking of as ‘young’ despite her millennia of existence, peered up at him again, sparkling blue eyes highlighted by the twinkling lights that played upon her face when she was contented. She lowered Steve’s phone as soon as she noticed he was looking at her.

“Okay, so it is kinda fun.” Firefly smirked, looking down at the screen. It didn’t help Steve’s perception of her that he had finally silenced the chatty supernatural creature with the bubble-popping game on his phone. “What’s up?”

“And it really won’t affect my classes?”

Firefly’s eyes lit up with excitement. “You’re really thinking about it!” She gushed. “That’s awesome! I think the best bet would be to really stick to an agenda. I mean, there’s a limited time available and I can certainly help with lines and such but…”

“You’re not answering the question, Firefly.” Steve said, finally edging into the conversation. “Of course not, silly. I already told you about that.” She paused for a moment. “Well, maybe I wasn’t entirely clear. See, it’s a simple spell that actually requires a certain level of sophisti…”

Steve Ballard sighed, the words still coming even though his ears had turned off.

“I got it.” He said. “I just wanted to make sure. A golem? Just to go to classes, right? It won’t take tests for me or anything and I’m going to make up the studying I missed on my own.”

Firefly’s eyes dipped briefly back to the phone and he saw her finger moving rapidly before they flashed back up to his.

“No. I mean, yes, I think.” She said, then laughed. “Anyway. It’ll be fine. You said you didn’t have any tests or anything. I still don’t understand why you don’t let me just get you a degree. I could even…”

“I want to learn the material, Firefly.”

The cute Jinn rolled her eyes. “Duh. I could just put the information in there, you know.”

“Like when you put information about what I like into Serena Danforth’s head?”

Their eyes locked for a moment in silence before being broken by the slowly-sprouting and entirely wicked grin on Firefly’s face finally flowered.

“Hey, maybe you need to label the fantasies in that head of yours better.”

She covered her cherry-red lips with her fingertips, stifling a laugh. The lights on her face matched her mirth, spinning across her perfect skin like the twinkles of a disco ball.

“Some fantasies are just that.” Steve said, his voice terse. “Just because you think it doesn’t mean you actually want to do it.”

“Serena did it good, too!” Firefly chuckled, finally no longer able to control her laughter.

As usual, it was contagious. For the last few months, Steve had wondered a few times if even that was part of the Jinn’s magic. She’d definitely explained a lot about magic to him, even though it still hadn’t completely dispelled his hesitance to use it.

Steve finished the last of his beer, the rivulets of condensation hastily reversing course as he upended it. “And she benefitted from that?”

“In more ways than one.” Firefly finally spat out between giggles. “She always wanted to get into that lifestyle and being with you finally lit a fire under her…”

“Well, at least I didn’t do it literally.” Steve smiled.

Firefly appeared to be on the verge of hyperventilating with laughter. Steve held her bare legs down over the top of his thighs to keep them from pounding into him. He waited patiently. Once she got laughing, it was best to just ride it out and he knew it. He retrieved his phone, running a search.

Several minutes later, the Jinn took a deep, exaggerated breath and Steve looked back up at her. With perfect stoicism, she spoke. “So, we’re going, then?”

“Yeah, we’re going. Can you just be extra careful that the golem interacts with people as little as possible?”

The Jinn gave him an offended look. “I got this, Steve.” She said. “If you’d start actually wishing for things, things would be a whole lot easier.”

He wasn’t entirely sure what was still driving his reluctance to use Firefly’s eagerly-offered powers to their full advantage. Part of it was a fear of losing control. Lines about absolute power continuously reminded him of where things could lead. The other part of it was the Jinn herself. She seemed so innocent, though he was aware of the fact that all of those feelings were his own and not coming from her. She was effectively a giddy college-girl living a perpetual spring break trapped in the body of an extremely powerful magical creature. The bottom line was that even though he loved having her around and certainly benefitted from the magic she performed for his benefit on her own accord, she was extremely volatile. He knew that she would be the last one to be able to rein him in if he started to show signs of corruption.

“Still working on that.” He said. “I’m getting there. Hey, I made a wish last week, right?”

Firefly rolled her eyes. For a brief moment, Steve thought they actually went up past her eyelids and reappeared from below.

“You wished for the drive-thru line at Sandy’s to be shorter.”

Steve laughed. “Baby steps, right? Just a little time-manipulation, no harm, no foul, right? They’re home with their food a little earlier and I get my double-cheeseburger.”

  The Jinn paled.

The accelerator of his thoughts jammed to the floor, causing mental tires to spin. “That is what happened to them, right, Firefly?”

She gave him a sheepish look. “Yeah, that’s totally what happened, Steve. What do you think I am, some kind of monster?”

  “Are you shitting me
right now? I can never tell.”

  “Don’t you wish you knew?”

The smirk was aggravating, but once again, it overflowed onto his own face.

“I’ll get tickets and we’ll fly out tomorrow night.”

  “You know, I could…”

“We’re going to fly commercial.” Steve said, flatly.

Firefly pouted. “I’m sure it’ll be a blast. I’m used to confined spaces, anyway. I still call dibs on getting us VIP access at the comic book convention, though.”
