Claiming the Teacher: (Class is in Session Book 2)

I fell into laughter. “What?”
“That morning, I was all over the place just trying to get Caiden ready for school after getting up late. He almost didn’t make the field trip. But had I gotten up earlier, I would’ve just dropped him off at the carpool and he would’ve found his way to the classroom without me and I would’ve never met you.”
“I mean, you would’ve met me. I’m your son’s teacher.”
He chuckled and clarified. “Yes…” he started wearily. “But no.” I made a face at him. Did he not remember the one time we saw each other at the showcase? Was it just me who had noticed how unhappy he was with Kaylee that night?
“I wouldn’t have really met you,” he said. “With everything…” He looked off into the distance as though thinking about something. “It just worked out me being late that day.” He turned to me, the look in his eyes indecipherable, but enough to make me smile softly.
“Corey,” I said after a brief pause. He turned to me in acknowledgment. Although I had been avoiding this topic, the moment was pushing me to the truth. “What happened between you and Kaylee?” As soon as I asked, I felt regret. It didn’t matter that he had allowed me to delve deeper. It still felt like it wasn’t any of my business.
He didn’t shift too much in his expression, neither surprised nor offended, but he did pause. His eyes got that faraway look in them before he could reply. “We started growing apart, I guess. Her more so away from me. I felt like I was losing my best friend, but she didn’t care enough to even talk to me.”
He shifted his gaze to the horizon. “For months, I tried everything though. Talking, giving her space, therapy… only for her to confess that she didn’t love me anymore and that she was sleeping with one of her co-workers.”
I contained my shock at his words and took his hand. “What’s worse is she left so quickly. We decided to get a divorce a few weeks after her confession. And then she was gone. I only saw her a few times after that, one of which being the signing of our divorce papers.” He shook his head and looked down. “I keep wondering how she could do this to her own son, but I can’t figure it out.” He shrugged and sighed.
“You,” I started, “are an amazing father. You are an amazing person. You inspire me.” I held his gaze unwavering. “When people hurt you like that…”. I paused, thinking about the whirlwind of a relationship I had with Michael. If it could even be considered that. “It has more to do with their insecurities and less to do with you.”
The light from the moon pierced his eyes and brightened them. With the quiet of the forest but the brilliance of the city, being alone with him brought me peace. It was with him that I felt safe. Not just any place.
“I love you,” I said suddenly. As soon as it escaped my lips, I bit my tongue. “You don’t have to say it back. I think this wine you got was very, very—”. His lips instantly met mine, shutting me up. It caught me off-guard, but I quickly became accustomed to the warmth of his lips, his taste addicting.
“I love you, too,” he confessed as he pulled away.
We leaned into each other again, embracing each other like we knew it was what we had both been missing. I let him take me to the ground on the picnic blanket where he moved the food to the side in a swift movement.
He kissed my lips slowly as though savoring every taste. His tongue twirled with mine like lovers that had been separated for too long. Every embrace he gave me was the air that I had been missing in my lungs and with each one I returned it harder.
He took hold of my thighs and pulled me closer to him, gliding off my pants followed by my panties tossing them to the side before leaning into me again.
The warmth in my body overtook me and even in the chill of the parting winter, I felt like I was blazing. His hands traveled from my hips down until he paused between my legs, letting his fingers find their way to my clit where he rubbed on it slowly. I let out a breath as the heartbeat in my pussy started to quicken.
I could already feel the cum dripping down my thighs and onto his fingers before he unzipped his pants and pulled out his dick. “Wait,” I interjected, placing my hand on his chest. He stopped and gazed at me curiously. “Lemme do something for you,” I whispered in his ear as I used both of my hands to switch out the playing field with him on his back and me on top of him. I helped him get free from his shirt tossing it to the side.
Now, I really had his attention. As I sat on top of his waist, he watched as I reached over to the picnic basket and pulled something out. “I hope you like chocolate,” I said as I took the chocolate syrup and squeezed some onto his body. I leaned into him after tossing it to the side and let my tongue follow the trail on his chest to his collarbone. The heat that his body radiated turned me on even more as I kissed his body with the chocolate taste sweetening my desire for him.
His chest rose and fell as my hands traveled along his body and around his neck where I squeezed it softly for support and a little excitement for us both. I sucked on one of the crevices of his neck and moved up to his ear, letting my tongue drive him crazy.
“Do you like that?” I whispered. “Tell me you like it.”
“Yes, yes,” he said in a breath.
“That’s what I like to hear.” I kissed him again softly on the lips before reaching out for something else in the picnic basket. At the sight of a shaking can and exploding whipped cream in my mouth, Corey hardened even more underneath me.
