8. Body Language
We communicated though body language before we spoke.
In the course of conversation, we send silent signals using facial expressions, such as raising eyebrows, rolling or narrowing our eyes nodding our heads etc., most times these are unconscious actions.
In order to be congruent, we need to pay close attention to our body language as confirmed in a study conducted by Dr. Albert Mehrabian, Professor Emeritus of Psychology, UCLA - His 7%-38%-55% rule has been extensively quoted internationally.
Here is a simple breakdown of Mehrabian rule; when we speak – 7% is attributed to what you say; 38% is attributed to how you say it and the remaining 55% is attributed to your nonverbal communication. Food for thought!
“The most important thing in communication
is hearing what isn’t said.”
- Peter Drucker

hear what you say.”

“You cannot teach a man anything,
you can only help him
to find it within himself.”

a question mark signifies it.

Commitment begins with the first small steps and laser focusing on the bigger vision.
Commitment is important in every area of your life – you need to discipline yourself to act everyday on your goals and desires.
By seeing the bigger picture – your end goal – clearly, you’ll be motivated toto remain committed.
Put your commitment in writing, place it in an area that you can see and focus on it every day. Doing this will help to reinforce your commitment.

whisper a prayer, and start where you left off.

A decision that is acted upon can be life altering.
Be firm in your decision but know when to be flexible.<
