  That just did it.

  I’m soaked.

“Oh, yeah, is that right? You own me, huh?” I rolled my cigarette around in the ashtray and grabbed for the second shot he’d made me. “What if I decided to get up and walk out right now?”

He sat there staring at me, slowly smokin’ the cigar and shook his head. “Girl, you can get up and walk anytime you want. You’ll regret that decision if ya do. I told you I’m relentless.”

Why is he turnin’ me on so much?

This should not be makin’ me wet.

“Oh, so what . . . you’ll hunt me down?” I tried to laugh it off like he wasn’t sayin’ what it sounded like he was. “How relentless are you, highn-ass?”

  Shut up!

He pulled me to my feet, put my hand between his legs, and rubbed it on his hard dick. “For one thing, you won’t get this again and, girl, I’m not done with you yet. As for how persistent I am . . . I’m like a dog with a bone. I don’t just give up and we’ve just started. You can take that one to the bank, baby.”

FOCUS’ hand was strokin’ me through my jeans and the other was toyin’ with the strap on my tank top. I didn’t want him to stop, and that was exactly why he had to.

“Nixx, girl, don’t fight it. It’s not as dire as you’re thinkin’. You are not walkin’ out that door. You know it. I know it.” He pointed to Rattler and Crucifix. “They know it. Am I lyin’?”

He was right. I wasn’t goin’ anywhere. The Mounds Bar felt right, but dangerous as all hell. FOCUS wasn’t somethin’ I wanted to walk away from. At least until I had enough money to leave.

“So, I’m a waitress in a titty bar. Got it. What’s the uniform I’m gonna wear for this whole thing? Oh, and when is my contract up?”

His hand tightened between my legs and the laugh I loved had a sinister twist to it. “Your contract is up when I say so. Until I say, you’re Royal Bastards property. My property. Be glad I don’t throw you down on the stage and fuck you in front of these two to make it official.”

FOCUS has this way of turnin’ me all the way up and keepin’ me there. No way in the world I could have dodged the addiction he’d started.

He kept the promise. I was a waitress—for a month. I was surprised it took me that long to break. The lure of the money was one thing, but he’d lit a fire in me. I needed to fan those flames and set the world ablaze.

FOCUS was on my mind 24/7. He moved me outta my aunt’s place into the clubhouse in the city. Most of the time, he’d be doin’ business behind locked doors and I’d be left alone. The guys in the club flowed in and out. They were nice to me a lot of the time, but some were less chatty than others. Crucifix was my rock, and usually the one who babysat me durin’ the meetings. The whole time, I’d be hopin’ to see FOCUS for even a minute. It was always the same answer, “Club business, baby.”

There was only so much pool a girl could shoot before gettin’ bored outta her mind. Crucifix and I had talked about everything that was open for discussion. After two weeks, I started beggin’ for extra shifts at the Mounds Bar. I couldn’t just sit around craving him when he didn’t have time. There was a constant ache between my legs, and it probably didn’t help that he fucked me hard every night after my shift. The more I got, the more I needed. There was no ignoring that feelin’.

  FOCUS is a drug.

“Hey, Crucifix . . . is it always gonna be like this?” I sat up on the couch and looked over to him sittin’ at the bar. I’d been watchin’ TV and tryin’ not to let my appetite for FOCUS get the better of me but my mind was racin’. “Like, will it be club business, Mounds business, and none of my business forever and ever, amen?”

He walked around and sat next to me. “Kid, you’re new to this life, but yeah. Men’s club. Men’s business. You’re property and do as you’re told without askin’ questions. Honestly, ignorance is bliss . . . too much shit that you really don’t wanna know about. It keeps ya safe too.”

I wasn’t even sure I wanted to know what he meant about that. The only reason it even bugged me at all was FOCUS. I needed him and he was always unavailable

Do I love him or do I just love that meaty cock fuckin’ me like an animal?

  DARLIN’ NIXX-I

“She’s doin’ a good job. I got no complaints, but time to step it up. It’s been a month, for chrissakes. You know as well as I do, she needs to be on the stage. We got plans for her.”