I leaned into him and kissed him with it still on my tongue, feeling my mind clouding in anticipation of what was yet to come. He grabbed my thighs, turned me over and pinned me onto the ground without parting our lips from each other.
“Now that you’ve had your fun, it’s time for me to have mine,” he said as he pressed his dick near my pussy, teasing me.
“Come on,” I said.
“You have to say please,” he said.
“Come on,” I pleaded again, too stubborn to let the magic word slip out.
He stuck the tip of his dick in twirling it around in me teasing which made my heartbeat race, then pulled it out. I groaned.
“Please, pleaseee,” I said giving in. I shuddered as the pulses in my body became rampant. He teased again twirling inside of me and then thrusted hard right into me as I let out a scream. The strokes that came afterward didn’t help the earthquake I was experiencing.
I started to moan his name. “Oh Corey!”
This only motivated him to go harder, deepening his strokes as he pounded into me. I cocked my head up to the sky to see the twinkling lights above me extending for what seemed like forever and I became entranced in the twinkle as my body lit up just like it.
My eyes rolled to the back of my head as my back arched up to the sky, my body struggling to keep up with Corey. We were now hitting our climax together as my body tensed up from the sensation that I was feeling as we both came together. When we both came, we were left laying cuddled up next to each other as our breathing evened out.
He pulled me in closer and kissed my forehead. The silence was comforting and being this close to him even more so.
A sharp ring ran through the air. He glanced at his phone then back at me, pleading forgiveness with his eyes before picking it up. “Hello? Yes. I’m sorry I had to work late champ, but remember what I promised we’d do tomorrow? Alright, I’ll be home soon. I love you.” He hung up the phone, then found my eyes again.
“I’ve…”
“Gotta go. Right,” I said a little too harsh.
He furrowed his eyebrows. “What’s the matter?”
“Nothing,” I said mostly in the attempts to convince myself, but even I couldn’t believe it. “Did you tell Caiden you were going out on a date?”
“No,” he said simply. His short answer frustrated me, but before I could say anything, he added, “Was I supposed to?”
“You weren’t supposed to do anything. I just expected…” I paused. I didn’t know what to say. After everything that had happened between us, Caiden still f
elt like a gray area to me. He was my student, but he was his son.
“Caiden’s had enough people in and out of his life. I don’t think it’s a good idea to lead him on.”
“Lead him on…?” His words hurt me more than they angered me.
“That’s not what I mean, Danielle.”
“How else am I supposed to take it? You said you loved me, but you’re speaking to me like I’m temporary.”
He sighed and opened his mouth to speak, but I didn’t give him a chance to.
“I don’t need any more explanation. Take me home. Now.”
Chapter 7
Corey
When I got home, Danielle’s words were still on my mind. Even with the distraction of my thoughts, I managed to speak with the babysitter upon arrival.
“Is Caiden asleep?” I asked.
“Knocked out,” the babysitter said with a smile.
“Alright, great. Thank you.” I handed her a twenty and said goodnight. Once I was left alone, I started unpacking the remnants of the picnic. Memories floated back to the top of my head. Images of Danielle gazing at me while I put in each stroke, her hair clumping up on her forehead as the sweat collected.
Then, I remembered how her face had fallen when I was talking to her after my phone call with Caiden. I felt a sharp pain in my chest thinking about it and slumped down on the couch to reflect. I didn’t mean to hurt her, but if this was what it felt like I never wanted to do it again. Knowingly or unknowingly.
“Dad,” I heard a soft voice from further down. I looked up to see Caiden staring at me, rubbing his eyes. “I can’t sleep,” he groaned.
I smiled at him and waved him over. I didn’t care that he pretended to be asleep until I got home; I just glad to see him.
“Hey,” I said when he sat next to me and laid his head on my chest. “Why can’t you sleep?” I asked curious to his answer.
“I had a bad dream,” he explained mopey.
“Oh no, what happened?”
“I had a dream that I was all by myself in the school. It was really dark. I kept calling mommy’s name, but she never came.” I squeezed him tight after he recounted his dreams. It seemed nothing else I did would measure up to the significance Kaylee’s presence brought to his life but at least I could hold him.
“I love you; you know that?” I asked him.
“I know dad,” he said with a short laugh. It seemed so obvious to him, but too important for me not to reiterate.
“How much do I love you since you know.”
“To the moon and back!”
“Actually, I love you past the moon and all the stars—to a place not even we know about yet,” I clarified with a smile. “And back.” We both laughed together. “And do you know how much mommy loves you?”
His expression shifted and he said softly, “She doesn’t love me.”
My body tensed up and I hoped he couldn’t tell how sad I got. I had to stay positive for him. “She does. She loves you as much as I do.”
“Then why doesn’t she want to see me anymore?”
