“Sam I'll never let anyone hurt you,” Chris said.
“Does that include yourself?” I asked.
“I did what I had to in order to save your life,” he said.
“My life wasn't worth saving,” I said.
“What is that supposed to mean Sam?” he asked.
“It means what difference would it make. Either everyone thinks I'm crazy or they're terrified of me for some reason. So which is it for you?” I asked.
“Right now I think you're acting crazy. I love you Sam. I've always loved you,” Chris said.
“Then why did you walk away from me that day? Why when you found out My best friend was also my second in command did you walk away from me?” I asked.