Rattler was sittin’ in the office, watchin’ the playback from the cameras. We’d been gettin’ asked by customers when she’d be up, why we were wastin’ those God-given talents by makin’ her hustle drinks, and the favorite—when could they get a lap dance from her? It was almost time for her to go to the next phase.

“Yo, not for nothin’, bro, but you need to get better angles or close-ups when you’ve got her in the champagne room and shit. That little snatch is too good to keep to yourself.”

Rattler was watchin’ the videos of me fuckin’ Nixx in the back and in the dressing room. I’d been doin’ her every which way, includin’ upside down, but the cameras weren’t close enough to really see. There weren’t too many places I hadn’t fucked her, except for the stage. We had somethin’ special comin’ for that.

“Ya know, man, it ain’t easy to get it all. We need better equipment. You’ll get your chance soon enough.” I pulled up a chair in front of all the screens to see what he was watchin’. “I’ll tell ya, she’s well worth the wait. As shy as she comes across, dang, that girl is buck wild! Lookit that little move right there! Now that’s some shit sent straight from Heaven!”

She had moves I’d never felt before—I couldn’t get enough. Rattler had become almost obsessed watchin’ the videos of us. With all the girls we’d done secret shoots with, Nixx was the first one to twist him up. It was all content for the websites.

Streamin’ live from the Mounds Bar in Midtown.

“Man, you need to watch the stuff that’s goin’ on real time. The rest of it can wait ‘til after close. Pull up the other views.”

The bar looked good, DJ booth too, front champagne room, and the sidewalk out front—all good. When we switched to camera one in the dressin’ room, the girls were huddled together. I wanted a better look, so I switched to number two. I went from calm to off the chain in the blink of an eye.

“Do you see what the fuck I’m seein’? I’m goin’ back there right now! This shit is not gonna fuckin’ happen! Not to her!”

I stormed out of the office and was bangin’ on the dressin’ room door in less than a minute. When I flung it open, my temper was at full throttle, high octane level. “You. You. You and you! Get the fuck out, now!”

Vicious and three house dancers jumped up and ran outta the room. They’d seen me pissed off and didn’t wanna cross me. Nixx stood to go. I blocked her and had a hand around that throat so fast her head was probably spinnin’.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doin’, girl?” I dragged her over in front of the mirrors by the make-up table. My hand had both of her cheeks in it and her lips were stickin’ out further the more I squeezed. “Look at yourself! You’ve got a fuckin’ bakery all over your nose! What would possess you to dive head first into an eight-ball of meth?”

We have our own cook, our own brand called 5 Points, but it’s not somethin’ I do. I’ll profit off of it all day long, but I never touch the shit. Neither will my girls, but Rattler encourages his bitches to do it.

  Not Nixx.

“Stop, FOCUS! I’m just so fuckin’ tired. I’ve been workin’ double shifts, spendin’ the nights with your dick poundin’ me in ways I’ve never even heard of . . . I’m just tired. The girls said it’d help.” She started to cry and black lines were fallin’ down her face. “I thought it was okay, ya know, ‘cause it came from Rattler.”

My rage was blinding and I was doin’ my best to not fuck her up.

My girl. My investment. My future earnings.

“Look at yourself! Look really good because you
see this beautiful face? Your perfect teeth?” I pushed her closer to the mirror. “You got the picture? Because if you start doin’ that shit, it’ll all be gone! You wanna look like Vicious . . . Do you?”

She was still cryin’ and shook her head fast.

“No! That’s right . . . you don’t!” I looked at the camera and then back to the mirror. “About Rattler, I’ll tell you this one time and one time only! You are not Rattler’s property! Do you understand me? You are my property! Anything that goes in your body . . . I don’t care if its food, drinks, drugs, or dicks . . . any fuckin’ thing that goes in . . . is my business! I own you and I’ll be damned if you’re gonna fuck that up!”

Vicious and the rest of them girls knew exactly what they were doin’. It’s a well known fact that I have a zero tolerance policy with that shit.

Rattler’s gonna get an ass chewin’! He better keep his whores in line.