The words caught in my throat. I had been holding back the truth from him for so long but now wasn’t the time to suddenly confess what even I didn’t know, but I was tired of the stories. “I don’t know.”
He looked up at me puzzled.
“But you’ve got me, and I promise I’ll never leave you,” I told him. I saw the light in his eye return, and he gave me a big smile.
Chapter 8
Danielle
I was sitting at my desk when my students started pouring into the room that Monday morning. The sight of Caiden reminded me of Corey, and I couldn’t help but get sad again. It had only been two days since our failure of a date. I perked up when he smiled and waved at me.
“Good morning, Caiden,” I said.
“Good morning, Ms. Parker.”
He prepared to walk to his cubby but stopped short and turned around. “Ms. Parker, my dad said he wanted to schedule a meeting for later today. So, I am going to be staying for the after-school program. He said he’d send an email.”
I nodded at him. “Got it!” I said with a smile even though my mind started wondering what it was he could’ve wanted to say to me.
I looked back at my computer after greeting the other students to see an email from none other than Corey.
Good morning Ms. Parker,
I informed Caiden that I would like to have a meeting with you about his progress in his academics as although he is excelling in math, I worry about his reading comprehension. Would four pm this afternoon be okay?
Regards,
Corey
I took in a deep breath at his sudden professionalism considering how informal we had been the other night.
Hi,
That works.
-Danielle Parker
***
I found myself straightening up my blouse and taking peeks of myself in my compact as I anxiously awaited four pm. All the kids had gone home for the afternoon and the afterschool program kids were in the gym downstairs.
A knock at the door prompted my attention. I walked to it and pulled it open to see Corey standing there.
“Good afternoon, Mr. Davidson. It’s nice to see you.” I walked into the room and led him to the table by the cubbies. It was typically where I held group studies but today it was for Corey and me to talk.
“So, you wanted to talk about your son’s reading comprehension. What about it has been concerning you?” I began.
“How advanced it is?” He asked. “I wanted to tell you that you’re doing a wonderful job teaching.”
I stared at him dumbfounded. “So…” I started. “You really scheduled this meeting to thank me?”
“No,” he said. “I would’ve rather thank you in person over and over again…” I felt the heat rising in me, but I was too upset with him to let it show so I kept my lips in a taut line as I raised an eyebrow at him. “But I needed to apologize before I could do that.”
“For?”
“For letting you think I was anything but serious about you. For letting you think that you were temporary,” he said it as though it were a bad word. “Listen, letting someone in doesn’t scare me because I don’t think we can last. It scares me because of the possibility that they don’t think we can last.” My heart sank. “Or maybe they do think we can last but they have no idea what it takes to really be in something for the long run.”
I fell silent. His points made me feel for him. “I’m not Kaylee,” I said. “I don’t know what I have to tell you for you to understand that I am in it for the long run. If you love me like you say you do, I want to be in it forever.”
His eyes widened in shock. Then his face softened, pleasantly surprised. “Okay,” he said softly. “I’m in.”
The way he was looking at me made my heart speed up, my mind racing as my eyes traveled from his eyes to his lips. I could see him taking me in, his mind wandering to a place I wanted to be in. Then like our thoughts had met, we gave each other a look. Suddenly the table was no longer a barrier as we rose and took each other in our arms.
He picked me up and slam me on the empty table, letting his hands travel all over my body. He unbuttoned my blouse as his tongue then had its way on my neck, on my collarbone, on my breasts and down to my navel.
With a skirt on, it was easy for him to slip me out of my panties and kiss me on my other lips before his tongue found my clit and went to work. I moaned out his name as his tongue swirled around and around. My body began to shudder as the heartbeat in my pussy sped up. He took hold of my hips and turned me onto my stomach, leaving my backside vulnerable to him.
“You are so beautiful,” he said as he kissed the back of my neck. He let his hands run up my thick thighs before moving his finger inside of me. My breathing started to come out in uneven paces as he strummed my pussy melodically.
“Corey,” I moaned.
“That’s right. Say my name.”
“Corey,
I moaned again. The rest of my cries got caught by my quickening breaths and I could only let my body fall submissive to him.
Because of my position as he had me face down on the table, I could only feel when he slid his dick into me. I took in a sharp breath as the euphoria began to overwhelm me. He started to put in the strokes, driving me mad the deeper and slower he went. I could feel myself floating away the longer we went. He gripped my waist for more control and focused on getting me to cum.
“Corey,” I moaned again. I tried not to scream. “Fuck.” I was almost there. My body started to convulse uncontrollably as my eyes rolled to the back of my head.
“Danielle?” I heard the voice of a woman from behind me. My eyes widened at the sight of the woman at the door, I jumped off the table and Corey stood in shock.
