Shadow Sun Progression: Shadow Sun Book Four

No, if he were to protect the human prince, and thus preserve his own physical existence, he would need to convince her to do the same.
From her previous comments, and the actions he suspected she was behind, he thought it might not be all that difficult. Hel admired Allistor’s ruthless tactics, especially when eliminating fellow humans who opposed him. Loki suspected it was Hel who had delivered the summoning scroll when Xar’ Dakra was defeated. And he was sure that Hel was behind the resource shortage, coordinated araneae hatching, attempted harvest of Earth resources, and subsequent movement by the Collective enforcers. All of which combined to draw Allistor into a volatile situation. What Loki wasn’t sure of, was whether all of that was meant as some sort of trap for the human boy, or as a way to boost his reputation.
“Regardless, it should not be difficult to convince my offspring to support the young prince.” He mumbled to himself. “The easiest way being to continue to appear to oppose him. She will, out of habit, work to oppose my will. And in doing so, she may do more than just support him. She may reveal herself, and suffer the wrath of Odin and Baldur in my stead.”
The Ancient One rose from his seat and glided toward the door, on his way to begin the battle of wit and will with his daughter.

Thanks once again to my family for their love, support, and occasional ass-kicking when I need it. They are my alphas, my sounding board, and the ones who aren’t afraid to tell me when something sucks! And a less enthusiastic thank you to my beta readers, who are rude, crude, and definitely socially unacceptable, but still good guys. A big thanks to Anders Hemlin for the wonderful cover art.

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO LEAVE A REVIEW!
Reviews on Amazon and Goodreads are vitally important to indie authors like me. Amazon won’t help market the books until they reach a certain level of reviews. So please, take a few seconds, click on that (fifth!) star and type a few words about how much you liked the book! I would appreciate it very much. I do read the reviews, and a few of my favorites have led to friendships and even character cameos!