If he’s behind this shit, so help me God, we’ll have a major problem.

“I’m gonna have Cassie bring you a couple drinks to level you out.” I looked over at her stuff and saw a bottle of juice. “Go get that bottle . . . it’s goin’ down the drain. It’s wired for sound, ain’t it?”

“Yes . . . I’m sorry, FOCUS!” She scampered away and I made her dump the contents in the toilet. I knew the girls put meth in bottles of juice or soda. Anytime I saw them walkin’ around with outside drinks, I knew it was wired.

“Girl, you need to pull your shit together. I ain’t jokin’. Fix your face, have a couple drinks, and get your ass back out on the floor.” I pushed the door and glared over at Nixx. “Oh, and just a heads up . . . your job description is fixin’ to change. You wanna act like one of ‘em, take it all the way.”

We had decent house dancers who were no nonsense and no bullshit. They’d come in, do their jobs, and not get into any of the crap. I wanted her to hang out with them. Rattler’s girls were almost all trouble from the get—they were gonna be told to stay far away from Nixx. Too much was ridin’ on her body and talents.

I slammed through the office door and Rattler was still at the desk. “I know you were watchin’! You better tighten those bitches up, I’m tellin’ ya now! I’ll give you the courtesy of not callin’ you out on this one, but it better not happen again!”

“I appreciate it, considerin’ I had nothin’ to fuckin’ do with it. My stuff, sure, and Vicious is mine, but she’s a jealous skeeze. Nixx is gonna bury her. I’ll tune her up and you won’t have any problems goin’ forward.” Rattler was drinkin’ a beer and fixin’ to eat a meatball hero. He offered half to me. “Here, want some? No hard feelin’s bro.”

“Yeah, no, we’re good, but I’ll beat her ass myself. The disrespect was done to me. I’ll handle that bitch.” I sat down in my chair and started flippin’ through the cameras with Rattler. I wanted to check on her. “Fuck! Where is she?”

Rattler started scannin’ through the different cameras. Nixx wasn’t in the dressin’ room or anywhere on the floor. He flipped to the bar. No Nixx. Then we found her.

“What the fuck is that girl doin’ at the DJ booth?” I picked up the phone and called Doc’s extension. She was walkin’ away as I waited for him to answer. When he picked up I started talkin’ fast. “Doc, man, what did she want? Waitresses have no reason to be up there with you.”

It was hard to hear him over the music, but I did my best and got enough. “. . . A song, man . . . she’s lit up like Christmas.”

I felt Rattler’s elbow in my ribs. His mouth was full, but he pointed to the screen as “Darling Nikki” started to play and Nixx began to dance.

She was in the corset and thong the waitresses wear and her hands were workin’ on the hooks down the front. Her moves were slow, sexy, and not as awkward as expected. I walked toward the stage and stood against a column watchin’. When she noticed me, she dipped down to her knees and started crawlin’ toward a customer. Her ass was arched up high and the white thong glowed between her legs. I could imagine how good that thing felt on a cock and couldn’t wait to be in it later.

Nixx has been practicin’ again, I see.

When she turned around, I motioned for her to come over. Her eyes were in that half-opened, I just got my brains fucked out, and I want more position. She’d done this whole thing on her own and I didn’t think it had to do with the meth. I was proud of her for doin’ it, but I was still ready to jack that little ass up.

  Punishment sex.

She rolled her head around when she got to where I was standin’ and the long brown waves fell around her face and moved like a dang fan was blowin’ ‘em. When she sat up, I reached my fingers to her mouth and pushed them in. She didn’t back off and started suckin’ like she does when my dick is down her throat. It got her some attention and she blossomed right there in front of everyone. When I backed away from the stage, she was in the middle of the third song and Rattler was standin’ to the side watchin’ too.

“Bro, she’s gonna be fuckin’ bank.” He didn’t take his eyes off her until she was done. He turned to me, his smile downright lecherous. “Goldie Licks . . . right?”

I smacked him on the back and watched the dressin’ room door close behind her.

“Oh, yeah, man. You know it.”

When she finally got Goldie Licked, it’d be all over. She’d love it or hate it. Either way, she’d do it.

  YOU DON’T OWN ME

Back in the dressin’ room, I sat against the lockers and tried to figure out what’d just happened.

  Oh. My.God! I did it!

It didn’t make me feel like I thought it would. I felt excited, liberated, alive—and very awake. That was probably the meth, but the rest was nothin’ short of amazing. FOCUS didn’t seem pissed off in the least. If they didn’t want me to do it, someone woulda pulled me down before all three songs played. All was good. Then I heard his voice and got nervous.

“All y’all need to clear out! No money to be made sittin’ on your asses in here.”

I heard high heels clicking across the floor and leavin’. I must’ve walked by them on the way in and not even noticed.

FOCUS came around the corner and checked me out. I couldn’t tell if the look on his face was amusement or like he might be gettin’ ready to happily kick my ass. He sat down on the bench and laughed.

“Ya know, girl, you never fail to surprise me. What in the world possessed you to go out and do that tonight? I mean, I mention it, and five minutes later you’re peelin’ it all off like a dang pro.”

I shook my head and looked down at my feet. My nerves were buzzin’ through me and the excitement was hard to contain.

“I dunno . . . I guess, well, you were pissed off at me . . . tryin’ to get back into your good graces, I suppose. You did say I’d be doin’ it anyway.” My glee couldn’t be held back anymore so it just came floodin’ out. “It was so exciting, like holy shit, I can’t believe it. I feel high! Like really high!”

He shook his head and looked away before laughin’. “Girl, in case you forgot . . . you are high and I’m still pissed as all hell about it! Ya did great, though. Better than expected.”

FOCUS has a way with backhanded compliments. Makes is totally hard to know where you stand. It wasn’t a good night for me to pop off at him, so I held my tongue and was just grateful he thought I did well.

“I feel so alive! Like the night we did it in the champagne room the first time. It’s crazy! I wish I woulda known that it was like this before.”

I wonder if FOCUS and Rattler hadn’t come in that night, if I’d feel the same. No way in the world I woulda done what I just had or even gone into a titty bar. Still, the things I’d done since meeting him had taken me down this path. If it woulda just been Rattler, or anyone other than FOCUS, would I be sittin’ in a dressing room after dancin’ topless and ready to scream it from the top of the Empire State Building?

“Well, lookit you expandin’ your horizons and shit! We’re gonna keep that up.” He reached down
and pulled me to stand. “Get freshened up and meet me in the back champagne room.”

After he walked out, I touched up my make-up with some that was sittin’ on the table by the mirrors. I couldn’t believe how sweaty I was. My hair was totally soaked underneath. Luckily, there was a blow-dryer. At least I could cool off and make it a little less wet before I went back to see him.

Did it turn him on as much as it did me?

I’ll find out when I get to the champagne room.

I added fresh deodorant, one of the fifty perfumes, and even a touch or two of glitter. If I was gonna act like one, I should look like one. It was in line with what he’d said earlier.

When I was back out on the floor, I felt like everyone was lookin’ at me. I didn’t even really care, except I wondered if they were judging my performance and whisperin’ that I’d finally taken the plunge.

Before I went to meet FOCUS, I stopped by the bar. My throat was dry and it felt like I’d die if I didn’t drink somethin’ cold. Cassie gave me a huge glass of ice water and I drank it through a straw, asked for another, and on the third started toward the back room. As soon as I crossed through the curtain, I realized FOCUS had different ideas than I had.

“Ok, baby. This is my good friend, Marine Captain Jordan Bishop. He’s a big investor with us and came over just to see the girl I’ve been tellin’ him all about.”

The man was really hot—sort of well dressed. Not one of the stock broker types, but even in black jeans and matchin’ t-shirt he didn’t look like a biker either. His hair was longish in the front and the neat goatee looked great around his lips. He also smoked a cigar.

“FOCUS has told me wonderful things about you.” He reached for my hand and pulled me to his lap. Without askin’, he started to run his fingers up a thigh until he got to my panties. “He said you can do special . . . naughty . . . things. Of course, like everyone else, I love special things.”
